    Luke Skywalker Lightsabre

Hi all, This is my Luke Skywalker lightsabre project: the copy of lightsabre used in StarWars ep.VI ( my favourite episode of the series ). I published this in Lego ideas with two version of the stand: white/tan and black/light green: this is my favourite version. I made it with LDD and rendered with blurender so i don't know if this is the right place where to post. I hope you Like it:

    B5 Starfury Thunderbolt MOC

Hi, folks. As a fan of Babylon 5 who just watched S2-S4 again, while I've seen a few B5 MOCs in my travels I don't think I've ever seen a Thunderbolt before, so I thought I'd give it a try in LDD (pic via Bluerender w/Bublible MOD). This is v0.2: I think the proportions are OK given the restrictions of minifig-ish scale (I haven't tried putting minifigs in it in LDD as I didn't intend to IRL so I may be a bit off) and available Lego pieces. Can't quite model all the curves and angles, though! My reference for this was the pic below. I flipped round the vanes on the engines to be on the outside and while it'd be easy enough to reconnect them the other way round I'd have to lengthen the engine modules a plate or two to allow it to fit alongside the wings. In the series the vanes rotated between space (per the below) mode & atmospheric mode (mine), but I haven't tried to build-in that function. Maybe v0.3... Top view: Side view: And front(ish - as close as I could get with LDD & Bluerender) view: 360 rotation Problem #1 is the wedge plate 2x2 I've used tons of in LBG don't seem to be available in LBG yet. I tried to use only available parts in the colours I selected, but missed that one. I'm pretty sure most of the rest is available as-built, though. Problem #2 may be the strength of the SNOT connections to keep the nose section on... only building it IRL will prove that one out! Anyhow, if there are any other B5 fans out there, I hope this makes you smile a bit.

  9. This is first MOC from my new LEGO Space pseudo subtheme called C.S.Neo - that is, basically as the name suggest, neo Classic Space build except I used that still considered new green CS minifig appointing that it is meant to be in the same line or kind of continuation of their Ideas set "Exosuite"...I hope you'll like it. 11. Hello, everyone! A while back I made a model of Anakin Skywalker's Podracer in LDD. It was heavily-based on the 2011 edition of the set. This version that I am presenting you now is an original design of mine, I think it is much more accurate and detailed than my original concept. I rendered the picture in Bluerender. The model has 187 pieces. Please offer any comments, criticisms, or praises! AnakinPodracerV2.lxf

  14. Perfect future that our ancestors were waiting hasn’t come. High technologies couldn’t give happiness to everyone. Endless space was too cold and empty. Timid attempts of travelling to nearest stars have shown that there is no planet like Earth in the nearest space. And Earth was overpopulated. And even space colonies on Mars and Moon couldn’t help. There was giant lack of food and clean water. Nowadays it’s impossible to find the truth about those days. Anyway this truth will change nothing. The fact is billiards of people died. Some say the reasons were wars, famine and climate changes. Some say it was well planned genocide. New world order wasn’t perfect. Only few people could stay on Earth. All facilities were transported to space in order to clean the planet. Most of people had to go there too. Moreover progress in automation and robotechnologies made most of them unemployment. Argues between Earth and colonies turned into wars. That moment it has become obvious that humanity will disappear if it doesn’t find new home. Project “The Ark”. 30 giant space ships. There were 100 billions of cryocells on every ship. They had to start the journey to the far space in order to find a planet, where the colony could be set up. Those days navigation was too bad to find a way back. So it was one way ticket. Potential colonists were very different: there were enthusiasts, refugees, criminals, scientists, beggars, homeless, businessmen and politics. Some of them were looking for better life, some wanted to save the humanity and some searched new opportunities. And the project failed. After decades of quest only 8 ships have found a suitable planet. The others had to survive in severe conditions. And 10 ships were lost. However this poor steps become the base of true human expansion to space. SHIPtember 2015: The Ark by Sunder_59, on Flickr

  18. https://scontent-iad...052101583_o.jpg This is the first release of the bridge layout design for the second class of ships in this design group. There is a long way to go on fitting the bridge out and I have ideas on what all I want to incorporate on this design so I think it's going to be a long design process. Please feel free to comment.
  19. Hello all! While 75915 is an excellent set, the helicopter is not quite accurate enough for me. I then set about creating an accurate version in LDD. I used msx80's wonderful program Bluerender to create the image. Movie Accurate JW Helicopter I hope to Bricklink the parts to build this for real someday. It seats three, two in the cockpit and one in the gunner's seat. I hope you enjoyed my simple LDD MOC. Comments and criticism welcome!
