    [MOC] Motorcycle Mania

I've modified the motorcycle (part 52035), used since 2005, in three different ways - basic, long axle, and reverse trike. Expect an instruction video for the reverse trike to follow.
  2. [WIP] 40+ km/h lego car Since i like to see some ideas and open discussions, i decided to make this project public. So lets start with the current progress: A few pictures of the first tries, with the following specs: - 4 motors, gearing 24:8 from low-speed-otput - 1 PF-battery-box, attached to an old 9V switch, controlling 1 of the 4 buggy motors. Switch is controlled by a micromotor powered with the auxilary output of the rc unit. - 3 motors powered with the RC unit - total weight (without speed computer, to stay below the magic number :D) -> 991g (1012g with the computer) 4th motor is used as a booster, activated with the auxiliary padels, once the car reached like 15 km/h Fresh video, done 1 hour ago ;) (38,7 km/h) ->
  3. Finally i found some time to present you my latest MOC here. -> the 34,8 km/h black speed record racer It is the fastest 2-motor LEGO-rc-car until now (june 2017). While developing i was aiming for the highest speed you could reach with only 2 buggy-motors. To reach the goal, i had to: - reduce weight as much as anyhow possible - reduce the rolling resistance as much as possible (using only 3 as thin as possible wheels [only frontwheel could be better for indoor use: 2815 + 4185, but doesnt work outdoors]) - reduce axle-beam friction; just 3 studs in total (5 to protect the motor bearings) - find the best gearing - reduce air-resistance, and keep center of gravity as low as possible -> so here are the specs: Including panels in studs: length 55 , wide 21, height 12 (wheels) -> weigth: 650gChassis only (ready to race) : length 42 , wide 21, height 12 (wheels) -> weigth: ultralight 621g (without speed computer)Ground clearance: 0,5 studsGearing: 2:1 up at the fast output of the buggy-motorsTop speed: 34,8 km/h I know some of you dont trust the LEGO-speed-computer, so i also didnt at first. I startet measuring with gps with my heavy weighted mobile phone (more then 150g), but i didnt like the idea, to add 25% of weight to the model just for speed meassuring. Thats why i decided to buy a speed-computer (21g) [ could get one for 15€] just to try how accurate it is. And SURPRISE... it is really really accurate. I made a lot of comparing runs with GPS-phone (speedo app in 1 second mode) AND speed computer together attached to the car. The biggest difference i could ever meassure was 0,3km/h. You can see some pictures of this at the end of my video. (In my next video i will make some videos of this, not just pictures). Here are some pictures and the building instructions as Lego-digital-designer-file: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8658/Summse/348-kmh-black-speed-record-breaker-worlds-fastest-remote-controlled-2-motor-lego-car/#comments I hope you like it :) TechnicSummse And finally here is the video :) -> Its the first video i ever made
  4. Hello all! Kinda late but better later than never. I want to present you my entry for REBRICK contest :BUILD THE FUTURE . And I built a trike :) The main feature of this model is the trazition from drive mode to fly mode . Front wheels are lowered by 2 small LAs and the rear wheel raises (by 2 small LAs) . This is done by 1 M motor. Driving works at any time and it is powered by 1 M motor. About the steering , it is powered by 1 servo motor . The handlebar is conected to the steering. When wheels are lowered they can still be sterred [it looks so cool :) ] . The last freature is working front independent suspention (works in both modes) . It was a very interesting challenge and I hope you will like it as much as I do :) My favourite shot : Rear: Posted on Rebrick :https://www.lego.com/en-us/rebrick/view-entry?c_id={0C2B083F-BB14-47C0-84A8-775CB958273D}&a_id=bc094429-5297-4d4f-90dc-6bad2335db1a&sortEntry=false Youtube video : More pictures here: As always a comment is much apriciated :) Btw , whould you guys like tear down photoes ? And AHF stands for Always Have Fun ;)
  5. Hello, I haven't made anything new for quite a long time, so I've decided to skip some too ambitious project and make something smaller. Trikes are bit rare vehicals in the street, and they aren't too often in LEGO, too. So I've made one. It isn't based on something real, it's just real custom built. Functions are steering, suspension(rear live axle), V4 engine connected to rear wheels via differential.
  6. Lance's Plane & Trike My 3rd alternate model of Lance's Mecha Horse. The plane features a spinning propeller, working missiles, opening cockpit and detachable shield. The trike rolls on the ground and uses Flamethrower's mohawk for aiming the arrow gun. Both the models are surprisingly solid.
  7. Hello all, This MOC has been in the building works for quite a long time but I am pleased with the result. First things first, this model was inspired by vmln8r's The Carver, one of only three other Lego tilting trikes I could find on YouTube. However, my model is bigger than his and faster, it has a bigger wheel diameter but same motor and theoretical RPM. The model itself is propelled by a L motor geared 1:1 and tilting is done by one PF servo motor geared 11.669:1 turning a turntable connected to the rear axle. The steering is done with the same motor which pushes and pulls a set of rods which aren't quite as long as each other which means that the front wheel is straight even though the servo is slightly offset. Enough talking, here are some pictures taken on a Coolphix L18: The pictures taken on my GoPro Hero 1 And finally, the video: Thanks for reading and please leave any feedback in the comments below, Jim.

    Wasteland Raider-Trike

I just love post-apocalyptic themes, so I decided to build some sets for it a while ago. This was my first model: the "Raider-Trike". More pictures of my creations can be found in the LEGO folder of my homepage!
  11. Lego Tehnincs for me started with 42000 set. First step to own creations was small B-model modification Then I started to create my own creations. At that time I didn't even knew about other "sick" peaople and forums like this. So, as a first post, littlebit about what I have created until now. First creations was only from parts of 42000. First creation was some trike (or something like this) with font wheel drive Then there was (street)quad

    [MOC] Feuerstuhl (Trike)

“Feuerstuhl” is german slang and usually used as expression for a heavy motorcycle. The direct translation to the English language is “Chair of Fire”. But this translation does not reflects the meaning of the german term “Feuerstuhl” which implies power, speed and roaring sound. Feuerstuhl is highly inspired by the built sc-3w-06 designed by Vince_Toulouse (see here). Its virtually built by SR3D Builder and rendered by Povray. HiRes images here.
  13. Hello Eurobricks members! Today I would like to show you a trike or if you like a street chopper Specifications: Length: 31 cm Width: 19 cm Height without antennas: 13 cm Weight: 613 gr. Power Functions: 2 x PF M motor 1 x PF IR receiver 1 x PF IR remote control 1 x PF battery box BS gallery
  14. Hi everyone, today I am going to present to you my most recent MOC, it's an inverted trike with an old design, and motorized with RC and servo-motor. I built it to improve the way how a small RC takes curves at high speed and accelerates. So it has two wheels on the front, with drive and steering and a single wheel on the back. It also has full independant suspension. I'll make a video soon, just need to find the time :)
  15. With the release of the Spider-Trike vs. Electro, many fans have been overwhelmed to see a minifigure of Electro. However the main build in the set has garnered a substantial amount of negative publicity. So, for those of us who do not plan to build the set once we get it, what would you say would be a good alternate build for the set? You may use up to 2 copies of the set (the vehicle alone should not cost a lot) and perhaps use a couple of other parts (nothing too rare please) Hope to see some great builds! -Godtshep.
