  1. This is where Farran keeps his crazy botanical experiments. He cares for and nurtures all of his plants, even when they try to kill him. It's a greenhouse, so the ceiling is a bit low and the entrance a bit narrow. I adapted it from Berry's kitchen. BTW, I love the Berry figure, it's super cute and probably the closest thing I'll ever get to a Lego chinchilla. I hope they make more Palace Pets, the sets are small and cheap and make excellent parts packs for Elves MOCing, and the figures are adorable (except Treasure, they got the colors completely wrong). I hope they make Lily and Sultan, too. <3
  2. The Eagle at the Great Wall of Hesperia A build for the Alliance in Book II, Challenge V, Category A "We have to make all speed, Aeriglaaac, to get this message to King Fingolë the Golden," said Celdrian the Eagle Rider. "The eastern elves were very particular about making haste. The heir to Cedrica returning will be news welcome to his ears, I think, even if the humans of Avalonia and all of Historica are hardly his concern. Lord Ravaage certainly is his concern, though." "EEAAAAAK!" "You're right, Aeriglaaac, as usual. It would be fun to buzz the tower over at the peak of Oronech, wouldn't it? I love keeping those guards on their toes." "EEAAAAAAAAAAAK RAAAAK!" "You see Prince Fingalad at the tower with your eagle eyes? Excellent, a chance to show off our flying skills!" "EAAAK EEEAAAAAAK EEEEEEK!" "Ok, alright, your flying skills, then." "EEAAAAK!" "Let's go!" "What the..." said Prince Fingalad. "Eagle Riders. Cocky bunch. How I despise them, however useful they may be." More pictures: _____________________________________________________________________ .......................................................................................................................................... Thanks for looking! C&C welcome. Hopefully the overhang is not unreasonable. The base of the build is 248 studs, slightly smaller than the 256 of a 16x16 base, though the decorative border adds to that (but doesn't count, thankfully).
  3. Evening Falls Like a Vulture's Wing A build for the Spire in Book II, Challenge V, Category A As the sun set below the horizon, Ellardin the elf messenger slumped back against the rock. His body was afire with pain every time he moved, as the spear points and arrows lodged in him dug a little deeper into his vitals, and it would not be long now. A rustling behind his ear caused him to look up. A black vulture was perched on the rock inches from his face, its eyes looking hungrily from its red bald head. Ellardin looked away and sighed. His bloody fingers clutched the letter to King Fingolë the Golden, knowing that it would never make it to its destination; those drow huntsmen had made sure of that. More vultures circled and landed around Harafel, his horse, as the light dimmed. The sound of beaks tearing at the soft innards caused the elf to shudder, which in turn caused him to cry out softly in pain as the points worked inwards. The evening was falling quickly now, and the vultures were coming in thickly. Darkness had come. More pictures: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- .............................................................................................................................. Thanks for looking, and C&C welcome. Gideon's vulture design was the inspiration for this build, so a big shout out to him for being inspirational.
  4. Hello! I've got some new sets and rebuilded my little kingdom :) Here's two houses - one is something like magic workshop with crystal wall and tea room on second floor and another is special place for witchcraft with cauldron, tree, little wooden bridge and small room below decorated with weapons. You may see some details are based on Ninjago Master Wu Dragon set - there's amazing dragon! For me that's best Ninjago set. Yeah, I think elves may like katanas! At least, it's just beautiful. The goal was to make good color combinations according to Elves series idea - with little crazy sparkling color strikes everywhere. I absolutely like unusual, bright and rainbow-like color schemes! So I've tried two. Magenta and orange-yellow are too strong colors - I think they dominate good among dark and saturated warm colors. Every castle has it's secret: After building houses there left a lot of that bricks, and ah, those evil black horns! So here's wagon of Dragon's Bakery :) All view: Thanks for watching! And please, exuse me for my bad english :(
  5. Hello fellow elves, orcs, hobbits and humans, this creation comes directly from the second Hobbit movie: The Halls of Thranduil While watching the movie for the first time the capital of the Woodland Realm already caught my attention and with the first Comic Con in Stuttgart, Germany, last year I had the perfect chance to build and show my version. I had a few challenges to deal with while building, but I'm pretty happy how it turned out. One was the sheer size of the original halls. My layout is already quite big, but to fit in all elements, I had to scale down a lot. Next to the inside I built the outside of the halls with a few trees to indicate the location of the halls in the Mirkwood Forest. I hope you like it. For higher resolutions of all pictures check them out on Flickr. Jonas
  6. The Chronicles of Hesperia Vol. 1: The Sky Man Ch. 2: The Crash Site The previous chapter: DISCLAIMER: For those of you who may be extreme GoH purists, the following build may be disturbing, as it does contain some Sci-Fi elements. To ease your concern, however, let me assure you that after this chapter those elements are gone and a pure medieval fantasy vibe is all that will remain. The unwholesome elements are my way of introducing a character that I had been using for many years in builds with friends, in a different galaxy, far, far away... [edit: Druidic magic is behind these events and causes the non-Historican elements of them to be erased from the memories of the participants after they happen, so do not be concerned that they will be entering into Historica on a full-time basis; such 'pollution' is not, and never was, my intention.] Galaria peeked through the trees and bushes at the sight before her. Her wolfsteed, Laika, she had left back in a small meadow with the wolfsteeds of her fellow Hesperian Wolf Rangers, so that they could approach closer without being seen. Some of her rangers climbed trees for a better vantage point on the smouldering mass in the clearing. The fireball had landed in the center of an ancient ring of druid standing stones, erected long years before the first elves had come this far west in the world. The druids themselves were gone for many centuries before Galaria's father, Fingolë the Golden, first established the kingdom of Hesperia, and that was an age ago in the land of sunset. The smoking hulk did not look like any meteorite that Galaria had ever seen before nor like any she had heard tell of; if she were not certain that it could not be true, she would have said that it looked like metal, a giant steel cylinder that fell from the sky. As she watched, a panel on the side opened, revealing a brief glimpse of the interior as a man stepped out. The man was clad in tan robes and wore a brown cloak over them, and carried in his hand a metal tube that vaguely resembled the hilt of a sword, though no blade was attached. His tousled, wavy brown hair framed a handsome face with a roguish grin. His eyes moved over the landscape swiftly and Galaria shrank back into the bushes instinctively. Soon the man was fully out of the sky-cylinder, and another, also clad in tan robes and brown cloak, carrying the same type of metal tube followed, and then came a small army of helmeted and armored figures carrying some sort of black thing in their hands, held almost like she had seen a crossbowman hold his weapon during a marksmanship contest two summers before. Weapons of some sort. With the exception of two of them, the armored figures were clad in greens and browns, camouflaged for thick forests. They quickly made a defensive perimeter around the sky-cylinder. The two cloaked figures examined one of the druid columns, together with one of the white-and-green clad figures. Galaria could hear their voices talking in a strange tongue, one not spoken in Historica, at least not by elves, dwarves, men, orcs, drow, or any of the tribes of Nocturnus that she knew of. The other white-and-green figure came over, and both armored ones took off their helmets, revealing a brown-haired man and a golden-haired woman. The woman clearly thought that they ought to move away from the crash site, by her hand gestures, and followed that up by stepping past the Druid column. To Galaria's amazement, her clothing and gear changed the instant she passed the standing stone, looking like a typical human warrior woman with a bow and quiver. The armored man, amazement on his face, also stepped past and underwent a similar transformation. "That was incredible," the man said in perfect Hesperian Elvish. "I cannot believe what just happened, Thorra; can you?" "No, Gree, I cannot," replied the woman in equally excellent Hesperian. "Henjin, Bu'kanjin, you two step across now and see what happens." The robed-and-cloaked men also stepped through and were transformed, the one called Henjin now wearing ancient druidic armor and Bu'kanjin wearing a different style of the same. The others wearing armor gathered around the edge of the stones and began to take off their helmets, revealing more men, of colors more familiar to Kaliphlin traders than Avalonian forestmen. Suddenly one of Galaria's Rangers, Ankeria, stood up and drew back her bow, letting an arrow fly. In the blink of the same moment, the man called Henjin caught the arrow that was aimed for his heart in his hand and Bu'kanjin fired an arrow of his own, piercing Ankeria in the neck and killing her instantly. The humans were on high alert with arrows nocked on taut bowstrings, with more of them stepping across the stones and transforming all the time. Galaria's small band was vastly outnumbered and, by the signs of it, outmatched in skill. She stepped out from behind the foliage she was using as cover, right in front of the Henjin, the Sky-Man, and said, "Put down your weapons, we mean you no harm." Henjin smiled at her and she felt her fate entwine with his as his voice spoke to her. "Greetings, we are strangers here in this land. My name is Henjin Quilones, son of Henjin Quilones, and this is my brother, Bu'kanjin. We have journeyed far across the heavens, called here to this land by the Force." Galaria nodded. "And I am Galaria, daughter of Fingolë the Golden, the king of Hesperia. If you have been called here, it was not by us, but perhaps by the power of the druids in whose circle of stones you landed and whose armor you bear. There is an ancient prophecy that said that the true king of Historica, the great and vast land of which Hesperia is but a tiny part, would arise, after a star fell from the heavens, to battle and defeat the dark scourge of the land. Are you he?" asked the elf maiden. Henjin shook his head. "No, I know nothing of your prophecies, and I am no king. A humble Knight am I, not yet even a Master. But I shall gladly join you and your father the king in the battle against that dark scourge. My sword and bow are at your disposal." "And mine," said Bu'kanjin. "Thank you both," said Galaria. "Now, you had better follow me away from the stone ring, called Stangraf by the Druids, O Knights of Stangraf, before any orc or drow patrols come and investigate. I shall take you to Istolia, the city where my cousin governs." "Very well," said Henjin Quilones, the newly dubbed Knight of Stangraf, and he and his companions followed the fair elf maiden into the eaves of the forest. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Thanks for looking and reading! It has been a long time since my last Hesperian build, but much has happened between then and now (moving twice, starting a new job, etc.) so it is good to be back building in the Guilds again, C&C welcome!

  8. This is my take on the 41174 Starlight Inn set that I picked up a few weeks ago. I'm normally not a big fan of sets and usually only sees them as parts pack but I liked the idea of this one. However, I didn't really like the use of some colours and wanted to use them more realistically, e.g. only green plants and leaves and keep the purple and pink for the interior. The structure is made to reflect the set with a kitchen and sitting room at the ground floor, and a bedroom and a balcony with a telescope on the upper floor, as well as the rounded window. No thought has been given to how this would go with whatever stories goes on at the Elves tv show, comics, books or whatever, I don't care about them at all. This is just my try to make a better inn that could go with the Elves minidolls. Thanks for watching! /Etzel

  11. It's not often you get mini-doll rants by a mini-doll fan but I wrote one on Brickipedia: http://en.brickimedia.org/wiki/User_blog:Soupperson1/A_mini-doll_rant_by_a_mini-doll_fan I'd really like to hear your thoughts about how mini-dolls are spread out amongst sets either here or there. It be great to hear other people's opinions! (I assume this is the right place to put it as mini-dolls are now in different themes)

  13. Hi all, just wanted to share a moc me and my daughter have been building. She makes all the design decisions (she's 6) and I just have to build them! We've just moved house and all my Lego is still packed away, so we've only got hers to play with. It means we've had to compromise a lot, but it's made us much more creative!
  14. So, After having done my microfighter Hoth scene which went down quite well, I decided to do an Endor one. In a conversation that followed, I jokingly said I should do one with a Friends twist, and call it 'Friendor'. I wanted to create something that would, when on display, give girls something to enjoy looking at rather than something that could typically be perceived as what a male would normally enjoy. However my job position has taken a turn which means I won't be able to do anything to do with lego (or pretty much anything) for the next year, and so thought I would share this little start of it with you guys as I've no idea if I will manage to get round to it after I come back. So, I had planned to do a microfighter imperial shuttle. When I saw the Elves dragons the idea instantly popped into my head to crossover the dragon and imperial shuttle. This is what I came up with... I think you can probably see the slight nod to the shuttle The dragon could stand on its own 2 feet without the 2x2 boat stud on the bottom, but the 2x2 curved tile kept coming off as it has a weak clutch strength. So figured I would just use the boat stud, and have the tail help with stability while it is standing on its feet. In flight mode, it looks pretty good on a stand. It is generally a pretty sturdy build too. My only real issue i had with this was how to get a minidoll to sit in it infront of the main fin. This was the best solution I could come up with... I'm also not entirely satisfied with how the top of the main fin has turned out, but can't dedicate anymore money into this at the moment (surprising how expensive these colourful parts are!)More pics of it on my flickr. C&C welcome. Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr
  15. I bought some pegasus wings from the Elves range (these pieces: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=20313&idColor=95#T=C&C=95 and http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=20312&idColor=95#T=C&C=95 ) on Bricklink. They're genuine LEGO pieces but I found that the bar along the side of the wing is too thick and can't be held by regular LEGO system clips. The wings don't stay in place. The slightest movement or contact and they just pop out. Is this a known issue or are they supposed to be that way?

    Elf Lion Chariot

"I have seen the future and the future is green!" A wise elf augurs as she gazes into the faces of her allies and wonders. "Do we have anything that can answer this nefarious threat?" Silence. No one wants to catch her eye. Those that do, cannot hold her gaze. "But what of the Sky Reamer, my lady?" A voice from behind the group eventually calls out. A murmur of voices, a turning of heads, and a young Elf with hard eyes steps forward. "Let us attack them from the clouds. Let my Sky Hunters rain death from above... Please?" She pauses a moment, before turning towards the stone again. "Let me see, Kinsman. And let me think." For what seemed an age she stared into nothingness before pointing back across the group, uttering a single word in reply. "Go." That was less than an hour ago. Now the young Elf finds it is he who is lost in thought. It is a good job his dutiful beast knows the way to the Sky Hunters home better than he does. For years the Sky Reamer project was nothing but a dream. He lost count of the times he was told that it would never work. That the Giant Eagles wouldn't want any part of it. But now, they needed him. They needed his team. They needed him to be ready, But was he? A low growl brings him back to the present; The majestically beautiful white lion, telling him of their journey's end. "Nearly home, Princess," he calls out in return, "Nearly home." https://ideas.lego.com/projects/136303 and 2016 Digital Design Contest physical version :D
  17. More pictures of the story available via flickr and all good retail outlets "So the Almater finally sees sense in that pretty little head of hers and decides to let the Sky Hunters loose, eh Dawn Weaver?" shouts the red-haired elf, wind streaming through her hair, as she calls down to the pensive looking elf at the head of the Sky Reamer. The young kinsman's face broke in to a wry smile, and he calls back over his shoulder, still keeping his face looking into the clouds, eyes straining as he scans the area ahead. "You really should show the Almater more respect, kinswoman. You never know, you may become one some day!" The red-haired elf roared with laughter. "I shouldn't think so, Weaver. I won't live that long... I love the fight too much! Speaking of which, where are they? Can you see them yet?" A shake of Dawn Weaver's head and she turns her attention to the elf behind her. "See anything through that spyglass of yours? "No, not with this low cloud type that we seem to have around us. But this isn't a normal cloud formation, there is some unnatural magiks at play." The dark-haired elf lowers his seeing scope. "They know we're coming... we must be careful. I have a bad feeling about this." A look of concern flashes across the she-elf's face. "Then I say we land, Weaver", she shouts. "Now!" "Understood my Lady," the young Elf replies before calling out to the majestic birds connected to the Sky Reamer by a harness and a large chain. "Take us down my friends, quickly please." The giant Eagles cry out in unison, a response to show that they have understood and the craft begins to descend through the clouds. "Crew, prepare crossbows," Dawn Weaver commands as the Reamer prepares to land. The two of them hurriedly start unfastening the catches around their weapons. "Contact!" he shouts, opening the front section as the Eagles alight gracefully. "Right my Lady, we're here," he says, brandishing his spear. "Your orders?" "Same as they ever were, Weaver," she says with another smile. "Let's hunt some Orc!" Meanwhile, not far away... "So Spike... woz we doing here then eh? "We'ez waitin' innit Grungorth... for da pointies! "Da pointies, Spike?" "Das right Grungorth... Da Boss ses dey'r coming dis way wiv some big thing in da sky!" "So das why we gots a shoota Spike?" "Yur Grungorth... Da Boss ses if we sees anywuns we don't like... den we shoot em!" "And yous can fire dis thing then can ya Spike? "You betcha Grungorth... spent all last week shooting at snotty little Gobbos. Great fun! Now shut up Spike and listen out for them. We can't see nuffink in dis stoopid fog dat da Gobbo Wizbang has magiked up. But I just know dat dey're coming soon... I can smell em!" ---------------------------------------- If there's anything about this that you like then I would love it if you would take the time to click and support! ideas.lego.com/projects/134366 Please help inspire TLG and the Lego community to release more castle / medieval / fantasy themed sets! Thank you :D
  18. This is the real dragons school of Elvendale as in the cartoon ! I work this, with the lego digital designer. Because the official LEGO® 41173 it's not the same and very too small. Do you like it ?
  19. Hi All, This is a small build I did for a LUG build competition. The competition was to do a 16x16 build with crossed themes. This is the first build I've done using the Elves figs (I've got some sets for the parts). Thanks
  20. Hello, this is my review of the new LEGO Elves set "Dragon's Lava Cave". (41175) This is a cool little play set, and: We have another dragon, now. Have a nice weekend Andres
  21. SPOILER WARNING FOR UNITE THE MAGIC Now that's out of the way... I recently got Skyra's Castle on sale and started putting it together today and noticed on the sticker a picture of who I assume is Emily's Grandmother as an Elf with Skyra (the two were friends afterall) This got me thinking about making a custom figure of Emily's Grandmother and/or seeing if anyone else has had the same idea. Thus far the only minidolls I have are the ones from the Elves sets so I would need to Brick-Link the parts and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions? I have attached a cropped version of the sticker below. So far I figure I can probably just use Emily's head and possibly torso as it has the pendant on it (perhaps the 2016 Torso will work better as it doesn't have the stripes), though possibly replacing the arms as from the picture it seems the Grandmother Elf is wearing a top with long sleeves. I'm sure there's a leg piece suitable from Friends or Elves but the biggest issue I can see is her hair. I've no idea if there is a suitable hairpiece and I'm guessing I would need to try and add ears myself using modelling putty? Anyway sorry that became a bit of me thinking out loud heehee but as I say any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I'll update this post when/if I make progress on this project :) ~ Xaran Edit: Hmm I guess http://brickset.com/parts/4621315 could work as a purist solution for the hair, though it's red rather than brown (like Emily's hair) but it's a dark red which isn't a million miles away from brown... of course it would still need ears. Now idealy to get the massive ponytail thing going on from the pic some combination of a hairpiece with the piece use for Macy's plume (from Nexo Knights) would work nicely :D

    [WIP] Elven Army

I've been working on building up an army of elves, using Elrond from the Witch-King Battle set, and some slightly customized helmets from the Atlantis theme. I think they look pretty solid form-wise, but haven't painted them yet, so they're clearly in-progress. Even in their not-done state, I think the effect of a dozen of them together is pretty cool, so I wanted to share/get feedback. It might be a better question for the Minifig customization forum, but does anyone know a good paint to get close to pearl gold? Need to track that down to finish these :) Untitled by bricklearth, on Flickr by bricklearth, on Flickr by bricklearth, on Flickr

    Gender in LEGO Themes

Disclaimer: This is not an attempt to say that LEGO does not produce any gender neutral themes. Architecture and Creator are consistently gender neutral. City and Collectible Minifigures are largely gender neutral. Such themes exist. More themes should be as inclusive. Question: What do you think of the way LEGO markets their non-licensed themes to boys and girls? My answer: I don't like it. I think they are focusing too much on targeting girls and boys individually, rather than producing more gender neutral themes. My example: 2 LEGO themes in the past 2 years that serve as 2 sides of the same coin. Take the concept of Medieval Fantasy. Let's market "fantasy" to girls. We'll have cutesy woodland creatures with pretty designs on their faces, a bakery, a school, a pretty pegasus, and lots of bright pink and lavender colors. It will feature friendship and nature, and the characters will all be Elves. We'll use minidolls instead of minifigures. We'll call it "Elves." Let's market "fantasy" to boys. We'll have scary wacky lava monsters with a creepy goofy jester, oversized weapons, a castle that's a tank, a robot horse, and lots of transparent neon red orange and baby blue colors. It will feature combat and technology, and the characters will all be Knights. We'll use large figures and various monsters. We'll call it "Nexo Knights." Personally, I think that both are successful ideas within those narrow markets. I don't think LEGO would have made such sets if they hadn't done extensive market research on young girls (in the case of Elves) and young boys (in the case of Nexo Knights). But how many young girls would like Nexo Knights? How many young boys would like Elves? Did they have both genders in their focus groups? There are lots of kids (and teens, and adults) who prefer gender neutral ideas. By splitting the concept of medieval fantasy into two diametrically opposed versions, each catering to a traditional gender role, they have lost anything that lies between. Things feel like they've been pushed in either direction, leaving very little overlap. I would like to see LEGO create a new theme with sets that capture the best of the above, engaging both girls and boys at the same time. It could be a "fantasy" theme that lies between the Elves and Nexo Knights themes. So let's have woodland creatures and lava monsters, let's have Knights and Elves, all in one theme. Let's have Castles that aren't built with a single gender in mind, and let's have a good variety of colors that can appeal to a wide base of fans. I think that would be great, and I'm sure there are many others around the world who would love it as well. Another Example: I have young nieces within the age range of most LEGO products. The oldest niece is around 9, and was talking about how much she liked the cool ninjas in Ninjago sets. She specifically talked about how much she liked the Temple of Airjitzu. Then, she looked a bit sad and said "but it's for boys." I don't think that LEGO should really be for boys or girls, it should be for boys and girls. I wish my niece, and other girls like her, didn't feel compelled to avoid what they see as sets 'for boys' and gravitate towards sets 'for girls.' Boy sets have lots of weapons, ninjas, and knights, while girl sets have juice bars, malls, and hotels. In marketing and advertising, only girls are ever seen playing with Friends sets, while only boys are ever playing with Ninjago. It would be great to show girls playing with the ninja sets as well, and to help that, maybe there should be more female characters in those sets. And the same could be said about boys and sets like the recording studio. There is a definite disparity in gender throughout the LEGO catalog. In sets geared towards boys, there are very few girls, and they are usually some sort of nobility, or peripheral and unimportant. Even when there is a female knight, she is a princess, and the only female on the team. In sets geared towards girls, there are very few boys, and they are usually fathers or romantic interests. Even when there is a male friend, he is focused on paying attention to the female characters as a photographer, worker, or nurturer. Also, the Collectible Minifigures (arguably one of the better themes in this regard) always have a skewed gender ratio that favors males over females. I feel that their current marketing teaches a negative lesson to young children about gender norms and stereotypes. I appreciate what they are trying to do in drawing in more female fans, but I feel that they are going too far in the opposite direction with their female themes. It would have been better to incorporate female characters and sensibilities into the themes they already had in order to cultivate more positive gender relations and images. More questions: Can you think of other instances where LEGO has targeted a specific gender, and if so, how do you think it has had an impact (either positive or negative)? Obviously Friends is made specifically for girls, which introduced the minidoll seen in Disney Pricesses and Elves. Do you think that this approach is a good one? While targeting boys and girls specifically may be good for LEGO as a business, is it good for fostering positive gender images, or does it just reinforce the status quo of gender norms? Do you feel that LEGO has any kind of social responsibility in this area as the world's largest manufacturer of children's toys? Do you think that girls should be relegated to doing 'girly' things, and that boys should be relegated to doing 'boyish' things? Do you think I'm making a big deal out of nothing? Anyways, I thought this might make for an interesting discussion. I don't think that anything said here will change the way LEGO does business, as they seem perfectly happy with their current approach, and they aren't likely to take the opinions of some AFOL's to heart. I hope I've expressed myself the way I had intended, and that I haven't rambled on and lost the attention of the readers. I just had some thoughts about this, and wanted to hear some of yours.

    Heart Grove

Hello guys, I have not been very active in the GoH over the last year after the "Age of Mitgardia - Military" contest. Now I have managed to build something that would fit for GoH again and I hope that more will follow in the future. Though I am in the guilds of Mitgardia, I hope I am allowed to post a creation that is more Avalonia-based. "The Heart Grove is an ancient place where the Elves of the woods worship the gods of nature. Heart Grove by Jonas O., auf Flickr I hope you like it! C&C welcome!
  25. Many Moons Ago... The creature awakes in pain. He opens his eyes, and sees a foreboding sight... His hand, chained to a pillar. He whips his head around, and sees that his other hand, and indeed all of his limbs, were chained down. He struggles, the chains budging, but not breaking. The ground beneath him rumbles and quakes, the tremors filling the trapped beast with dread. The urgency sets in, and the creature struggles more. It tries to gnaw through its binds, but it was to no avail. It tries to stand up, but feels shooting pain through his back as he draws to full height - a sword was lodged in his back. With the catacombs sinking around him, death looming, a single syllable escapes from the dragon's mouth... "FAUST." Present Day... Five heroes exit the hall, the afternoon sun dangling above the group. As per the instructions of their regal client, they head towards the docks, the smell of brine and fish drifting through the air. Careful to avoid confrontation with some of Eubric's seedier citziens, they make their way through the bustling city, eventually finding their client: Faust, king of Moone. "You're here." says Sandman, checking to make sure his handcannon was loaded. "And not a second too soon. You're all here, yes?" The king casts a discerning glance towards the group of five, waiting for them to confirm they were there. Those five heroes were...
