  1. This is my entry to the Eurobricks Flower Show! It's also a freebuild for Mitgardia here in the Guilds of Historica. __________________________ As an aspiring herbalist, Sigrid used to find most of her ingredients in the forest that surrounded the village. But while gaining experience, she felt the need to grow her own garden. She needed to keep the most useful plants within easy reach - and also wanted to make experiments with flora that would not grow natively in the Mitgardian mountains. In a few years, she had managed to gather many medicinal plants from Mitgardia, and to acclimate a few ones from Avalonia. And her garden kept growing : there were still so many plants to learn about! __________________________ As with my previous builds, the spoiler section contains details about the featured flora. __________________________ Since many commenters seemed to enjoy the well, there is now a tutorial here in my flickr! Credits : the birch tree uses Katie Walker's leaves weaving technique.

    [MOC-EBFS] A Secret Place

This is my entry for the Eurobricks Flower Show. The goal was to make a rich vegetation without using too many official "plant pieces". As you can see I prefer the garden to be a little bit wild. The nature is perfect by itself - in its abundance.

    [EBFS] Garden Railway

I'm not fully decided whether this should be here or in Town, but I created it with trains in mind so I've put it here. "Create a garden for your theme"... well, that's clearly going to be trains, so I can either put a garden in a train or a train in a garden. With only a 16x16 area, I thought a railway wagon might be a a bit small (but @Pdaitabird proved me wrong, so I'm glad I didn't try it!). However, I thought a LEGO minifig-sized garden railway might work... and it does! The young and the old railway entusiasts watch as an unidentified BR tank engine hauls a pair of Carmine-and-cream MK1s around the loop, endlessly... The garden features every LEGO plant, flower and shrub I own! It also features a miniature station building, a bench for Grandad to rest on, and a small workshed - complete with toolbox and cup of tea/coffee/hot beverage. Behind the shed is the control gear, that via a few bevel gears turns the green disc the train is fixed to, causing it to rotate. In an ideal world the turning disc would be grey and the the central "island" green, but I don't have the parts in the right colour so they're the other way around! Finally, you can see it in action below! If the GIF doesn't work, try clicking here: https://gph.is/g/aev79Nk And as ever, more photos are hosted at Bricksafe: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Collet22/ebfs-garden-railway- Thanks for looking!
  4. Here's my entry for the Eurobricks Flower Show. I knew I wanted to incorporate my favorite theme (trains!) so I thought, why not have a freight car converted to a flower bed? Then, of course, you need a way to water the flowers! Thanks for looking - good luck to all the contestants!
  5. Hello everybody, this is my entry for the Eurobricks Flower Show. Due to my lack of time I decided to challenge myself, to see what I could build in the timeframe of 60 minutes. You might be thinking: This doesn't look like a normal garden Well, I've had multiple problems. First of all, I dont own any green bricks, flower pieces or anything else that would be usefull for this contest, so I had to get creative. My brick collection is probably > 50.000 bricks, but I dont think there are even 100 green ones. I build technic Cars in 1:8 Scale, so building a normal Garden really isn't for me In the end I decided to create an entry with a bit of a deeper meaning. The colorful Flower surrounded by darkness represents our beautiful LEGO builds in these dark times yeah kinda r/Iam14andthisisdeep I know, but I dont care
