For it's entire production run of fifteen million vehicles, made from 1908 to 1927, the Ford Model T came in any color you wanted... as long as it was black! These two Model T MOC's were inspired by a MOC by Calin over on Flickr. Each car seats one figure. Here we see two brand-new 1923 hardtop Tin Lizzies about to be loaded on a flatcar for delivery to a Ford dealership in Anytown, USA. Yes, I know this isn't how they did it back then, they actually loaded them in boxcars. But then, if I did that, then you couldn't see the cars! Thoughts?

1920s farm house and vintage car MOC v2 - real world models - finished 7/17/23

It's early afternoon, and the sun is playing hide and seek with the clouds on a hot Sunday in June, 1928. On the rail line near the house, the tail end of a freight train slowly trundles past as the distant sound of the chuffing steam loco recedes into the background noise made by crickets. The telephone rings, but you ignore it for a minute, as nobody is going to disturb your day off nap. It continues ringing and you go to answer it, thinking it might be your boss calling you into work on your lone day off. Nope - it's a guy trying to sell you some life insurance instead. You hang up the phone and return to your comfy chair and quickly retreat back into the land of dreams... This version of 'UP house' (set 43217 along with a back half addition I found on Rebrickable) features changed around furniture, and a more neutral color scheme. This version of the house folds open and locks shut on a Technic pin. My other white 43217-inspired model (it didn't turn out like I wanted) donated the majority of it's parts to this project. The rear half of the house. I built it from some very movie-accurate instructions on Rebrickable, as seen here by user rykfield. I did remove the rear dormer window, just for some variety. The lower floor features a living room, foyer, and dining room while the upper floor features a bedroom and music room. This is the inside of the front half of the building. The rear half of the house's interior. Most of the furniture seen in these two pictures is recolored from the Friends 'Downtown Flower shop and Furniture Store' (set 41732) along with a few pieces from the 'Moving Truck GWP' ( set 40586) and the original UP house itself. This vintage car was heavily modified from a model by BricksAA and these free MOC instructions over on Rebrickable. It reminds me quite a bit of a Ford Model A, thus placing the timeline for the first picture in this thread sometime between 1928 - 1931. The car features a spare tire hanging at the back of the vehicle. The roof is removable to seat the three figures on the inside - two up front and one in the back. Any and all thoughts on these two models would be appreciated! UPDATE 7/17/23: New finished pictures and revised text added as of now! -
1920s farm house and car - real world 43217 ('Up' house) heavy MOD - finished 3/11/23

Well, it certainly wasn't easy but I managed to reverse engineer most of set 43217 - 'Up' house (seen above in spoiler) and add a back to it using just two box pictures. I added a back half and raised the build by a brick and a plate. Unfortunately, I just couldn't figure out the roof from the set or the original bay window. The former just got swapped for a brick-built roof, while the latter was removed and replaced with something simpler after much stress. The new rear half. It had it's issues trying to get everything to work. But it's good enough for me. The house folds open and even wraps around the chimney as much as possible. (The odd-size flue sticks out into the back half's space a bit) The lower floor features a living room, foyer, kitchen, and dining room while the upper floor features a bedroom. The first floor worked out well design-wise, but the second floor is an absolute mess due to all the supports / arches / beams needed to hold the roof together. Speaking of the roof, both sections aren't very pretty, but it works... at the cost of taking a whole bunch of upstairs space on the inside, as you can see. This vintage car was heavily modified from a model by BricksAA and these free MOC instructions over on Rebrickable. The car features a spare tire hanging at the back of the vehicle. The roof is removable to seat the three figures on the inside. EDIT 3/11/23: Car photos added! Thoughts? -
Cruella De Vil 1930s red roadster from original 101 Dalmatians film - 70911 MOD

This menacing car was inspired by this build which in turn was a modified version of set 70911 - Arctic Roller from the LEGO Batman Movie. This model is owned by Cruella De Vil of "101 Dalmatians" fame in the classic red and black paint-scheme and revised headlights / trunk / taillights. The car can fit one figure in the driver's seat and has space in the opening trunk for a single suitcase. I'm not sure the rumored Cruella CMF fig will fit inside, but even if she doesn't, I'm still gonna build this if / when it's confirmed she's coming. The build is missing four of these spoked wheel covers in flat silver. Yes, I know the wheels are to big: I'm making the best out of a bad situation and this was the only good looking option. The model is about 6 studs wide (with a tiny 1 and a 1/2 stud bit of overhang on each side due to the front fenders) and 28 studs long in total. @RichardGoring This is model I was talking about over in the Disney Properties 2023 thread. Thoughts everyone? -
The Muppet Movie - Fozzie Bear's rusty Studebaker - real world MOC (updated 6/15/22)

"Ah, it feels good to be in a bear's natural habitat... a Studebaker" - Fozzie Bear Here is Fozzie's 1951 Studebaker Commander from the original Muppet movie in its original rusty condition. It should fit Fozzie Bear and Kermit the Frog, but I make no promises on the banjo fitting for the “Movin' Right Along” musical sequence. Sadly, the roof is very hard to remove (and this being reddish brown of unknown vintage) that I fear removing the roof to place the two figures inside will shatter parts. The Muppet CMF's my dad bought will thus just have to stand next to the car. (Its not like you can see inside the car to see them driving anyway!) Even if I could get the roof off, Kermit has to sit in the backseat as there isn't enough room up front for both side-by-side. In fact, they have to be centered in each row of seats to fit at all, due to arm constraints. In a show I saw about this film they mentioned the following factoid: The car seen in long-distance tracking shots was an identical second car, while the one with the closeups / scenes of Fozzie visibly driving had the steering re-connected to a wheel in the trunk, along with the relocated pedals and shifter. They also mounted a TV camera in the nose of the car, and a monitor in the trunk, so the driver could see where he was going. ...and that's all I've got. Emmet and Lucy's dream home (slightly based on TLM 2 set - finished 9/14/22)

Following the events of The LEGO Movie 2, and using the proceeds of his and Lucy's film careers, Emmet got to work on building Lucy and himself their dreamhouse again. They made it a little bigger, a little better, and a lot stronger... just in case of any future Duplo attacks. It also features an attic for extra storage space. Unikitty lives in the house too, and has made the unused attic space her personal play-place. The MOC's color scheme was heavily inspired by set 70831 - Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket. The building itself (not the furniture) was originally inspired by this Rebrickable MOC by user MIJbricks. The rear of the house features a chimney flue. The model also opens up like a dollhouse up to 90 degrees, and locks shut on a technic pin. On the front half's lower level is the living room, with record player, writing desk and couch. Upstairs is the bed, lamp, and a huge cabinet. The attic is Unikitty's play-place. (She seems really happy to see you!) In the rear half (lower level) is the kitchen table and fireplace. Upstairs is a vanity and Planty. Pictures of Emmet and Lucy are on the wall as well. Alas, it seems the house already has a Duplo infestation... In addition to the manor house, I'm also got a black version of set 40448 - Vintage Car (from Ideas) for Emmet and Lucy to drive around in. I absolutely HATED those loose-fitting surfboards on the sides, so I've created a easy workaround. Some other things have been changed in certain places, such as those eight 1x1 double curved slopes have been replaced with the new 1x4 version for added strength. I originally wanted to do the car in red, but the wheel arches are sadly stupid expensive in regular red. Blue was also an option, until I learned one of the 1x1 brackets needed are not available in that color yet. Thus, black was my only remaining choice. Thoughts? This model was heavily inspired by the 2014 original eight-studs wide Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (set 21108) and a MOD of that set I found on Rebrickable. Instead of a late-50's Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance, it's now based on the (very similar) '59 Cadillac Eldorado. In the changeover, I added a hardtop (removable) roof, different mirrors, 1/2-stud offset side-by-side seating for two, and opening doors. I also changed around the wheels to be less stressful to assemble compared to the original 2014 set. Rear view, with driver's side door opened up. The opening doors were taken from the Ecto-1 and 2 (set 75828) from 2016. The roof is only connected by two studs, making it easily removable. The car seats two figures easily. I plan on getting one of these in real life in a different color sometime in the near future, probably soon after Emmet's house parts arrive from Bricklink. Got any thoughts comments, or questions? 1950's Astro Bot 33 and retro style Classic Space car - real world (revised) MOC builds

This Classic Space version of Build Better Bricks' Iron Giant with the head of the previous @hachiroku version of the Giant's head added on. (consider it a mashup of the two Iron Giant models!) The car was also inspired by this Hachiroku build here, and was originally made by me in September 2020. I have just now revised this early 1950's car for Benny with new mudguards that cover the (enlarged) two rear wheels. I made both MOC models into CS colors (black, both "new" grays, and blue, with white for the car roof) with red and green indicator light parts (on the robot only), and two yellow / black bumblebee stripe tiles with a printed 4 x 2 slopes on the arms / car trunk lid. (They aren't shown, but have this print) The gray jumpers near the robot's waist are for power conduits, so he can be recharged without consuming (costly!) metal products via his opening mouth. Speaking of which, the mouth now can open to allow for posing... but unfortunately, it doesn't play nice with the shoulders, so the mouth must remain closed until I can figure out a better solution. Another thing that didn't work well was the rotating waist: it operated too jerkily and was hard to operate, so I removed that feature. The rear of the robot. Not sure if it's a feature, but the arms won't go down any further to the sides... I tried everything I could think of, but no dice. This is because the arms can't be removed without destroying the awesome-looking - and very intricate - torso. Looks pretty classy, right? The two doors open, but the obligatory black space seat is missing, because any more height and Benny would not fit inside. The rear has a license plate, the classic space logo, and two coverings mostly obscuring the rear wheels. As a courtesy to the driver instead of the space seat, I have included a light bluish gray upholstery for the back of the seat. As usual, Thoughts, Suggestions, Comments, & Questions of any kind are always welcome! So, what do you think? -
Adventurers - Sam Sinister's train of evil with 4-6-2 steam loco (finished MOC)

This train was originally supposed to go with the new Crocodile electric locomotive (set 10277) that was revealed a couple months ago. But it doesn't fit my UK "theme" very well, so I bought this train instead. This engine is numbered 514 (as a tribute to the HC514 part seen in the Adventurers sets), and the the tender should say LNER, (London North-Eastern Railway) as that's who originally designed and built the Z1 class locomotive. This 4-6-2 type engine is named Hazel Crusader, and is not actually owned by the railroad company, but it is maintained and crewed by the railroad's employees when called upon by Lord Sinister to be moved from his private siding. (That's why it has the non-LNER-standard gold, black, and brown paint scheme that matches his coaches: it's Sam's personal color scheme for his railway stock - it's owned by Lord Sam Sinister himself. He even had this locomotive designed just for him.) In reality, this Z1 type never existed on the LNER, as it is a creation of my own imagination. My fictional Z1 take on the wheel 4-6-2 arrangement is inspired by the 2-10-0 Austerity class of WWII (boiler wise) with a tender donated by the A3 which originally pulled Sam Sinister's train. This is Sam Sinister's automobile, situated quite precariously on a two-wheel flat car that is much too small. Being that Sam is cheap, he bought the one that would cover his needs... sight unseen. The railway yard master's eyes nearly fell out of his head when he finally saw what Sam was going to load onto this flat car! The flat car is easily detachable from the load, as you can see here. (NOTE: This car was inspired by the 2015 SDCC exclusive Action Comics number 1 Superman, recolored and heavily modified.) The car seats two figures side-by-side, and even comes with a spare tire in the back. This Gatling gun car protects the train from any goody-goody interlopers trying to make off with Sam Sinister's ill-gotten goods... namely Johnny Thunder and his friends. NOTE: The Gatling gun on this car was taken wholesale from set 79111. (Constitution Train Chase) These looted ancient Egyptian items include: a temple guardian from the Well of Souls (taken from set 7621, Secret of the Lost Tomb), a obelisk warning others to not defile it's owner's tomb, and the Queen's sarcophagus itself, with a very angry mummy inside. (Guess Sam doesn't listen very well, huh?) I wasn't kidding about that curse you know! Look's like Sam's somehow stolen a Sphinx as well! (not THE Sphinx, of course, that would never fit on his train car and would be a bit missed by the locals... not to mention any snooping Archaeologists!) Thankfully, however, Sphinx were not inscribed with any magic hieroglyphics, so they are safe to observe.... or in Sam Sinister's case, "borrow without permission". Unlike the Re-Gou Ruby's twin (yet not worth anything) gem which can curse you to an eternity of bad puns, as the now-mad Baron Von Barron found out. In reality, the statue's head was inspired the one in set 5978. (Sphinx secret surprise) In this train car we find all the weapons one could dream of in the 1920's, as it is called the armory car after all. (Thanks again to @Pdaitabird for making these cars in his awesome instructions, which you can find on Flickr here.) This is Sinister's war wagon. Why is it called that? It has old charts, brand-new maps, magazines and trade journals, plus all kinds of notes with clues to hidden locations with items of vast power or great fortune just waiting to be grabbed. If Johnny Thunder or Sam Sinister hasn't seen it or at least heard of it, the item probably doesn't exist. This car also houses Lord Sinister's bedroom for overnight journeys. Here we see the whole train at an "on-it's-side" view for maximum viewing. Thoughts, compliments, complaints, and suggestions are all welcome! NOTE9/22/2020: Added updated real world pictures of everything, including the Sphinx car and updated steam loco, now called Hazel Crusader 514. (as in HC-514, the print on the tile on the side of the cab. Took me quite a while to figure out a good name for the engine!) -

Hello, let's start the race! It is my own hypercar concept with a minifigure. I reused some details of my earlier idea called "Hypercar concept 1", but I wanted to build this car even more dynamic. It is a studless model built from standard LEGO elements. The overall size is similar to the Speed Champions sets, but the wheels are from City sets as I wanted to keep the height to length ratio closer to the real sports cars. Hello Speed Champions fans, Trabant 601 is a legendary car of Eastern and Central Europe. This is its studless model in Speed Champions scale. If you like it, please keep alive this project and support on Lego Ideas to become a real set (only 3 supporters are missing in the next hours to reach the first milestone): https://ideas.lego.com/projects/77b0428c-c46c-47b0-984c-1fd7c97a2948 I wanted to create a relatively accurate model, and some details were challenging in this small size. Firstly I needed smaller wheels than my other builds in this scale, the size of the actual ones are equal to the Mini Cooper (Lego 75894) ones. It was clear too that the City mudgards will not fit to this size, therefore I created a brickbuilt one. The connection of the wheels are tricky a bit which helps to keep the room between the wheels and the mudguard proportional. I wanted to create an accurate front, and I added simple white stickers to the direction indicator lamps to keep the orange parts visible on the front only. The most common colors of this car are the light blue and white (broken white). I decided to use white pieces as the roof element of Mini Cooper (part 6018101) is ideal as hood and roof, and I have this item only in this color. The rear of the car is a bit tricky too as I wanted tilted lights similarly to the real ones. The back lights could be red transparent elements, but I was not able to buy them in that color. I had to buy some elements of "brick, modified, 6191" to the sides too, and it was available only with "Nitro" stickers, but my son said that these stickers are cool, so I kept them. I wanted to use as less stickers as possible as I don't really like them, because they restrain the applicability the stickered elements in different builds. There is picture without the "Nitro" sticker and an other one without any stickers. The set includes a minifigure with a baseball hat and with an additinal red helmet. Hello Speed Champions fans, my son asked me to build a white Audi R8. Both of us like the Speed Champions sets, therefore I choosen this scale. If you like it, you can support it on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ead4242e-8bae-440d-930d-0c840d86ce5f It is a studless build from standard lego elements and modified City wheels are used instead of Speed Champions ones to keep the height to length ratio more realistic similarly to my earlier ideas. The front of this car is iconic and it was a real challenge to recreate it in this small size. I made lots of versions and I think the actual one with a tricky solution is the best. I tried more solutions to the black side blades too, the actual one was inspired by "LEGO Audi R8 instructions (MOC #96)" by "Jerry Builds Bricks" on Youtube, however I modifed it a bit as I wanted tilted blades similarly to the real ones. Only one sticker is used which is the Audi logo on the front as I'm generally not a fan of the parts with stickers, because of the lack of flexibility in using them with other builds. The set includes the minifigure shown on the main picture on the Lego Ideas. It comes form the set 75873 but with red helmet. I have added a rear wing to make the car more dynamic. It differs from the custom Audi wings, but I think it fits to the style of the car and to the side mirrors. 1950's automobile repair shop with flat-bed tow truck - 75972 / 75953 MODs

I was inspired by set's 75972 (Dorado Showdown) and 75953 (Hogwarts Whomping Willow) to create this small town auto repair shop with flat-bed tow truck called Smokey's Garage. The building features a raised platform for cars (such as the Anglia) to roll onto and be worked on, with folding ramps to keep the broken-down vehicle in place. NOTE: The front of the building is missing sixteen of this part in dark bluish gray above the second floor windows and the side door on the first floor. Also, two of these printed 2 x 4 tiles go on the hanging sign out front of the garage. The front of the building, with the ramps lowered for receiving a broken-down car. The rear of the building folds open to allow access to the inside. The upper floor is the break room, with a rock-n-roll album on the table, and hi-fi stereo system in place to rock around the clock..... at least during business hours! Here is the album piece. The rear of the building. This truck is basically a stretched version of the hover-vehicle in the Dorado Showdown set. It is missing two light-bluish gray ones of these (used as the back of the headlights in the set) as they don't fit where they are supposed to go in the model due to a LDD glitch. I added regular-size wheels, and safety stripes to the deck, which sadly does not lower into a ramp like a real truck would... but it does just barely fit the Anglia IRL! Here is the flatbed tow truck and the '67 Anglia in real bricks, plus the two workers Charlie "Smokey" Jones (on left) and Caroline "Carol" Jones (on right). Smokey owns the garage when this picture is taken (It's 1969 in-universe) and does the heavy diesel work and home cooking, while his wife Caroline does the gasoline engines and book keeping. They have a daughter, named Josephine Jones (nicknamed "Jo" and isn't present here) who is in training at trade-school to become a mechanic. She will shortly join the family business in 1970, and takeover from diesels when Smokey dies in 1976. Carol stays on until 1983, when she retires to work on restoring a Ford Model A as a pet project. Jo renames the business "Jo's Garage" in 1985 after moving to a new location (seen in set 10264, Corner Garage) in the downtown area when the older building became too outdated and small. She continues to run the garage today, even bringing her son Franklin into the family trade as of 1997.. NOTES: I just bought the Dorado Showdown when it was $18 (US) from Amazon and then I went and subtracted all the parts I could find for this project in my own parts bins from the BrickLink file. The truck and Anglia themselves are finished already without ordering anything, and the building is down 200+ bricks from when I started looking for parts... still need to order around 520 more. Keep your eyes peeled for real-world pictures of the vehicles, coming soon! -
Hello, feel the speed! It is my own hypercar concept inspired by real hyper and supercars. It is a 6 studs wide, studless model built from standard LEGO elements. The overall size is similar to the Speed Champions sets, but the wheels are from City sets as I wanted to keep the height to length ratio closer to the real sports cars. Benny's Classic Space mansion and town car - 75930 / 70906 MODs

I was inspired to create this model from the 2018 Jurassic World set 75930, Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate, with some design cues from set 10228, Haunted House, although in blue and white with trans yellow glass. The dollhouse-style model was built from the set pictures and from features from the movie itself, with the fall-apart play features removed and opening rear sections added to match the front half. The model also features a round "time window" for Benny to experiment with in his spare time. As usual, this classic space logo printed piece goes where this 4 x 2 slope is, just below the front balcony and right above the front door. The house without any figures, cars, or giant robots. The very large satellite dish on the roof is so Benny can communicate with the Classic Space fleet in any weather: rain, sunshine, snow, solar wind-storm, or nuclear fallout. Whatever the weather, Benny gets through! The rear of the mansion features a conservatory and the chimney flue, along with a back door and rear porch light. The house folds apart, with the two rear sections opening in quarters up to 90 degrees, while the conservatory opens up to 180 to allow for figure placement. (Up to five Technic pins can hold the model shut at key points for transportation with ease and handling with little fragility.) The front half on the found floor features the entry hall, TV room with couch and dining room. The second floor features the custom-printed super computer (un-printed here in LDD) and Benny's bedroom. The uppermost two floors features the science lab, with the time window and several other science experiments. Here is the huge 1970's super computer LL9000 (custom printed part) which takes up a sizable amount of space on the second level wall just above the entry hall. The right rear quarter features the conservatory and some furniture on the second and third floors, plus the dining room on the first floor. This section also has stairs from first to second floors, plus a '80's video game cabinet (Astro Nut, of course!) on the second floor. The left rear quarter features the fireplace and the stairs to the third floor, plus a miniature space monorail layout and a TV with VCR. This is Benny the 1980-something space guy's 1979 Moonraker made by Neptune Auto Group. The engine has been upgraded from a gasoline chugging-monster into a more environmentally-friendly Hydrogen-3 Fusion engine to turn it into a modern mechanical beast with a retro exterior. Benny added bigger tires to the car to get it over the craters of the small moon where Benny was stationed. The car also has a spare tire located on the opening trunk. The roof is removable, and the three seats can fit figures with air-tanks and helmets. The doors open in the front normally, but in the rear they open in a reversed pattern to create a wider opening. Real life version The building as it sits right now, before it gets torn apart to create the version seen in the first part above. Most of it's parts will be donated to create the mansion. (NOTE: Since this is a Adventurers building for my town and not situated in a jungle, desert or something like that, I thought it would be okay to post it in the town forum. If the mods don't like it here, feel free to move it to the Action and Adventure forum.) This model was inspired by set 70912, (Arkham Asylum) from the LEGO Batman Movie theme and was built for Lord Sam Sinister, the main bad guy from the Adventurers theme. Whereas that set is only the front facade of the building, this model features two opening rear quarter sections to reveal the interior details plus a tower in the front above the front door. The model consists of three sections: the front half, the left quarter and the right quarter. The stylish car is modified version of set 70911, (Arctic Roller). The car model is about 8 studs wide (with a tiny 1/2 stud bit of overhang on each side due to the front rims) and 28 studs long in total. This model can fit one figure sans top-hat in the driver's seat and has space for a briefcase or top hat in the trunk. The rear of the mansion features rows of windows and a stone fireplace flue on the left side, plus a window on the lower left for the small dungeon. The model consists of three sections: the front half, the left quarter and the right quarter. Each section is connected to the next with two hinges and a small set of two Technic pins (one per side) to lock it shut. The front half of the building features a drawing room on the left side of the picture, a living room on the opposite side, and the bedroom on the upper floor, which also has access to the tower above the main entrance. The spaces below the stairs are a wine cellar / kitchen on the right with the large casks, and on the left is the dungeon for any do-gooder spying on Sam Sinister. The right quarter has the other half of the ground floor dining room and part of the kitchen / wine cellar, a couch in the living room and a phonograph in the bedroom. The left quarter features the fireplace mantle and flue (the year 1892 as stated above the fireplace mantle reflects the year of the house's construction) , plus one half of the dining room on the ground floor. The room with the bars on the windows is the dungeon for unwelcome "guests" of Sam Sinister. The car by itself is about 8 studs wide (with a tiny 1/2 stud bit of overhang on each side due to the front wheel wells) and 28 studs long in total. As a side note, the headlights are not clipped in the same way as the original set had, and are instead sandwiched in place with 1 x 6 plates and headlight bricks. The rear of the car features a license plate for Lord Sam Sinister and dual exhaust. The car can fit two figures sans top-hat in the driver's seat and has space for a briefcase or top hat in the trunk. EDITED 1/3/18: Added real life pictures and newly updated text. 1950's Town Hall with Mayor's car (10184 - 10232 - 70906 - 79011 MOD)

This building was inspired by 2008 set 10184, Town Plan. I added a rear to the building in a style like set 31026, Bike Shop & Cafe. The building also takes cues from ScotNick and his modular take on the Town plan set. (see it here) I personally think this building looks very Back To The Future-like. Please note, my version of the building is not modular, and swings open to reveal the inside, such as in set 31026. It even locks shut on a Technic pin to keep the building closed. The upper floor features the mayors office with filing cabinets while the lower floor features the secretary’s desk. I know their isn't much in here, but I didn't know what to put inside. The back of the building. The middle rear window was very frustrating: it doesn't look like I imagined it but does manage to give off a clean appearance. The car was originally based on the car from set 10232, (Palace Cinema) along with a front end inspired by set 70906 (The Joker Notorious Low-rider) and a rear partially taken from set 79011. (The Penguin - Arctic Roller) The car features seating for two mini figures, but the figures can not see out the front windshield. The trunk at the back of the car can fit a suitcase inside and the side doors can open wide. The LDD file for both car and building as seen above is ready for download here. The model can now open only up to 90 degrees and the year 1922 goes on the top of the building where the exposed studs are in printed 1 x 1 tiles. You can compare the new model to the old one above. (the old building model is NOT included in the updated LDD file seen earlier in this post!) -
This car MOD was inspired by the flying car named Lola from the Marvel set number 76077. (Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes) The color has been changed from red to yellow, though blue, red, and black are possible colors that can be built instead of yellow. I removed the flying car convertible wheels and replaced the printed front grille with actual grille tiles. I also added a licence plate, rear bumper, and side mirrors. The car can seat one mini-figure, and the cabin features opening side doors. LDD file coming for this model as soon as MOCpages is back online. Comments, Question, and Complaints are always welcome!

(Note to the MODs: This is in the town forum because it's a car. It could have gone in either the Adventurer forum, the Licensed forum, or here in the Town section. I chose Town because it could be easily modified by taking the figure out and making it into a regular 1920's car again.) The car on the other hand was inspired by this build which was in turn a modified version of set 70911, (Arctic Roller) This model is Sam Sinister's largest ride to date and lacks the spring loaded shooters of the original set. I replaced them with a proper car grille. The car by itself is about 8 studs wide (with a tiny 1/2 stud bit of overhang on each side due to the front wheel wells) and 28 studs long in total. As a side note, the headlights are not clipped in the same way as the original set had, and are instead sandwiched in place with 1 x 6 plates sand headlight bricks. The rear of the car features a license plate for Lord Sam Sinister and dual exhaust. The gray round thing on the trunk is supposed to house a spare tire, but it doesn't.... it's really just for looks. Two figures (sans tall hats) can fit side-by-side in the car, and their is space in the opening trunk for a briefcase. The teeny tiny mini-figure out by the front door of the house is Lord Sam Sinister... it just gives you an idea how massive the house and car really are! 1950's three level open side railroad auto rack car with load

This three level autorack was originally found on LGauge .com as seen here. I redesigned that model and added tiny automobiles to fit into the racks. I also recolored the yellow parts to dark gray to fit better with my other freight cars. There is a single plate worth of clearance between the automobiles and the rack above. The automobiles are attached using 2 x 3 plates, put they are removable... if you take the roof of the freight car off first! In different ways, my production skills have improved, and in other ways, not as much. I think I still have a lot to work on... do you guys have any suggestions? This first model is a mash-up of the 2013 Palace Cinema (set number 10232) car and the car from 2002 Escape from Privet Drive. (set number 4728) I added a new cabin roof with bigger windows and made the car in more colors. These variations include: Tan, Red, White, Black, Dark Bluish Gray. Each car has 4 seats and a steering wheel now too, but it still can't seat figures. Here we see the tan version. Rear view. I made the red convertible into a brown coupe. I have updated the model and LDD file because some parts of the old MOC were did not exist in the right colors, so I fixed them. The rear features the tail lights and license plate. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1428415439m.lxf This car is based off the CARS 2 character "Acer" from set 9484, Red's Water Rescue, a 2012 set. It uses a mix of dark bluish gray and lime to give it the peeling paint look. the car is EXTREMELY tiny, being about the same size as the LEGO cars from the 1990's, except this model seats no mini-figures. This car was built in real life first, then recreated in LDD, which is a fairly rare occurrence for me. it is also build able without the dark bluish gray bricks for an all lime green color scheme fresh from the Factory floor. The car is build-able in five colors: Red, White Yellow, Black, and Medium Blue. Shown here is the medium blue version. (Spider Man: Spider Cycle Chase) I took out the hover wheels and removed the flick-fire launcher mechanism. I then grouped the parts I added to the model to make it easier to build. Personally, this car makes me think of a 1980's sports car. The rear of the car features some neat partially covered wheels. It was inspired by eurotrash48903 and his own MOD of the set to be 7 wide. I didn't change it quite as much as him, but I did follow his lead in several spot, such as shortening the frame by 2 studs and getting rid of the ridiculously oversized original wheels. The roof and front have been strengthened and a door added to the rear, as their was none before. rear view showcasing the door and rear fender. It's cab features two seats instead of one, and the paint scheme has been changed to plain black. You can also see the brake lights are located just under the tailgate. Built and modified from a PDF of the LEGO Rock Band bus, but in red instead of orange. Dual exhaust and fancy tail-lights feature on this model. I replaced the eyes with trans-black tiles and cheese slopes, while adding a grille where the mouth was. I also beefed up the rear, and removed the flick-fire missiles. The side of the truck features two hoses (one for each side) and the roof has a ladder. The sides also feature 4 hose hookups (that's the pearl gold 1x1 round studs) and two identical pump controls. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1416965118m.lxf Modern Double deck bus (yellow) Inspired by the design of the red bus in set 60026 (Town Square) and the yellow bus in set 7641 (City Corner), this double deck bus can seat 14 mini-figures, including the driver. It features a modular design, and has two doors: one at the front for entering, and one at the rear for exiting. (My brother Austin inspired this mod by giving me the idea for the double deck bus in yellow. He made one in red which he has not uploaded yet. (link: http://www.bricklink...asp?S=4000008-1 ) I repainted it a more common-place black & gray instead of red, yellow, blue & light gray. It now features a enclosed cab, and better-looking side mirrors. The top of the cargo compartment comes off allowing for access to the interior. The rear features a trailer hookup although no trailer is included in the LDD file. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1418836166m.lxf 1950's left-hand drive Double Deck bus (black & red) This was originally Scotnick's 7-studs-wide Bridgemaster Bus. I painted it in black and red for Brick Railway Systems and made into left hand drive for use in America. The bus also sports an enlarged upper deck, and a revised front windscreen. The red stripes on the upper deck are destination boards. This model is 100% build-able. I then decided to take it in a another direction and create a regular American 1950's car, complete with tail fins and two rows of seating. The model features two rows of seating and opening doors, (a rarity on my models!) tail fins, and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) The jumper plate on the rear bumper is supposed to represent a tailpipe and the white 1x2 tile is a license plate. (link: https://www.flickr.c...57624191463040/ ) I converted this 5 wide car to a hardtop and replaced the wide original wheels with a more Beetle-like solid disc. I also changed the color to yellow instead of green and added a license plate at the back. The car seats 1 mini figure. I modified the rear view mirrors, added a different style hook assembly, and removed the doors. The model is 7 wide, 24 studs long, and 12 2/3 bricks tall. It even features a handrail at the rear entrance. As an interesting side note, there are 27 1x2x2 trans-clear panels on the bus, along with two brick-built rear windows and the front windscreen. I built the LEGO version in LEGO Digital Designer and real life. The rear of the car features a non-opening trunk made to look like the original set 4728 model. The model looked easy to duplicate, but it proved difficult to create an exact copy. I then decided to take it in a another direction and create a generic American 1950's car, which eventually got turned into this version of Benny's Classic Space themed automobile. The model features a row of space-ship styled seats and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) the white tile above the rear bumper is supposed to be Benny's license plate. I eyeballed the model and faithfully recreated it, but it was severely lacking in several areas so I enhanced it by extending the frame about two studs, and added bigger wheels. I then redid the bumper and passenger cabin, which required a new 4 x 8 roof, which is longer than the original 4 x 6 piece. The rear features two tail-lights and a license plate. It can also seat one mini-figure in the drivers seat. NOTE: The rear of the model actually features a 2 x 2 trans clear slope instead of the two 1 x 2 slopes seen here.
