  3. With Star wars The Bad Batch on the way certainly LEGO is going to make sets out of it. most likely the shuttle set will probly not have the Bad batch with their helmets and the reason why i think this is because in the sizzle reel and the trailer they where not wearing the helmets. In the sizzle reel they show a new type of clone trooper which looked like a death trooper version of a phase II clone. I think that that would be a really good battlepack thing like the 501st battle pack (thanks @MandRproductions). ether way LEGO has to put those death trooper clones in some how. do you think my guesses are good? leave you guessed down below! :D

    [P17-Trigalis-TT]

*Your entry has earned 7 XP* [P17-Trigalis-TT] After the disaster on the New Republic cruiser, I was called to high command to address what had happened. I told them almost everything, but was determined to address that we had still taken down an entire cruiser, along with two support vessels as well, but then I was told about Blade. After setting down the detonators, we had to result to using escape pods as the hangar was on complete lock down due to the trap that we unknowingly walked into. It seemed that Blade’s one had malfunctioned part way causing him to get partially caught in the explosion of the three ships. I was the told that he had been assigned to the Firestorms’ med bay, where he was currently recovering in a bacta tank. I was later dismissed, and went straight there. The external damage had been minimised, but the internal, i was told, may be life changing. I felt guilt, and guilt was a weakness, this is why I worked alone, so i would never have to run into complications like this, but still command insisted on me doing so, there were only one other, that i felt i could successfully work with, but i hadn’t seen him in six standard months. It was said he was to return soon, so then i would be reunited with Jinx.

  7. The Gladiator Class Star Destroyer isn’t a well known ship from Star Wars lore (unless you play Armada) but there are tales of it here and there on the web. Here’s the Wookiepedia page for the main reference I used for mine: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Gladiator-class_Star_Destroyer/Legends I started work on this on the 23rd February so it has taken me exactly one month of designing and building. I don’t use Stud.io or LDD so the whole thing was built practically. It has a full technic skeleton inside with several ‘ribs’ that meet in the middle so the chance of the wings sagging is pretty much non-existent. I really liked the subtle markings on the references I found so decided to pick them out in dbg. I think this sets it apart from many traditional star destroyer Lego designs which tend to favour lots of small raised areas dotted across the hull instead of any type of patterning. I didn’t intend it to have any sort of interior but as I built the mid section, which house the hangar at the front, it just seemed like a missed opportunity not to do something with it so I created 2 rooms, the Tie hangar bay itself and a generator room behind it. The whole thing weighs 7.5 kilos. Here is me for scale. The full album can be found on my Flickr page here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/164260086@N06/albums/72157718755411713 Thanks for looking.

  12. Hello fellow Lego enthusiasts! The time has come to drop my second project! The CR90 Tantive IV and Liberator! I really tried to go for an accurately proportionate model, which was a challenge at this scale. The scale of this model is exactly 1:250 scale, measuring at 75 studs or 60cm/23.62in. The Tantive and Liberator are 3,178 pieces and 3,195 pieces respectively. This model really started to come together when I came up with a cone design for the CR90. I ran across Inthert’s Jellyfish Shiptember MOC last year. I saw how he did his engine cone and wondered to myself if I could half the size and mirror it to make a unique front cockpit cone for the Tantive. I was able to capture a lot of detail with this design that I feel is very difficult to capture at this scale, especially since I refused to use the 8 or 6 stud wide cone halves. Overall I’m super pleased with how this turned out. As it is, in my opinion, one of the hardest things to nail in Lego. Another big challenge I set for myself was I did not want to see any studs or plate undersides. I really try to make this a focal point of all my designs. So going more for a brick build rather than plates in some areas was a hurdle to overcome, but I learned so much doing this and I think it really adds to this model at this scale. I used the silver hats in the engines as I’m always trying to go after that studio model look. I really liked how it added more detail to the engines. However, you can easily change them out for the transparent orange dishes, I know some people love seeing that engine glow! Just like my star destroyer, the model is supported all on one removable stand. It really makes more sense to have that feature with this model than the destroyer. Since the CR90 definitely has a “swoosh” factor. On top of it all, I also made the Liberator. I know so many people would want to see a Liberator variant of this model and I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to do it. Now I did not build the Liberator physically myself, but you can view both physical models over on BrickVault’s video. I just made a few renders of the model that way you can get the gist of the Liberator variant. I hope you all enjoy it! It was a challenge and one that I’m very pleased with the results. You can build either the Tantive, Liberator, or both by picking up the instructions over at BrickVault.

  15. Hello ! For my first topic here I would like to share with you a small thing I made that proved itself very useful ! I've had my 31039 sitting at the top of a 2 meters high shelf for a few month now and all I could see all day was the underneath of it. I was quite sad of this because I love this set and it's a very displayable model so I decided to work on a stand to display it. I wanted it to be : - As light as possible - Easy to use with any model - Made of common parts (actually the few parts I had left available) - And most important with ADJUSTABLE TILT ANGLE so I can modify the model position depending of how high the model is displayed. Here is the result : The stand is very sturdy and can handle a quite heavy model as long as it is well balanced on the stand. The model connects thanks to two 1x4 Technic bricks joined by a 2x4 plate : The parts are quite common and the rarest of them is the black 24T (I wanted the stand as black as possible ) Here are some pictures of the stand with the model on display : I also tested it with the 75102 and 75175 and both worked fine with the stand ! I think it can be easily modified to display technic models by replacing the technic bricks with Beams. I hope you will enjoy this stand, feel free to ask any question or suggest any improvement ! Oh and here is what it looks like on display at the top of the shelf :
  16. Hello there in 2021! :) It is finally a nice white winter outside and to kick-off the New Year, please let me share with you something from the "vaults" - a LEGO mini-scale MOC of Luke's snowspeeder that I made some time ago, but newer shared properly here. Snowspeeder is one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles of all time and I have a very fond memories of receiving the first snowspeeder LEGO set for my birthday back in I guess 1999... I have seen so many great MOCs of this ship in different scales, including the mini-scale, so I hope the form and shape of this mini-scale rendition that I have done will resonate with you! http://Snowspeeder_MOC_microscale by Kristaps Ročāns, on Flickr

Merchants hash out deals and create the flow of resources, Ambassadors battle in the courts of cruel regimes, and bodyguards keep them all free to do their jobs. With the intent of forming favorable connections, CFS-aligned diplomats are invited to the bustling world of Boranda for discussions with CorSec representatives. [MOC] Podracing on the Moon!

When the Neo Classic Space Federation puts out a galaxy-wide call to take part in a podrace on the Moon, the call is answered by the Blacktron Future Generation. Although Benny's racer, 'LL-UC45' uses cutting edge tech, the Future Generations 'WhiteGilled BlackFish' has never lost a race. The stage is set for a white-knuckle showdown as these old foes race each other across the dusty plains of the Lunar surface. A month to design and build. 3,000 pieces (ish, don't know wasn't keeping count) and a lot of left over discarded bricks, my Star Wars/Classic Space mashup moc is done. The full album is on my Flickr page here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/164260086@N06/albums/72157716664021747
  20. It's a time of upheaval in the galaxy. The New Republic has just defeated the Empire at the Battle of Jakku. Those who fought in the Rebellion now have to adjust to being a part of a legitimate government, or find other means of employment. Those who fought for the Empire no longer have an Emperor to follow and must decide whether to align themselves with one of the many Imperial Admirals staking a claim or forge their own path. Those caught in the middle must adjust to a newlife and pray they can make a living under a new regime. Add to this turmoil the news that Holocrons of the Jedi have been rumored to be surfacing in various places across the galaxy. It is rumored that only a Jedi or Sith can unlock the true potential of a Holocron, but there are those who have been able to manipulate them enough to get at least some data. The data they've recovered speaks of an earlier age, a forgotten time. Days when Jedi and Sith fought across the stars. Or an army of clones sought to preserve the order of the Republic. There are many who will pay a hefty amount of credits or even kill for this data. Now, the New Republic, the fragments of the Empire, smugglers, bounty hunters, and anyone else who has access to a starship are seeking them.

The colonists, farmers, laborers, and families that populate the planets of the galaxy, working hard to live in harmony with the land and one another. These are people of grit, wit, and drive.
