My Chrome Obsession

This is my first post since I'm a new AFOL to Eurobricks. I have been building for just over a year now, my area of interest is cars & machinery, I have exhibited at one show recently in Australia & throughly enjoyed the experience of sharing our hobby.... Thought I would post a couple of my recent builds. A Morgan 3-Wheeler based on the current Brooklands Edition - thanks to Nico71 for the basics. please note this is still in progress - wheels yet to be completed in black chrome. ^ Traditional 1929 Ford Model A-V8 hotrod on 1932 Ford deucerails build circa 1959, featuring fullhouse blown Mercury flathead with open headers, dual exhaust for streetuse, red tuck'n'roll vinyl upholstery, steelwheels painted red, skinny bias ply Firestone tyres up front, Firestone dirtrackers in the rear, Pontiac taillights, chopped windshield, clubplaque hanging from the spreaderbar. ;) ^ Loosly based on this car. ^ I got inspired by the cab-piece that came with the icecreamtruck or RV-camping and canoeingset. I thought that would be the perfect Ford Model A rearend: ^ I build it with a regular red interior, but really want it with ^this^ dark red to give it a more authentic look... I'm just missing a vital piece... And just for fun: ^ Meet Woody. The happy new owner of a hip model A-V8 hotrod. :) ^ Just to compare it with the Charger But to really appreciate this hotrod you've gotta listen to this Jack Baymoore recording: A-V8 Boogie! EDIT!!! I've made some major improvements on the car to capture the typical look of a '69 Charger even better. Hope to find the time to take some pics soon. So stay tuned!!! ...or just some other 69 Charger that looks like the Death Proof musclecar, because the interior is way too nice for Stuntman Mike. ;) ^ Stuntman Mike. Looking cool, waiting for some chicks in a white Challenger...

^ Here's my interpretation of the 1966 Batmobile. As you see the contrasting color is limegreen. That's because of my lack of new bricks in red. Maybe I'll change the green to a dark red in the future, but for now the green is cool enough for me. ;) ^ The car is based on the MonsterFighters Hearse. I used that headlight treatment, minifig placement, and overall build-up as a base and went from there. Made it longer, lower, and added some more Batmobile characteristics. I've tried to make it meaner and leaner, lower and slower. Kind of a hotrod rod/custom attitude. Hope you'll like it. So, there you have it. My first official MOC, in my first official Forum-post. (besides my introduction ;) Feel free to comment and critisise.

^ Here's my version of the Monster Fighters Vampyre Hearse... Although I find the original set extremely cool (It IS the one set that got me into lego again since 25 years) but felt it was a bit too grotesk for me. It now has a lot of modifications like: A bigger but more subtle engine; It's lower; The body is given more mass; a different frontend; a longer wheelbase; exaust in the back (one bad thing about the original car was a poorly connected sidepipe); Chopped top; etc. You'll have to set it next to an original set to really appreciate the modifications. Only bad thing is, It's still too big for my haunted house and the other modular or town buildings...

[MOC] 1923 Model T Hotrod

1923 Model T Ford Hotrod. Started with Lightning McQueens' wheels. Although they were very modern looking extreme wide and lowprofile, they now look like rims sporting whitewalls. Still, the tires are far too wide, but hey, you can't have it all can you... ;-) The build started out yellow but I soon discovered I hadn't nearly enough usable yellow bricks. So instead I used white. And that helps it in being nostalgic/traditional too. I've also used quit a lot of my childhood bricks, including some robust 80's Technic. But enough of the talk. 1932 Ford Hot Rod

Hello everyone! I'm Proud to show my latest MOC. A 1932 Ford Hot Rod, black with red interior. Almost 7 months in the build! I'm very pleased with the results and achieved everything that I wanted to do. My goals were: Tudor style with removable bonnet revealing a detailed engine. Opening doors and boot (trunk) RC Realistic chassis and live axles all round Black Powered by 2 x XL motors, 1 x servo for steering and 1 x PF lights. I used duct tape to make the 5 spoke rims. Black hotrod (8070 B) remote controlled

This black hotrod is a mod of the on 8070b it is remote controlled with XL motor for driving and M motor for steering via a switch in the cabine a choice between doors open or steering can be made. V-LV-52A Here is the latest in my 6 wides. This time I bring you a 32 ford, I may revisit this one for an upscaling or modify this one so that I can include an operational rumble seat.
