    Kijani the Earth Dragon

Kijani the Earth Dragon Next Elemental Dragon > When Henjin Quilones and Galaria the Exiled Elf went to the Land of Mwamba, they stayed in the city of Bandari for a while, but eventually they traveled out to see the lands beyond the city. There they met the Lady Maua and her earth dragon, Kijani. The dragons of Mwamba are divided into four categories: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. They serve as the guardians and protectors of each of their respective elements. The Earth of the rolling hills and plains is the special province of Kijani and Maua. ____________________________________________________________________ ........................................................................................................................................ The Elf-Witch Cottage

The Elf-Witch Cottage In the depths of the enchanted woods, where reality and fantasy meet, an elf-witch has lived since forever. Nobody knows her name or her exact age, maybe 100, maybe 1000 years, but it doesn't matter, she's part of the woods she lives in now. She's always busy with her magic potions and her studies… fascinated by nature's incredible colors and shapes, she keeps on living in her house, away from the rest of the world. I've always been fascinated by nature, by its colors, and by the fantasy universe. In this project I tried to put it all together, using unusual parts and colors that I'd underestimated before. I'm very satisfied with the result. You can look at more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vedosololego/albums/72157682099871646 Or You can support on LEGO Ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/172038 Thank You

  7. On a desolate snowy landscape an elf scout clad in bright mail is doing a patrol with his loyal husky companion. A closer look shows that this is a snow elf by his orange hair which is different than wood elves (whose hair is normally a brownish color), silver armor and irregular weaponry. Snow elves are the most the "Viking" like of the elves located on the aisle of Solitude. They don't wear the silly horned helmets or use any axes (all elves dislike axes), but they have been known to slip into a berserker rage and they love the thrill of battle. The snow elves also love sailing and are amazing ship makers. These snow elves have a governmental structure where the Council of Jarls (clan leaders) elect the Csarjarl who is the overall leader of the snow elf race. The Jarls also serve as war leaders. The snow elves worship the Nordic gods. There is no set uniform for the snow elf warriors and most warriors supply their own weapons and armor. That particular snow elf you're seeing is Feanor. Unlike most snow else he uses more reason and is less hot-headed. Feanor is a scout for Jarl Enradae and is doing a routine patrol. As usual his dog didn't say anything. Suddenly Feanor stopped, ears pricked and sword drawn. A low hissing sound is heard through the silent mountainside. Feanor strains his eyes and sees a red glow coming from a cave in the distance. He goes to investigate. (Inside the cave) An imposing dark figure identifiable as Lord Ravage is flanked by two of his same race as bodyguards facing a tall robed figure with a staff. The robed figure is flanked by one of his own race and two heavily armored serpentine-like creatures one of whom looks familiar. Lord Ravage (angrily) "Why did you bring me here wretch?" The robed figure (calmly) "To show you something." Lord Ravage advances threateningly. Lord Ravage (angrily) "Don't want my time!" The robed figure (still calmly) "Nice to meet you Lord Ravage, my people simply call me 'The Sorcerer', but you can call me Fred." Lord Ravage shakes with anger while Feanor watches with interest and increasing alarm. 'Fred' (with amusement) "So Ravage, do you want me to show you an unstoppable army to take over Historica with or would you rather attack me?" That catches Ravage's attention. Ravage almost attacks Fred but decides not to and manages to put his rage in check. Lord Ravage (with an eerie air of calm) "Very well then 'Fred' show me this 'army'." Fred gestures to the back of the cave where a multitude of chariots and a whole lot of snakes are located. Some of the snakes are opening eggs where their kindred are being stored. One of the snakes is forming and in the background there is a chariot. "This army" Feanor ran back to the Local Jarl's castle with urgent news of an invading army led by Fred. A bonus View of the chariot. The bad guys and their bodyguards. Thanks for looking. C and C welcome.

    Elf Battle Chariot

The Elf Battle Chariot - gift to the Forest Elves from their High born cousins - designed to both transport important leaders speedily across the battlefield and to add a bit more punch to their light cavalry. Often encountered when they are found fighting outside of the forests, it is very much the centre piece of their army and a rallying point for their kin. No Elven battle force of note is ever found without at least one in their ranks. And rumour has it that some of the more noble born elves are even using the same chariot frame to be pulled into battle by a mythical white lion! What it looks like at home - High Elf Chariot with pure thoroughbreds and dark green caparisons, crewed by Wood Elves and a High Elf Envoy Above and below show example of range of movement and articulation. Chariot pivots 180 degrees around horizontal (ie: hard left and hard right turns) as well as horses can rear up as well. If any of this takes your fancy in any way I would be grateful for your support at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/128555 Yes I know I only had the orc war boar approved the other day but I had no idea this one would be accepted in around 12 hours! (Especially since my first 3 projects were rejected) Much love D

    [MOC] Winter in the Woods

Hi guys! For your consideration, I've created a set I'm calling "Winter in the Woods", and put it up on LEGO Ideas. It's modeled in a similar fashion to the Winter Village series, albeit with a little more focus on the environment than the building. It's still chock full of charm, humor, and unique building techniques. If it tickles your fancy, I'd love to have your support on Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/131627 More images can be found on my flickr page: https://www.flickr.c...otos/needslego/ Thanks for checking it out. I look forward to your feedback. K
  15. Hello! This is my first MOC, created a few months ago using LDD. The idea is an adventuring party has set up camp for the night, and while the members make their preparations for the journey ahead, the bard plays by the fire to entertain them. I hope to build this scene "in the brick" one day, and I know there are several things I want to change already. But what I'd love is to hear from some of the expert MOCers here on ideas to improve. Please, feel free to rip it to shreds - you can't hurt my feelings. I'm just looking for ways to improve my skills. Thanks in advance everyone! [MOC] Elvin Manor

Hello, everyone, here is my most recent MOC which I will be adding to the CCC XII. A clan of elves live in a beautiful manor protected by the natural surrounding mountains and cliffs. They are currently being confronted by members of a friendly clan to settle a dispute. More pictures on my Brickshelf page.

    MOC - Elf Fortress

Hello About 3 weeks ago I've created this LEGO Elf Fortress in LDD. What do you guys think about it? Any suggestions what I could change or how I could improve it? I've also added it to LEGO ideas, if you like it you can support it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/82575 More pictures and info on LEGO ideas page.
  22. Hi fellow fans! I have collected the CMF's, and I quit after four complete series. I luckily got some extra Zombies, Spartans, Elves and Hazmat's. Now my question to you is, what would these complete series be worth? Not just the BL price, but the price people would actually pay. And would it be wiser to sell them as a lot, or loose? I'm worried that I won't get rid of them all if I sell them loose And finaly, would any of you be interested in those figures? Thanks and have a good day!

    Mount Up! The Lesser Rustwing

In some of the more heavily forested areas of Avalonia, there is a breed of mid sized dragon known as the Lesser Rustwing. Their relatively small size allows them to agilely navigate the trees of their habitat. Over time, the elves have learned to domesticate these mighty beasts, and to use them for transportation when horses would be too slow, as well as beasts of war.
  24. Hello. New LOTR project. Hope you like it and support it. http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/51716 Thanks!
  25. I was going to ask this question in the LotR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion Thread, but then I figured it might be better suited for it's own topic because a poll can be used here. This thread is also meant as a discussion about the pros and cons of buying each specific number of Mirkwood Elf Army sets. If mods disagree and want to merge it with the other thread then by all means. Personally I was planning on buying about 10 of the MEA sets in total. After taking a closer look though, I think 5 seems like a much more reasonable number. That way I can still get a good number of elves, orcs, and Wargs without going to crazy with the elves (or Thranduils). I will probably end up just buying another 10-20 Gundabad Orcs (with hair) on BL for hopefully under $4 a piece, 5 more elves to make it an even 20, and then buy 5 or so more of the dark brown Wargs. I am guessing the Wargs should easily be under $7 and closer to 6 since they are going to be available in such a cheap set (almost half the price of the Warg Attack set the gray Warg came in). Right now the gray Warg is barely over $8. As I already mentioned, I have no need for 30 more elves that 10 MEA sets would give me. I just got 20 of the Mirkwood Elf polybags last year so that would give me 40 green hooded elves and over 50 elves total! More importantly though, I don't want 10 Thranduils. Unlike Eomer in the Uruk-hai Army set, Thranduil's head piece makes him way to distinctive to serve as anything but Thranduil. With Eomer it was pretty easy to mix him in as a standard Rohan grunt. For this reason, and also the inclusion of so many elves, I don't see this set selling anywhere near as well as the Uruk-hai Army one did. I personally bought over 20 Uruk-hai Army sets and I know there were others who bought many more than that. People on average seemed to buy way more of that set than the 1-3 MEA they plan on buying too. So, how many Mikrwood Elf Army sets do YOU plan on buying and why?
