  2. Monas is a Local Landmark of Jakarta, Indonesia. Inspired by this Yul Burman Karel’s Monas MOC, but I redesigned it. Monas by Kamal Muftie Yafi, on Flickr I actually want to make this model for join this "Local Landmarks contest" in this forum, but the rules state: “All entries are to include only real LEGO. No clone brands, 3rd party parts, or digital entries allowed.”, Sadly, I don’t have all the part that need to create this model, though all the parts are exist in real life. Well, at least this could be an addition to my (digital) creations.
  3. I was wondering if anyone has tried exporting files from stud.io and importing them into Blender and if you were successful. The main reason I use LDraw is to create stuff I use in Blender, and Stud.io looks interesting. But if it doesn't work with Blender there is no point in me using it. Also, if I get around to creating LDraw parts and I use Stud.io, then I wouldn't be able to use those either? I read that Stud.io uses the LDraw libraries so it should work... Thanks!

  12. Hello, I finally completed all the tasks from my todo list in order to release this Blender file. It includes a script I coded to easily render models built from Mecabricks. I wrote a detailed post here that also includes all the necessary resources. Renderings can be uploaded on mecabricks and I created a dedicated section in the gallery for them. Please have a look at this video tutorial and head to this page to download the template and more. This template is supposed to be a live document and therefore all suggestions and improvements are welcome for next revision!

  16. I was searching forum for MOC but no results appeared, so my question is: is here some post dealing just with MOC models that I was unable to find or can I start my own later around it...or is it somewhat prohibited maybe and therefor no MOC topics?
  17. Howdy Guys! I just came across the vast library of LEGO Ldraw files and I decided to download a couple of the and then exporting them as .3ds files. I went ahead and opened Blender 3D (which is the program I use to animate) but when I import the files the program crashes. I have no idea why this happens. Maybe I need to fiddle around with some settings when I export the model to a .3ds file. I don't know. My question to you is, why is this happening? Is there a proper way to export the .3ds model so that Blender won't crash on me? I would really appreciate some help. Thanks In Advance, Tolora
  18. I've just completed and uploaded a short mock battle between brickfilms and CGI animations made using Blender. The concept was from my friend, and he supplied the Blender footage. I filmed the brickfilm contributions and edited it all together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6jXQA51Spc
