  1. Haven't seen any MOCs of the new white TIEs from Star Wars 7 yet, wanted to change that. Have this. The first of Sienar's TIEs with a more efficient white-painted solar cell, the TIE/cs utilizes five long range disruptor cannons, fed by two large power sources on the top of the wing struts. The extremely high rate of fire on the high-powered disruptor cannons necessitated the use of two "static emitter arrays", or SEAs. The bright flashes of the excess electric arcs emanating from the SEAs and the heavy strobe effect of the disruptor cannons earned the TIE/cs the nickname "Blinder". Later models were given an anti-flash protective layer on the cockpit, as to not damage the pilot's eyes. MORE HERE gaaah, mods please change name to just [The Force Awakens MOC] TIE/cs "Blinder" please

    (MOC) Mini X-Wing Display

Continuing my habit of making displays for my poybags, here is my display for my Mini X-Wing Fighter As you can see, it holds it up quite well And let me try out a new way of making a space background I hope you like it! And, remember, comments are always appreciated!
  3. Designed my first SHIiP (Seriously Huge Investment in Parts). DondoDyne SC-8030 "Goblin", a heavily armored gunboat on-par with the Skipray Blastboat. Eight ball-jointed engines, attached to four swiveling hubs for maximum maneuverability in and out of atmospheres. No reliance on repulsorlift or antigravity systems, making it perform equally across all environments, terrestrial or no. The bright red "shoot me here" fuel tanks are highly combustible, and when destroyed, often cause a chain reaction destroying all tanks, and causing damage to nearby ships. Perfect for suicide missions! The two rear crew are gunners, and the forward crew is made up of a pilot and co-pilot, the co-pilot having control of the lower turret, as well as the fuel, inertia, electrical, and communication systems. The pilot must balance use of the twin concussion missile launchers, five forward mounted laser cannons, the proton torpedo launcher, and the eight individually articulated engines. The swiveling hubs function on the s-foil system, so that's one thing off of the cluttered mind of a Goblin pilot. The pilot and co-pilot need to be trained heavily, and trained together. If one messes up, there's a big chance of it barreling into the ground while on fire and spinning. comments/criticism? these images can be found in my "musings" folder, i'll make a dedicated folder for this when i build it irl
  4. When Alpha Team was in its prime, I wasn't "around" yet. It had been recently discontinued when I ran into the theme on the "product" page of LEGO®'s official website. I remember when I was younger how much I was into making action/adventure type sci-fi creations; and after recently stumbling into the game again, I remember why. I didn't enjoy the game as much I what inspired me within the game. There were giant secret base fortresses and other outposts that you infiltrated. And because nearly everything was made of LEGO® (besides the terrain), I was inspired to build such things as control panels, sliding doors, laser forcefields, and a whole lot of unorthodox vehicles. The physical sets I looked up were pretty cool, but not nearly as cool as they seemed in the game. Same thing happened when I played the last LEGO® Star Wars™ game they made, and watched some gameplay videos of the Batman™ game. Speaking of Batman™, I was equally as inspired by the old animated videos LEGO® had on their website back when they first released the theme: videos such as the one where The Penguin™ broke into a museum, via a giant rubber ducky, and stole a bunch of diamonds. I don't know… There's just something about seeing LEGO®s virtually come to life that make the little plastic gears in my head turn and inspires me to build. (I'm uncertain of where to put this topic, so I'll trust the mods will give it a good home) Anyone else get similar effects from these games?

    [MOC] Republic Base On Florrum

This is my first Star wars moc- the first of many I hope! The idea for this started with my purchase of the geonosis troopers set (75089), modifying the walkers and it went on from there.

  9. Hello guys! I came up with a nice idea, let's see if it starts to fly or not... ;) What I had in mind was to create an awesome Lego-animation trailer about the Thrawn-trilogy (Heir to the Empire) that would be released slightly before the official Episode VII -movie in celebration of the new Star Wars -movie. The thing is that to make it to be awesome, all of the cutscenes should contain only MOCs. Also it should have many frames per second to make a smooth appearance. This apparently sounds very difficult and workful and so it is. Actually there is no one on the Earth I guess that would have all the necessary MOCs for the effort. So what I propose is to make this trailer as a team work. There are many highly skilled builders that have made some fabulous scenes or vehicles of the Thrawn-trilogy already. And of course the ones that could still build one scene in due time, but not all. If enough enthusiastic persons would agree to make this, all it would take would be to animate a very short clip or two by each individual from the scene they have built. You know what they are like in real trailers, something like less than 5 to 10 seconds maximum and cut to the next shot. Of course, there are a couple of key persons that should put here some more effort. - One would be the director (not me) that should have some experience on animating and leading projects. The director should also hold contact to the builders. - Script writer. I can help with this, but in such a big community, maybe here is someone with some professional experience actually? - A semi-professional editor would do good, too, because there should be some vehicles flying around. Then we would need the MOC-builders. Luckily as I said we already have some and I know here are many super talented builders/animators so this shouldn't be impossible. A couple of examples I know: Thrawn's Command Room http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=107447 Hyllyard in Myrkr http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/402528 Cloning Chamber in Mount Tantiss http://www.eurobrick...pic=101238&st=0 Vehicles: X-Wing, Imperial Shuttle, TIE-Interceptor, Speeder Bike, AT-ST, Probe Droid http://www.brickshel...gi?f=543035&n=0 Vehicle: Y-Wing http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=84780 So, what do you think? Do we have the necessary enthusiasm and are there persons for this project in this forum? If there is something you would like to do, make a post beneath and let's see if this can actually work or not... ;D Personally I can help to make contacts with the people. And I can also provide a busy supply of detailed MOC vehicles. Imperial Star Destroyer and AT-AT on the way as next. -Samppu
  10. Help Anakin Skywalker defeat the evil Sith Lord Count Dooku and his Super Battle Droid to rescue the captive Chancellor Palpatine aboard the Separtist flagship the Invisible Hand! Four minifigures are included that have been compiled from other sets: a Super Battle Droid, Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker (with face of Attack of the Clones Anakin), and Chancellor Palpatine (includes two of the One Ring piece from Lord of the Rings sets on his wrists to accurately represent the restraints that the chair had in the scene from Revenge of the Sith). The two builds that are included are: a light that sat aside the chair in the film (that can be split in half by applying pressure on the bit sticking out of the of the support beam; represents Anakin or Count Dooku using their lightsaber to split the beam and use their force ability to throw the top half at their opponent) and the chair that holds Chancellor Palpatine in the film (which can be swiveled around using the black flat tile sticking out of the bottom of the build). Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!

  12. Episode VIII: Shaping the Odds: The Indigenous Triffian of Tatooine Finally a new mission! I was little bit bored, rotting in the base, watching films. As usually, it is happening on Tatooine. I mean, what isn't? I don't know all the details, all I know is, that I have to get a podracing vehicle and someone to drive it. That's all. Oh, and he must win the race. It's nice to have a contact when you're on Tatooine. Bothan spy net doesn't work here. Luckily for me, I have some old friends here. And they quickly found me a racer. A very talented and skilled driver, Johnnathin Rodentmatt, also called "The Indigenous Triffian of Tatooine. He could win easily with better engines, but I have something even better, something our friends from the Empire friendly "lend" us. The X45, best fuel in the galaxy. He will surely win with that thing. And ... Yihaaaa!
  13. Hey, haven't posted here in a long time. I made a vignette, star wars of course. More images! <3
  14. hey everyone =) my name's clement, from singapore. i'm very pleased to have the chance to get to know fellow lego fans from all over the world. Lego and Star Wars are my joys from young. Bought so many UCS and haven't actually built them, and then suddenly there was this ridiculous TRU sale in one of the malls, and so I bought a few of the mini SW ships and had a go. After that, it was no turning back, and I have been building day and night, much to the irritation of the other half... lol The Imperial Probe droid to me, is one of the coolest ever created in the entire series. It set the tone for the dark ESB chapter, and the scene of the droid emerging from the crash, legs dangling and head spinning menancingly still holds me in awe till this day. But I just thought it doesn't get enough attention, and so I set out to build my own. =) The final lego droid is made up of 550++ pieces and stands about 40cm tall (including base). Here it is, placed next to a 12inch "SIDESHOW" battle droid, for scale comparison. Here's another angle, next to a full size stormtrooper, for scale comparison as well lol The toughest challenge in this project, has to be that head, which has details on a 360 degree basis. I honestly sprained my brain on this one. In the photo below, different views of the head is presented, to illustrate the different eyes and snouts that I tried my best to replicate. Using different sizes of s, m and L, I tried in my purist mode, to differentiate all the variants and to keep them as close to the movie as possible. The legs provided the most fun of the build. Achieving full posability was a challenge I set myself, while attempting to get the unique claws to mirror the ones in the movie. Here's an R&D concept shot, before I finally arrived at the final profiles which I am contented with. I hope fellow fans will approve of this Probeject.=) I have also submitted the project to the Lego Ideas platform. If you also think this is a pretty okay project, which you would like LEGO to consider turning into a real project, please do hop over to the link below to support=). I'm honestly quite embarrassed to be canvassing for support here, but the Lego Ideas platform require creators to promote their projects to create awareness, with the hope that it will pull in support. If you would like to back this uo, please click here to go to the website, to give your support >> https://ideas.lego.com/projects/92233 FInally, design really never ends, thats what I learnt in school. If you have comments and ideas to help further improve on this project, I look forward to hearing from everyone =) With that, I thank you for reading and supporting. I hope this is a Droid you are looking for! =) regards dark grey matters https://www.flickr.c...57650561075318/
  15. After his recent promotion to Dark Troopers, Lord Tyrus had been assigned a rather mundane task, in his opinion, one far more appropriate for an ISB officer; seizing an illegally modified podracer, and imprisoning it's builder: a suspected Rebel collaborator, Jorvass Kahan, building modified pod racers in for the Rebellion in order to win them a bet, and therefore a substantial amount of cash. But ignoring orders wouldn't get him anywhere, and it had been because of his great ability to follow orders that he was in his position. He looked down at his datapad. His scouts had reached the selected zone and made contact, with no casualties. A good sign. Too good. Reports had told Tyrus that the mechanic was very well equipped, with many contacts and people working for him, therefore working for the Rebellion as well. For a squad of 3 scouts to have reached his small overground workshop without any casualties meant a miracle. A miracle, or almost certainly some sort of catch... * * * SoNE 8 by Lord Tyrus, on Flickr * * * Upon reaching the outpost, Tyrus was immediately met by sergeant Davon, with the other two scouts slouched around various parts of the otherwise empty building. He had heard great things about is man. He had been in the army just over a year more than Tyrus had, and apparently had been offered the position of AT-AT commander, yet refused it, preferring to continue his scout work, his great talent in the area and missions completed earning him the attention of the High Command, and also Lord Tyrus. He seemed to him the perfect man for this mission. After a quick talk with the scout, he learned the mechanic and his workers had fled eastward to a hidden base. Hidden, as the collaborator had thought, to anyone looking, but not to the technology of Imperial Intel. Tyrus knew he would probably need the HawkHead missiles loaded aboard his Scorpion Assault Vehicle. He would be able to file a report of their effectiveness to the Imperial Department of Military Research. If they worked like he had been promised, all that would remain of Jorvass Kahan's underground base would be a mile-wide crater, with him lost with it. Hopefully, Tyrus thought, the other Imperial agents had fulfilled their missions to do with the upcoming pod race, or the Rebels would gain a substantial amount of money for the war effort from their winnings, which could potentially be the turning point of the war... And some unedited pics, that are far less savoury:

  17. Hey guys, For an internal contest on ImperiumDerSteine we have to build the new Desert Speeder vom the EpisodeVII Trailer! It must be build with current parts and techniques (as much as possible) and it must be feasible in 20 minutes! Not so easy . Doesnt think that can be so difficult to build this speeder because the shape and details are very hard at this size. But now here the pictures. All photos you found on flickr. Hope you like it! markus
  18. Oops, I thought I posted this a few days after my MTV-7. Sorry! Anyways, here goes. The PDT-8 Personnel Deployment Transport was a small two-man vehicle used by the Rebel Alliance. It had two open spaces that could be used to transport people or cargo. It featured two large jet thrusters at the side and also had two small blaster cannons. The Rebel Alliance utilized several of these weapons during the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY during the Galactic Civil War. Like with my other Mini-Rigs, I took the idea and made it a little practical, IMO. Having a transport for 2 droids, doesn't do alot on battle. So I made it a little larger, while still trying to keep the shape of the original. Also, scale is something that doesn't translate well from Kenner figure to Lego very well. So, it is probably pretty close to "scale" giving the difference in figures?! The troops can be let out of the rear, guns ready to under the ramp. But, like my MTV-7, I did make a smaller, more accurate model. One that is more in line with the original. Hope you guys like it. I will be building this and the other Mini-Rigs I did early next year. This model has 211 pieces. Thanks for looking, Jamie 11 - EU - Mini-Rig- PDT8 - Personnel Deployment Transport.lxf
  19. Hello everyone. Just wanted to share my recently finished (but not completed) Micro Star Wars Chess set built for my twin 7 year old sons. They are big Star Wars, Lego and Chess fans and I felt this was something nice I wanted to share with them and everyone here. Obviously it's not completely original and the micro figs are from the Battle of Hoth game set. I was also fortunate enough to acquire the Promotional Lego Star Wars Battle of Hoth Keychain which included the ultra rare printed 2 x 2 Tile with the Star Wars logo. [MOC] Upsilon-class Lander

Figured I wanted to make somethin' like a Sentinel-class Shuttle to carry all the shiny stormtroopers I got for Christmas, but since 1. I don't have the correct color or shape of colors to make a perfect Sentinel and 2. I also wanted my shuttle to carry AT-STs, I decided to go my own way with this. So, here is construction log one: As you can see, I have a tidy little gearbox that the wings are attatched to. Here's the crank that operates it (I'll turn it in to something prettier later.) And here's with the wings folded down. That's it for today! Come back tomorrow for more!

  22. Hey guys! Like I mentioned in my first thread, I enjoy making brickfilms and here is my latest film Star Wars Rebels: Inquisitor Mara Jade Set before the events of A New Hope. After the Emperor formed an order of Force users known as the Inquisitors to hunt down the last remnants of Jedi, a young Mara Jade must prove herself worthy of the title: Inquisitor. I am hopeful that this could be the beginning of a new series of films that would focus more on the villains of Star Wars and show the universe from their perspective. So feel free to root for the bad guys. Hope you like it so far and be sure to Stay Tuned For More!
  23. We are running the Star Wars Olympics now at our german forum Imperium der Steine, this is my entry to the third round. I also uploaded my entries to round 1 and round 2 here on Eurobricks. I had to build something of my choice from the Expanded Universe. This scene shows the cloning facility in the Mount Tantiss on Wayland, known from the Thrawn Trilogy. I tried to combine the style from Kamino with imperial grey and black. If you don't know anything about the Thrawn Trilogy, I highly recommend to read it, or get the audio book, it is really intersting and exciting. Greets Disco
