  1. @the Inventor and I entered the Space Jam 2021 Sci-Fi Corporation category. It's a team collab to show the activities of a futuristic corporation. We give you H Corp - Growing a healthier future together! H Corp is the largest pharmaceutical company in the Morel sector and is active across the entire value chain. The Exploration Branch seeks out new alien flora and fauna that might have beneficial medicinal properties. The Cultivation Branch farms and breeds successful bio-materials, gene-mapping their unique abilities. The Medical Branch develops and tests new medicines and vaccines, essential for uniting the multi-species society of the sector. The Exploration Branch: The H Corp Exploration Branch harvester, collects new alien flora and fauna that might have beneficial medicinal properties. When a new box of plants is harvested, the drones automatically carry the goods back to the transporter. H Corp Marine Harvester, model CHB-41, is affectionately known by its pilots as the “Chubby Subby”. It specialises in deep sea exploration especially the thermal vents where complex bio-organisms tend to first evolve. The Cultivation Branch: H Corp Bio-LAB farms and breeds successful bio-materials, gene-mapping their unique abilities, off the collected samples found and harvested by the Exploration Branch. The Medical Branch: H Corp Vaccination Clinic, located in the the Exarch Silvi Memorial Children’s Hospital, is one of the most advanced H Corp clinics. It conducts clinical trials on the latest medical developments. Comments and constructive criticism welcome! For me, it was only the second collab I've been involved in and it was really fun to see our concept and builds evolve as our ideas bounced off each other. Thanks, The Inventor!

  5. The LEGO exhibition and fan event "Bricking Bavaria" in Fürth/Germany was the ideal setting to build a really big LEGO train layout. I was named by the organizer Bricking Bavaria as the coordinator for the "Train and City Collaboration". And as soon as the registration was possible, we - me and fellow AFOLs/TFOLs from Noppenbahner and others - signed in and started planning. Planning First ideas were exchanged in our WhatsApp group and the organization team of Bricking Bavaria was given a total size of approx. 20 x 3 meters for the layout. Sceptically we were asked whether we would get this area full at all? But about 20 exhibitors registered with trains, cars, locomotives, bridges, stations and buildings. In summer Florian, Dirk and I met to work on the planning. At least three tracks were planned to keep the train running independently of each other and ensure a lot of movement on the layout. Dirk took over the planning of the outer line and had set himself the goal of completing his metal tracks made of Spur 1 (Gauge 1) rail profiles by the time the event was over. Thus, the 9-volt fraction should also have a realistic track for driving long and fast trains. The two inner lines were planned as Power Function lines without power supply in the track. I had set myself the task of creating a track in shape of an "eight" with a bridge and corresponding ramps for the ascent and descent. In addition, the bridges had to be planned by Michael and myself. Here it made sense to lower a part of the platforms and use these bridges to overcome the resulting valley. In addition, the stations of Nick, Florian and Dirk as well as Nick's railway roundhouse had to be included in the layout. Smaller exhibits such as Peter's depot and various buildings without a direct rail connection were then spontaneously integrated into the layout on the day off setup. My plan of the layout with 3 independent loops and various stations and other stuff Setup Day (Thursday) Ready for LEGO trains On Thursday before the exhibition, the construction of the collaboration layout took place in the Stadthalle in Fürth. The platforms with a total dimension of 19.8 x 3.3 m were already in place. So we were able to immediately start laying out the fire-retardant molleton as a table underlay. I took care of the tedious construction of my "eight" with the ramps and the red bridge in the middle. Florian plunged deeply into the wiring of the numerous switches (we used modified R104 switches from TrixBrix with old 12 Volt style magnetic remote controls) and Dirk packed more than 46 meters of self-made tracks onto the table and connected them piece by piece. In the meantime, Michael's tan bridge had also arrived and was correctly positioned in the valley. My filigree, but quite stable arched bridge (original design by Thomas Avery http://www.texbrick.com/model_whitebridge/index.html) was brought into position at the other end of the valley and already in the early afternoon the first trains were able to make their rounds. Gradually more and more exhibitors arrived and the area grew into a collaboration layout. In order to create as much parking space as possible for all the rolling stock, all (!) existing R104 switches from TrixBrix were used. Additional track sections next to the tracks offered space for further exhibits. Since the Stadthalle was closed punctually at 9 p.m., the construction ended after 13 hours and we were looking forward to the next day. One of the bridges over the valley using BrickTracks R104 tracks AFOL Day (Friday) Friday was all about the AFOLs and was deliberately created by the organizer as a day "by fans, for fans" and without an audience. This offered the opportunity to get in touch with many known and unknown faces and names, to have a chat or to listen to one or the other lecture. At the collaboration layout, the final construction work was still a bit on the way, but finally Nick's roundhouse stood in full splendour and offered a beautiful target for camera lenses and visitors' eyes. Last details on the track were implemented, cable crossings or other small differences in height were compensated and Dirk positioned a huge number of overhead line masts along his 9 volt track, giving it an even more realistic look. And finally we could enjoy the sight of the moving trains! I wonder if the locomotive with the heavy wagons will come up the ramp? And does it manage the descent through the R104 (BrickTracks) curve over the valley without jumping off the track and plunging into the depth on Peter's models? Exhibition Days (Saturday and Sunday) On the two visitor days, the collaboration layout acted like a magnet on large and small and attracted numerous interested visitors. And we always asked the same questions and answered everything in a friendly and courteous manner. "No, the models are not from LEGO and you can't buy them either..." or "These are Gauge 1 rails which Dirk specially converted to the LEGO gauge...". But there was also enough time to change trains again and again and to take many photos and videos. Busy activity on the visitor days Another highlight was Florian's video car, which transmitted the track from the driver's perspective via radio to the specially installed screen. So the spectators could get to know the community centre from this unusual perspective. Flo's video train follows Holger's little ICE Our rail vehicles from the rail bus to numerous steam locomotives to modern high-speed trains such as the Thalys or ICE 3 were able to let off steam for three days and collect several kilometres. There were no major train accidents to report, but one or the other collision could not be avoided. And the so-called "filigree shit" (all the details on the bogies and under the locomotive) could prove itself, whether it was built stable enough and not every minute threatened to fall off and stay on the tracks. The dismantling was finished after about three hours and all participating exhibitors made their way back to Hamburg, Dresden, Munich or Wörrstadt. No enjoy some videos of our collaboration train layout at Bricking Bavaria 2019: Overall capture of your collaboration train layout: Big Boy on my "8" Train chase Best regards, HoMa and the Noppenbahner
  6. Sorry about that title. I would like to present the first part of an Eslandola plantation collaboration of Garmadon & Captain Braunsfeld: The EWTC Oat Planation of Pontelli. If you look carefully you might spy some strange characters: ... strange transporting activities ... .. birds that need to be fed... .. and sometimes, trees are growing overnight: Size of this grand EWTC plantation part: 64 x 64. C&C Welcome. Over to Garmadon.
  7. Shortly before heading off to the docks of Pontelli to check out a new small armed sloop while waiting for his first mate to return from Eslandola's Old World capital of Terelli... Captain Whiffo strode up and down the porch in ecstacy, gazing out across the large, verdant plantation now covered with ready-to-harvest oats. The workers scurrying hither and yon (under the watchful eyes of their monkey supervisors which Mayor da Pontelli had provided, of course) were an absolute pleasure to behold. The East Trade Wind Company had finally taken the large step he had meditated so long, and in no time it would assuredly be as large, powerful, and rich in the new world as it ever was in the old! (One of the monkey supervisors on his courier:) Wheels rattled along the road and the Captain looked up intelligently, if not mysteriously (mostly, you see, because he loved mystery, not because there was any real mystery in the whole affair). For once he was not carrying his beloved cutlass, as he was not sure but that it would get in the way while showing de Chauncourtois' niece about the house and new plantation which she had come out to see (though he was sorely inclined to regret leaving it behind as its clanking was the only thing missing - he thought - to perfect the sensation of mysteriousness) - but he might as well as have spared his pains, for he could have known from previous experience that his cutlass and his habit of rapping it on his hook and smashing it into everything was a constant source of amusement to de Chauncourtois' good-humored niece. The carriage rolled to a stop just before the door - and Captain Whiffo, throwing the cutlass with an effort out of his mind (for the present), bowed slightly and offered her his hand. "Good day, miss, shall I show you inside?" ...Speaking of which! - Let's go inside, shall we? Originally I had only been planning on the hinging wall, but in the end, the roof was detachable as well, so thankfully the interior was very easy to take pictures of! It is furnished with a large kitchen, Some furniture... An instrument - And a good-sized (if not over-sized ) fireplace: A few closeups: The pig-pen (the colors of which were inspired especially by Ayrlego's recent challenge entry, along with the rest of that collab)... And a final overview: And, I've finally finished! Just about ever since the launch of the Brethren of the Brick Seas I've been meaning to build a large plantation for the ETWC, but only recently have I been able to actually get around to planning and building it. Here's my section of the collab with Captain Braunsfeld (be sure to check out his excellent section here) for Eslandola's East Trade Wind Company. It took a great deal longer than I was hoping for (mostly due to RL), but I'm rather happy with how it turned out, and it was definitely fun (and somewhat challenging at times) to attempt to make it clearly part of the same plantation and yet give it my own touch (well, I suppose that last part came pretty naturally! ) Special thanks to Captain B for working on this collab and waiting very patiently for my side here to be complete! Credit goes to Gideon for the door design and to Legopard for the chair (slightly altered here), and the carriage is a modification of the one found in LEGO's excellent POTC London Chase. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  8. I'm looking for 2 particular MOC's, but haven't had any luck finding them; - Both are collaborations of serveral builders with a cyberpunk/futuristic/dystopian city theme. - Google isn't my friend anymore... I keep finding the 2013 Cyberapocalypse build or the 2011 Cybercity build, which aren't it. The 1st one; - Found it; A Bus Stop In Bucharest. The 2nd one; - Isn't so recent as the 1st one, more around 08/09-ish, maybe even older? - Had a train/metro on the foreground with a road above it. - Hoverboarders on the side of the road on some sort of track. - Police vehicles + police figs occupying the road itself. - An overpass/bridge + a gang of 'Akira' styled bikers riding underneath it. - Had vehicles caught in a traffic jam. - Was hosted on an own server, no Flickr/MOCpages. - Was called 'City 17', 'Sector 7' or something similar to that. - Found it; Zero Hour on Highway 44. Please drop a comment if you happen to know what I'm talking about. Mod's you may close this thread/topic, if you feel like it.
  9. It's harvesting season in Bardo on An Toli. Eager workers are doing their business and collect the cotton. Which is then transported to the manufacturing facilities. Especially to those of MCTC itself, like the huge one in Weelond. Will this ball of cotton become a shirt? Or a pair of trousers? Who knows, who knows... Lady Estrella and her niece Clara enjoy the flowers in the garden. Estrella once demanded that small garden, to have some deviation from the ever-white cotton fields. Clara however is always keen on learning new details. "How is that flower called?", "Why does cotton not grow on trees like apples?", "How did MCTC become so rich", "Why don't we build ships that can fly like birds?". Lady Estrella smiled and just thought to herself "you silly little girl". This poor guy is running away in pure horror. He must have seen something incredibly terrifying. Or from someone... Does he have an upaid debt? Or has committed some minor crime? Or maybe he has done nothing wrong at all, like others before him? Who knows, but fleeing seems an appropriate response anyway. The fields are in full growth, the cotton is ready. Believe it or not, Bardo is not only known for its Musicians, but also for its huge cotton plantations.
  10. For those unfamiliar with the game, Age of Empires is a real-time strategy game that requires players to build up an economy, train units, and conquer other players. A few of the guys from InnovaLUG, including myself, have really enjoyed playing the game ever since Mark (Mark of Falworth) introduced the game to us when it was on sale. We play Age of Empires II HD edition on Steam. If any of you play the game, add us! Maybe we'll get a game together sometime! Anyway, enough with the background. Several members from InnovaLUG decided to do a Flash-MOC by recreating some of the buildings from the game. We hope you enjoy! Visit the article on InnovaLUG's website to see each building separately with links to the posts on Flickr.
  11. Hey guys. For people that don't know Medieval Universe will revolve around different factions and a large storyline of different tribes and guilds. Whenever I can I will create a new segment that will be part of this universe, all references will somehow link to other scenes/brick films to come and they all connect in a big puzzle. If you've seen my brick film Medieval Election, that is apart of this universe. So to make sense the best way to explain this is, as you begin to follow this when a character is killed by another member that character will actually be gone and the guild/tribe will be affected accordingly just like real time. Anyone can feel free to join in this Universe, just make sure its castle/Medieval themed and join in the fun! Get in contact with me! one way or another and we can collaborate! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Medieval Universe - The Lion Knight Segment 1 ------------ LINK: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is the full reference I done not just a day ago: My goal is to really open up the Lego Medieval world. I feel that Medieval and castle in lego is very underrated in brick films which is a shame. Because it can cover so much different areas, the most notable is fantasy, history, lore and magic. But it doesn't end there. What this Collaboration is really about is bring people together to create something on going. Now the good thing about this is, it's very flexible. For example I've already started on a script for this. But I have seperated this into several different stories, so it will never focus on one person or group everytime rather it will expand into different realms/races and characters. Currently I have 8 different tribes/fractions I want to bring in. If you don't have any of these you are able to create your own tribe or even guild and then create a short about them, however the point of this collaboration is too really connect it to the story, so below I will have the current tribe leaders and with them of course their tribe, from there you begin to create your own tribe and from what you read and see, create a story how your characters in some way or another connect to my characters and so on. Even if they are to never meet, it is really about using your imagination to involve other peoples characters and perhaps cities and people of special interest (Heroes, kings, leaders etc.) Perhaps you will bring them up while drinking some ale with a few buddies, perhaps it will come up in a story. Or better yet if both people have the characters why not bring them in a scene together?? Its time to bring back that imagination and the best thing about this is anyone can be apart of this. How to join: *Create a Medieval/castle themed brick film: In the brick film allow it to have some kind of dialog or connection to other peoples films only that connect back to this. You can also have the option to make it have no link to any others but in some way other people will be able to connect back to yours. *Post some photos of your Medieval tribe, or character. *Provide some information about the tribe or character of interest. Optional Questions: Tell us about your homeland; Is it a village, did you grow up in the city, did you live in tents? What are you; Are you a warrior, are you a rogue? Are you perhaps a farmer, or a noble lord? What do you seek; Do you seek Fortune? Or perhaps retribution? Why do you seek it? Will you live in the already created kingdom or your very own? (Kingdoms represent Countries more or less). NOTE: If you don't have castle minifigures but want to be apart of this, I myself would be willing to put in a character for you in a short, based upon your own description of how your characters personality would be. This is also a possible option. (This also goes for people that just don't have the time to animate) (Voices are accepted). My Eight Factions; The Ravlon Lion Knights The lion knights of Ravlon, are one of the strongest Fractions of Tavenrfall. Tavernfall is located on the far eastern border of the Kingdoms of Battlinord. They are large in number, and are the only current fraction that has their own appointed King. The Lion kinghts normally never get into battles that are disputes between other fractions, and won't aid them either. Unless they enter the borders of Tavernfall they will not respond. Being close to the Eastern border allows an advantage for fishing, their main source of income. The fishes are sent through out fractions by a neutral party that distributes them. The Wolf Gang: The wolf gang was once large in number, but they became targets between other fractions and rapidly died out in numbers. Few remain, and now the current leader Allgrof is recuiting new members to join the cause of the Wolf Gang. Originally the gang started in a small village known as Wolvega. Wolvega had a lot of wolves in the surrounding areas, and the people there tamed wolves as pets at the time there were very few but they grew rapidly and within a decade they had spread of the borders of Battlinord. However they became a threat to the rangers and Thracons, are quickly died out. The few remaining are now most likely in neautral zones, and never stay in one spot for too long. There still dangerous and strong as ever. Allgrof was once a trained assassin before he became leader of the Wolf Gang. The Masked Bandits: Formerly known as ''The Beast men'' the masked bandits are the most primitive. They hunt alone, and are very precise on their target. They grew up in the wilderness, so mother nature comes to their advantage. They know the ins and out of the wilderness almost as good as the Rangers. They normally fight with spears as a preferred weapon but they are trained with swords, and crossbows as well. Their leader Sulgor, was once an enchanter. Legend has it while doing an experiment something went wrong and took away his face. He has the face of a shadow. The masked bandits originated from the Eastern lands, but Barbarians ambushed the Masked bandits and killed many, and by doing so claimed the easter lands. The Masked bandits were pushed to the west, were they finally settled but now are hungry for revenge and to claim back the lands of the East. The Northerners: The Northerners are vikings of the North, they live in primitive conditions without any prevail or consequence. Although they are vikings by nature. Sulfor who is their leader, has made plans to rebuild the roads of the north, and the roads that border to the south along with repairing all the broken buildings if he is too be elected as the new Governor. Northerners are up-rised in combat training from an early age. They become skilled swordsmen in their teens, and have generally mastered the sword and the ax along with the crossbow. Later on as they advance they begin to study the art of healing and 2 handed swords and axes. The Assassin Guild: The assassin Guild is much different to all the other fractions. They have all different types of races in their guild, and rather owning land of their own, they live in something known as a Guild Hold. It's like a big Stronghold thats just for Assassins. Normally they are lone mercenaries and pick up the daily job on who needs to be captured or removed. They get payed by a guild bank and is normally payed by other mercenaries or fractions, sometimes it can be from neutral parties, it can be privately done and even annoymas. Payment to assassins is normally 20-50% deposit it just depends on how dangerous the task is and it's duration. To join The Assassin Guild you will need to be recruited as an apprentice by a master assassin or a ranked assassin. You will need to prove yourself worthy in the following weeks as it will be the hardest. You will not be honored or be respected if you are killed as an apprentice. Assassins live dangerous lives, and are more of a neutral fraction than a fraction of its own border. They fight for gold, but don't mistake gold for glory. If they feel your job offers trouble for future income, its common for them to refuse offers, and take others in return. The Red Thracons: Thracons are one of the most feared fraction of the lot. They are conqueors, vikings of their own, they are also looters and thieves. The lowest of the lowest join the Thracons, yet even the mindful and skilled work beside the Thracons. Their Leader Ragoff was a skilled negotiater and master thief. He later masted sailing and merchanting. Now he has ambitions of ruling the kingdom. The Thracons are also religious in their own way, they have their own priest, and even a healer. But they are rarely seen as they are not allowed to leave their place of duty, ever. Lombards: Lombards are a barbarian tribe, but they are not barbaric. They listen to reason, but fight for cause. They have their banners set in the west, but live south west of the border. They live in Lamdens Reach, a place where the source of minerals is high, there is plenty of wheat to harvest, and plenty of ore to mine. They are rich in resources and Landens Reach is were most of the iron weaponry is made. The leader of the Lombards, is Frapgorn the second, he comes from a family tradition of his family leading the Lombards for several centuries. His father died 5 years ago, after one of his horses slid on a rocky mountain and the whole carriage tumbled down, which no one survived. Frapgorn is loyal to his cause, and his cause is to take down the rangers of the south, and to claim the forest of Alvonore, where the source of wood is rich, and the rivers ponder with fish. The Lombards and Thracons have been at war with each other for quite some time. They did make a peace treaty that was meant to stop them from fighting off each other, but borders are always being neglected and it has caused outbreak between them. The Lombards are well trained from their ancestors who were originally vikings themselves, close combat melee is in their blood and they will not surrender for no one. Lombards are all generally very loyal and would never turn on one another, they are all like family to each other, all having a similar history and childhood. Rangers of Avonore: The rangers of the South, or better known as the Rangers of Avonore hold a very strong reputation for their master skill of range attacks. They are well known as the rogues of the forest, and are only seen when they want to be seen. They normally always bundle up in groups and almost never fight alone. They have mastered the skill of range, but will fight in close combat as well. Their precision is deadly, and they hardly miss. They are also merchants by trade and live by selling off items such as bows and arrows, hunted animals, and animal hides. Their leader Halgar is a solid swordsmen, but also a realist. He knows that without the help of another fraction the rangers will soon go into exile, the attacks for resources of the south rise each day, and potential threats are just the beginning. He seeks to form an alliance with another fraction to protect his homeland and his rangers. Thats all the current fractions I have, if you want you can feel free to add your own. There is no limitations or restrictions! NOTE: One important thing I forgot to mention is that please know that if you do be apart of this, your projects/films will and always be your own content. If the film is collaborated together, each persons film will be credited by their rightful creators. This all team effort and together we stay strong :) Also for reference for the northerners and The Masked Bandit see video below: For Thracons and the Lombards see this video below: Sincerely, Divine.
