    Disney Minifigures Background

Hi Can anyone supply the darkened Disney background please for a home made frame? Cheers
  3. This is my version of Donald Duck's car in LEGO. It was a challenge to build eventhough it is so small, but of course a fun challenge! I would appreciate if you also had a look at the LEGO Ideas-project here. Some history Donald Duck´s car made its first appearence in the movie "Don Donald" from 1937, and in 1938 it was introduced in the newspaper comics by Al Taliaferro. The design is originally based on an "American Bantam 1938"-car, but has changed slightly over the years and varies from different cartoonists. Its name "The 313" comes from the license plate that has number 313, which also is the day when Donald Duck was born (13th of March). The design is mainly inspired by the original fictiv car "Belchfire Runabout", which you can see in the last photo.
  4. Donald only gets bills in his mailbox, and his neighbor Jones is standing in the background smiling scornfully. I tried to make the visual style similiar to the style I have seen in the Donald Duck comics I read during the 80s. The car is up as an LEGO Ideas-project, so I would appreciate if you had a look at that as well and gave it your support.

    [MOC] Mid-size Wall-E

Guys I am back! Probably no one remember me after my long gone from my last, which is also my first post around It's me who built the Stark Tower last year: http://www.eurobrick...opic=112042&hl= First off I would like to thank everyone who enjoyed my last post and all the nice words, I should have given more response on that post, but I don't wanna feel like "pushing my own post up" after a year... Anyway, I finally got time now, so I would probably be more active in posting MOCs, both new ones and those I have not shared before. This time, I have chosen one that is relatively new, built from last year, during the release of the amazing 21303 official set. I love the official set VERY VERY MUCH, but after all the budget taken by the two Super Heroes lines, there wasn't any left for me to get this adorable pal. Of course, one of the best thing about LEGO, is that you can build whatever you want, so like all the other AFOL would say: Let's build one ourselves! This is probably one of my favourite MOCs of all times, I am not sure what do you guys think yet, but personally i LOVE the result. My favourite part of the official set, was those realistic eyes of Wall-E, that really give the model a spirit, so that's also where I started. Then I thought, it wouldn't be as fun if it's just a small rendition of Wall-E that does nothing, after all, this character has been popular among the AFOLs for the past few years and there were already a lot marvelous takes on the characters, in all sort of sizes. Therefore, I decided that the belly must be able to be opened like the big one. And if it can open the belly, why not also do the sliding and ball-joint arms, with movable fingers? Of course, I would left the back of it without any detail as well, I mean, how can I? With a single night of hard work, I made this satisfying MOC, the only thing I wished I could have improved, is to include the treads, but I simply don't have the pieces. What do you guys think about it? Comments & Criticism are welcome as usual!

    Fairytale MOC

This weekend we displayed a few MOCS as a family at Brickfair Alabama. We started building lego about 18 months ago and this was our third event. Primarily we have exhibited Star Wars Mocs that my young son and I worked on. As my daughter, who is now 6 has got more interested it has led me to build things that she enjoys both playing with and showing at events. So here we have our first effort at a fairytale world, I was inspired by some images that I have seen on here of a Rapunzel tower and Mermaid scene that were great. I knew I wanted a tower that looked like the images of Rapunzels tower online and I also knew that I wanted my ocean to be under the world we built. We custom painted our own Alice and Snow White and Dopey figiures and some of the dwarf's hats which was a fun experience. I hope that you enjoyed, we plan on a very large expansion on this in the months to come. Thanks for looking. 9. My MOCs/mods that make use of parts from the recently released Disney CMF line. Apologies for the rubbish photography. The vampiress-witch's staff is topped with a purple gem. It looks blue in the picture but isn't in real life. What MOCs or mods have you made using Disney parts?
  10. This is the one you've been waiting for, and now it's here! The one and only WhiteFang, master of the Collectable Minifigs, brings you his in depth review of one of the most anticipated sets in the series, the very first offering from Disney! Go check it out now!

  12. Voting is now open! So what do you think would happen if Disney bought the rights to Marvel? Oh wait, that did happen. Well what if they bought the rights to Star Wars? Oh yeah, that happened too. So I guess the only possible outcome would be… Star Wars vs. Marvel: Disney Showdown! While the Star Wars and Marvel universes exist independently of each other, their fans do not! This is your chance to show, in Lego form, what would happen if Marvel and Star Wars met. This encounter can happen within the Marvel universe or on any of the Star Wars planets. You are not required to come up with any kind of explanation as to why these two universes have collided. Just have fun with the possibilities! Category A – Conflict: Show what would happen if the good guys and villains of Marvel and Star Wars met. This build should be all about the conflict, so make it fierce! This build should also be clearly about good guys vs. bad guys. You can have one good guy vs. one bad guy, one character vs. a group, or two groups facing off against each other. You should choose either Star Wars or Marvel characters for the good guys, and then the opposite universe for the bad guys. For example, you can show Luke Skywalker facing down an army of Hydra agents, or the Fantastic Four fighting Darth Vader; but you can’t have the Jedi Council teaming up with the Avengers to fight the Sinister Six. Teamwork builds should be reserved for Cat. B. Size limit is 64x64. Category B – Teamwork: Show what would happen if the good guys or the villains of Marvel and Star Wars teamed up. The focus of this build should about the teamwork between good guys from Star Wars and Marvel or the bad guys. You can include this alliance working against one foe, but the focus of the build should be about how the two groups work together. For example, you can show how Spiderman and Daredevil would get along with Qui-gon and Obi-wan and show them taking down Kingpin, but the emphasis of the build should be them working together. Or you could show how Count Dooku and Modok would work together and you could having them torturing Anakin Skywalker, but you shouldn’t have them taking on the entire clone army. You could also just show stressed the team work would be such as if Red Skull, Doctor Doom, and Modok tried to team up with Bossk, Boba Fett, and Dengar. Size limit is 64x64. Rules One entry per member and per category. You can enter all categories with different entries, but you'll be eligible to receive only one prize. The size restrictions for both categories is 64x64 studs. The contest will run from 1st June to 1st July, 2015. As long as it's still July 1st somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars and Licensed staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[sWvsM] – category - entry name". (For example, "[sWvsM] – Cat. A – Hulk Smashing the Imperials".) A link must also be included in this thread for your entry to count. Post pictures no larger than 800x640, but you may link to bigger pictures. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. For each category, EB staff will make a first selection, and then EB members will vote for their favorite entry among that selection. Prizes First place in Cat. A will win 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina First place in Cat. B will win 76032 The Avengers Quinjet City Chase

    Lego Disney Wonder

Thanks everyone that's supported my Lego Wonder Cruise Ship on Ideas! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/128153 - it's made it to 1K - 10% of the way there, and a time extension :) Check on the updates for more pix and fun stories - this ship was built on the real Disney Wonder and came back to our house in the Captain's cabin! The Mini Wonder is still there as a thank you for bringing back our big Wonder.
  15. Hi, I'm wandering around the web looking for sites that like Lego, so I'm a newb here. I have a Lego Ideas project, the Lego Disney Wonder Cruise Ship, at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/128153 so please support it :) I also have some blog posts about the Lego Wonder Cruise Ship here: http://ourrandombits.blogspot.com/ - it's a cool story, so check it out. There's a link to the YouTube about it too. More recently I've started getting some attention for my full size, primarily Lego, moving R2-D2, L3-G0. As far as I know he's currently the only full size working Lego R2-D2. (I've Bing'd and Google'd and haven't found another, though there are some other good builds). L3-G0 the Lego R2-D2 got his own blog at http://L3-G0.blogspot.com- feel free to check that out too, and I don't mind if you share the link or tweet! :) The first blog also has a few other miscellaneous projects, time lapse build of a Lego Seattle Space Needle, a few random photos, and observations about the variance in brick sizes... - Kresty

  17. So with all of the desired minfigures for this series, and only 18 slots, there will obviously be some left out. Who would you guys like to have? This also serves as a means of keeping the actual theme thread less cluttered. Confirmed characters are: -Mr. Incredible -Syndrome -Mickey Mouse -Genie -Ursula -Peter Pan -Captain Hook Rumored are: -2 unknown Princesses
  18. Hi, here's my LDD model of Captain Baloo's famous plane. I hope you like it :) Best Vaionaut Edit: @Mod: Please correct the typo in the Title (Disney's). Thx!
  19. Captain Hook by Rolli, on Flickr "Allow me? I am Captain James Bartholomew Hook, world's most famous crook - captain of the fine mighty Jolly Roger and its crew, honorable pirate, finder of many treasures and killer of the Croco... Okay, who am I kidding.." For some reason, Disney's Captain Hook was always a favorite of mine. Not really evil, clumsy and funny at times, having his own nemesis in the shape of a comical crocodile - and always being outwitted by Peter Pan. Or clumsy Mr. Smee. Long story short: I had to build him - in this iconic pose, including the crocodile. It was great fun and a challenge to build at this scale, especially with those limiting colors (I'm talking to you, magenta!). A pirate contest on the Norwegian forum Brikkelauget"]http://brikkelauget....o"]Brikkelauget provided me with the perfect opportunity so it had to be done :D Looking forward to hearing what you think and if you like Mr. Hook! Best Markus

    Frozen...

This can't be regarded as a finished MOC. You know it should be half done at most and you may know why. The build takes quite a lot of time actually and I have to encounter a number of technical problems while building it. Stay tuned for Elsa... and more photos...
  21. Since I just found out that the Hatbox ghost is back (hooray!), I decided to show off the few good things I saved from my mediocre Haunted Mansion mod. Here's Hattie himself. This figure is not purist. The cape was altered to be a bit ripped on the sides, and the spikes were removed. The torso's not much of an overcoat, but I don't know what would be better. The necktie is also colored over. I'm not happy with the loose connection of the handle to the "hatbox", but I can't think of any better ideas. Of course, with a switch of heads, the effect can be replicated. The black outfit helps to conceal the black head. He'd probably look better lit in blue, though. The Conservatory was the only other scene I thought came out well. There's a headless minifigure with white arms holding up the lid, and the Raven and a candlestick are on top. The ripped tablecloth was my idea. So that's it! I'd like to make more characters from the ride, and I think a Singing Bust will be possible with the screaming ghost head in CMF S14. Constance hasn't worked out yet, since there aren't any white female heads with smirks. Madame Leota would work if there was a black version of the Hobbit hair (I could put the head into these.) Overall, I'm just showing these because I love the ride! I'd love some ideas, though.

  23. Hi, Lumiere from Disney film "Beauty and the Beast" is just a cool guy that I had to make in LEGO . It was a personal challenge to use only pearl gold parts and not to be tempted to use yellow parts with a greater variety of shapes. It was a puzzle to come up with a completely gold candelabra that resembles Lumiere, but I had fun and I am very happy with the result.
  24. Hi everyone! I have just finished a MOC project that I would like to share with you here. I call it 'Once Upon A Brick' and the idea is to take classic Disney characters and re-imagine them as large-scale 2x4 LEGO Bricks. When choosing which character to do first, Mickey Mouse was the obvious choice and after that, his three friends seemed to be the next logical step; Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto. They average 110 LEGO bricks per model and stand approximately 13cm tall. I am calling the above four MOCs 'Series 1' and I have lots more series planned. I am nearly finished with 'Series 2' and will get them photographed just as soon as the last one is ready. Finally, I have been hoping to build something worthy of LEGO Ideas for a while and I think/hope that this series could be something that others may enjoy. With that in mind, I have submitted this project to LEGO Ideas and if you feel that this is a project worthy of support, then please follow the link and hit the SUPPORT button. Also, if you know anyone who you think might like to see this project made into an official LEGO product, then please pass the link onto them. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99705 Many, many thanks for taking the time to look at my builds! You can see more pictures in my Flickr album HERE. UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 4th June 2015 - Since I created this thread in April, I've been making more characters and have been moving away from the idea of sticking to the 'series' label that I'd used above. I've also been taking on board the feedback that I have been getting from people who have seen them in person. The one thing that I hear a lot is that they are much bigger than they look in the photos. I honestly think that some people were assuming that they were actually 2x4 bricks that I had been gluing parts onto. To help give perspective from now on, I have been taking new pictures of the characters with the LEGO brick that they are based upon, next to them. So, please may I introduce you to new members of the Once Upon A Brick family, coming straight to you from the 100 Acre Wood........... Winnie The Pooh & Friends From left to right, we have Pooh himself, then Piglet, Tigger and finally Eeyore. Piglet was a huge amount of fun to do and gave me my first chance to use something other than a 2x4 brick as the basis for the character. Since the rest of them are all 2x4s, it made sense that Piglet would be a 1x2 brick. As I said above, if you like these MOCs, I would be eternally grateful for your support on LEGO Ideas please. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99705
