MOC: Darth Bender I've been working on this for a couple of days and went through eight different variations for the 'eye-box' - ranging from designs including wheel arches, cheese slopes, SNOT- and not SNOT, six wide and five wide. In the end I went back to version 5. Comments and ridicule most welcome and there's more stuff and nonsense on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/eurotrash48903/

disclaimer: I do not have any licence for any Matt Groening original work. I only created LEGO Bender for fun and for free. Its LEGO interpretation and LEGO design is my own. info: Bender's Wiki ______________________________________ Hi, I am Bender, I bend girders, I can bend them into any angle. 45 degrees, 30 degrees, you name it... I also want to kill all humans, I smoke, I drink, I steal. This is how I look: As you can see I am not just some stupid bottom to top robot, I am a SNOT robot: And I can move, thanks to softaxles, magnets, pins, balls and sockets: My front door opens, so I can hide all I steal. Look at that nice pile of money I stole: I am getting sick of you humans, with your organs and soft skins. I will have a drink of my beer: Oh, somebody ripped my hand of. But it can be easily attached back: And if you do not like me, you can bite my shiny metal.....oh...you can't, it is plastic: ______________________________________ Video: Instructions (free) (PDF computer generated) will be on Rebrickable (link available when MOC approved on Rebrickable): preview: EDIT: Instructions available Rebrickable - BENDER

After the release of the Simpsons house and the first Simpsons-Minifigure-Series last year, I thought that it would be cool to have some Futurama-themed LEGO sets/figures as well. So I designed a Bender-Minifigure. I had to adjust some of the parts to fit the LEGO-pieces (like lifting the foot-pieces, upscale the hands and fingers, etc.). Most parts are ment to be made out of "normal" plastic (ABS). The legs, arms, fingers and the antenna should be made out of semi-hard rubber (like some of the tooth/horn pieces).

Good news, everyone! I have finally completed my entry for the Micro Sci-Fi Contest! I couldn't pass up on participating in this great Sci-Fi month, and what's more sci-fi than Futurama! And so, I present to you my microscale recreation of the Planet Express building and ship! Planet Express by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here you can see the Planet Express ship coming in for a landing, having returned from yet another whacky adventure! Meanwhile, Bender is having a conversation with Calculon in front of the building as a Slurm delivery truck drives by. Planet Express by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I tried incorporating as many details as I could at this small scale, such as the vents in the back, all the pipes on the sides of the building, and the Angry Dome on top of the hangar (the place where the Professor goes when he is angry). Planet Express by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Click here to see one of the reference images I used. You can see more views in my photostream. Comments and criticisms welcome. I hope you like it, and good luck in the contest everyone! Oh, and bite my shiny plastic @$$!
