  1. Mini LEGO

    Tank troop combiner mech

Tank Brothers - mini tank troop. It is made of 2 Short Range Tanks, 2 Long Range Tanks, 1 Spy Drone and 1 Commander Tank. These 6 tanks can combine into a big combat robot to defeat more powerful enemies.
  2. Mini size Combiner Transformer Robot. I think if I try to build full version combiner mech (6 vehichles), it would be too big one and need to many bricks. So I built this combiner made with just 3 heavy vehicles.
  3. I tried to build a combiner robot which doesn't include 1x1 handles (26047), 1x1 clips (15712) and 1x1 brackets(36840, 36841) this time.
  4. Mini LEGO

    Combiner transformer robot

This is 'Redman' transformer : Redman can power up with parts :
  5. Mini LEGO

    Police Combiner Transformer

Here are a baby police robot and a small patrol drone. They are not strong at this state. But if they combine into a big police robot, it is strong and fast.
  6. This is another Megazord style LEGO MOC. This is an homage to original Megazord.
  7. This time I built a typical Japanese super robot style combine robot. If you are a big fan of Japanese robot animation, you must know red, blue and yellow vehicles combine to form one big robot in many of Japanese robot animation and Japanese super sentai TV show. I think it is interesting, weird and funny. But I like the super robot rule.

    [MOCombiner] SPYRIUS Crypto Crawler

I decided to combine my two copies of 6889: Recon Robot into a single Spyrius vehicle. This model doesn't use every piece from both bots, but it does use most of them! The Crypto Crawler is composed of a forward sensory module with eyes and grabbers, a central control module, and a rear storage module which carries tools and a unique payload. The arms are sturdy and can articulate similarly to arms found in official Spyrius sets,.the plane tail pieces give the neck an interesting "lean", and the face of the vehicle is cute and dinosaur-y (maybe a stolen Roboforce design?) A Spyrius minifigure can easily fit inside the middle segment, though access to the control panel there is a little snug. Turntables connecting the segments allow the Crawler to slither around. Turning the end modules to the side also makes accessing the storage boxes easier. Once deployed, the Crypto Crawler's cool cargo requires some re-configuration by Spyrius agents... Voila! This lightweight, fold-out flying vehicle was mostly a way of using up some of the more specialized parts that didn't make it into the main model, but I'm actually very happy with how closely it resembles designs from retro games like Galaga. I started this MOC as an exercise in utilizing a limited parts palette while trying to match the aesthetics of an official theme, and I'm very satisfied with the results. The modular design also means that, if I ever get my hands on a third Recon Robot, I could turn it into additional segments that slot right in to this model! You can find more pictures of the Crypto Crawler on my Bricksafe. Critiques are welcome!
  9. Seeing as JTO Makuta was a combiner model. I thought I'd take a crack at making a Makuta that used soley pieces from the purple sets. The sets used in this combiner are Protector of Earth Onua Master of Earth Skull Basher Terak Creature of Earth Onua Uniter of Earth Quake Beast Mask of Control from Umarak the Hunter. With that out of the way here are the pictures http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_1.jpg http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_2.jpg http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_3.jpg http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_4.jpg http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_5.jpg http://www.brickshel...or_makuta_6.jpg Comments and criticism appreciated
  10. This project started last December and progress were averaging at one bot per month. After 7 months of gruelling yet challenging efforts, Liokaiser is finally done. However , back then (end of June) ... I was given a chance to showcase my LEGO transformers at a local store , so Liokaiser was whisked there for a month (video link below). After a month , he was put in storage as I was busy with another LEGO TF project. I'd guess I better put a closure to this now .So there :) >> As a LEGO combiner of this size, (more than 1.5 feet tall)... he is top heavy, so he can't be posed in more elaborate manner. Too much stress were imposed on the hinges . :| >> Due to complexity of individual bot , merging them to form Liokaiser caused a few weak points in connections. I'm forced to apply extra scaffoldings in a few areas to reinforce these connections, so that posing him about would not topple him over . >> Yes, it's SEVEN breastforce members I mentioned just now. In the original cartoon, Deathcobra was the 7th member of Breastforce (forming the arm) but was killed early in the show. So here, I decided to pay homage to this character by having him as a helicopter that transforms/separates into components for the combiner: Hands, head and a gun. If you wish to view more photos of Liokaiser and the whole breastforce team (more than 200 photos!) , the following blog link is a good starting point: http://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2016/09/lego-breastforce-combiner-liokaiser.html As a LEGO TF builder, this project really pushes my limits and skills (and patience.. gawd... finding ways to merge the upper body was simply taxing). OK now I need find ways to outdo myself again. Lemme think what else I can build next. Thanks for viewing!! :)
  11. LEGO was kind enough to provide us with detailed models of the JTO model so that it should be easy enough to build it now; at some point I might myself go and create step-by-step instructions, but this will more than suffice. On my Flickr Courtesy of LEGO (obviously), credit to the designers: Nicolaas Vás (Brickthing), Corvin Stichert (Vezok's Friend) and Niek van Slagmaat (who I believe took the photos, so an extra thanks!) Sorry if this does actually belong on the contest page, but I felt at some point this was a big enough issue on its own =)
  12. This is probably one of the most ridiculous MOCs to be posted here, but it is a combiner of two Toa models from 2015... Lets just say it is a combiner of the two Toa who would least like to be stuck with one another; let alone sharing the same body! Give it up for, Tapaka! Or maybe it is Kopakahu? Or just Kopaka and Loser? Walking must be a chore, especially since it seems Tahu controls one half and Kopaka the other. Looks like Tahu wants to go somewhere Kopaka doesn't... Looks like the argument is heating up and, OHHHH! Ouch, Tahu has thrown a fist into Kopaka's face! Kopaka strikes back with his spear! How will these two ever learn to get along? Are they destined to be the most powerful TwoToa ever? Or are they doomed to become the stars of: Kopaka the Cold Toa 3: Civil War. (Or maybe it should be called Kopaka vs Tahu: Dawn of TwoToa-ness, I don't know...) Hope you enjoyed this silly combiner model! I would like to see what other Twotoa the members on this forum can come up with!
  13. Breastforce is a team of 6 Transformers from Japanese Transformers: Victory Series, with the ability to merge into a super robot named Liokaiser. Each member has a minion of sorts that can be deployed from their chest. These robotic beast minions can become hand held weapons to their respective masters too. Team members: - Leozack transform into Tomcat fighter jet, partnered with Lionbreast. - Guyhawk, an MiG fighter jet, partnered with Hawkbreast. - Hellbat, a Dassault Rafale fighter jet, partnered with Komoribreast. - Drillhorn, the drill tank , partnered with Hornbreast. - Jallguar, the Baja buggy, partnered with Jaguarbreast. - Killbison, the Gepard anti-aircraft tank, partnered with Bisonbreast. I actually spent weeks in deep thoughts on how to make this work (how each limb combine with each other sturdily with articulations to boot) before I started this project last Dec. The efforts were incredibly tedious (especially Jallguar and Leozack) yet rewarding. I shall use this thread to update more reveals in the coming weeks, and of course... the combined mode. I'm almost done with all of them (99%) except the combiner head. This one needs delicate treatment and I'm taking my own sweet time here. KILLBISON In my quest to fulfil last year's vow of building a Transformers combiner , Killbison is actually the last MOC I started work on (from the team of 6 breastforce members). This is because I have difficulty finding the needed brown parts , Just like his original toy, Killbison transforms into a Gepard Tank (below) with 2 turrets. But the original toy has 4 tank treads instead of 2 like in many typical real world tanks. I choose to follow the latter. Trivia > Initially this MOC was suposed to be a "remold" of Drillhorn I started much earlier, but Drillhorn's drill tank mode is chunky looking. I decided to build Killbison from scratch using a new transformation method. > When I started building this guy about 2 months ago, I used many black parts as a placeholder. In the quest to procure more brown parts quickly (this means not from ordering online), My routine scout in a mall yielded me Mixadel (A Mixel set) . This set has 4x c-clips I needed to complete this MOC. What a stroke of luck! > Some sacrifices were made for the robot mode aesthetics to ensure Killbison form a sturdy looking combiner leg. (one example is the robot arms with bland design facing outwards) For more photos of his "killer" antics and poses (and my "killer" writeups on how he came to being), do pay a visit to blog below! alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2016/03/lego-killbison-from-breastforce-team_19.html TRANSFORMATION Like most of my TransforMOCs from recent years, transformation from vehicle to robot mode doesn't require taking off parts.
  14. Combiner models need more love and the transparent blue elements from Kopaka and Gali plus Kopaka's ice sword elements cried out for an ice dragon rahi. I also experimented with the new gearbox and leftover parts and ended up with a golden ice scarab with nice gear-powered movement. What do you think? More photos here.

    Rediscoverd "Inspired by BIONICLE" Combiners

Since I already posted about this twice on BZPower, I might as well also post it here. One of the many wacky foreign and non-canon combiners G1 of BIONICLE had was this often liked diddy that mixes together the blue, red and black Rahkshi into one staff wielding warrior. What you may not know is that there were apparently other models that came from the same Brickshelf gallery it came from that were not used in the (Western, at least) LEGO magazine it appeared in. These are more... out there, to say the least. And when asked if they should also be include in the alternate model database back in October, Volitak_Boxor said no because they weren't, to out knowledge, LEGO-sanctioned like the Japanese model was. Until now... While browsing on Google, I came across this old BZPower news archive page that shows the picture of one of the combiners and lists it as being one of four "Inspired by BIONICLE" creations available on BIONICLE.com's Builder's Section without instructions but rather a single image, and also that they weren't seen on the LEGO Club website. So I went through the Wayback Machine for the Builder's Section page around this date and did indeed find four "Inspiration Models" without images saved. And clicking for a close-up gave more information. "Inspirational Model #1" uses Turahk, Vorahk & Guurahk so it matches the magazine-published combiner and states "Tip: Use the Rahkshi shoulder parts to create the body of this imposing character.". "Inspirational Model #2" uses Panrahk, Kurahk & Lerahk so it matches the BZPower listed image's combiner and states "Tip: Use Rahkshi back parts to create the long arms. Remember that good balance is the most important part of this model!". "Inspirational Model #3" uses Onua Nuva, Pahrak-Kal, Pohatu Nuva & Nuhvok-Kal so it must be the duo combiner and states "Tip: Using Onua Nuva and Pahrak-Kal, you can create the silver version of this Ape-like creature. By combining Pohatu Nuva and Nuhvok-Kal, you can also create his golden-faced twin!". And "Inspirational Model #4" uses Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal so it must be the remaining combiner and states "Tip: Combine the various limbs of both Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal to create extra-long legs!". So in terms of obscure and goofy, but LEGO-sanctioned combiners, we can also now add these guys to the continually growing list.
  16. Now that all the Skull gang has been reviewed by VBBN, it's time to take a closer look at the combiner models. The first one is made of three of the four medium sets : Skull Warrior, Skull Slicer and Skull Basher. The build : The instructions for these combiners aren't available (yet), so I had to guess the build from the (tiny) pictures at the end of the instructions of each set. We start with the torso and the gearbox, then we add the legs, the arms, the spikes on the back, the armours and the head. The complete model : His huge body and his wide shoulders make him really imposing, and he's rather properly armoured, especially for a skeleton. The main issue to me is the colour scheme (two metallic colours and four transparent colours), but it was hard to do better : it's possible to replace most of the blue parts by green ones (except the #4 armours on the arms and the horns, of course), but it makes the model look too much like Slicer, which I think the designers wanted to avoid (which is understandable, especially since he already has four arms). So... we have a rainbow warrior instead. Well. A blue crossaxle / pin is used to give some friction to the mechanism, but it's useless : as soon as you release the yellow knob, the arms "fall". Speaking of the arms, since they're all aligned, the "inner" arms almost can't move on the sides, only frontwards and backwards. What I like, and despite what the official description says, it's that this combiner has only one head. Sure, they could have given him three heads, but it would have been useless and ridiculous, so I'm glad they chose to stick to only one head. I also like the claws on his feet, especially the fact that they used a Skull Spider leg for the middle claw. It's a small detail, but I like it. It's an interesting build, and an imposing model, but it really suffers from the colour scheme.
  17. Can't believe that this hasn't been a major topic before. Heck, it might've been, it's just been buried under other things since then. Nevertheless, what is your favourite combiner? I'm not asking for the best one, because clearly, that is Gaardus! Don't deny it, he is a work of art. As for my favourite... Well, I rarely got enough sets from a wave to build a complete combiner. I certainly never acquired enough titans to do so (And if I did, I wouldn't have dismanted them to build it anyway. My titans only get dismanted when I cannibalize too many parts to repair them) So my favourite is actually Bohrok Kal Kaita Za. He was the first one I had all the components for, but even then, I could work out what went into him just from the picture of the completed model in the back of Tahnok Kal's instructions, so I built him before I even got the arms, with Gahlok and Lehvak replacing them. Once I did have him complete, he was just fun to play around with, and easy to return to his unmerged form. However... Lava Hawk is adorable. So, what's your favourite?

    MOC: Hydra Beast

The biggest Beast seen yet, this Hydra Beast is not one to take lightly! With four heads that spew knockout gas, corrosive liquid, molten lava, and electricity enough to shut down a Hero, this proves that four heads are tougher than one!

    Does anyone know about 66158?

Released in Korea only were apparently two exclusive Piraka "Kaita" sets, combiners of each three that resembled Irnakk. One looked like this: And the other looked like this: I can't seem to find any higher quality image or anything else surrounding this set. Can anyone help out?
  21. Hello! Recently I was fiddling around with my Hero Factory models. I combined Stringer and XT4 and came up with this: *drumroll* Triclops! An evil 3- legged bot with a slicing blade that spells certain doom to its victims. Also, Triclops is equipped with two sharp- shooting claws either side of its head to capture its prey. Hope you like it! C&C welcome.
