    Island Outpost

This model was inspired by a LUG challenge focused around the Pirates theme. While I usually only make a few Pirates builds each year, it has always been one of my favorite genres. The one limit for the challenge was that your entry had to be no bigger than the largest official Pirates set. I have always been more attracted to the islands, forts, and land settings than ships themselves, so I settled on building a small fort on an island. A single 32×32 baseplate served as the foundation for the model. For once a peaceful day with no pirates, or enemy ships in sight of the small Imperial outpost. Which makes it a fitting time to restock with some fresh supplies. More pictures are available on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking

    [MOC] Redcoat Ship

This Redcoat ship keeps a similar design to my recent Bluecoat MOC but is mostly a MOD of The Brick Bounty. If you have not seen the MOC of my custom Bluecoat Ship click here. I had to rebuild some parts of TBB but I left the cabin alone for the most part. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. I hope you like it.

[WIP LDD MOC] Imperial Endor Bunker

Hello, everyone! Today I give you a work in progress model that i am compiling in LDD. Based on the Imperial Bunker on Endor, which is key in keeping the Death Star II's shields up, this set has around 650 pieces total as it currently is. It also includes the satellite as seen in the movie. Features include collapsing walls, opening doors, rotating seats, and rotating turrets. No minifigures are included right now, but I expect to add more when the final model is completed. I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments, criticisms, etc. The pictures I use are created via Bluerender, a fast, free, simple rendering program.

    [MOC] Imperial Hovertank TX-225 GAVr

Hey everybody, I've been a lurker for a long time and decided I'd make my first post with a MOC I just finished last week. I saw the incredible tracked version posted here by DarthPineapple, and got really inspired by a design that wolf.leews-ç„¡ was working on but abandoned. Having said all that, I made the canon hovertank version of the TX-225 GAVr Occupier Tank. A full gallery is available here http://imgur.com/a/lLY3J The tank is roughly 627 pieces (not counting the crates or ramps), and is incredibly study. There is room for 3 figures to sit inside of the tank, with a targeting visor for the gunner, and a console and steering yoke for the driver. The Rogue One visual guide gives a nice glimpse inside the tank that I used for reference, and DarthPineapple's use of the bucket handle for a yoke was genius. On the back wall of the cabin are racks for 2 blasters, as well as a console to control the commander's roof hatch. All hatches can be opened for the minifigs to see out of, and the aforementioned console doubles as a seat for the commander to be displayed. The twin Dymek laser batteries on the sides pivot up and down, and are independent. The whole tank is suspended above the ground at the appropriate scale for minifigures. On the rear deck are spaces for two Kyber Crystal Crates, and the deck can be removed easily to view the detailed engine compartment. Lastly, ramps can be attached to the vehicle's rear to facilitate easy crate loading for the ground crews. I hope you all like it, it was a ton of fun to design and I put a lot of time into making sure it is study. I am confident that this would withstand play from a child, while looking good enough for a collector. If anyone is interested in a parts list and hand made building guide for the tank and crates, just message me. All I ask is a small $5 donation so I can continue making new stuff. Thanks for looking, glad to finally come out of lurking
  6. Episode1 This is the first day for me after finishing the Academy as a Trooper, ... a Stormtrooper. I have done the one-year junior academy for cadets on Lothal and after that I had the standard stormtrooper training. Now I'm officially a member of the Stormtrooper Corps and I got the code name: TG-0222 I was sent forth Takodana to an Imperial Outpost to serve the Galactic Empire there. I travelled with a bunch of experienced soldiers, so I was the only one 'shiny' , new recruit on that shuttle. The Captain of this facility welcomed us at the yard. He is a characteristic imperial officer, strong-willed and disciplined. Unfortunately the other shipment didn't arrive yet, which means our equipment and blasters are still in crates. Our Officer said we will do repairs and cleaning as technician, until the supply come. Today finally the new shipment arrived, so we're lined up on the yard of the Outpost. The Technician brought the crate with the Captain , and then they started divide the guns to the troops. I was the last in line, so I got the one remaining blaster. Somehow it was a non-standard EE-3 blaster. I don't know how this happened, but I now this is mine. After spend a decent time training, I'm very good in aiming and shooting with this Gun, certainly among the bests at trainings. Anticipated this outpost will be my home for a long time, to serve the Galaxy, gain experience and maybe it's just the beginning of a great carrier...

    [Thrawn] - Shadow Strike

ShadowStrike After several conflicts around imperial bases on Rodia, Grand Admiral Thrawn visited the main imperial complex of the planet to take control. "Sir we've received a coded rebel transmission about a planned attack. We have not much information, but we know, a small group of soldiers will try get in one of our research base. We don't know which one and what's the goal." "Well. General do we know who will lead the mission?" "Yes Sir, a rodian rebel named Tweel Jaz." "Interesting, Did you know Phoolgee was the home city of the Jaz family. This is a part of the city's destroyed main building. We have a base there, haven't we?" "This painting was paint by the rodian Wonst Blar, is symbolizes the rodian stealth. Our rebel, Tweel Jaz usually lead small raids, so now we know what to expect. Send out probe droids for all the possible entry points of the mentioned place and leave them hidden." "Yes Sir!" The general leaves the room, and Thrawn start to listening an old rodian music. "Sir one of our droid spotted some activity at landing pad 9." "Good. Now, General send out the shadow troopers at the nearest entry and done it quietly. And prepare the units to capture the terrorists. I want Jaz alive." End
  8. When I was assigned my first mission as ISB, I didn't imagine I would be on another rahtar chase after the Black Sun Syndicate. To think It wasn't too long ago that I was hunting Xizor's spies back on Tatooine with Ulric's unit. Except this time was different. We weren't on some outer rim planet and the target wasn't some petty traitor. This time, the mark was no other than Prince Xizor. Apparently he's been biting off more than he can chew. I wasn't given the details, but ISB wanted him captured at all costs. Several teams of storm commandos were dispatched to push through Xizor's palace. But as it turns out, we weren't the only ones. The rebels had a mission of their own at the palace. Given the circumstances, we weren't allowed to fire on any rebel forces. The mercenaries, however, was a different story. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys, back with a bit of a rushed/quick build for this challenge(ran out of time but I figured somethings better than nothing, right). I took a bit of creative freedom and modeled Xizor's palace after Tatooine architecture. Since Xizor always reminded me of Djinns, I thought Tatooine's middle-eastern-like design fit his character's look. Hope you guys like it, tell me what you think and thanks for viewing!
  9. Ep1 After a small time spent with patrolling and exercises all over again, we finally got an order. Most of the available troops were sent to Coruscant for a secret mission. We had not too much information about it, but we will be some sort of backup. When we arrived the main forces are already started the operation. They sent me to a team led by a shock trooper. I didn't know anything about our objective yet. I met them at one of the smaller entry doors of palace. Shock Trooper - I'm ST-0513 and I lead this small team. Our objective is to protect this Entry Door and secure to escape. We must stop any Black Sun mercs, but we must try not to kill any rebel terrorist and we didn't get permission to open fire first. Understood? Team - Yes Sir! Shock Trooper - Good. And now we moving in. One of the troopers moved to the controlling panel of the door. He entered the code number into the red display of the console and the door opened immediately. They all went in on it and it closed back. There has been nothing for a while and they just waited there. Then suddenly they heard steps approaching fast. Shock Trooper - Get ready, quietly and don't forget not to shoot first! Shock Trooper - Stop, don't Move! Put down the weapons and we don't hurt you! The door slides... And the leader of the group collapsed. Some Black Sun members arrived and they opened the door from outside and fired a shot. Then everybody opened the fire for the gang members. TG-0222 and the other two stormtrooper trying to get cover, but one of them got a shot in the back. The Imperial and Rebel troops Together were stronger and shortly they defeated all the mercs. TG-0222 - You should leave, hurry! Rebel - Thanks. Everybody go! Stormtrooper - Where are the rebels? TG-0222 - They were more than us, we couldn't stop them. End.
  10. Standing 58cm tall and 59cm long, this AT-AT from Star Wars is probably my largest robot to date. It is controlled by an EV3 p-brick, and is capable of walking, turning its neck, and shooting balls from a twin-ball launcher located inside its head. Here is a list of the functions of the robot: - Walking: 2 EV3 large motors - Neck turning: 1 EV3 medium motor - Shooting: 1 NXT motor Also includes an EV3 IR sensor for use with the EV3 IR remote. After getting the BWE, I had a plentiful supply of grey beams and panels, which I used in the aesthetics of the model. The head design was the most tricky part of the build. I needed it to look good, while at the same time have enough space for the twin-ball shooter with magazines. However, I'm happy with the end result, as it looks quite accurate to the actual thing. With the amount of pieces I had, I was also able to achieve a (almost) full body cover, which although adds to the weight of the robot, looks really nice. There are also two flaps on top of the head that can be lifted up to access the ball magazines. Walking was especially tricky to achieve in this model, as it was so top heavy. Rubber bands had to be used to help pull in the legs when they bore the load of the robot, otherwise the motors would not have enough torque. All legs are controlled simultaneously by the two motors, so the robot theoretically can't turn. However, I doubt the robot could turn even if the two sides could be controlled independently, since it is so top heavy. The EV3 brick can be accessed through opening of the panels on the side of the body. This was the easiest way to access the electronics while keeping a full-body cover (The real AT-AT in the movies also had opening side body panels). Here is a video of the AT-AT walking, turning its neck, and shooting. More information about the robot can be found here: https://www.us.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/community/robot?projectid=afba4def-3b6b-49f3-8e0f-f964224763d9 Hope you enjoyed this robot!
  11. Hello Eurobricks! This is my first post, so i figured the best way to start is to display my Imperial Star Destroyer. I based it off set 6211, basically making it more detailed, and building a second top panel to place on the bottom to get the movie accurate shape. I view its as a sort of UCS set for those who can't afford the actual UCS Star Destroyer. There is not interior features, due to the demanding structure of the ship. I tried to get the engine to be mostly movie accurate: Enjoy!
  12. I was hesitant to buy the Imperial Assault Hovertank for some time but I caved and finally did a week ago. Its a great little vehicle in the movie, I actually think it blends really well into the Imperial War machine. For thirty dollars USD its a great value, but this isnt a review. Even as good as the set is there is a lot of room for improvement. What stuck out to me most prevalently is the top hatch, whereas in the movie its just a little hatch in the set its the entire cockpit's roof that opens. I know Lego's version is the hover tank variant but I really want to squeeze in tracks. I also want to rework the cockpit to fit three figures and if at all possible make another hatch for the spotter to stick his head out. Last year there was a wonderful thread full of fantastic modifications to the AT-ST released this past fall. While the AT-ST is a far more known and beloved part of Star Wars then the GAVw "Occupier, I would love to open this thread up to any modifications the community has. If you've modified the Imperial Tank, please, feel free to post your pictures. Lets try and improve an already great set to the best it can be.

    [MOC] Bluecoat Ship

Hi everyone, it is long overdue but I finally got around to constructing the Bluecoat ship we never got in the 2015 Pirates wave. I have been working on this on and off since The Brick Bounty was released but time/money restraints were holding me back for a while. This ship was created using a hybrid design of both The Brick Bounty and Brickbeards Bounty as I wanted it to look like an official Lego set. After many Bricks & Pieces orders and a few Bricklink orders, I present to you my Bluecoats new home.
  14. Hello, I'm here again. after my first Pirate's MOC ("Taverna") today I want to show you all my first ship EVER. This is my version of a classic imperial guard ship , iconic set 6274 Caribbean Clipper. Now I show you step by step, how I built it. Please, sorry for my bad english, I hope you can understand me. Enjoy and please, leave a comment and give me a lot of advice on how to improve because I've never done a sailboat before. I saw extraordinary work on this forum, you are all very good, real master builder! P.S. sails, unfortunately, are NOT original!
  15. Hi all After only getting four kits in the Microfighters series 4 I decided to have a go at adding to the range myself, starting with 'Rogue One' itself. So here's my micro MOC of the Imperial Cargo Shuttle. It's 12 studs long, 6 wide with the wings up and about 16 wide with them down, 105 pieces at last count. I experimented with a few different builds and the trickiest parts were making the wings strong without too many plates and the orange cargo 'pod'. I had a nicer looking cargo pod using some curved corner bricks but it was hard to make the rest of the build strong so I had to go for slopes and brackets instead. I kept the colours mostly dark grey with some light grey for the wing markings and also a few touches of dark tan, just to add a bit of dirt and break up the shape a little. The pilot is from the Battlefront battlepack but he's close enough to one of the Rogue One soldiers for the moment. That's it - hope you like it, all comments welcome. If you're interested you can see some of my Other Microfighter Builds here :) and I can post a link to the lxf file too Joe

  18. Today I bring to you another of my comparisons: 7667 Imperial Dropship VS 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack! 7667 Description: 75165 Description: Minifigures 7667: 75165: 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack has 2 Death Troopers and 2 Stormtroopers; 7667 Imperial Dropship has 1 Shadow Stormtrooper and 3 Stormtroopers. 75165's minifigures are definitely more detailed than 7667's ones, but hey, it did come out 9 years after 7667. I personally prefer 75165's minifigures because I prefer Death Troopers over a Shadow Stormtrooper, but this may vary due to personal preference. As both have good minifigures for their time, I call it a tie (no pun intended ). Points: 7667: 0.5 points. 75165: 0.5 points. Looks I favour 75165 over 7667 as it has the more classic and accurate grey color, compared to 7667's mess of black, light grey, and blue. Also, 7667's cockpit is hideous and unfinished. Points: 7667: 0 points. 75165: 1 point. Playability 7667 has a very nice Troop Deploying function, but its other features are significantly lacking. The cockpit is terribly placed and sometimes breaks off when attempted to be opened. Also, its weapons storage is nowhere near as sophisticated as 75165. Also, 75165 has posable legs, rotating and firing cannons, and stud shooters, which, despite being maligned by many, do add playability to the set. Thus, 75165 wins in playability too. Points: 7667: 0 points. 75165: 1 point. Value 7667 retailed in 2008 at $9.99 with 81 pieces, so its value is 12.3 cents per piece. 75165 retails this year (2017) at $12.99 with 112 pieces, so its value is 11.6 cents per piece. Yet again, 75165 wins. Points: 7667: 0 points 75165: 1 point Total scores: 7667: 0.5 points 75165: 3.5 points 75165 wins against 7667. But which do you prefer?

    [MOC] TIE Fighters

These TIEs have already been up on Flickr for a little while but I thought I should put them up here too. Not a lot to say really, we all know what a TIE looks like after all. This is my version, it (comfortably) fits a fig, has an opening top hatch and even the rear window seen extensively on ILM models and in the Rebels TV show. It's also surprisingly sturdy, I made sure the cockpit was built for strength (less for looks as you may tell form the amount of studs) and in that it can keep up with my X-wing's tight manoeuvres in a hand-held dogfight :D TIE fighter (1) by Inthert, on Flickr TIE Fighter (cockpit) by Inthert, on Flickr I've made an LXF file for the cockpit if anyone's interested: TIE Cockpit.lxf (I had added this to my X-wing topic but its obviously more appropriate here ;) EDIT: I've competed the full TIE in LDD as requested. Enjoy!: TIE (complete).lxf UPDATE: I've been informed there may be some pieces missing in the from of 4 2x1 grey plates (used to close the hexagons on the insides of the wings) so just keep that in mind when using the file ;) I also noticed that some parts were omitted from the first file so I decided to re-try the cockpit, seems to be okay in the complete TIE file just so you know. I couldn't just have one imperial ship around to blow my X-wing and Falcon to bits so I made two! This a mining guild TIE as seen in Star Wars Rebels, its a fairly simple modification on my imperial tie, just a few colour changes and what not but it does the job ;) Mining Guild TIE fighter (1) by Inthert, on Flickr Let me know what you think, I'm sure they're far from perfect so any suggestions will be welcome :)

    [MOC] The Imperial March

Hi guys, so I was somewhat inspired by a recent job where I got to work at the legendary Abbey Road studios! I decided to make my own version of the iconic Beatles album cover using a mix of the new Beatles mini figs (for the yellow submarine) and some of my favourite imperials. DSC_2808 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I call this build 'The Imperial March' DSC_2790 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr 2016-12-19_02-43-14 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I tried to get some of the background detail into this build but felt the car would be the wrong scale so opted to leave it out. Port Jamaica Blueprints

Here is a rough draft of what I like to call Port Jamaica. https://flickr.com/photos/145745371@N02/sets/72157677678837686 I only have the sketch and an LDD design, but so far it looks quite swell! It is based off of historical Port Royale before it sunk, and Havana from Assassain's Creed IV. It includes sets 6267, 6274, 6265, and 6259. Custom buildings are some towers, and storehouse, and a little tavern. Any comments or criticism is acceptable! What do you guys think? Temple or no temple?
  22. With all that happened during the last patrol, It felt good coming back to base. I took off my helmet for a breath of fresh air. Finally a moments rest, or so I thought. That was until I came across an imperial officer. Blasted! And while I'm outside of uniform. I nearly jumped as I saluted him, "Sir". "At ease soldier. I am Commander Ulric. I am here in regards to your recent performance. You displayed exceptional skills in the capture of the Rodian rebel scum, enough for me to take notice." "Thank you sir. Just doing my duty." Looks like he doesn't mind the helmet. "Indeed. And that is why you are hereby promoted to the Imperial Survey Corps. You are under my command now, effective immediately." "Yes sir!" "Now, report to bay 12 in 0400 hours and prepare for departure. We're leaving this back-water planet." "Right away commander." "And trooper, who gave you permission to remove that helmet." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys, back with a small vignette scene set in the interior of an imperial bunker. The build was made mostly for continuity sake to show my character's progression but it also gave me a chance to introduce a new character, Commander Ulric. Albeit he's a generic hates-everything kind of guy, I like how he turned out. So tell me what you guys think and thanks for viewing. Please judge this freebuild.

    TIE Defender MOC help needed

So today I've been working on an MOC of the Imperial TIE Defender, and I'm nearly finished, but I plan to bricklink this model and build it in real life after the digital render is complete. Right now this is about 835 pieces, but I'm asking the community for help as to how I might potentially stabilize the wing connections. As they are right now, each of the six wings are attached to the middle plate by some clips which are in turn held in their upright position by a series of inverted 1x2 curved slopes. There's no chance of this thing standing on its own if I were to build it with the current design. Despite this, each of the three central plates are securely held to the rotating axis by means of technic pins. So other than what I mentioned does anyone else have any comments or ideas on how I can improve this? Thanks!
  24. Optional intro story, linking this build to the previous ones: I linked up with Bravo company just after dark. Our target was the Industrial Automaton factory on the edge of Theed. Something about investigating sabotaged astromechs. We were supposed enter the office complex via the roof, and make sure no one tried to erase data before our slicers could get to it. The rest of the troops would be at the front doors, knocking politely with their AT-ST. It was quickly apparent that the office complex was not where we'd been told it was. Either they'd changed the factory layout, or ImpIntel had their blueprints upside down. Ah well, time to do a little sightseeing. If we can avoid getting welded to anything, we should be able to find our way to the office complex.
  25. Mods please note, this is a space model using Star Wars sets and ideas... please do not move it to the Star Wars section! This is an Imperial Navy Special News Bulletin : In a press release today, naval officials have confirmed the existence of two new ships to add on to the already constructed Star Cruiser. They are named in the post below: This is the Imperial Home Fleet with the support craft and fighters excluded from view. From right to left, we have the Combat Frigate "Huckleberry", then the Star Cruiser "Sawyer", and finally the Assault Carrier "Thatcher". These three ships form the backbone of the Imperial Home Fleet, and have been used as a threesome on many war-time missions and peaceful encounters. SAWYER - star cruiser (set 9515 MOD) Name: Sawyer Owner: Lego Empire Model: TOM Class Star Cruiser Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 16 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 2,850 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 62% speed of light The ship has 16 regular engines, specifically Twin Ion Engines. The command bridge of the ship features Admiral Oswald Lyons seat (on the right) with Lt. Commander Eliza Burnside (top seat) and Doctor Andrew Sinister (bottom seat) Right: Admiral Oswald Lyons Middle: Dr. Andrew Sinister Left: Lt Commander Eliza Burnside HUCKLEBERRY - combat frigate (set 75158 MOD) Name: Huckleberry Owner: Lego Empire Model: FNN Class Combat Frigate Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 9 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 2,670 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 57% speed of light The rear of the ship features two movable arms to increase the amount of engines from five to nine, bringing the vessel up to it's full speed and maneuverability parameters. THATCHER - assault carrier (set 75106 MOD) Name: Thatcher Owner: Lego Empire Model: BKY Class Assault Carrier Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 3 Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines (BO-TIE) Max Speed: 2,770 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 63% speed of light The rear of the ship features three supercharge BO-TIE engines (Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines) that are cutting edge when it comes to light speed percentage. However, they are temperamental and have never been tested to their full power of 63% of the speed of light... usually they cap it at about 56% to keep the fleet moving at the same speed as it's slowest member. Thank you, that is all! NOTES on the fleet In reality, these ships were originally Lego sets remade in LDD on Eurobricks that I modified either a lot (set 9515 The Malevolence) a little (75106 Assault Carrier), or somewhere in between. (75158 Combat Frigate) They were originally recreated by these Eurobricks users: ADHO15, (for the Malevolence in the middle) ArmstrongYong (for the assault carrier on the right), and TheNerdyOne (Combat Frigate on left) before being modified by me. No LDD file will be made available for now, but the real life pictures (and the file) will be put up as soon as I build them, around the start of November. That's all for now, and if you have any thoughts, complaints or questions, feel free to ask!
