  4. Hello good people of Eurobricks! I have recently purchased the DC Superheroes Funhouse Escape set, but it has not yet arrived. It looks to be a very nice set, with lots of potential of modding. What I am wondering is this; has anyone found or carried out any interesting modifications on the set that I could perhaps replicate on my copy? I'm asking about enlargements, editions and reductions to make an already nice set better to look at and better to play () with. I don't expect tutorials or anything like that - although that would be great - simply ideas would be fine. Does anyone have any?

At the beginning I was only interested in the licenced themes like LOTR, The Hobbit, Marvel/DC, Star Wars (only the movies), Sponge Bob, TMNT... but I've been quickly attracted by other themes like Monster Fighter or Modular. I'm my personnal life I'm an IT. I like football (soccer), computing, vidéo games, photography (even if I sucks at it for 4 years) and travels. See ya !

MOC Series: The Legion of Doom

MOC Series: The Legion of Doom I love the Legion of Doom! Personally I think they’re one of the coolest DC organizations and one of the most underrated and underused ones out there. While most notable for its appearance in Challenge of the Super Friends series, it also appeared (Though not in name the behest of DC comics themselves) in Justice League Unlimited series two—which my builds are mainly based off of. Anyways after that short history lesson we get to the important part—the Legion itself. I love the legion, and it’s many members, and the Darth Vader shaped building, but rarely seen are the actual rooms within their headquarters. That’s the point of this build series, to see where those villains actually live and hang out when not being (totally) villainous. I have a chunk of rooms done now, but will add more in this thread when they are built. So enjoy the progress and the Legion of Doom and its rooms grow! (Click on the picture to find out more information on said room) -------- "The Legion of Lunch Room" The Legion’s Lunchroom; where villainous villains come to feast during the hours of 12:00 to 1:00, and again at 6:00 to 8:00. Closed on Sundays. ----- "Meanwhile in the Men's Bathroom..." Ahem, are you going to wash your hands? …No, 'cause I'm evil. ----- "Grodd's Office" ----- "Luthor's Office" ----- "Archery Room" ----- Enjoy--and more to come! ~Nemo
  12. I have noticed that people have often wanted to alter their minifigures but have had no clue as to how ( me included ). You may have seen my Red Skull thread which I eventually got a resolution from the kindness of Hammerstein NWC's heart. So, I thought to myself, why start a new thread every time someone needs help with one minifigure hence my thread. Now, I'm kind of in Superhero-frenzy mode at the mo what with my B-Day and Xmas just past in which I received many of the new Superhero sets and I'm desperate to add to my collection so to start off this thread, I will make some suggestions which my help my, and hopefully others, superhero collection. NOTE: Before I begin, I want to assure people that this thread is not for my personal gain or so that I can nick everyone's superhero ideas. It is designed so that if ANYONE is stuck with a fig, they can ask for a solution and hopefully someone will give them an answer. I would be happy to help anyone who I can but in no way feel obliged to let others 'steal' your ideas, I just thought it would be a nice thing to do. NOTE 2: If this thread gets decent critical response, I may start up other themed threads but this is just a prototype, as such. On with the ideas: The Riddler's Cane: Now when the Funhouse set was released, I recall many were disappointed that LEGO could go so cheapskate with us and not supply Riddler with a good cane and instead, give us the common red crowbar relating to nothing and almost spoiling the figure. I am in aid of the classic gold cane the Riddler should carry and already have the start of something (possibly) brilliant, which involves a gold hook. The Penguin: Unfortunately (for me), the old penguin is too expensive for anyone me and the new one is somewhat j u n i o r i s e d so I am looking for an alternative. I think I'll use the Magician's suit along with short purple legs and hands and a top hat but the head is a real problem and that's where the help comes in... So again, my suggestions were just to get the ball rolling so if anybody else needs help with a figure, don't hesitate to whack it on here. Thanks a lot, TT
  13. Hello. Seeing how Christmas is coming up I thought I share a somewhat new video. The story is from the Batman The Animated Series cartoon where Joker escapes on Christmas eve and Batman and Robin have to stop him. And if you're in the mood for a video game spin off I also have a LEGO spoof of Black Ops. Enjoy, thanks for watching and Happy Holidays! LegoGalactus

How to make a Grapple Batarang

Okay guys, today I'm gonna explain how to create your own grapple batarang... if you have the pieces of course! What you'll need... 1x old Bat 'wing' http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=bb203 Some thread or string, ( note for purists, LEGO have released string before although it may be too long for this purpose.) 1x Droid body piece (SW) http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=30375 Now the last part can be in any colour, although you'll find that black or silver work best as that stick to Batman's colour scheme. Instructions: Firstly, cut the string or thread down to around 15cm (depending on the function it will serve) and place to one side. Next, take the wing piece and tie one end of the string through the middle. Check that this is a strong knot and snip off any excess thread. Tie the other end of the string onto the droid body, making sure that the knot is under the stud the way it would be if the part was used on a droid. This is vital as you will need the other half of the body to clip to a minifig. Take a minifigure (obviously this is designed for Batman) and clip there hands onto the other half of the body part. Unfortunately, I was unable to post pictures of what the finished build looks like, but I have made these many times and the finished outcome looks simple but cool. If anybody makes this, I would love to see some pics and hear some thoughts on it. Even though it is a simple build, I believe it is pretty decent as a grapple. TT
