Hello everyone. This is my last diorama and the bigger one I've ever made, work started last summer. I've spent about 5 months to build it (included all veichles, buildings etc.), in free time. there are about 25.000 pieces, I don't know exact number and I don't care. Diorama are based on 12 bases 48x48, 5 bases 32x32 and 1 base 16x32, approx 210x120 cm. I hope you enjoy it, please leave a comment and follow me on flickr, there are more pictures. Hi guys, I want to share with you this great diorama. The city was built with more than 100,000 bricks. The interiors are furnished. There are about 60 minifigures. The dimensions are about 4.5 meters in length and 2.5 meters in depth. The construction is the work of my friend AFOL Paolo Maculan. I realized the part in stop motion and edited the video. Hope you like it!! :) P.s:Diorama is in work in progress, as soon as I'm ready to upload all the updates to the channel.

I recently started living out my suppressed LEGO-dreams, and after buying a couple of stock sets, I've decided to build a diorama around my existing Shuttle Tydirium set, so it doesn't just sit awkwardly on my display shell. This is what I came up after an evening of figuring out how to effectively use Mecabricks - and eventually losing everything after I accidentally closed the window... Obviously, the big brown space is where the shuttle goes, but I didn't have the energy to put in a good placeholder at least.. and the minifigs are also placeholders ofc. I'm still on the fence about the tree design, this is just what I came up at the moment. I'd welcome any feedback, ideas about how to best go about this, but this is my first time trying my hand at this, so please be gentle

After fulfilling his contracted task on the enchanted forests of the west region, Adam and Terryn started their return trip to Albion. They’ve been riding for 3 days and are now on BlueWater Castle region. The castle and the surrounding lands belongs to Sir Bridger and his beautiful daughter, Lady Melissa. Adam, but specially Terryn, are tired and in need for a resting place. Maybe Sir Bridger would welcome them on his castle to spend the night? Perhaps they could even get a chance to meet Lady Melissa and her legendary beauty… Hey guys, I was going to post these MOC on History Forum, but I thought it would fit well on the West Region of avalonia, my current Guild as it is home to mighty stone castles. Also, can I somehow put the castle on Avalonian map? Is that possible? I consider myself a castle builder, but I have never build a castle in the real sense of the word, so I thought it was about time I build one. As I’m working on a big display to my LUGs expositions (Comunidade 0937) and having access to a lot more parts I could go a little wild. :) This MOC stands on a footprint of 4x3 (48x48) baseplates and is more than 3 feet high. I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do since the beginning, but of course some modifications and adjustments were made along the build, such as the positioning of the various towers on the main walls or the shape of the half-timbered sections. A few facts and thoughts that I would like to share: - Its viewable from the 4 sides and completely modular so it can easily be transported. - Despite having access to more parts, I still had some limitations. So, for instance, I had to use more LBG 1x2 plates and 1x2 masonry dark tan bricks on the walls that I wanted but nevertheless I think it turned out Ok all the same. - The colors used on the landscape terrain are not the ones that I would like to use, but again, due to its size, I had to use more common ones. - I build this at home and took me about 250 hours in 50 or so days to build this MOC. - I have no idea how many parts it’s made off! If someone as a rough idea, please let me now. But I can tell you that just on the landscape alone and on the castle interiors I used around 10000 2x4 bricks of various colors and on the walls I used at least 4000 round 1x1 bricks. - The landscape was not my priority as it will sure suffer some changes and adding’s when integrated on the full display so I spend just 5 days on it and is not yet as I want him to look. - Also, the trees are somewhat simple as I need them to be brickbuild (for easier transportation and also due to time restrictions) but I kind like them that way. - Naturally, I’m a BIG noob in taking good pics and these are total crap (overexposed, poor lighting, poor focus). Taking reasonable ones was a huge #$#/&%$ pain and in my opinion it looks so much better in person :) Hope you all like it. Here is a little diorama I did to try and get out of my lego slump. Been really interested in the 80's and 80's tech, from Commodores to tape drives to big old floppy diskettes. Anyways, enjoy my diorama of an 80's nerd in it's natural habitat soldering away.

Hello all, For many years making a diorama from the battle of Hoth has always been on my wishlist. With the recent influx of minifg-scaled AT-ATs one more excellent than the other, I was once again inspired and started my own one. :) Needless to say, it turned out so great much a diorama soon followed. Like all my projects, I started designing in LDD and then got all the parts I required. Designing and building time was approx. 1 year, with lots of smaller projects in between as well. The diorama consists of 8 (4x2) large baseplates and includes a Rebel trench, shield generator, turrets and blaster cannon foxholes. A snowspeeder is flying over ready to engage. The empire is represented by an AT-AT, AT-ST and a large number of snowtroopers with an E-Web blaster cannon. The AT-AT also includes an accurate interior, with a troop area, speeder bike garage and more! Everything was built as close as possible to the source material. Troop capacity is 36 from the 40, unfortunately 4 seats had to be removed to allow space for the neck anchoring in the hull. Additionally there is a 5-man crew (commander, 2 drivers and 2 deck officers). In addition, lights are built into the AT-AT, cannons and turrets! Here are the pictures; I apologize for the background as they were taken at a local show my LUG held. AT-AT with full interior. The model can stand on its own without further support. The legs and side panels can detach for "easy" transport, but it requires two persons to set it back up again. Snowtroopers and AT-ST Snowspeeder Rebel trench Let me know what you think! There are a few people who deserve credit: All in the Reflexes, who shared his AT-AT hull LDD file here on EB. I used this as the basis for my AT-AT, strengthened and modified the exterior and then added the interior. Larry Lars for his excellent snowspeeder design, which I slightly modified. LiLmeFromDaFuture, from who I used the AT-ST legs and feet. I also based by shield generator design on a MOC I saw here on EB, but I forgot who was the author. Anyone?

Full Gallery This is MOC was presented as a part of 25m2 diorama at two Zbudujmy.to exhibitions in Warsaw and Radzionków and can be seen on 1 upcoming one. :) MOC consist of: 2x4 BP Farm - based on Farm :) 2x2 BP Tree - based on Ellcrys from The Shannara Chronicles. In near future I'm planing to add extra 2x4 BP of Farm, unfortunately I'm still waiting for some pieces that supposed to come "one day" :P. The tree will be moved to the forest section where it will overlook over other trees.

This moc is part of the FRIENDS Display (Theme Park) on the upcoming Build Your LEGO Christmas Event at 1 Utama Shopping Centre (at Malaysia) from 9th to 20th November 2016. It consists of 24pcs of 32x32 baseplate, which is my biggest solo moc up to now. This is definitely a very challenging task for myself, which I only have about 5weeks of time to complete this. (average 2-3hrs a day). One of the major attractions on this moc is this Friends Roller Coaster ride, which took up more than half of the size on this work. The most challenging part on this ride is the limited type of the blue track which is available. It only have 2 types of track, ramp up/down and a single size of curve track. In order to design a roller coaster ride which is looks “fun” and realistic, I’ve spent more than 3nights just to complete the draft structure of this track’s design out. Hopefully the outcome is not too awful. Besides on that, there is also an extended version of Ferris Wheel from the existing Friends set, Space shot, and also the Spinner ride which built by the great builder, Denil Oh. Hello everyone, I'm making a kinda large Diorama at the moment. It's going to be 4 48x48 baseplates big (for now, I might make it bigger when this is done). I don't have a lot of experience with making large MOCs, so any help is appreciated. For now I'm working on 2 of the baseplates to make a sort of mountain/cliff area, with either a watchtower or fortified barracks on top, not sure yet. But as of now, I don't have a lot. I'm going to post updates here, not regularly because it's probably going to take a few years to finish (I need to save up for a long time if I want to buy new bricks, so yeah). Anyway, here is the start: Here is some rockwork, I am happy with how it looks. And here is how everything is supported. It is pretty sturdy. But if you guys have tips/ideas on how to make this better, I'd be more then happy to hear them! And this is the 2 baseplates I was talking about. The black minifigbases are where the path is going, just as a reminder. Anyway, hope you like it so far, and I hope it's interesting to watch an average MOCer build something this big

This is Cathedral. A board game. A long time ago I made a Lego version. Then lately I wondered if I could do it at minifig scale and started building. I haven't nearly completed a full set yet, but I've developed a standard that others might like. This is the basic unit. Baseplate brick and plate, just like the MILS standard. Technic connectors. Then four studs of tiles and jumpers around the outside. I've filled the middle of this one in with more tiles to make a open area. This one has a building added. You can see it is four studs from the edge at the base, but overhangs more as it goes up. Although never outside the footprint of the baseplate. Here is a pair of houses taking up all the space on module. Modules don't have to be rectangles. This inn is on a corner. Of course, the buildings don't have to be connected, here is a pair of houses with a watchtower on one side and a square on the other. The barracks is the biggest building I have so far. I've aimed for solid buildings with no interiors. When set up for a display the emphasis is on the street life and the city as a whole. The modules should be easy enough for anyone to add to make a combined display and can be any size or shape as long as the sides conform to the standard. It makes for a flatish city with narrow streets not big enough for carts, but that's an ok look I think. I've added a whole bunch of street level shots of a display with figs to the Flickr. Hello everybody! Here it is the summer update of my town diorama... this year there aren't many modifications since I've already reached the maximum space available. For this reason I've started to replace some of the buildings on a rotation basis... If you compare these pictures to last year's, you'll see a missing building... Well, said building (a tan house) hasn't gone, but it will replace another one in future, and so on... I've added a 16-wide gap between the department store and the fire station in order to add some variety to the street. Hope you like Not much has changed here... So, here's said gap, and there is a missing building... City park is still there, and, oh, there's a baby! Much space now! Hope to show you more updates in the next weeks!

3 months ago we post the teaser picture from the MOC. And now the diorama is finished that we have build for the Bricking Bavaria in munich. It was really great and very funny to build an collab MOC with disco86 again! Best of all were the smile in the face from all the children. Hey fellow EBers, I'd like to present my second-ever train MOC, and the one I'm most proud of; a Burlington Northern EMD SD40-2 Burlington Northern EMD SD40-2 by Joshua, on Flickr Here's the engine without the base: EMD SD40-2 without base by Joshua, on Flickr The SD40-2 was introduced in January 1972 as part of EMD's Dash 2 series, competing against the GE U30C and the ALCO Century 630. Although higher-horsepower locomotives were available, including EMD's own SD45-2, the reliability and versatility of the 3,000-horsepower (2,200 kW) SD40-2 made it the best-selling model in EMD's history and the standard of the industry for several decades after its introduction. The SD40-2 was an improvement over the SD40, with modular electronic control systems similar to those of the experimental DDA40X. Peak production of the SD40-2 was in the mid-1970s. Sales of the SD40-2 began to diminish after 1981 due to the oil crisis, increased competition from GE's Dash-7 series and the introduction of the EMD SD50, which was available concurrently to late SD40-2 production. The last SD40-2 delivered to a United States railroad was built in July 1984, with production continuing for railroads in Canada until 1988, Mexico until February 1986, and Brazil until October 1989. As of 2013, nearly all still remain in service. The SD40-2 has seen service in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Guinea. To suit export country specifications, General Motors designed the JT26CW-SS (British Rail Class 59) for Great Britain, the GT26CW-2 for Yugoslavia, South Korea, Iran, Morocco, Peru and Pakistan, while the GT26CU-2 went to Zimbabwe and Brazil. Various customizations led Algeria to receive their version of a SD40-2, known as GT26HCW-2. SD40-2s are still quite usable nearly fifty years after the first SD40 was made, and many SD40s and locomotives from the pre-Dash-2 series (GP/SD 40s, 39s and 38s, and even some SD45s) have been updated to Dash-2 specifications, possibly including downgrading from 20-645E to 16-645E engines, including, certainly, Dash-2 electrical controls, although the pre-Dash-2 frames cannot accommodate the somewhat similar HTC truck in the space allocated to the Flexicoil C truck (the frame is not long enough). Most SD40-2s which remain in service have by now been rebuilt "in-kind" for another 30 to 40 years of service, although a few (under 30) have been rebuilt to incorporate a 12-cylinder EFI-equipped 710G engine. It took almost exactly two years from the first idea to completion of this diorama of a railway station. There is less emphasis on the station itself, as my main goal was to present it in the natural environment and have a try at building a landscape. A railway line running at the foot of the hills, with railway station and adjacent bus stop, bridge and tunnel. Station building in masonry style. Bus stop with shelter Covered bike racks Some maintenance work on underground wiring needs to be done. Functioning railway signal. The photo was deliberately taken with incorrect settings so that the light from signal could better be seen. Bridge Tunnel entrance Detail of landscape The river offers plenty of chances for recreation. Aerial view. The entire thing measures 127x77 centimeters, while the estimated brick count is at least 10.000. A few more pictures can be found here.
