I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet, but I've noticed that LEGO seems to be printing too many details on this summer's Star Wars minifigures. Take Luke, for example: he has so many lines on his face that it makes him look downright ugly. What was wrong with his previous face prints? Other examples include General Veers from the AT-AT and Owen Lars from the UCS Sandcrawler. Does anyone else think that these figures are becoming too detailed? Or is it just me?

Inspired by the upcoming T-16 Skyhopper set, I made this MOC. Initially, it was an attempt to recreate the future model from what little pictures were available, but as I worked more and more, I realized that I was not satisfied with what I had created. Ord Mantell. Captain Jak is with, after mine and Deran's failure on Mon Calamari. I've got a bomb to blow a hole in the floor. Apparently Fett is hiding underground round here in this horrible junkyard. Captain Jak: "Get that demo charge set!" A few moments later, BOOM! The hole was blown, and Captain Jak had thrown himself into the hole blaster, ready. We heard Jak scream, and Deran ran to the edge of the hole to see what was wrong. Turns out Jak had dropped straight into an Imperial installation housing an Imperial officer and his Stormtroopers were firing back. The blaster fire intensified and others screamed, before silence reigned. A Kel Dor climbed out of the hole, easily carrying Captain Jak's wounded body. Kel Dor: "You would be wise to leave. There are more troopers coming. For your quest, you must unlearn what you have learned. You will find me again once your heads are clearer." The Kel Dor disappeared, leaving the cryptic message lingering, an empty junkyard and a room full of bodies below. What next? And an overview: So, my second entry, this time for Ord Mantell! Hi people! Long time since I have uploaded anything... But seeing as I got my wish that TLG were making a microfighter AT-AT, I couldn't wait to see it. When I did, I was slightly disappointed with it. It jsut didn't seem quite so... detailed... as I'd have imagined it to be. (Yes, I know it's a microfighter!) So anyways, I finally got round to trying to design my own yesterday, and finished it just a few moments ago. Sorry it is only on LDD but I dont have all the parts, and won't have the money to place an order until October :( It is designed to be built in real life with gravity and stuff considered :P So, here he is! Felucia Ord Mantell During the hunt for Boba Fett, Jacob Nion reaches the blue planet of Mon Calamari. The planetary security has reported the infiltration of one of the countless medical institutes across the planet. The Bothan decides to investigate this case. "You reported an infiltration of this area. What happened?" "Yes sir. We checked the security holograms. It was definitely Boba Fett. He didn't even try to cover up his track." "But what was he looking for? Has he stolen something or killed a patient?" "Sir, he just used the medical detection systems. I can search for his medi protocol at the FX unit." "Proceed." "It seems that he was infected with felucian Blood Fever. The FX Droid reports that the Fever was successfully defeated with the available serum of this facility." "Well that's an interesting detail of Fett's journey but it doesn't help me. I have to go to Bothawui." Finally I could upload my first entry. Thanks for your attention! Down with the empire!

Here we with my second entry for SoNE Episode VI: Bounty Hunter Hunt on Ord Mantell: Intercepting the communications... C&C are always welcome, I hope you Enjoy it, now let's the story talk! The spaceport of the capital of Ord Mantell, Worlport, had barely a IT infrastructure that could be defined like this, so the team of the rebel soldier Wedge09 had been diverted to another type of interception: all the ships that want land and depart, had, even little, to communicate with the spaceport, if only to know what docking bay they would use or if their route was clear, so if you could monitor the communication, you would know who and what was coming and going. Installed an interception antenna away from prying eyes, the rebel team began the slow work of sifting the telecommunications from their new location. "Hey, boss!" called the technician doing the interception "We've got something!" An identification code of a vessel was connected to the Slave I "Found it!" "Wait... there's a problem..." the technician remained silent for a moment continuing to watch the screen and listening to the communications in his headphones "They report that is departing from Ord Mantell!" "Damn!" This meant that the Slave I and with it, Boba Fett, were already on the planet when they arrived but that they were very well hidden. "Another hole in the water, but this time we were closer..."

Here we with my first entry for SoNE Episode VI: Bounty Hunter Hunt on Fondor: Searching in the logs... but it's gone... C&C are always welcome, I hope you Enjoy it, now let's the story talk! Wedge09's squad was sent on the trace of Boba Fett; sent on the industrial planet of Fondor; their objective was to search in the logs of one of the most important spaceport of the planet in search of the Slave I. Disguised as industrial workers, the team of Rebels adventured into the depths of Fondor until they got under the spaceport, more precisely to a maintenance node from which they could access the IT infrastructure. "The perimeter is secured, if the Imperials come, we should have time to get out..." "Ok..." the man at the console replied with a monosyllable while he went deeper into the IT infrastructure of the spaceport. "Here are the logs..." he said after a while, on the screen had appeared the names of all the ships that had arrived and departed from the spaceport, with the identification number, the time of arrival and the time of departure. Searching in the logs, the name Slave I appeared but when they saw the arrive and departure time, the soldiers cursed. The Slave I and Boba Fett with it had arrived and had gone before the Rebels could do anything. "Ok, let's back to the ship, we have to warn the command about this..." -
Although I'm predominantly into historical/fantasy/mythological minifigures, I've always had a soft spot for Jawas, so I decided to add one to my small SW collection. I considered getting an official TLC one on the secondary market but they're fairly expensive. Instead, I MOCed one mostly from parts I already had plus a few third-party pieces. Some of the LEGO parts - specifically, the hood and short legs - are the same as those in TLC's Jawas, though none of the parts came from an official Jawa. What do you think of the minifig? I'm thinking of MOCing a small diorama with this guy and an official R2-D2 minifig.

So I hope this is not an entry that anybody else took before I do now! If so please don't blame me too much, but I couldn't find any entry in this forum concerning this topic! So what I wanna do here is the following: As a beginner it is very hard to start a collection! Many questions have to be answered! This topic should help anyone who is interested in building his own creation out of LEGO and needs some advice which bricks and wich colors of bricks he should own before getting started. From my point of view it is important to have a wide range of different bricks in different colors before starting to build his/ her MOC. Because otherwise you won't be able to be as creative as possible. After reading the last sentence, everyone should shout out: You are silly! That's a lot of money to spend before I can get started! Exactly that's what this entry tries to figure out: Which parts do I need to get started as soon as possible! And here I need your help! Please post in this thread which parts you think someone at least needs to get started building a castle for example. Or if you are interested in the space theme and/ or already built something - then you have the experience others do not have, and here is the place where you can share! What is needed: First you should post what can be built out of the bricks you post. e.g.: Architecture, Castle, Forest, ... Second, give a short overview which colors you needed to build your creation. e.g.: for a castle you need dark bluish gray, light bluish gray, black, reddish brown, ... Third, are there any kinds of bricks that been needed especially to build a great MOC. e.g.: for a castle you surely need these bricks: 98283.jpg and/ or 60808.jpg From my point of view the quantity of parts is not needed - everyone should make his own decision how many of a kind he/ she want to own. Finally I will sum up all your posts in this post, so everyone has a quick overview what the community came up with! I give you an example: To build a realistic Forest you need the following: Colors: Plenty of dark green, bright green, green, olive green, black, reddish brown, dark reddish brown Kinds of bricks: These parts you should not miss in your collection: 2417.jpg, 2423.jpg, 30093.gif, 55236.gif If there are any other colors or bricks you use when creating a realistic forest please post it and I will add them in my post. So I am looking forward to read your suggestions and of course if this topic make sense! I will accept any feedback from you! If you say, no we do not need this stuff or you know where I can find something similar in the www please post it!

Has anything like this ever happened to you? According to the Swedish news agency TT, a Lego collector in Halmstad, Sweden is to be compensated by the customs office in Sweden. He had bought an anniversary edition of some Star Wars set from Hungary, but when he recieved the supposed to be MISB item, it had been opened by the customs (in search of ripoffs maybe ). The market price was about € 200, but with the seal broken it's value is only about half as much. He will now be compensated with the difference in value... If I had been a collector and not a builder I suppose I would rather have had that MISB than the compensation. /Thomas

Original Lego Star Wars 7153, Jango and Boba Fett Both are in excellent used condition, no scratches or cracks. Complete with original blasters, plus bonus spare Boba Fett original moulded helmet and rocket pack. If anyone is interested, PM me, and will get back to you asap. The story about Markus Montari and Paul Brickstorm at SoNE continues. The story so far: Join the Empire - Markus1984 Recruitment - Disco86 Swearing In - Markus1984 Foreign System - Disco86 Last Firing Exercise - Markus1984 Invasion Preparation - Disco86 The Invasion Begins - Markus1984 Finally the day has come and our two protagonists are on their way to the foreign planets surface. A comerade told them, that the planet was actually Endor. A planet full of trees and little fury Ewoks. Their objectives have been not totally coherent, but at least they know, that they should wipe out the inhabitants down there. Presumably nobody would miss these Ewoks, so it was okay to kill them for an important imperial mission. The Delta-Class DX-9 tranport was landing ruggedly and there was a loud noise of cracking wood, when the hatchway openend. Go, go, go ! Shoot at everything you see movin ! Grrrrrr, where are these little Ewoks ? Over there in the shrubs, I got one. Die, you little ball of fur, die ! Seems to be not really dangerous here. Position clear ! Take a look over here. The Empire may have some serious plans with this planet. That's an enourmos construction site. Looks like they are going to build a huge landing pad. Indeed, just wondering what they are planning to do here ? We should move on and desolate this natural environment, just like these guys in the AT-ATs are doing. Stop talking, keep moving !

Hi all! As a newbe, I will try to make it short :). Presenting you - the Lambda T4 class shuttle, designed in SW Microfighter scale. The ship (and others on my Flickr page) are designed for the Polish Lug competition. As for technical data - the hull consists of 57 pieces + one minifig. It is quite small, and yes - it was not designed to be flown by a Wookie (the cramped at this scale cockpit can be imagined by the of the pilot's face :)). The presented above version is in fact the third version of the craft. Version one was bigger, with straight lower wings. As I tried to grasp that nice look of the original model's wings, the version two emerged - still big (100 pieces, down to 96 by doing some update's) but incorporating the fine silhouette of the vessel. Version three was destined to be even smaller, but still sporting folded wings and even imitation of passanger compartment bay door. All the versions are presented on my Flickr album. Feel free to browse through other - more or less accurate - Microfighters models. Any comments are welcome.

The Imperial Base located in...I don´t know where...in a frozen planet in an uncharted system where the Imperial troops try to secure new energy sources and raw materials for sustaining the military effort. Although the basis of the troops are snowtroopers (109), there is a small platoon of the Special Operations Unit. This unit has many tasks, and one of them is to complement the reconaissance work of some of the drones. And these drones sometimes find a valuable prey. As soon as the location of the prey is known, a squad is send to get the pray because the Base Commander wants to arrange a BBQ. However, they don´t always arrive on time and nothing but bones is what they find. Oh! A wampa! This is rather a dangerous enemy! And the troops open fire, of course, in self defense. But a wounded wampa is a very dangerous creature, and more if it is at point blank. And the result is a stormtrooper with a leg amputated. Fortunately, the attack was reported and the evacuation APD was sent. The Base hospital was calmed. The medical officer was checking his IMPBOOK profile. The APD landed and two off-duty snowies were sent with a stretcher to help in the movement to the operating room. One of his fellows takes his leg before the injured stomtrooper gets inside. Quickly!!! The medical droid, also known as "You´d rather not meet me" is ready and starts the work. Wow! The leg is in place! It is so fast that the stormtrooper runs away.
