The Queen celebrates her birthday on the 25th of December, many guest come to celebrate with her, even the dwarven king of Tondelheim. On this bright moonlit night, many festivities are planned, however the queen isn't very impressed by the jester. Visit the Queen by moonlight by Ids, on Flickr For a better view of the King and Queen: The King of the Hill, over there, somewhere by Ids, on Flickr Some background info, the scene is lit using 6 old 12V train lights, this gives the needed warm light for the scene. For the moonlight I used an old phone as a flashlight (nice white LED light) and for the candle on the table to the right, with the King and Queen, I used an exo-force "Fiber Optics Cable Wide 20L" which runs through the candle, table, and wall behind the figs, there it is lit using another flashlight. The stained glass is build around an old Knights Kingdom panel, which was a bit difficult to incorporate because I did not want to use the piece that is normally used. I used a bunch of animals, can you spot them all. Thanks for looking and I am always happy to hear some comments.

Another Kaliphlin free build, and also the start of a story line I'm working on about Katoren. I'd like to claim UoP credits for: Advanced windows and window frames History "I'm glad you were all able to come to this meeting," Aymeri greeted the three men before him. "As we all know, the Desert King has controlled Katoren for too long, and it is time we did something about it." Arioch, the oldest of the group, gave a quick nod in reply. While Tierri replied, "He won't rule Katoren much longer!" Tierri had been a strong supporter of the High Council during the Kaliphlin civil war, and was known to be quite a capable warrior, though often a bit brash. Aaqil looked solemnly from under his turban at each of the others in the room. He knew well how much it meant to all of them to reclaim Katoren, but also understood that it would be a difficult task. "But what is our plan to overcome the Desert King's rule," queried Arioch. "It will take time, and careful planning to break his reign in Katoren." "An open war is out of the question, we have neither the manpower or weaponry," responded Aymeri, "but a small force of highly trained men could make things very difficult for our enemies. And with our contacts inside the city, such a force could be especially effective." Arioch nodded slowly, thinking over Aymeri's words. "You can count me in, I'd love to see some action against those moronic mummies again," interjected Tierri. "Which brings me to the reason I asked for the three of you to meet with me. My soldiers remain loyal to me, but would need further training in the illusive combat methods we must use." "Indeed they will, but where could we train?" asked Tierri. "There are too many supporters of that false king to risk training in the city." Aaqil spoke up, "I may have a solution. There's a ruined fortress west of the city that I've often traveled by with my merchant caravan. Though its walls are crumbling and overgrown, you could easily conceal a good number of men inside." "One moment," Aymeri said and moved to grab a scroll off a nearby shelf. Spreading it on the table, the others saw it was a map of Katoren and some of the surrounding countryside. "There, pointed Aymeri, "Aaqqil is right, this old castle would make an ideal spot for our training grounds!" “But how will we get the men,and a supply of food and weapons there un-noticed?” asked Tierri. “You can’t just be constantly going in and out through the city gates, or the Desert King forces will become suspicious.” “If we alternate who delivers supplies, and try to mix in with regular caravans, we should be able to manage well enough,” Aymeri replied. “I can sneak my men out over the next fortnight and begin training. And remember, secrecy is of the utmost importance. Hello everyone It's been a while since I've posted a MOC as I have been busy with . But I am proud to now show you the latest addition to my city, Brixton Valley. It's a modular style church! It consist of over 7000 bricks and is on four 32 x 32 baesplates, although the church itself is mostly on two of them.LEGO MOC Church by Tim, on Flickr It is quite large, although not as large as I anticipated when planning and building it. I was hoping it would be the largest building in town, but turns out the town hall is taller. I think it is still an impressive building for the city. It does feature stained glass all the way around, for the photos I put my ipod torch inside to show the stained glass off, right now I don't have any plans for permanent lighting inside. My third build for Round 5 of The Tourney at MOCpages. Largely inspired by Bentoft's interiors. The bley/tan colorscheme is something I've wanted to do for a while, and I'm quite pleased with how it looks. The large stained glass windows were an interesting challenge, as they're tilted to give each stained panel more of a diamond shape. William Marshall earned the favour of four successive kings in England, by his loyal service. He rose to become one of the most influential and powerful men in England, by the end of his life. This is the final build in the collab between myself and MKJoshA. I hope you enoyed it as much as I did. Kabel inspired the floor design with the sweet custom sail on his ship, you can see it in the Challenge III topic. Upon arriving in Valholl, Wyndor and Glorfindel went straight to the capitol building and once inside that they headed to the throne room itself. Several nobles and officers of the army were discussing current matters and arguing different strategies. Elon Chorian and Steen Larsson were waiting to hear news of their travels... "It's good to see you two again," said Glorfindel. "Likewise, I'm glad you weren't injured or waylaid on your mission," Elon replied. "Now what do you have to report?" Glorfindel reported: "Tension between different races and factions in Mitgardia is on the rise, but as of yet most are still willing to work against a common threat. How long they will maintain that attitude remains to be seen. Even now, some new change of events could move things toward a civil war. The dwarves, if rumours be true, seem most likely to make a rash move and plunge Mitgardia into chaos. Reportedly they've been having many long councils in their great cities concerning the invasion of Avalonia." "Yes, I have heard similar tidings," Larsson added. "Then we must look into the matter, we need definite proof that the dwarves are plotting to attack Avalonia before we can intervene. I am very lucky to be partaking in part of a collaboration at STEAM 2013 along with 7 other fantastic British builders. We are building a medieval village, circa early 14th century. James has already posted his castle. My section is an abbey, loosely based on Tintern Abbey in Wales.
