Hi all. I'd like to share a MOC I made over a year ago which I only just got around to photographing recently. I wanted to do something with the new trans yellow windscreens (well new at the time anyway!) and built that area... and then built the engine... and then had to figure out how to connect them together! I like how sleek it ended up. I confess to swooshing it a few times... ;-) I also played around with greebling on the underside and that turned out to be surprisingly tricky to do, my hat is off to those people who make it look effortless. I referred to it as 919 mainly because it is closest to 918 -"One Man Spaceship", which is the largest Classic Space ship I had as a kid. But I didn't set out to make an update to 918... An Italian Classic Together with Gabriele Zannotti aka zanna I've been working on a scale model of a FIAT 500 for almost two years now. I've actually already made a topic on EB a while ago but the model has improved a lot since then and we also took some cool pictures of the real life model so I decided it would be appropriate to post a new thread. The model As it stands right now the model is made of 1210 pieces and has plenty of details and features to offer. The boot which is located at the front can be opened revealing the fuel tank, a toolbox and an actual spare tyre. The bonnet in the back is decorated with several custom decals depicting the various cooling vents as well as the license plate and additional details. It can be opened which allows you to see the detailed 500cc straight twin engine. Furthermore, the doors can be opened and the front seats tilted forward allowing you to access the rear seat bench. On sunny days you can also swap out the closed sun-roof for the opened variant. 1967 Eleanor Mustang + Instructions

The classic 1967 Ford Eleanor GT500 was a fearsome beast in its day, with a 428 cubic inch big block rippling the pavement courtesy of an astounding 355 horsepower. It's also the car made famous as "Eleanor," Steve McQueen's awesome ride in the original 1974 movie Gone In Sixty Seconds. Hello, I have for sale (1) Lego Limited Edition 60th Anniversary House set. The set is new sealed although the left circle seal is peeling which is apparently a very common problem with the sets. Please PM me with serious offers if you are interested. I am willing to ship internationally but I have never shipped international before so allow me extra days to fill out forms properly. Introduction; This MOC is my first attempt, specified in landscape, of this size. The Story; "... In a galaxy far far away, somewhere in one of its corners, there is an unknown and isolated planet. In the center of the area where life has been developed, lies its oldest structure. A stone column with unknown carvings. But this is not the only peculiar thing about it. Every year, it lights up on its own and an abrupt hum is emitted. The next moment, something magical is happening! It's like the whole planet is coming alive - a heady aroma is overflowing everywhere, the flowers bloom, animals wake up and everyone enjoys this magical moment. This day has arrived, and all three tribes of the planet have gathered to celebrate the day of life. In the monorail system that I have been developing on and off since 2013 (from the Hidaka monorail that uses a City prototype of the Osaka monorail), I have built a Classic Space monorail train. The train has a new drive-train and is geared down 5:3 so that the heavier train will climb well. It is still based on a train motor but I stopped using belt drive. The average speed is up to 0.57m/s. The lights on the right-hand axle will flash when the train moves. This uses the other channel of the IR Receiver. The battery box (AAAs or LiPo) is behind the Space logo and is easy to change. There is a removable module system. The module on the train unfolds to become a scooter. There is a medical stretcher module and a power module on the ground. It has proven to be reliable on my loft layout. I will do a video in due course. I need to get the lighting right as it was too dark last time I did a video in the loft. As well as a second Classic Space train and a 2-motor goods train with extra wagons, I have prototypes for Futuron, Blacktron and M-Tron trains. More pics of the system here Mark

Alright then. It's almost here this twenty-eighteen...and time is ticking on the vote for favorite classic set of 2017. I was lucky enough to visit GB this past summer with my daughter and visited the flagship Leicester store. Like a pilgrimage to my youth, I was astounded by the lineup to set my feet into the shop. Once inside, the muscles in my neck grew two-fold as I was awed by the displays. I managed to pick up some goodies there...about a case full...and was impressed with the classic creator building box #10703...still not available to us in North America. I have to say, it is by far my favorite classic set of seventeen. I ask my fellow members, what is your favorite?

All, After more then 2 year without working on a new Technic MOC I am now ready to present my new project: A classic roadster based on a Jaguar XK120. I managed to built it in white and separate the frame and the bodywork completety. Due to this there is also a frame version with full RC. It can be build in red and black as well without major adaptations. More pictures, video and instructions to follow.... When I got the green baseplate 16x32 I knew I need to build small diorama on it. From some time I wanted to build something in Dark Bluish Gray colour for testing purpose. I am going to build bigger castle in that colour. I also had returning idea of creating hanging bridge. And that's how this fast MOC evolved. Neo Classic Space "Intergalactic Star - Cruiser" (inspired by Benny's ship)

This Classic Space ship was built for my brothers' fleet by me. The windscreen is not available (yet), but it does come on a 2017 not-yet-released Star Wars set. I believe I am the first to use that cockpit for a CS build. This ship features six guns and five crew members, with seats for each inside the easily accessible interior. The front of the ship should feature one of this print. The model has two smaller boosters and one (quite large) engine made of 20 smaller ones. The front canopy and the middle roof lift away individually to reach into the crew areas. Each of the five crew members has a seat. Behind this leaded glass resides the nuclear fusion reactor, the heart of the ship. The five brave crew members, one of which should be wearing this uniform instead as the ship's commander. The LDD file is available here. As usual, comments, questions and complaints are always welcome! I don't know if this one will be built in real bricks, to tell you the truth, as my brother may or may not ever build it. (But if he doesn't I will someday!) -
This classic-styled UFO is just a fun little project I came up with while messing around with the new slopes that came out on the London Bus / VW Beetle. I have had it pointed out to me it looks somewhat similar to the car in some cartoon TV show I don't watch called 'Rick & Morty." I don't know for sure, but looking at pictures online, it seems like I could have been subliminally influenced by those video ads on Facebook I've scrolled past recently. The ship has two engines and an opening cockpit with seating for one figure at the controls. Meet Norma Alley, who goes about everyday the same way, for her whole life. Get up alone, got to work where no-one knows you, then she gets to a bar where her crush doesn't even know you exist, and finally go to bed in your tiny apartment with your cat that couldn't care less if you came home at all... only to start thew whole process over the next day. (Man, that was the most depressing and sad thing I've ever written, and was partially inspired by the Paul McCartney song "Another Day".) LDD file included here for the ship and it's pilot figure. Any thoughts, questions and complaints are welcome, though i don't know if I will build this one in real bricks. It is possible to do so, but as this is just a table-scrap, I probably will not built it.

4 wide is the good ol' desgin we all probably had played with quite a few years back. However, due to limited space and options, i found designing some accurate cars not that easy. I still just gave it a try to see how much detail i can crank in there without it being unstable. The aim was too keep the spirit of 4 wides intact, yet have the car recognisable. I decided to go 5 wide (allthough the inside chassis is the classic 4x10) since supercars tend to be a lot wider than regular cars. I did two variants for two brands. Perhaps this is to someones liking - instructions are availiable. (per mail) and yes, they fit a minifig! ...there is also some detailed dashboard and steering wheel inside. Hello, World! Over the past seven (7) years, I had hand-built about four dozen microcontroller development boards (like what is used for the "programmable brick"), like "Arduino", but I have expanded way beyond Arduino. LEGO Classic Large Brick Box (10698) Using my LEGO Classic elements, purchased in January 2017, is it possible to add mechanisms to make my MOCs "animated"? I am still a newbie at LEGO and I don't know where to search for my answer. My previous Google searches gave the outcomes focused on train projects. I did see some stuff at Lego.com that might work, but I have no real clue if that's what I'm looking for. Because I could not find what I'm looking for, I'm guessing that LEGO is purposely discouraging my MOC idea to promote the EV3. I'm not planning on building complex MOCs, such as a walking robot, however, I would like to build something with 5VDC stepper motors and the needed gears, such as a robotic arm with calipers. I may only need the "accessories" as I can purchase the stepper motors, locally. What I've seen online, are stepper motors already attached to accessories. Though I can build what I want without using any LEGO elements, I just know to know if it is possible to use my LEGO Classic elements in a way to act like a Mindstorms product. Linux Development By the way, I am GNU/Linux developer with almost 20 years of GNU/Linux experiences and almost 28 of programming in C. I am just wondering, if my own technical skills can be used to invent unique LEGO MOCs that are animated under a GNU/Linux environment. I desperate need inspiration to build MOCs, too! Thanks for Reading! By now, after reading my posts, one could probably guess that I want to build my own, specialized MOCs, which is true! I'm one that is not gifted with money and I do know LEGO products are expensive, so in the event I do buy another LEGO product, I want it to be a "main ingredient" to my MOC projects. Which Forum do I post my Hybrid Classic - City Police posts?

Hello, World! As a veteran computer programmer, I tend to start off my (often boring) posts with "Hello, World", despite being a retired webmaster and blogger. Which Forum do I post my Hybrid Classic - City Police posts? My primary LEGO theme is Classic. My secondary LEGO theme is City with the sub-theme, Police. I could not find the "Classic" forum; maybe because I am still a new user in Eurobricks and have not written the required 10 (or so) posts. Presently, my LEGO photos are posted in my LEGO DeviantArt gallery; I haven't yet discovered how to "hotlink" the photos into Eurobricks since photo hosting isn't allowed. My DeviantArt site is "primary" into receiving 99% of my digital art posts (the remaining 1% are my profile photos and backgrounds). My plan is to soon include my radio scanner ("Police Radio") hobby with my newly founded LEGO hobby. Since I am still learning LEGO Classic, itself, I plan to include my three City Police minifigs. (My real-life radio equipment were made in Japan!) My "CyberSecurity" interests may be part of my LEGO Classic - City Police hybrid posts! Though it is only an idea, it is an idea I am thinking of doing. Thanks for Reading! As usual, I am and was never known to write numerous posts within a short timeline. I tend to write a couple or a few posts, in which the content of each post, varies between mid-range to huge. Hi everybody! :) Here is by some one of the most beautiful LEGO castle sets. I would agree with that statement and add a twist to it, my twist :) So here is my "upgrade" (hopefully not a downgrade) to the classic Black Knight's Castle set (Btw the big boxy tower in the background is an electrical switch cover for the lighting actually and not directly connected with the castle, but built in more or less the same style) Hope you enjoy it and give comments and/or ideas
