  1. Zepher makes a defense: "Hey guys, you have no evidence on me. We should talk." Someone yells, "Okay, talk!" Zepher replies, "We should talk!" def comes in, "Well, Zeph, it looks like it's time." Zeph panics, "No, we're gonna talk soon! I've only had 72 hours to put up a defence! Who can defend themselves in 72 hours! The game is on the line! It's do or die! We're gonna start a conversation soon. Seriously. Just cuz I never posted a defence every other time I was nearly lynched, this time I'm gonna start talking." The crowd gasps. "It's a bird!" "It's a plane!" "No, it's Supe-" Pelly cuts in. "..." "It is not Superman, it is the Man of Steel, the gritty, 'real' counterpart. He has no care for collateral damage." Zepher makes a defence, "Hey, we should ta-" Mr. Freeze's Coolant is unkillable, but yes, only at night. def jumps in, "It's night, send in your night actions!" but Pelly pauses. "..." "Um, Pelly says that's it. The game is over. The Serial Killer is still around, but they had to kill everyone to live, and everyone is not dead, so..." "It's Brickelodeon!" someone cries. "It's LegoSpy," says another. Pelly calls out his target. "DARKDRAGON?!" Darkdragon gets angry, "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for the scum rolling over and dying!" Congratulations to the winners, Town! And to the survivors, Dickelodeon, PirateDave, jluck and LegoSpy. And one last thing, as Pelly says, "..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The game is over, it went smoothly, thanks to all for playing. I don't know that I want to give feedback. I feel like overall, the town was overly willing to be duped, but then the scum did so bad that the town couldn't lose. MVP goes to Darkdragon. She posted pretty much the same as Zepher, but town decided she was fine for whatever reason. And here's how it went down: Next up is Bob's game, be sure to sign up!
  2. The Story It's the weekend, yet somehow mail has been delivered. fhomess and Mostly Technic are having a Star Wars together. "Yo, holmes, we's is got an invite to a mad shindig! It be called, Pelly's Paradise." fhomess replies, "Pelly? Have I heard that name before? I'm cautiously optimistic." Bob wakes up in his teepee. "Woohoo! Got it going on!" Zepher is sort of pleased, but he isn't going to attend anything without his morning cherries. Brickelodeon opens the letter as she takes in some grog. "Arrrrgh, a parrrrrghty. Me be attending." Dragonator delicately brushes Shadows' soft hair. "Wait, buddy, you know the deal: just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in." And so on for 13 other such vignettes of people getting their invites. Finally, in a high-tech lab, a door opens releasing it's carbon-based contents. "Oh, I need to stretch." Outside a nondescript building, a silent figure watches as people straggle in. "..." Inside an even more nondescript room, everyone gathers. "Looks like someone dipped into the beige bricks," someone observes. Pelly clears his throat. "..." Def speaks up, "Allow me to translate for my associate here. In this game, I will be his spokesperson." "..." "Welcome to Pelly's Paradise. "A beige room is paradise?" someone yells. "..." "He chose the name more for alliteration purposes," def explains. Pelly continues. "..." "As you may have guessed, you will be playing a little mafia here." Some not so surprised gasps flutter through the room. "What if we don't want to play a game to the death?" somebody boldly asks. "..." "Um, he said, uh, there was poison in the invitation letters, so you have to play to the death or the poison will kill you. Or something like that. Anyway, you're going to play." "..." "As well, he would like me to tell you that we will be starting shortly." Nobody gasps at that. "..." "And finally, he requests that you drop your accessories off with me before we begin." Huh? 3. The Story Lind Whisperer is pretty satisfied with his performance. "I was suspected from day one, and got lynched on day four! Nobody investigated me! No night actions on me! I was lynched purely for being scummy! Um, wait..." In walks the face of doom. "..." "...!" Pelly is done. Night time. Bob and Mencot, out on the town. Er, out in the small room. Bob is elated. "I haven't haz any night pictures yet. Now is time for me nice!" Mencot concurs, "Reggil pifuta;d sheiry!#" Of course, they never hear the steps behind them. In fact, they barely hear the sound of their heads being taken off. Bob utters his last words, "I am night killed, me haz happy. Bob is death worthy!" Mencot says stuff too. "Asdfliyflyuvkjhslue! Nbv! Morning comes. Pelly uses his wit, "..." Def steps in, "Ah yes, you lynched well! Congratulations. But you are down two townies, and, if you haven't already clued in, a SK walks among you. 4. The Story Night has come. Dragonfire takes a stroll, enjoying the change in coifs. Unfortunately his strut doesn't protect him from the shrouded figure behind him. Meanwhile, Fhomess takes some pride in how badass he looks in Magneto's helmet. This too offers little protection. In the end, there are merely noggins remaining on the floor. And Mostly Technic! He got died too! His hair was so beautiful, but it couldn't be helped. Come the morning, Pelly looks upon the game he has wrought. "..." def fills in, "four dead, three townies down. One more scum down. Good luck everyone!" Costumes In the first 24 hours of the game, all town players must wear a costume. Scum may or may not wear a costume. 5. The Story Night has come, and all through the building, people are tiptoeing around. JackJonespaw is pretty happy with his lot in life, having been able to vote on two lynches. He never hears the padded steps behind him until the last second. "You chose the wrong boyo to mess with! I have Indy's sword!" he cries. It's a prop sword. Meanwhiles, Shadows is playing with his toy guns. "Pew pew pew!" he says. Behind him, a darker shadow approaches. And Lady K makes Curly noises from the Three Stooges. "Nyuk nyuk nyuk!" The end result? Three heads, arranged on the floor. Morning comes, and the remaining crowd assembles, including one figure added for humour, and not intended to be some sort of clue. Pelly is pleased. "..." "Pelly would like it known, old Tammo was truly a scummo. Unfortunately for you, these three heads on the ground are not. Good luck to you today!" 6. The Story First night, and two dudes are out on the prowl, despite the lights being out. Even with his ninjalicious skills, Dragonator does not hear the padded feet approaching. On either side, TinyPies and Dragonator are approached by shadowy figures (who conveniently don't see the other in the dark). Independently, they both take action. With swift strokes, they separate the two from their heads. All is quiet, as another pair of footsteps pads along. "Goddam it!" It pads away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Morning comes. Pelly looks upon the death his game has wrought and feels some sweaty satisfaction. Def explains to the crowd, "With Stickfig, these will be three Townies that have been killed. Their costumes shall be retired." "You may choose your costumes." Day two has begun. Costumes In the first 24 hours of the game, all town players must wear a costume. 7. The Story A pile of costume materials lies on the floor. What could it be for? Pelly addresses his captive audience. "..." Def steps in. "Yes, if you haven't figured it out, you are all vanilla. Well, except the ones of you who aren't." Pelly sniggers. Def continues, "Here's the deal. Costumes will be available for you to wear at two points in the day, loosely 12 hours apart." He pauses. "Pelly can't be counted on to be absolutely clockwork, but he will do his best. Why, in a previous game, someone accused someone else of postponing the posting of 'costumes' in order to torment someone in another time zone, when in actuality, the host had drank wine on a Friday night and fell asleep before posting. Pelly will do no such thing, within his abilities." Pelly nods. There is a little grumbling among the captive audience. Pelly steps in. "..." "He would like you to know that a) your costumes may come with abilities and b) those abilities will be consistent from day to day. As well, the scum among you will be able to use the abilities at their discretion, while the vanillas will have no choice but to don their costumes at night. And the scum may select their killer, so 'staying at home' at night does not prove them innocent." There is more grumbling among the bald denizens. "..." "This is being told in order to have a more level playing field, so you can get to the business of play rather than debate how everything works. Some of you have experience with this game, so I want the young 'uns to have fair knowledge." Pelly sternly looks across the room. "..." "He says he is delighted by your hairless heads." The game is afoot. ----------------------------------------------------------- Costumes In the first 24 hours of the game, all town players must wear a costume. Scum may or may not wear a costume. Costumes will be offered in two shifts, roughly 12 hours apart from each other. There will be two separate assortments for each shift. Players may not wear the same costume on consecutive nights. Players who choose not to select their own costume will be randomly assigned one from the remaining stock. Costumes taken by lynched or killed players will be removed from the game and not offered again. Players select costumes by: 1. copying the entire updated list. 2. adding their name after their choice, and striking it off the list, ie. Costume A Costume B def Costume C etc Failure to do either of these steps will make their selection void, and other players may feel free to make that costume their selection.<players, feel free to police yourselves on this, since I both have a job and sleep> If this system is too confusing for you, simply do nothing and receive a random selection, with no penalties. <ALWAYS COPY THE WHOLE LIST> Day One, Shift One: 1.
