  1. Earl of Shrewsbury

The End of the Hundred Years' War

Preparation for the English and French armies at Castillon is underway. The battle took place on 17 June, 1453 and it marked the end of the period known as the Hundred Years' War. The French were lead by an artillery commander Jean Bureau, and the English by yours truly (John Talbot, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury). The armies are incomplete, but this is but a taste of the MOC that is to come. Note the 15th century style custom helmets from Brick Warriors. My goal is to create a battlefield MOC with most of my attention devoted to historical accuracy. Stay tuned for more uploads as the build progresses.

    [MOC] - 1916 Detroit Electric

The 1916 Detroit Electric -------------------------------- Electric Cars are nothing new,in Fact the early Days of the Automobile saw some remarkable alternate Concepts to Fuel burning Engines. The Car Manufacturer Detroit Electric Car Company was specialized in building Cars with with an electric Engine. One of those Cars was the Detroit Electric from 1916 which was also known for being used by Grandma Duck, known from various Carl Barks Comics. My Model started as an old Fabuland Vehicle Base where one of the Tow Hitches was broken off.I used rounded and regular Slopes to get the Shape of the Car right. MOC: The Siege Of Troy

The Trojans have captured Helen, the wife of the King of Sparta. All the Greek Kings made an oath that if Helen ever got captured, they would save her. However, the Greek kings just used this as an excuse to conquer the Trojans. This scene here depicts the attack on Troy before its fall. The Greeks attack the Trojans and try to get over the wall, but the Trojans fought back fiercely. Helen is behind the wall, guarded by her captors.

    Watermill

Hello all, i wanted to build the medieval village what Derfal Cadarn build in this topic of his: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/60907-detailed-guide-to-building-a-medieval-village/ I started to build and soon found out that it is a HUGE project which requires a huge amount of bricks. I do have bricks though but not as many that are used in that project. So i decided to do the landscape first and build the watermill. All is based on his excellent guide so all credits go to him ofcourse. Mind you, its not nearly finished but i managed to build some. Hope you like it and please comment ( but be gentle, this is my first ever build) I used a baseplate of 48 x 48, laid the foundation and started to build away.

    MOC: Hall of Medusa

The mythical battle of Perseus and Medusa, in her temple of exile. I tried to make it look as if the temple was worn down by earthquakes; there are rocks that have fallen on the roof as if from an avalanche, some tiles are on levels elevated above others, and the magma pit, which was inspired by Clash of the Titans (2010) I tried to make the statues as realistically frozen as i could, in battle or in cowardice. I was thrilled a while back when the Lord of the Rings sets came out with Greek-shaped swords, so that i would eventually be able to make something along these lines. This is my first actual MOC post; if anyone has suggestions on where to get professional photoshop, i already know how to use it to fix up lighting Any thoughts and suggestions are very welcome
  8. Hi all, Here is my contribution to a collaboration we did for our most recent train show. It's supposed to be an occupied French chateau which is under a raid from the Americans. The mountain was a massive pain to build, especially with the train tunnel running underneath. I also have an access point at the back to handle derails. My hat is off to any of you who've built realistic, good looking mountains - it's tough! Enjoy: German occupied French chateau as my part of a WWII collaboration layout at our most recent train show. by Trent, on Flickr More pics in the Sask Lego User's Group Flickr stream (https://www.flickr.com/photos/sasklegousersgroup/25335450303/in/pool-1719412@N23/)

Made this recently. This Vignette has been on my list for a while. I might switch out the 1x2 plates with the masonry bricks and see how that looks. https://www.flickr.com/photos/legoman19892/albums/72157666621251464

    [MOC] Invoke the Gods

Hello guys, this is my latest moc for a greek contest (fantasy - epic theme). Tell me your opinion and thoughts about it! This is my first big Moc, so.. be gentle! Tnk you and enjoy it! __________________________________________________________________________________ “Invoke the gods” (ask the help of the gods) “Χρῲ τοις Θεοίς..” (Νa επικaλείσaι τους θεούς.) Solon (Greek: Σόλων; c. 638 – c. 558 BC) In Greek mythology, Poseidon is the god of the land and the sea, rivers, sources and drinking water .. With his trident could both create rough seas and calm waters.. His symbols were the trident, fish and occasionally the horse or the bull.. According to legend.. the Poseidon seduced Medusa in the temple of Athena.. the goddess was so furious with it.. so she transformed Medusa into monster.. The ugliness was such.. that whoever looked at her face.. turned into stone .. Medusa wanted to revenge Poseidon now.. so she kills the priestesses and the soldiers who guard the temple .. Their only hope now is to seek the help of the gods.. But to be heard by the gods, they need a sacrifice.. Hermes.. the messenger of the Gods, is there and waiting to hear the invocation to the gods and to carry the message ..

    Italian Locomotive Class E326

Hi train lovers. I open this topic to present to You and promote my Italian locomotive E326. Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr More than one year ago I launched it on Lego Ideas (here is the link if You want to support the project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/134535) as a digital project. It ends its first year with 279 supports. Bad result. But during this year I was ordering the parts from Bricklink to build the locomotive. So I decided to relaunch the project. It takes 252 supports in 15 days. A better start. I build it with some changes because some parts are very difficult to find and some don't exist in the colors that I need. And yes, I've Painted the Windows because I want this type on the locomotive. Lego Ideas allows submitting existing parts in new colors. I normally don't paint Lego. (And this is an opportunity to have them in reddish brown) My english is not good, so here are some photos.. Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr The locomotive is made with 670 parts. It runs good on curves, but it's not motorized. I know I'm a beginner with trains and surely not an expert like the most on this forum, but I've try to do my best here. And I know Ideas probably will never produce a locomotive, but many supports can encourage Lego to produce new locomotives. You can see complete photo gallery here https://www.flickr.c...s/vedosololego/ I hope You like and support this and my other projects on Ideas. Thanks

  14. 'My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know.' -The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle Hello and thank you very much for checking out this post! Make sure to support our latest project on Lego Ideas! This project depicts the iconic entrance of Baker Street 221B as well as a Hansom cab with driver and three minifigs. A victorian police constable, Homes' assistant John Hamish Watson with his revolver and the master himself Sherlock Homes with his iconic deerstalker hat and a magnifying glass. This project is not based on any Sherlock Holmes movie or TV series but the original stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and with less than 400 bricks it would make a fantastic Lego Ideas set. Now it's up to you. I've you're a Sherlock Holmes fan make sure to hit the support button and spread the word. Also make sure to leave a comment if you have any suggestions. Thanks a lot to my fellow collaborator gabriele.zannotti for making the beautiful pictures of the model. On flickr you can have a look at his other masterpieces! Thank you for your attention. This is a collaboration between gabriele.zannotti and saabfan.
