  1. Hi everybody, I'm new here (link to my presentation), and to introduce myself to all of you I'd like to share some of my creations. Some of you may already have seen the mods I showed early today in the SW forum, but now I'd like to show something completely original, and probably my favourite digital moc so far. I am a lover of the Winter Village Creator Expert series and I decided to create something myself to expand my town. I thought that in the winter village line were missing a market to feed the poor cold minifigures, so I started LDD and I created a small grocer! The name clearly isn't casual. I decided to make a tribute to the famous modular building, the green grocer, and working with this idea in mind I realized some details in a similar way to the original building! I leave to you the game to find all the similarities! I haven't actually built a real model since some parts are not existing in the colors I choosed, but I guess in the future I will find a solution to replace them. Those are some renders I made: Winter Green Grocer by SpaceBrick, on Flickr winter grocery stairs by SpaceBrick, on Flickr winter grocery well view by SpaceBrick, on Flickr My goal was to create something similar to the existing winter sets, so the Grocer isn't so big in terms of pieces (around one thousand) and is completely open on the rear, just like the Toy Shop or the Santa's Workshop: Inside Winter Green Grocer by SpaceBrick, su Flickr inside winter grocery 2 by SpaceBrick, su Flickr inside winter grocery upper floor by SpaceBrick, su Flickr The ground floor is the actual shop, the first floor is a sort of a warehouse and a office for the grocer's owner. The roof is quite simple by choice, in this way is more similar to the other winter buildings. Outside there are a couple of more details. There's a well, a snow covered tree and a lamp, that always come with Lego winter sets! I also created some minifig to complete the scene, in particular there are the shop owner, a customer and a mailman, useful to deliver new daily supplies. winter grocery well 2 by SpaceBrick, su Flickr Winter Green Grocer accessories by SpaceBrick, su Flickr I submitted this project also to Lego IDEAS, and it has been selected in those days to appear in the Staff Picks in the Ideas homepage.I honestly do not think that the project will go much further, because unfortunately winter village is not a click-catcher theme, but if you like my project I leave here a link to the related page: WINTER GREEN GROCER If you wanna take a look, in the page there are also a few updates where I tried to combine more than one shop, just like that: LEGO Summer Green Grocer - double, tiled roof by SpaceBrick, su Flickr And this is it, I hope you enjoyed my modest moc! Thank you for watching, if you like my creation please leave a comment!

    Witch's Tower!

Today I present to you the Witch's Tower It is home to a witch as one would guess. It is a model of 917 bricks ( but most of those are quite small ones) ans has a footprint of around 16 studs by 24 but the majority of that is the landscaped surrounds with the tower it self having a footprint of around 12 studs by 10 studs and the whole model reaches a height of 22 and a third bricks tall (a height of near 25 studs tall) This model is on Lego ideas (ha you probably saw that coming from a mile off) and could become a unique new castle set with your support. Whilst it is gear more to display over play it does still offer both and features a selection of removable furnishings to allow the tower to be used as you see fit. I feel that the project fills a need of medium sized castle sets (and goats) that the Lego company are currently lacking.Whilst my focus was on the exterior I was adamant to give the set a decent interior which is absent in most Lego sets in the medium range. This is my first Lego ideas project thanks for viewing. :) please share and support the project if you'd like to see it as an official Lego set. More images are available on flickr and the lego ideas page. Have a great day~AgentKallus of Hydra Sorry for most of the text turning into flickr links that was not my intent any way here is the link to the project. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/541647dd-e945-4887-8eed-f5e773a547d5
  3. Hey guys, I'm looking to start a UCS scale star wars project but I don't know what to build? I've looked and almost all the ships, vehicles...anything, has already been done either as a Moc or an official Lego set. I'm planning to make instructions for this once I'm finished and sell them for quite cheap (Probably around $5 CAN) so if anyone can give me an idea that I end up doing, when I have the instructions I can give them to you for free. I just need some help finding the perfect Star Wars "Thing" to UCS. (Sorry, I'm using UCS as a verb...rip) Thanks!
  4. Over the past several months, the LEGO Review Board has carefully reviewed 12 projects that reached 10,000 supporters between September 2016 and January 2017, our third review qualification period of 2016. Sanne, our Project Manager, shares the results from LEGOLAND in Billund: Ship In A Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan. A big congratulations to JakeSadovich77 on becoming the next official LEGO Ideas fan designer! As an avid LEGO builder, Jacob Sadovich was inspired to create his LEGO Ship in a Bottle, The Flaship Leviathan, following a real-life ship in a bottle that he had built just a few years ago. We’re really excited to be able to introduce Jacob's Ship in a Bottle, The Flashship Leviathan set for its unique approach to what official LEGO sets can look like. If you'd like to learn more about Jacob then make sure to check out his 10K Club Interview. Voltron - Defender of the Universe A big congratulations to len_d69 on becoming the next official LEGO Ideas fan designer! Leandro’s passion for Voltron started at a very young age when his parents bought him a Voltron toy. From that moment on Leandro was hooked. Building with LEGO bricks allowed Leandro to celebrate his passion for Voltron - Defender of the Universe even more. We’re really excited to be able to introduce Leandro’s Voltron - Defender of the Universe set. Leandro’s project sets itself apart for its creative way to build with LEGO bricks. If you'd like to learn more about Leandro then make sure to check out his 10K Club Interview. This is my LEGO Ideas The Flintstones set proposal HERE I have over half the votes needed for LEGO to review it. Larger and more images HERE Beyond The Brick interview showing physical build HERE The car is attached to the stand / dirt road by a ball joint, so it can be positioned dynamically, and look like the weight of the ribs is tipping it. (The graphics on the Minifigures and other elements were added on top of the photos in Photoshop, Dino is a render composited in ) Thanks, Andy

    [MOC] Subway Train and Station

hello, i decided to create a subway train and the station as i feel lego is lacking a subway, the station is based on the Swedish undergrounds as they are filled with nice colours and the train is just a generic subway car which probably fits more towards a NYC sub but oh well please let me know what you think the project is also on ideas if you would like to see this https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ff56ee95-3958-4871-87f2-65aeac7e9b9c

  12. Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a LEGO model inspired in the city of Cartagena, a Colombian paradise for vacation. Ambienced on a latin american coastal vacation atmosphere, Casa Cartagena is a perfect place for all the passing-by tourists who want to take a break of walking around the 'Walled City' and grab a cold drink or just chill out. If you like it, please Support it on https://ideas.lego.com/projects/69aba0ad-b171-4002-9f2d-797f066f20e4 by clicking on the 'Support' button. Everyone is invited to come inside Casa Cartagena to have a nice fruit beberage! About the model It is inspired by the 'Walled city' (in Cartagena, Colombia), a place full of color and colonial architecture. The building can be opened and closed vertically by the half. Its design is also based on the modular technique, which allows to remove the ceiling and the second floor. Minifigs: Sven, the scandinavian tourist; Joseph, a canadian businessman; Laura, the young girl who runs the business; and Petronila, the local native who provides fruits. It has around 750 bricks. [MOC] 'Kampung House'

Hi everyone. Today I'm proud to present the latest MOC from Mr. Ng WY aka Toycrazy, 'The Kampung House'! It had been approved by LEGO Ideas and please support if you want this gorgeous piece to become an official set! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b56bd141-94cf-4454-8bbc-15511707b5ec 'There was a time when all that you could care about are the friends that you’re going to meet again tomorrow and carefree days of fun and laughter void of responsibilities. If you’ve ever wanted to be transported back to a time when life was worry free and evoke the very same feelings and memories one had as a child - the Kampung House is meant to elicit those nostalgic memories. The "Kampung House" is a Village House in South East Asia, is built from wooden panels resting on piles all round as the foundations of the build. This unique yet universal themed abode will allow LEGO fans all over the world to not only build a setting but have a complementary surrounding play theme catering to both the young and and young-at-heart.' Lets enjoy some pictures below! The cozy village feel which brings you out of the hectic life in big cities! What a stress reliever! The side view of the set. So many details inside the building structure! You can see the air vents on top of the front, the wooden planks of the windows and perfect use of those sand green bricks and tiles! I liked the coconut tree. This is the back of the house. What a beautiful scenery! Did you spot the cat? This is a very nice set and if you want it to be released as an official set, please click on the link below and support! Thank you very much! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b56bd141-94cf-4454-8bbc-15511707b5ec

  15. This is a reference for some techniques that can be used to create LEGO spheres. Hope this helps when deciding which option to use. And a look at the inside of the larger and more complicated spheres.
  16. What did you build that's not meant to be a toy or model, but to serve a general household purpose? I made an iPhone stand to let me use it without holding it while it's charging, an iPad speaker amplifier that works, but isn't pretty. I'm considering making a nutcracker for sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds and an iPhone stand for use with the magnification feature (good for looking at Design IDs in tiny font on parts) or to use in lieu of scanning a receipt.
  17. I recently bought 8 Damped Shock Absorbers to use for suspension, but I was wondering what else they could be used for? What have you used them for? And what is the most unusual use you can think of? For anyone in Australia, here is where I got them: Lego Technic Lego Pneumatic Shock Absorbers, and the seller has heaps of them!
  18. Hello All, I am really glad to be part of the huge nice community!! I have just posted this new project & I really appreciate your Feedback , comments and supporting my Lego Project "THE B-Copter" on the following link : All Pics and details : Link removed. I am a big fan of Drones and Quadrators so I wanted to create a unique LEGO set for the 1st Drone with unique Mechanical structure to illustrate how real drones fly with a bug shape as the Bee. THE B-Copter is designed in a fully functioning Mechanical way( H design), The 4 Propeller rotate at the same time but each 2 opposites are rotating in the same direction ( 2 clockwise & 2 anti-clockwise in PIC #12) and it is ready for Power function as well. I believe that this LEGO set would be a great introduction for the Drones in the LEGO world with some engineering Mechanisms that are simple and fascinating at the same time. I hope you liked & support the Design to have it as a real Lego Set ! Thanks a lot.

    [MOC] Knight Rider - K.I.T.T.

This is my project of K.I.T.T.: 250 pieces, 2 minifigures can sit inside, De Lorean (CUUSO/Ideas) scale. Now I must place the orders of pieces to build it :) UPDATE: This is the real MOC :) Full album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskTyAXHH
  22. Everyone remembers galaxy squad. Some liked it, some didn't. But everyone can probably agree that it was our last original, thought out, classic space theme. I liked it, but probably not the kids. At least that's what I suspect, considering the mark downs at Walmart. Because "nooooooo no no no"! Kids didn't want this. They wanted this! "Sigh" So where does that leave us? Stuck buying something like this? So I'm thinking "If kids want Star Wars, why not make sets aimed towards adults?" Creator Expert Series anyone? Why not make a $100 to $500 dollar classic space for AFOL? What do you think?

    [MOC] History of LEGO Castle

I already had the concept of "little castles from different subthemes" last year, but I didn't have the time to build it. Not long ago, I realised that the Yellow Castle will be 40 years old in 2018. I've put the two things together, and created a Lego Ideas project to commemorate this anniversary of the Castle theme. The concept of this MOC is similar to the 4002016 set: recreate some of the iconic castles of the Lego Castle history in smaller size. I've chosen a castle set from each decade from the 1970s to the 2010s and created a little tower that resembles that set. It was built in LDD and rendered in Bluerender. It was the first time I tried Bluerender, and I'm quite satisfied with it, but the texturing of the missing minifig and shield decals was pretty time consuming. You can see more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/149157518@N03/albums/72157680073276641 If you like my MOC, please support it on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/171709

    The Elf-Witch Cottage

The Elf-Witch Cottage In the depths of the enchanted woods, where reality and fantasy meet, an elf-witch has lived since forever. Nobody knows her name or her exact age, maybe 100, maybe 1000 years, but it doesn't matter, she's part of the woods she lives in now. She's always busy with her magic potions and her studies… fascinated by nature's incredible colors and shapes, she keeps on living in her house, away from the rest of the world. I've always been fascinated by nature, by its colors, and by the fantasy universe. In this project I tried to put it all together, using unusual parts and colors that I'd underestimated before. I'm very satisfied with the result. You can look at more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vedosololego/albums/72157682099871646 Or You can support on LEGO Ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/172038 Thank You
