  1. Hello community! Some of you may remember, the others don’t, but some years ago I actually ran a LEGO CUUSOO project that proposed to create a line of micro ships from your favorite game FTL: Faster Than Light. Despite having a huge following and even some articles on the media, and reaching the ultimate goal of 10.000 followers, the Lego Group did not pick the project for their LEGO Ideas set. I have promised myself that one day I will make the instructions available for the fans, and laid low for too long. But wait no more! I have put the PDF instructions for the micro ships from FTL: Faster Than Light on Gumroad! You heard that right, this is not a drill! The instructions are released in two forms: individually and in bundles! The three FTL Bundles cost 9$ and include a set of instructions for FTL ships plus a FREE instruction of game’s mascot ship The Kestrel! The one MEGA Bundle costs 22$ and includes all available FTL ship instructions AND A FREE instruction of The Kestrel! And finally, each PDF instruction is also sold separately for 5$. !Check out my Gumroad profile to see what’s available! But wait, there’s more! To provide an example of an instruction, and for the sake of self-advertisement, here’s an absolutely free of charge PDF Instruction with The Kestrel and a SUPER BONUS in form of an instruction of SSV Normandy from Mass Effect franchise: >>>CLICK HERE<<< Awesome! Now, a couple of disclaimers, just to be sure we’re on one page. 1. I do not own FTL Faster Than Light. It’s a game made by Subset Games aka Matthew Davis and Justin Ma, and y'all should know that, we're on their forums. The instructions are sold with their approval. 2. These are digital goods, which means there are no piece packages. Those are PDF files that show you how to assemble those micro ships with the pieces available, plus brick lists so you could easily buy what you need. 3. The choice of instructions included in the bundles is not random. With the help of Glen Bricker and polls he made during the CUUSOO campaign we’ve paired them up, so there’s that. Don’t request new bundles or ask to remake the existing ones. 4. Yes, the Kestrel is in every bundle. It’s free, so why not, right? 5. If you want me to make something that you like, go and check my Commissions info post. And now, shout-outs! Shout-out to Subset Games for making an awesome game that inspired me to make this all possible! Shout-out to Glen Bricker, who supported me through all the hardships of doing the CUUSOO project and beyond that. Go, check out and support his current project Brickyt! Shout-out to Stefan “Sastrei” Garcia for creating those amazing instructions! Go check out his Homeworld conversions! Shout-out to all of you who followed and supported LEGO FTL project on CUUSOO, and to those of you who over the years found me and told me that you are still waiting for the instructions to happen! Here’s to you, FTL and LEGO fans! And a little shout-out to my first customer artiestroke from Tumblr. You’re the MVP Roxy. :3
  2. Greetings Fellow Sci-Fi Fans, I present to you my version of the Bushwacker Battlemech from the PC game Mechwarrior 4. It is fully posable. It has great balance, and its strong. It took 2 months to design, perfect and build. I was up every night until 4 AM. It is captured in a running and gunning pose. I will try to make better pictures in the future. Feedback is welcome. Features of the BSW-S2 variant: The S2 is a variant of the Bushwacker that makes the 'Mech more effective at short to medium ranges. The 'Mech carries an ER Large Laser to allow the 'Mech to engage an enemy at long ranges as it closes. The 'Mech carries an LB-X Autocannon/10 or a Rotary 5 unit with 6 barrels, which can fire both standard and cluster ammunition for long to medium range engagement capabilities. For close combat, the 'Mech has two SRM-4 short range missile launchers, making it a powerful unit at any range. For added defense, the S2 carries an Anti-Missile System. There's a review of the book here I was so happy with my figure I decided to build a little Nostromo environment for it!

    [MOC] GARC Star Cruiser

Last week I've built this small MOC in just an hour. It's a micro-scale GARC Star Cruiser. It's a fast spaceship. And it has landing gear. 5. Hello everyone! I'm glad to show you my Armageddon Armadillo vehicle. This MOC was designed for competition which was held in our LTR fan-group (https://vk.com/technic_club). 18 years ago, when I was 10 I had been very impressed by Armageddon movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120591/), thats why i decided to build this MOC for competition. Armadillo is a special mobile drillers designed to work in a space. I hope you watched this movie :) The hardest and most interesting part to design was drilling mechanism. The main problem was to fit all parts in 3 studs wide. I tried to discover new building techniques: half-stud structure and using part #6116604. I was really happy when I saw Madoca's modification of rm8's Toyota, because he used there the same idea. Madoca is my favourite designer. Try to feel how it was cool to know, that I discovered something 2 weeks earlier than master Madoca! Sorry for uncommon video-hosting. Unfortunately Youtube is so unfriendly to fan-art. http://rutube.ru/video/private/3d9186e007702d0490861beaf17452f3/?p=EfMiPIEpi8XV3qtgPEPlag Hope you like it, and thanks for attention. P.s. possibly working youtube link

    Impetus, ISV

Impetus, ISV As a general rule, there is a rather conspicuous dislike toward ISVs and their captains. ISVs, or Independent Spacer's Vessels, are seen as relics of a bygone age, where space cowboys flew around the uncharted depths of space, discovering new planets and living for, well, independence. Today, there are only a few left, but they continue in that tradition of independence, with some using their freedom to engage in shady dealings, and others doing what they can to help those who cannot help themselves. And, of course, in their exploration of space, they occasionally run across aliens out to kill them, necessitating the occasional use of armaments... Just make sure you watch your back out there. Further photos can be found on flickr: https://www.flickr.c...157666125280434 Thanks for checking out this MOC, and please forgive any errors as this is only the second time I've done this, and the first was a complete bust.

    Cruzen In Space

Well I have finally ventured into space, so I am now a little "spacey"! Mainly what I am calling Space Racers. Plus my first spaceship "Cruzen In Space". Ok, hey what do you expect from a VOAFOL! I am asking Blacktron aficionados to download the LDD and add what they would like this fighter's color scheme to be. Remember that some of these pieces are not available in all colors but if the parts are available and within my cost I will build it in real brick, once again, if possible, otherwise it will just be an LDD for ever... [LDD] Frame

Based off of "Perimeter", an RTS by Russian developer studio K-D Lab, Frame is a mobile city created to traverse the treacherous and ever-changing bubble worlds of Psychosphere. The city itself is but a tiny part of the Frame which also houses machinery to maintain base when on-world, as well as mystical Spiral, a device that allows inter-dimensional travel. Here are separate pictures of the city and the structures built around it: The City The Core The Core is a vital part of the base built around the Frame. It accumulates and transfers energy, collected from the world's surface, to the Frame. It also powers the structures that are not directly connected to the Frame when they are built within the colored zone around the Core. The Lab This is one of the laboratories that a player must build in order to access new units within the game. This particular one allows access for laser tech-based units. And here is a reference image, an in-game screenshot of the Frame and four Cores:

    Mini Mech-suit

The 'Mini' style of Mech suit was deigned to provide a high level of strength and protection at a fraction of the size and cost of larger Mechs and ARMS, making them more efficent for demolitions and salvage than their larger cousins. The greatest downside to this size of Mech-suit is the fact it cannot have an onboard reactor, making it require constant recharges. As such there are specially designed outlet ports for shipboard reactors on any salvage ship with a compliment of these machines. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Goldsmartie/MiniMechSuit/image1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Goldsmartie/MiniMechSuit/image2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Goldsmartie/MiniMechSuit/image3.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Goldsmartie/MiniMechSuit/image5.jpg if you really like this model, be sure to leave a comment, or even support it on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/125899 Thanks a bunch for looking!

    Lego Ideas: Red Dwarf

Hi, I hope everyone has had a nice Christmas. I have submitted my Lego Ideas project (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/125506), and was hoping to gather some support and/or comments on the project. So for those that may not have heard of the TV Show 'Red Dwarf', I'll give some background. Red Dwarf is a British Sci-Fi Comedy series that started in 1988 and is still going, originally a BBC production, it was revived in 2008 by the digital TV channel Dave. Recently Dave announced that 2 new series had been commissioned and would air in 2016 and 2017 respectively. “This is an S.O.S distress call from the mining ship Red Dwarf. The crew are dead, killed by a radiation leak. The only survivors are Dave Lister, who was in suspended-animation during the disaster, and his pregnant cat who was safely sealed in the hold. Revived 3 million years later, Lister's only companions are, a life form who evolved from his cat and Arnold Rimmer, a hologram simulation of one of the dead crew. I am Holly, the ships computer with an IQ of 6,000 - the same IQ of 6,000 P.E. teachers.” - Holly (A.I. Red Dwarf) My project features the main ship 'JMC mining ship Red Dwarf', 4 minifigures based on the 4 main characters and 2 scutters. I've designed this project to not only appeal to fans of the show, but also to every Lego fan young and old. Since Red Dwarf is set 3 million years into the future, the ship and its crew would quite feasibly fit in perfectly with any of the official Lego space themes or to some extent Star Wars. I have created this project using the Lego Digital Design software, so at the moment all the pictures have been captured using that, but I have ordered the parts and will upload the photos as soon as I can. If you like my idea please support it here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/125506 Many Thanks Pauleo

    [MOC] Loki's Shadow

I completed this SHIP some days ago for SHIPtember. I hope you like it. Loki's shadow by FonsoSac, en Flickr Loki's Shadow is a ship of the Confederation of Planets Human specializing in electronic warfare. Named after the deceitful norse god Loki. As the god Loki its power is not based on the strength of their arms but on the ability of creating confusion in enemy systems . Most of the interior is full of nano procesadores running AI programs that try to penetrate enemy defenses. In the Sgur system conflict Loki's shadow was crucial to disable all systems of the Admiral Garamon's flagship leaving it at the mercy of the Confederate frigates. The battle was decided with no casualties in 12 minutes.
