    Batmobile [MOC]

I was inspired by @Digger of Bricks's suggestion of a batmobile that uses the nexo knights canopy so I decided to throw something together for Batman's 80th anniversary . It isn't based on any one version of batman's iconic vehicle but takes inspiration from many of the numerous depictions of this famous car. I'll apologise in advance for my lacking photography skills. You can see Batman's head but sadly that's all as a whole minifig can't fit inside. I was originally going to use a the smaller fin shown above but I preferred that look of the larger bat wings. I was going to make the stripe blue and use this part but I thought the grey looked better.Anyway thanks taking a look, comments and criticism are welcome.

    [MOC] Pursuit in Russia

Hi everyone, I just finished my next build. Batman is luring the Parademons away from the Mother Boxes. The Justice League can take on Steppenwolf to stop him from terraforming the planet. For more pictures, look into my Flickr album. Feedback and questions are welcome. Sander

    Justice League Batmobile

Hi everyone, I have been busy with several builds and my last build is the Batmobile. It is based on the version of the Justice League movie and I am planning to build a small landscape based on the scene in Russia. It took a few hours to get the shape right and this is the result. I have a few other pictures on the model. The pictures are in my Flickr album. Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander

    MOC Batman’s Mini Tumbler

I know this has been done to death but this was my first moc and I found it whilst clearing out some junk this morning and was really pleased with it all over again! Based on Zeto Vince’s Tumbler, as I’m sure these things all were four or five years ago, I made this before I discovered Bricklink so sourced all the parts from Lego’s Pickabrick and eBay, so it was stupidly expensive to build. I might have a go at refining it but for now, here you go :)

  6. Bat Wolf, the chopper seen in the Lego Batman Movie, it first appeared when Robin managed to sneak into the Bat Cave, and appeared again around the 1 hr 05 min mark in the movie. Its image is also included in the LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: The Making of the Movie book. Its not a very accurate build as my only reference was still images from the movie, so I went for simple, straight-forward building technics for this chopper :) Regards, KMP www.facebook.com/kmpmocs

    Batcave MOC

Here is our LEGO Batcave. I realize there have been many amazing Batcave MOCS, but I wanted to give it a go anyhow. This is about 2 months of my LEGO building time. Lights are from Brickstuff. The biggest building challenge, besides the pure size, was to try to have decent rock work, and lots of different angles going on. Not sure the photos do that justice, but I was pretty happy with the overall result. I drew inspiration from some other MOC's I a have seen, and various incarnations of the Batcave in the comics. Also I have some minor homages to the previous LEGO Batcaves worked in, the Sewer from the first one, some of the details from the new Classic Batcave, and ..... very little I suppose from the 6860 set. I tried to go for a 'working' Batcave. Something with labs, work-spaces, etc. The wood section is supposed to be a leftover from the original foundation which was simply built up around. And I thought it was nice to add a little different color visually. There is a working elevator to an updated Wayne Manor that sits directly above the Batcave, I'll be adding photos of that soon. 8. Hello everybody, I've been reading these forums for well over two years now, but this is actually my first post. I'm usually not the most outspoken of persons (to put it mildly) and I mostly feel I don't have much of significance to add. TC13 however compelled me to finally break my silence. I'm a big fan of the little pullback vehicles and my favourite technic MOC is also one of those. But now let's get on with the topic. A strange black vehicle has been racing around in these parts: I also managed to take a spy pic (unfortunately it turned out mostly black, or maybe very, very, very dark grey): I'll try to get more details soon. Stay tuned. Sebastian

    [MOC] Rebirth Batmobile

This Batmobile appears in the Rebirth Detective Comics #1. It takes lightly the design of the TAS Batmobile. Special Thanks to Lucas who inspired me for some parts of this Batmobile. 11. The Batmobile from Batman v Superman is perhaps my favourite Batmobile design to date. I decided to build a UCS scale version and make it as authentic to the prop car as possible. The cockpit struts and roof panels were inspired by KKB-N7's excellent LDD rendition. Features include detailed interior, rolling wheels, and rotating front turret. More photos on flickr.
  12. Hello everyone !!! So after some on and off work designing this thing both IRL & LDD i am very proud and happy to show you my Batmobile as it appears on Batman V Superman. I tried to make this model as accurate as i could and the recent images, game DLC´s & toys helped a lot,not only that but the model is very stable and i know this is a small detail that´s pretty much standard with other Batmobiles but... i managed to make the wheels roll with all the armor on it !!! :D So let´s start with the front, definetly a challenging part to do as at first i had no idea how to pull off the shapes & angles, not only that but belive it or not i had trouble doing the turret Things got difficult on the sides, as the actual car has a lot of angles and shapes that are almost impossible to make a 100 % acurate representation on this scale.... however i think i did a fairly decent job doing those The back was fairly simple to do... it took me a while to find a correct size of tires but once i did everything went smoothly.... BTW Credit to JANGBRICKS for the idea of using that motor piece for the Turbine/engine/exaust pipe... So that´s pretty much it guys i hope you like this build as much as i do and if you do want to build this yourself here´s a link were you can buy the instructions : http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/222084491318? Happy building !! -Prime
  13. NOTE: For those who don't know, I'm creating a little futuristic dystopia with my Space Police IV setup as seen in the Sci-Fi section of Eurobricks. Recently, I rediscovered my modified version of the 2014 SDCC "1966 Batmobile" model and decided that my futuristic SPIV dystopia needs a cosmic caped crusader hero. I then added hover pods to the car which feature this print on the bottom of the model. Batman is supposed to be this version, while Robin is here. The front of the Batmobile is something no criminal wants in there rear view mirror! Since this is the far-future, this Batmobile features a on-board Wi-Fi connection to the Bat-computer back home under stately Wayne Manor. The Dynamic Duo are supposed to wear re-breathers, as the car is not air-tight. They would not fit on the figs in LDD, but they do in real life, even with the cape and cowl on Batman. The LDD file is available here, if anyone wants to build this in real bricks as I will (eventually) be doing. Any comments, questions, and / or complaints are always welcome!

    A.M.G. Batmobile

There are some folk on this forum who build stunning Batmobiles from scratch,I`m not one of them, but I do like to "tweak" stuff, and when I saw this A.M.G. Mercedes with it`s set back cockpit and long bonnet ,it yelled Batmobile at me.....maybe Mr Wayne took some machine shop college classes and put this together? Take care everybody Kenny IMG_2855 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2853 by kenny burns, on Flickr IMG_2848 by kenny burns, on Flickr

    Batman Beyond Batmobile

Attempted to make one of these a few years ago and it looked like butt, so it was time for an update. Batmobile (Batman Beyond) by Henchmen4Hire, on Flickr There aren't any groundbreaking techniques, I simply went at it with dogged determination trying to get the silhouette just right. Looked at various artist's versions of this Batmobile to get ideas, then decided to add a bunch of wedges to the hull because slanty lines make things go faster. (Also, they help create a gradual rounded effect.) There are tons of places that can be tweaked to attach weapons and stuff by virtue of the straightforward construction. The Batmobile in the cartoons is deceptively big, Batman can sit in there behind the wrap-around console and swivel comfortably, there's even plenty of headroom for his long spiky ears. Being designed for a single passenger, the BB Batmobile has a cramped backseat, I think the rear end is supposed to be filled with the engines, reserve ammunition, etc. However, I ended up with lots of space in there, so Terry can even bring Ace or his mouthy friends along for a ride. •Windscreen flips open •Added 4 airbrakes the flip up •Moving the 2x2 wedge by the windscreen reveals a narrow viewport •The engine nacelles (I think we can call them that) are semi-hollow to add a flip-out cannon or whatever in there. •Adjustable control sticks •Rear hatch flips open Batmobile (Batman Beyond) by Henchmen4Hire, on Flickr

    [MOD] Dark Knight's Tumbler

This is my mod of Lego 76001 Tumbler :) Sharing the same major flaw of 76001 Tumbler, this doesn't have 4 rear wheels and certain parts at the back are not available in black colour, but overall I'm satisfied with its sturdiness and shape. Hope you guys like it ! Regards, KMP www.facebook.com/kmpmocs/

    [MOC] Modular DCEU Batmobile

Hello everyone, I am super excited to finally show you my new and improved DCEU Batmobile. If you remember, last year i built a BvS Batmobile and i actually sold a lot of it's instructions, first of all i want to thank everyone who bought those ! However i felt like that model didn't make Patrick Tatopoulos amazing design justice. Thanks to the feedback that a lot of you guys provided i was able to improve upon those areas. My main goals for this new model were: -Being able to change looks from BvS to Jl. -Be more stable on the wheel connections. -Make the wheelguards more stable. -Make it smaller. -Use the "new" windshield piece. Which led me to some intense months of building and testing. But i am very pleased with the final result, not only is it in better scale compared to a minifg, but it's also more accurate in some areas. One of which i am very proud of are the wheel guards. Here's the BvS configuration, and by far my favorite i think Patrick Tatopoulos and his team did a great job with the design so it was very important for me to get it right this time. Fun fact: this was the first variant i did, i just modded it to change the look to how it appears on JL & SS. So here's the SS configuration, it's basiclly the same as BvS except it doesn't have the turret on, So as you can see this is way smaller, and more accurate in scale with a minifig, i would say it's still waaaay too big to be in proper scale but it's definetly better than the previous one. Here's the front of the thing. It's slimmer and prettier than my previous model imo, not to mention that it is a bit more accurate, i must say that i rally like the use of the grey Galaxy guns to represent the flaps that the car has IRL. (sorry for the blurry pic there) Here's the side of the thing, I must admit that the previous model had more details on the side but i think this looks fine, especially considering this is way smaller. I want to point out that the orange piece does not exist on the actual JL car, i just added it for the sake of having different colors on it, the piece also exists on Dark Bluish Grey so that's a easy fix if you don't like it. Here's the back of the thing, By far one of my favorite views of the model, it may lack some of the details my previous model had but i like this a lot more, i think the wheel guards look really good in this angle too which just adds to the overall look. I also tried some new techniques which help get the look right. And i also tried a new building instructions software which makes for some LEGO quality building experience which i hope you all enjoy. If you want to check it out you can click the image on my signature I hope you all like this as much as i do, as always feedback is much apreciated ! Regards -Prime

    [MOD] Justice League Batmobile

Full post here Who has the coolest gadgets? BATMAN!! Who has the tricked-out ride? BATMAN!! Well, like him or hate him, you gotta admit the Batmobile is pretty darn cool. Especially in Justice League, with all the extra guns slapped on top. I thought the JL Batmobile looked rather awesome, but when pics of the Flying Fox set came out, I wasn’t thrilled by LEGO’s official version. But this is LEGO, so I modded the 76045 Kryptonite Interception set and added the extra guns! Check it out! BEFORE AFTER You can see I added the cannon above the cockpit, the guns on either side, as well as the main cannons in front. Some of the reference images clashed so this was the best I could do. Thanks for looking! Let me know your thoughts in a comment below!
  19. Hello People :) After all this time I’m back with a new creation . The reason you haven’t seen anything for so long is because I went through a process of rethinking the way I build . I used to mainly recreate models from Star Wars or DC comics , with a sole purpose of making the MOC look as accurate to the original as possible , sacrificing stability , playability and overall good structure most of the time . I was no longer satisfied with that . From now on my goals are to build MOCs that both look good , and also are fun , playable , contain smart play features and generally function well as toys. The first result of this “new style” is what you see below : my own original Batmobile. While it draws inspiration from a couple of Batmobiles ( mainly Arkham Knight’s and BvS’s) it is my own spin on the classic vehicle , the Predator . It’s packed with action features : a stud shooter turret , a “hook” style spring-loaded shooter, opening trunk with all the gear you’ll need ( batarangs , a new remote batarang made from some old knight helmet feathers , extra ammo and a line launcher ) and the ability to transform between two modes , one ideal for battles and one built for speed. Also, the turret can be swapped out for a winch , which can be attached to the front spring loaded shooter and then shot - you can catch enemies’ vehicles , bring down walls , shoot it towards a roof and then climb , the possibilities are endless. I have also built a display MOC for my Batmobile - which is the first segment of what will eventually become a full Batcave . It has working lights and spins slowly - as a car turntable should. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this . Do you like this new style of building ? Do you like the look of the car ? What about the functions ? Do you want to see a full Batcave ? Your comments are very important to me :)

    1966 Lego Batmobile

MOC Presentation I am huge Batman fan and have passed that love to my 4 year old daughter. I have been building LEGO sets with her for some time now her favorite sets are TMNT, Friends & Batman. She was upset that the store bought Batmobiles did not allow Robin to sit in the Batmobile along side Batman. Therefore i made her the most iconic Batmobile, the 1966 version. This era Batman is fun and campy perfect for a four year old. I collected pieces for my build over a month. I dug through my childhood collection, picked bricks from "Classic Plastic Bricks in Ellicott City, pulled some pieces off my other Batmobiles and ordered parts off brick link to complete the build. The construction took about a week with many revisions specifically to the length of the vehicle. It was all guess and check I did not have any plans other than what was in my head Please support my 1966 Adam West LEGO Batmobile on the 'LEGOIdeas' Website. We have nearly 5,000 votes but need your help to reach our goal of 10K. Thank you for your consideration! Sam https://ideas.lego.com/projects/61339
  21. If "Lego Batman" replaced Mr Affleck, then would the Batmobile look more like this perhaps?.....black and yellow is supposed to be the new black after all!..(also I thought the original colour scheme was a bit dull.) 22. Hello everyone !! I've been a huge fan of the Tumbler most of my life, it's my favorite Batmobile... mainly because this is the one i grew up with, i remember having set 7888 back when i had 8 and being blown away by how "accurate" it was (man i was soooo wrong). I eventually realized this and tried several times to make a Tumbler that was accurate and minifig scale specially after i saw the real thing back on 2012 this wish became more intense but i ultimatelly failed almost every time (You can actually see most of those in my Flickr page...please don't) something was missing... while i was on my free time (this is last year btw) i popped on the BTS disk of Batman Begins for the 100th time lol, the making of the tumbler featurette always inspires me, the whole process of how Nolan planned and how the made it work is just so amazing to me, so i gave it a last try.... fortunally for my own mental sanity... i did it. Here's my Tumbler, i tried to recreate every little thing i could while keeping it down in scale, unfortunally this is waaay too big for 100% minifig scale but i don't care lol. I know it's missing the gold bits near the nose, i re-created those with some levers which i actually painted gold i just switched them back to some black ones so it wouldn't hurt you purist guys concience Needless to say that all the angles were a nightmare to re-create, a fun nightmare non the less, all of them had to look perfect otherwise my perfectionist mind would constantly have an issue with it lol, that's why i call this the "Ultimate Tumbler" because for me it is what i would consider Ultimate within my own standards... now that i think of it, the title does sound a bit too clickbaitty for my taste,,,, ah screw it i'm sticking with it. Here's a side view of the thing. By far one of the parts i'm the happiest with is the back, sure the springs are waay to big and are not in an angle & the handle isn't as big as it should but i think it looks fairly well compared with the real vehicle. Now i hear you say..."Looks neat and all Prime but does it fit a fig?" and the answer is: Yes ! it fits two minifigs as a matter of fact. And that's about it, this has to be my favorite MOC i've done, it was such a fun ride to do and i'm really happy with the result, i actually uploaded this to the Rebrick contest Best of Batman so if you wanna check the page and leave a like and what not over there here's the link: https://www.lego.com/en-us/rebrick/view-entry?c_id={DE2F0F7A-957B-44D3-86D1-F329CD6323C8}&a_id=7f0150b1-5235-49de-a3f8-ac949f8f6739&sortEntry=true Now that the plug is over, thank you guys so much for taking the time to read this, so if you could go trought my usual horrible grammar and spelling well congrats ! Hope you have a great day ! -Prime
  23. Now a Lego Cuusoo Project! Please Support by voting at: Tumbler & Bat Pod LEGO Ideas Page The Bat LEGO Ideas Page Updated the Cover image for my Cuusoo Page to include the Minifigs Added the Minifigures that can be included with the set, designed to be movie accurate of course. From Left to Right: Lt. James Gordon, Henri Ducard, Batman Begins Suit, Ra's al Ghul, Joker, Scarecrow & Two Face From Left to Right: Selina Kyle, Dark Knight Suit, Lucius Fox, Merinda Tate & John Blake These are my renditions of the Tumbler, Bat Pod & The Bat reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can.It was great challenge building a movie accurate Tumbler as many of the surfaces are angled, not particularly easy with lego bricks that generally connects at right angle. It was even more challenging to build a movie accurate Bat Pod in minifig scale, as the original vehicle was designed to fit a normal human proportion!Tumbler measures at 19cm(L) x 12cm(W)Bat Pod measures at 16cm(L) x 4cm(W)The Bat measures about 31cm(L)x20cm(W)x13cm(H) This is by far the hardest to build among all 3 Dark Knight vehicles due to its front heavy structure and angular design, not to mention overly complicated flaps and rudders system. The interior of Tumbler & The Bat fits 2 minifigs sitting upright. Original vehicles designs and proportions recreated in minifig scale. Every vehicles details faithfully replicated and all flaps movable. Bat Pod comes with an EMP Gun holder and the wheels rotates. Details of the underside, with rotatable rotors and movable flaps. Thanks for viewing, please help support the project! Tumbler & Bat Pod LEGO Ideas Page The Bat LEGO Ideas Page
