    [MOC] Awaiting Rescue

"Well, my latest transaction did not go as well as hoped. The supposed merchants I was dealing with turned out to be pirates and upon receiving my wears, they promptly dropped me off on this lonely island and flew off. To keep my sanity, I've continued to practice my fencing. Maybe the next time I run into trouble, I will be better prepared... But, like an old friend of mine once said, 'it is better to be alive and bored, than to be dead and no longer alive.'"

    The Soldiers Outpost

Recently I finished my rocky island moc. I started building on this moc late 2011. Then I shelfed it. But now it's done and has been on display at LEGO World and Klodsfest (the Danish lugs annual LEGO event) If you haven't build rocks an mountains before you'll be surpriced at how many bricks it takes. Apart from the small DBG baseplate i'm satisfied with the result. More photos at http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/412337
  5. Hey Eurobrickers! It's been a while since I posted any of my creations here (besides my SPC entry), so I thought I post a bunch of 'em here for all of you who don't follow me on flickr to enjoy! First up, one I built last fall Aquam de Petra: Next, my CCC entries: Toil in the Soil and A Delicious Distraction This creation shows an unhappy nobleman, who'd really like to get some sleep: Noisy Neighbors A young boy stumbles upon some mysterious ruins in this scene: Unexpected Discovery And my most recently posted castle MOC: The Carpenter Check out my flickr stream for additional pictures and descriptions of all these builds and more: https://www.flickr.com/photos/91596610@N03/ I have another castle MOC waiting to be photographed that I will hopefully get posted here within the next couple days. Hope you enjoyed this look back on my last few creations! I plan on posting here more regularly in the future, so stay tuned. ;) Soli Deo Gloria! -Digger

    MOC: Fortress on the Rocks

Hi, here is some more of my work for our little dwarven friends: The Fortress on the Rocks (I am always bad at titles for my MOCs ) I hope you don't mind the black background, but as some snow has fallen, white wouldn't have worked out (and red would have been strange). This is the "left side" of the rather large MOC. My aim was to create a mountain which is inhabited below and on its top: The guards seem to be happy: There's a traveling salesman approaching: .. and a few guarded stairs lead up to a secret door There is the entrance to the fortress: .. .and the entrance to the mountain: A view from the right: Please don't pay attention to the landscape around the mountain. This was just added for the picture. The MOC is intended to be "just the mountain". And then this is all very modular: The mountain consists of three parts. The upper fortress is made up of four modules + draw bridge tower. I have included the Harry Potter secret door, to allow escape from the fortress' prison, but that is more on the funny side of things. I hope you like this and I am happy to receive your comments!

[MOC] Probably 6265 Sabre Island Revisited

Hello, now, it is time to present a fortress on an island that is inspired by 6265 "Sabre Island": And I am very happy to do so: As you may recall, the Sabre Island set as a blue coat rowing towards the island. My island version is slightly bigger... There is a brave guard awaiting the boat: Aerial view (not historically correct ) On one side of the island we find a waterfall (through which you get into the inside of the rock) On the other side there is a cave (with a secret door that this unlucky guy obviously did not find) The different levels of fortress and rock are accessible .. and everything is modular: (The monkey will come in later) The white background makes it easier to spot a few things: I hope you like this island fortress - and I am looking forward to comments and questions!

    Lego UCS Dropship

Here is the deal. I was going to enter SHIPtember this year, but I accidently made the main structure of this thing 60 instead of 80 (the cockpit was planned to be 20 studs)... But hey, I still got a pretty nice looking... thing? Right?! Lets move on to the actual creation itself. It's a dropship that's heavily based the very old "Tunnel Transport" set from the Rock raiders theme. The location of cockpit is the only difference really. It was really fun to put it together, especially considering it would be the very firsts RR SHIP, even if that did't happen it is still quite massive and measures up to 84 studs! For more pictures please visit my Brickshelf folder: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=548558 Thanks for taking a look!

    Anrarr Rock

On a rocky outcrop not far from castle Anrarr lies the rock upon which sits a watchtower older than the castle itself, a watch tower built to guard the builders settlers of Anrarr from the many pirates privateers coming from the whither woods and beyond. Today the fort is still in use manned by the guard of Lord Parimere to keep watch of the castle it helped Build. All credit for the original Kaliphin map go to nice.marmot https://www.flickr.c.../faves-1...</a> More Pics on flickr I'd like to claim UoP credits For Geography, Mountains or cliffs, Hydrology, Waves, Architecture, Roofing 1 and Landscape Design, Studs up rocks and Cliffs.
  11. Last week I've made the Ultra Fast Tunnel Speeder. The Rock Raiders using this speeder for fast movement trough caves and other places where other flying units can't reach. The speeder have an basic equipment such as two lights at the front and a radar dish at the backside of the speeder. And extra elements that gain more stability and fast movement. The chassis of the speeder is a combination of Technic and bricks, which hold together by pins and plates. Photo's: UF Tunnel Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr UF Tunnel Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr UF Tunnel Speeder backside by LegoMathijs, on Flickr UF Tunnel Speeder backside by LegoMathijs, on Flickr I've made this speeder for Rock Raiders II The Block Raiders. A new Rock Raiders game needs a new speeder design I've shared this pictures with the developers of the game so maaybe they can use it as inspiration and made the pictures in a tipical Rock raiders background. I hope you like it The Album of the Ultra Fast Tunnel Speeder: https://www.flickr.c...157645213534943
  12. Entry for Book II Challenge II Category B for deGothias side. The plague devastates Avalonia. Even the avalonian island Moria wasn't spared by the wave of illness. So Sir Moriartus called Mitgarda for medics, because of the good relations between him and some of the lords there. Aaron lost his wife and children in the last cruel war in Mitgardia and decided to study the old scriptures of medic. He wants to save other people from the dolor he got and save as much lives as possible. But the habitation of other people always reminds him of his dead family, so he lives solitary from the village on a small rock in the sea. In his small home he has everything he needs. Every day he paddle to the coast to heal people from the plague. The fight seems absurd, but Aaron tries his best to save the inhabitants of Moria. The free time Aaron has in his home, he spends on reading and rearing of swans. Explore all the details on MOCpages! I hope you like it and feel free to post your thoughts about this creation. :) Jonas

[HSH] Cat A - Steampunk Kraken

Hello there I had some dark weeks without that much building, but the Home Sweet Home-Contest gave me motivation to build again. There are several cool Lego-Space themes, but i took the chance to build once again in one of my favorite Sci-Fi-worlds: Steampunk! "Every style-conscious Gentleman needs his home. Some have mansions at the sea. But why living at the sea when you can live in the sea?" -Sir Octavius- This is the home of the steamy gentleman Sir Octavius and the scene stands on a round base. The base is not nearly 48 studs in diameter, but i wanted to have space to play with the tentacles overlapping the border of this circle. All photos on MOCpages. Stay creative and steamy! *toof* *toof* Jonas
  14. I'd like to receive UoP credit for: trees [Landscape Design], flowing water [Hydrology], and river scene [Geography]= 3 credits Fossgard river is famous for its many waterfalls, the most prominent of which is simply called Fossgard Falls. Many bridges span the river, and Infernum and Glorfindel are now crossing on one of the smaller bridges... "What do you think we're up against?" Infernum asked Glorfindel. "No idea, but I imagine we'll find out within several days. The border isn't far now," Glorfindel replied. "And whatever it is, we'll make it wish it had never come into Mitgardia." This was my first time building a waterfall that splits, and I also tried a new tree technique. All C&C welcome

  16. This is my first entry for the Age of Mitgardia freebuild challenge After William, Maxime and Alexander walked trough the woods of Mitgardia for a few days, they decided that it was time to search for a place where they could rest. They were exhausted and needed sleep and food. They found a river full of fish and now they just had to find a safe place to rest. There was a big rock a few meters from the river and after finding out that there was a hollow space underneath it, they decided that this would be their home for the next couple of days. William climbed on top of the rock and had an amazing view. He could see that they were not far away from a little village, because he saw smoke coming up above the hills, but for now, they're too tired to travel further. William stayed on top of the naturally shaped tower to watch out for any hunters or dangerous animals. William Bright on top of the rock The hollow space underneath the rock, covered with leaves to protect them from unwanted visitors. Without the minifig. I'm a newbie to building MOC's and the small amount of bricks I have doesn't really compensate that but I hope that, with your C&C and these phase builds, I keep getting better at it. So, I would really appreciate any C&C from you guys Thanks for viewing.

  19. I filmed myself taking apart the 9398 Rock Crawler, then turned it into a time lapse. I'm rather pleased with how this one turned out, but I want to try again with the Unimog and a more consistent camera placement.
