This is Daniele Benedettelli’s SENTIN3L…in an extensively upgraded form! I programmed an entirely new program for Blast3rDroid (mySENTIN3L) that enables Remote-Control of the robot! This robot is about 22% quicker than the original! The RC program has two channel modes: Channel 1 for regular usage, and Channel 2 for upgraded usage modified for quicker speed and more accurate turning! The color scheme has been revamped, featuring a lot of bold coloring (most of the black has been replaced with red and white). I added more panels and wider panels for improved aesthetic appearance. The COLOR CUB3 has been revised and now has four colors: black, red, white, and yellow. -

Hi All, I just used 41533-41535 to build this weird mecha. There are less than 200 parts from these 3 bags. It's a bit diffcult to build it but I really enjoy! Hope you all like my creation!

Hi to all! waiting to the sun to film the RC Dawnbreaker I've edited and posted an old video that I've made to test my battle bots: crab and scorpion. During the video me and my cousin were talking in italian but don't worry: i've added some subtitles just to translate our wisecracks ;) Some stats about the robots: GRANCHIO (crab) weight: 900g weapons: claws motors: 2 XL(wheels) 2L(claws) strengths: 4x4, can keep the ball weaknesses: (hardly) flippable SCORPIONE(scorpion) weight: 900g weapons: flipping arm motors: 2 M (wheels) 1 L (reloading winch) 1 old 9V (gearbox) strenghts: atomic-like powerful weapon, defensive/offensive weapon weaknesses: hard to control (really), low traction enjoy the video (likes and comments are welcome if you like it ;) ) -

[REVIEW] Lego Mindstorms Ev3 SENTIN3L by Daniele Benedettelli

This is an unofficial review of Daniele Benedettelli's SENTIN3L from his book THE LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 LABORATORY. It serves as a guard/patrol type robot and features 2 Large Motors, 1 Medium Motor, 1 Color Sensor, 1 InfraRed Sensor, and 1 Touch Sensor. These function for synchronized front legs, synchronized laser arms for blasting/shooting, autonomous behavior, color-programming, and more. Also featuring the COLOR CUB3! Since the stickers aren't specific in the book, I added them in the most aesthetic design I could. Please let me know your thoughts on my review style; I gladly accept any advice and suggestions for improvement! -
After the release of the Simpsons house and the first Simpsons-Minifigure-Series last year, I thought that it would be cool to have some Futurama-themed LEGO sets/figures as well. So I designed a Bender-Minifigure. I had to adjust some of the parts to fit the LEGO-pieces (like lifting the foot-pieces, upscale the hands and fingers, etc.). Most parts are ment to be made out of "normal" plastic (ABS). The legs, arms, fingers and the antenna should be made out of semi-hard rubber (like some of the tooth/horn pieces).

Help with the NXT 2.0 speaker

Several time ago I had problems with the NXT's speaker. It looks like if the speaker has corrosionrust or something like that.Is there any cheap repairs? I will post photos later. It doesn't produces the standard sounds like turning on or click and the sound files from all the programs are also in silence. (the programs work well) -
Although I can't participate in the "Space Pirates" contest by using LEGO's Digital Designer (and changing colours etc.), I still felt inspired by the contest's theme. So I played around with some Ideas and created the first two members of my crew. You can find more pictures in my LEGO-Folder on my homepage!

So another plan i had for several months and yesterday i found some time to make it. A steampunk walker, based on the robot from set 70505 van Ninjago. First attempt to build something like this and I am pleased. Hope you all enjoy!! New pictures of this walker and a new monocylce. Cheers Pagan

An Exo-Suit made for the Galaxy Patrol minifig using only parts from the Glowkies (Series 4 - Mixels): Globert (41533), Vampos (41534) and Boogly (41535). I think it turned out pretty great! I even managed to built a slightly enclosed cockpit. The cockpit also features a neural link for the pilot to control the exo-suit! :D I also used the glow-in-the-dark eyeball head to give my Galaxy Patrol mini a glowing visor. :) More pics:

Hello everyone! So every now and then I look at this page and get inspired by many illustrations presented here or just try to remember them, and it inspires me to think about how would I reboot the "classic" Space themes, such as Blacktron, Ice Planet, Space Police, Spyrius... These thoughts has led me to some results that are posted here. And today I want to show you some of my ideas of how would droid/robotic helpers would look like in a rebooted space? Ice Planet Reloaded - Figures by The Mugbearer, on Flickr The Ice Planet robot was the first that I made. The role I had in mind is a fast-moving scout/courier. Space Police Patrol and Apprehension Unit by The Mugbearer, on Flickr For Space Police robot I had a more specific role in mind. This droid is for patrol and apprehension, which means it must have a sturdy frame and be mobile enough to scale the distance between itself and perpetrator. It hovers above the ground and uses it's shoulder boosters for steering. Blacktron Intruder Bot by The Mugbearer, on Flickr The latest robot I made is the biggest among them all, and there's no surprise since it's an intruder battle droid that disguises itself as a recon probe. It's armed with plasma circular sawblade and a laser gun, and it's sole purpose is to sabotage the work of M-Tron's facilities. That's all for now, enjoy!

I tried to build an alternate MOC by just using the parts of 31034. The idea is based on the Japanese Animation "Macross". I took few days to finish it because I did not have any idea. It can be transformed into plane, semi-robot mode and robot mode. Hope you all like it. Semi Robot Mode Ready to transform

MOC. Built October the 12th, 2014. Improved and partially rebuilt January the 18th-19th, 2015. THE CHALLENGE WAS TO CREATE A TRANSFORMING ROBOT USING ONLY & EXCLUSIVELY PIECES INCLUDED IN THE 31008 SET and my options were limited. The vehicle mode is a slightly futuristic military jet. The robot mode is quite similar to Generation 1 Transformers Seekers (e.g. Starscream) and to Macross Valkyrie. Legs are well poseable (thanks to the ball joints introduced few years ago) and shoulders can rotate 360 degrees (connected with wings) and tilt (left/right). The hands look like pliers, but in the set only 4 fingers (another cool piece very useful for robot models) were available. The robot mode is headless because this robot is intended as a mecha with an human pilot sitting in the cabin (like Valkyries from Macross/Robotech)... so I decided to keep this way.But with some of the small pieces I didn't use everyone could easily create an head. 70813 Rescue Reinforcements alternate - Transformer firetruck

MOC. Built January the 21th-22nd, 2015. The challenge was to use ONLY & EXCLUSIVELY the Lego movie set 70813 "Rescue Reinforcements" and ONLY the pieces of the fire mech (bags 1,2 and 3). So please keep in mind that my options were limited. My inspirations were the Transformers Inferno from Generation 1, his Classics/Universe version, and the TF3 movie Sentinel Prime. The vehicle mode is a big fire truck with a ladder (360 degrees of rotation and goes up and down). Thanks to the good amount of joints the robot is well poseable. It doesn't have an head because is driven by a pilot sitting in the cabin (enough room inside for a minifigure). The transformation is simple and relatively fast.
