  2. Hi All, Time for the annual Thanksgiving/Christmas cleanout! I am located in the United States. Most items ship for free in the US (minifigures do, sets do not). I will ship WW for a small cost. If you want your item shipped in a box for maximum protection, then feel free to ask. Any item over $100 is automatically shipped in a box. Pictures can be sent upon request. Please give your e-mail in a PM. I have priced all my items due to persistent requests :o) Some prices match the lowest price on BL, however MOST BEAT the lowest price on BL and usually by a considerable margin. Anyone Else got this Problem?

Hey guys, I just got around to getting the 2013 Republic Gunship and has stuck Padme's head on sideways, assuming I could rotate it later. When I tried to move it, it wouldn't budge. I even asked several people in my house to try incase my hands were sticky, and used a rubber wine bottle opener, to no avail. I couldn't even pull it off. When my dad finally used plier and jammed it off, I noticed the black stripe on the neck attachment piece was printed sideways. I am not sure if this means anything. Also, most of it had rubbed off and stained the inside of the head black... I have never noticed this in LEGO minifigures before, but has anyone else encountered the same problem? Thanks, legozebra
  4. Sullust... I really hated the place. With thick, toxic air, and a strong stench of sulphur it didn't really have much going for it. Unfortunately that was where our mission was. We had crashed a decoy shuttle a short distance from the Imperial base, and they took the bait. Two Stormtrooper squadrons had been sent to investigate, making our job at the base easier. SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr Infiltration went surprisingly smooth, and once on the inside we split up into units to carry out our individual missions... SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr My objective was to take control of the main command post & the communication station. I had a couple of troopers with me, as well as an trusty old R2 unit that I was told could help access the computers and take the turrets offline for our evacuation. Hopefully Bob would arrive with his reinforcements and get us safely away once our mission was completed. SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr I had sent Donnie Bricko & Kaitan to the detention block together with Chewbacca. Disguised as Stormtroopers they would pull the old prisoner transfer routine to get inside the cell block and release the prisoners. SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr A small group of our troopers had helped themselves to a tri-pod laser cannon from weapons storage and taken up position in the main hallway. If the Stormtroopers we had lured away returned before we had escaped, they were in for a surprise... SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr SoNE Ep. IV by LegoFjotten, on Flickr To make sure our escape route was clear I stationed three of my commandos guarding the weapons storage and hallway outside the main command post. SoNE Ep. MOC: Imperial Troop Train

Greetings. Our LUG was invited to Star Wars Days at the local LEGO Discovery Center. I built a Star Wars Imperial Troop Train for the event. It was inspired by amoured trains of the previous century. My MOC is armed with turbolasers and missiles and blasters. Imperial Troop Train par dr_spock_888, sur Flickr Here is a video of the train running at the event. The place was very kid noisy. [MOC] Ei-wing bomber

To infinity and beyond! With her female crew and purple colours this Ei-wing may not look to intimidating but space cruisers beware! This is no ordinary bomber. She trows stinky bombs that smell like rotten eggs. Intoxicating her victims with a stench that can be smelled throughout the universe she is well known by her enemies and her allies! It is not uncommon that The Rogue Squadron asks for her help during a crisis. For those who didn’t figure it out already, This ship is based on the Y-wing from Star Wars. The name Ei-wing is pronounced the same way as Y-wing. The name is meant to be a little joke since in dutch the word ’Ei' means egg. This is my first spaceship since I was a kid (and that has been a while :P ) I’ve built it for a little Sci-fi contest organised by HJR Holland on Lowlug.nl. It’s my response to the Xyster from Ecclesiastes. I tried to build it as stud less as possible. The entire bottom has bricks on it’s side or upside-down (except for the holes for the stands). It is a bit hard to photograph. Any suggestions on how to photograph it better or how to improve my creation are welcome!

  13. In order to build new things, I have dismantled all my lego sets and rebuilt them in a less brick/space expensive way, most of them were inspired by official lego mini sets or someone else's creations, but I cant remember who were them, so if you recognize your work over here, lots of thanks for your inspiration, but some others are my own design. I just realized how terrible was the loss of the planet series and mini sets, they look a lot more cute in person and have a lot of potential. Comments and criticism are welcome. 14. Hi, Eurobricks! Yesterday, when i was preparing for my High School Proficiency Exam, I was very very bored. i don't want to do it, because i took it last year and that was a very bad memory! However, today essay writing was a blah! The topic was about wall display, but i was thinking about lego display. Also, under the pressure of parents and SAT, I really don't want to touch any book. I got my Mixels-Flain this weekend, my dad found it and didn't say anything... just sad... Back to topic, i was struggling to post this "thing". Don't ask me why, just keep reading it and don't go to previous website. Ok, maybe i was too lazy to post it... i tried my best to make it as a real set and no extra pieces (if you got these two sets and you want to make other model, you probably don't want extra piece). However, i failed. One extra piece!! And it is a big piece! Whatever~ Let me talk about these two sets 75000 and 75001. i don't like them as i mentioned in my old old old post. 75000 has lots of pieces, but most of them are on Droidikas... However, those transition pieces are awesome!! i used a lot in my design. 75001, oh! he is a bad bad boy. Cool mini-figures, but horrible vehicle, i say. There has 62 pieces (24 are on mini-figures and weapons, 34 are on vehicle and 4 on flick missiles!!) and only a few pieces are freaking good that i can never doubt! So let take a look at my Hammer Head-75751!!! Do you see that! That grey, giant, wicked 6X6 plate!! That is the extra piece!! with 2 clones, 2 old republic troopers, 2 Sith troopers, and 2 Droidikas 1 Evil Mech Dragon from Ninjago... Take a closer look at Hammer Head-75751 Side The only play feature is its radar and flick missiles Two missiles are placed on the side of speeder, and the other one is underneath the driver seat Ready to fire! Building Technique: Now, the Evil Mech Dragon Actually, i'm not that stream punk, but it really looks stream punk... And there is the last photo: Everyone (we) hate extra piece!!!!! Play ability: 8 (Fire flick missiles and turn the direction of the radar) Design: 9 (Flick missiles don't need to ready to fire. Driver's handle becomes back of the chair!) Price: 10 (Gifts from Aunt. Priceless creative from myself! XD) Mini-figure: 8 ( 6 mini-figures! Who am i to disagree?) Part: 8 (185 + 1 extra. 95188 is a really nice pieces and 11458 is a very interesting piece) Overall: 41/50 It is just a childish grading. (who grade their own model? That is probably me... because i am 17! XD) However, you don't really have to listen to me, but i hope you enjoy it! Thanks for your watching!
  15. So here is my entry for Episode 3. It took up all of my white plate bricks - anything from 6*12 to 1x1 :) I just got the wife the Winter village Cottage and Market sets, and those two are crawling with large white base plates, but couldn't use those - oh no, not during the holidays :) _______________________________________________ When the imperials attacked Echo base no one thought to check the princess's royal quarters. Every''one was too busy keeping the imperial scum at bay for long enough for everyone to escape safely. According to the orders we were given some very secret plans were stored inside the princess's wedding chest, and it was imperative that this was retrieved before the imperial troops would get to them and probably ransac the place. The royal chambers were placed somewhat away from the main part of the base, and it was suspected that the imperial forces wouldn't know of the whereabouts of the base before they hacked through most of the computers. When we got to the royal chambers, it was obvious that they had suffered in the snow, the corridors where blocked with snow and ice, and we would have to dig our way through to find the princess' wedding chest. Bringing a shovel to Hoth is like bringing a spoon to a blasterfight, we had to use pick axes and a snowdrill to get through to the chest. We had intercepted a message leaving Hoth base that the imperial troops had learned the location of the royal chambers and would look for it tomorrow. While the others where digging my job was to keeo a lookout for anything suspicious above ground. What I saw gave me a sudden chill and made me rush back to the others to cool it with the digging or we would be made for sure. Those AT-ATs are not to be messed with. Thank god it was a blizzard outside or they would have made out the backup generator for the royal chambers or the entrance hatch easily. Why were they out in such weather, and why were they carrying a chainsaw and an axe? Playing some sort of real life version of Doom versus Wampas? I know this place is like a wintery hell, but still that sounds to messed up for imperial storm troopers. ____________________ The AT-AT from the front. I was building this out of the remnants of my grey parts just when EP III, came out so I just had to use it. Rear Shot (seems obvious what those tools where for :) ) The Binocular shot without photoshop (Paint.Net) The backup generator seen through the legs of the AT-AT And by it self A shot down the corridor towards the ladder and the hatch (Feels like Vader is about to enter) A shot of the base without the AT-AT and minifigs. just for reference. Hope you enjoyed the show :)

  18. As I was inspired to build in microscale by toomuchcaffeine's (alas, now former ) Cuusoo project of micro Star Wars scenes (pictures here), it has always been my intention not to not just make vehicles. I wanted to give them a setting, to make a diorama with just a few pieces. Maybe there are more to come, but anyway I present here to you my first micro scene. [MOC] The Tiny Pit of Carkoon by Bert.VR, on Flickr Yes, I know. It's not a giant diorama that that epic scenes deserves (and has got), but still, I'm quite fond of it. The Sarlacc itself is the starting points. Add together 2 LEGO Friends hand mirrors/beac, 6 wild west horns/tentacles, 1 Technic turntable/teeth and some binoculars, clips and a dozen of SNOT bricks to make it bind, and voilà, there's your micro Sarlacc. Due to all the SNOT involved in this centerpiece, the build turned out quite complicated as a whole. Adding the curves to simulate dunes at an ofset didn't really help, but at least it gave a decent aesthetical effect. If you're more of an expert in the MOCcing cuisine, you can try to prepare the Sail Barge, as that's a quite complex recipe to follow. The distinct snout is hard to replicate in any scale of LEGO. You have to get the slope viewed from the side, and the curve viewed from the top. So you have to choose your ingredients - err... parts - very well. After using all kinds of pieces I had never heard of before (like Indian wigs, bizarre Hero Factory pieces, trays and bowls...) two rather ordinary (no offence) bow pieces (part 64225) seemed to deliver the right taste. Combining these with straight slopes and shields (O, I do love those!) gave what I was aiming for. The problem was keeping it together, and fitting it in with the rest of the dish - err... model. Some dirty tricks (no bricks were harmed, during the making of this model) gave a satisfactory result, though some gaps were left, I admit. [MOC] The Tiny Pit of Carkoon by Bert.VR, on Flickr To garnish your creation, you can't go without some Desert Skiffs. To be in scale, they had to be really tiny, even for my standards . It was hard to come up with an accurate and - even more important - pretty solution. In the end, I took the advise of "less is more" seriously for once and stayed with one piece, and one piece only. The Rescue can (part 90395) that had proven to be unsuitable for the main course (the Sail Barge) turned out to be just the right part for the job. All you have to do then, is to tell everybody not to notice the gaps, and to present your creation nicely. To evoke the dessert of Tatooine (pun intended), a chaotic and rough edge seems appropriate, especially since you don't want to cover up all those offsets you introduced earlier on... [MOC] The Tiny Pit of Carkoon by Bert.VR, on Flickr This model is best served rendered with LDD2POV-Ray, and with a long text alongside it. I wish you all a humble bon appetit. Please let me know how it tastes. If you have remarks about the spicing, please do tell me. Then I will fetch you some salt and pepper. (in other words: C&C welcome and appreciated)
  19. Similar to the RZ-1 Interceptor (or "A-Wing" as it was commonly called) the RZ-2x is a small but highly capable interceptor. The RZ-2x is equipped with three modified J-77 Event Horizon engines, making it (at this time) the fastest interceptor in the known galaxy. Unlike the RZ-1, it is Astromech compatible, with the Astromech handling weapon systems, shields, sensors and flight assist. With flight assist activated the Astromech will smooth out the pilot's movement making it easier to maintain control of the craft. This has proven to be a double edged sword though, if the Astromech is lost, the way the ship handles will change drastically for the worse. Like the RZ-1, armament consists of a set of Borstel RG-9 laser cannons, and 2 Dymek HM-6 Concussion Missile Launchers. It is also equipped with the same senors and countermeasures as the RZ-1. A very small number of prototype units have been produced so far, and there is a high chance it will never make it into full production due to the high costs of production and maintenance (production costs are twice as high as the RZ-1). C&C welcome! I want this to be judged.
  20. We meet again, EB! I present to you today my first (true) MOC i've built, a High Altitude Airspeeder or HAAS. It was a fun build, but i cheated a bit as i used the cockpit of the Geonosian starfighter, so you might call it a MOD instead. But as obvious as it is, most of the parts are taken and made from the same set. Without further ado, the pictures: Here you can see my friend John, modeling as a pilot or driver for the airspeeder. Front-top view (i have no idea how to explain this angle) Front view. Kinda menacing, isn't it? Side view. A view of its behind. A view of the 'engines'. Side view of the 'engines' And a view of the cockpit. That's all folks! and thanks for viewing. comments and criticism are definitely welcome! oh and John bids goodbye as well
  21. I was really looking forward these new Star Wars Microfighters Set. They look so cute. Unlike the Planet Series that were, imho, more for display, these Microfighters are totally for playing round with them, and are for kids. And I’m still a kid, okay, I’m an old and big fat kid, but still mentaly a kid. And sure I will play a lot with them with my son. So I got this X-Wing Fighter. I plan to get more of them, like the Falcon, the TIE Interceptor and the Star Destroyer. Actually today I wanted to buy the Falcon, but strangely, in the shop I went, they had all sets but this one. I want the Falcon because, first, I like the ship, and then, it comes with Han Solo. And Han Solo is the coolest guy in the whole universe (with Malcolm Reynolds)…

  23. Lately, there have been surfacing some great mini models here. Please take your time to accept my micro (not just mini!) models here as well. Because finally, after half a year of sweating, I can proudly present these micro ships to you . I've been wanting to make these guys ever since my A-wing, to expand my lines of micro SW ships. But it didn"t proove to be easy. [MOC] micro B-wing & Y-wing by Bert.VR, on Flickr I had already built a Y-wing with 5 pieces, but didn't consider that as what I really wanted . So I sat down again to play with all kinds of pieces. The idea of using Technic axles for the columns was what sparked the Y-wing. It also offered a chance to use my favorite part, the wrench. It may look a bit skinny, but at least a sence of greebling is there. The hardest part was the head of the fighter. I really wanted that sloping form, and it had to be thicker than the body (that wonderful SNOT brick). I came up with the frogman's foot inserted in a claw piece. And tada, a 15 part Y-wing is born (16 parts if you would like to add a minifig hand on top to simulate a cannon)! In my opinion, it's much better than the version from the advent calendar... [MOC] micro B-wing & Y-wing by Bert.VR, on Flickr A B-wing had never been featured in the advent calendar (the scale I aim for), and pretty soon I discovered why. To make it look good in this scale, it has to be as thin as a single plate, and studs would completely ruin the model . So I was left with all those specialty pieces. I scrolled through the whole part inventory of LDD multiple times, only to find nothing. The B-wing remained unbuilt for several months. Do you know that feeling when after a very long time, you finally find what you are looking for? Well, imagine the feeling I experienced when, completely out of the blue, I stumbled across THE piece for my B-wing . Recognized it already? The piece that makes the central wing of the B-wing is... It had everything (apart from not being produced in grey) to make my B-wing look good. Some claw pieces, and my favorite wrench part soon snapped into place. The wings were a bit tricky, but I'm satisfied with the minifig neck pieces. The hole in it can be assumed to be that logo on the wings. They're not foldable, but can be swapped out easily with normal 1x1 plates to go to landing mode. The B-wing is my smallest model yet, with only 8 (!) pieces . I hope you can enjoy it nonetheless. It's not buildable in real life, unless you want to paint a Buzz wing. The Y-wing is buildable (hurray!), if you go with regular yellow instead of cool yellow, and pick the technic axles in dark grey. so in fact, you could put it next to my x-wing, or any other micro's you might have.
