It is time to move into the coloured era, my dear Whovians. Welcome the Third Doctor. Yes, here he is, in all his fancy glory. Just as portrayed by Jon Pertwee. Replicating his curly hair was not an easy task, that's for sure. Choosing between his various outfits was not a simple thing to do, either. In the end, i chose the most "dandy" one - Black and violet cape and dark red velvet suit. Also, for the first time, Doctor has got his sonic screwdriver. And now it's time to regenerate! And don't forget to make Three Doctors appear together. After all, they are ones of him. And here are the instructions to make this Doctor for yourself. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-196007/CogInTheMachine/brickheadz-third-doctor-who-jon-pertwee/#details

Hello all. I have not posted to this topic in a long time, but I wanted to share my latest LDD build here. This is my take on the Dalek Emperor from the 1967 Doctor Who serial, "The Evil of the Daleks." It is mostly based on the build done by NathanR over on Bricksafe. The head rotates, and the eyestalk bends. Digital file available on photo page. Enjoy!

Never ventured outside of the Star Wars forum before but here goes. Over three years ago I made a hexagonal console for the 11th Doctor's TARDIS and never thought to continue it further. It wasn't until I posted my TARDIS 'police box' exterior design on Flickr that I remembered about the console and decided to fish it out from the depths of my unfinished mocs bin. Form then on I was intent on creating the rest of the control room but hadn't found the time nor interest. At least not until Doctor Who returned to our screens for its 10th series where I found myself itching to stray away from Star Wars builds (for the moment at least ) And so I present my interpretation of the 11th doctors TARDIS interior, first revealed over 7 years ago in 'the eleventh hour' (has it really been that long!?) Its worth noting that I wasn't aiming for a total scale replica of the actual set, rather a model that incorporates the basics of this particular incarnation which I saw as the console, a glass floor, 'Swiss cheese' walls/floor, a jumble of staircases/gantries and of course the inside of police box doors. In this I feel its fairly successful but have to say it wouldn't be without Xenomurphy's fantastic TARDIS design over on Flickr. His model of the same console room is truly staggering and I just couldn't begin to think of a better solution for the curved wall than his design. So be sure to checkout his design if you haven't already. But enough talk and on to the pictures! It's not all Star Wars... Hello Lego-Whovians! I've started watching the classic Who episodes and decided to design new Brickheadz figure for each new Doctor I encounter. So, here are the William Hartnell's First and Patrick Troughton's Second Doctors in this cute cubical form. The final design was achieved through a dozen of prototypes with a help of a really useful Stud.io program Here are the early prototypes of the figures. You may easily spot the changes I've made later. The First Doctor Made in B&W (and shade of grey) as TV shows back then were not so colorful as nowadays. He has his walking stick, scarf and hat for the Tenth Planet. Numerous slopes are used to show his flowing white hair. One of the hardest part was making his checkered pants. Figure also has rounded cheeks to make his face less standart. The Second Doctor Also in Black&White. Has hes flute-recorder, bowtie and a handkerchief in a pocket. You may notice that I had to use the old dark grey to make his striped pants. Quarter-round tiles are used to make his angry browa for a more recognizable face. As the models were made in Stud.io, I've made instructions for them too, links are here if you need them: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-137690/CogInTheMachine/brickheadz-first-doctor-william-hartnell/#details https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-142487/CogInTheMachine/brickheadz-second-doctor-patrick-troughton/#details

We all know that LEGO will not release many of our favorite movie or television characters. Here is thr place to show off your purist figures! Rules (I know, bad word, but must be done): 1. Absolutely must be purist. That means no 3rd party brands, knockoffs, or any custom printing. These must be made from existing LEGO parts. 2. No Star Wars, Marvel, or DC characters. There are separate forums for those. 3. Keep the profanity to a minimum. We have people of all ages here. No hard cursing. Otherwise, let's do this!
