1. Hello again, oh wait, that's ahoy again, of course! Today, another ship for the ever growing Oleander fleet. Proudly presenting: The 'Infatigable' Infatigable's keel was laid down four months ago in the smaller of the two 'Pontaniou' basins in Quilbignon, right next to La Recouvrance. But as the latter was launched shortly after, work on Infatigable was interrupted due to a shortage of timber after hurricanes Hilda and Stepho had devastated large parts of New Terra, as especially Le Bellan was in dire need of construction material. But work was resumed in April, and now she was finally launched and immediately attached to the New Terra Fleet. Infatigable is the fastest warship ever constructed in the Royal Shipyards in Quilbignon - a schooner, fast, agile, and equipped with sixteen 12-pounder long guns - lead-ship of her class, a majestic sight. She's on her way to Breshaun now, ready to indefatigably pursue her adversaries, and to enforce Oleon's rule wherever needed. about: Like most of my ships, Infatigable started with a look at the ship classification chart, as I needed ideas for a 5A1. But finding examples for large schooners of war turned out quite a quest. In fact I didn't find any reference ship that would be larger than a brig, but smaller than a corvette, so this is more of a fantasy ship. But nonetheless, Infatigable is easily one of my favorite ships so far. I'm really happy with her hull, which took me quite long to shape. As I wanted to build her as low as possible, I 'cut off' plate by plate, changing her base several times, until reaching what I think is a minimum height for me on this build. Again, she's a flush deck ship with no cabin box - just like Gladiateur - but I hope her side galleries being ornate blinds is presented better here. Some numbers: the length on her waterline is 88 studs, length over all is 116 studs, and her beam measures 21 studs. As always, she's buildable, and with proper rigging and some flex tubes support her mast should carry the weight of her huge sails IRL... but then, I won't build her Thanks for watching C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
2. Since ages well forgotten, atop rock formations one can usually find plenty fortifications. One such fortification is the examle below. And where the rock left something to be desired as far as defense is concerned, fine Oleander engineers filled the gap with their awesome sloped wall ™ technique! So, behold the result and let nobody say that Oleanders don't know how to defend themselves! Roleplaying aside, i made this attempt at a sloped fort as i wanted to see how well do sloped walls blend into rock formations. Inspiration came from the great venician fortification at Crete. A big thanks to those that contributed their ideas while on WIP status (Cpt Genaro, Mpyromaxos, Ardohoth etc) More on Flickr. Thanks for watching!

[OL - FB3] The 'Gladiateur'

Ahoy ya scurvy sea dogs, Another day - another ship, this time: The 'Gladiateur' Gladiateur is a veteran brig of war, built for La Royale about a half a decade ago by the Royal Shipyards in Quilbignon. For most of her service life she was stationed in New Oleon, but now the Admiralty has decided to assign her to the New Terra Fleet. In preparation for this, she recently underwent an extended overhaul, during which her hull was structurally improved, and she received an armament of sixteen 12-pounder long guns. Experienced and well armed, Gladiateur is now entering the arena that is the Eastern Brick Seas, ready to strike devastating blows to her adversaries. And in comparison to the IFS: about: Yes, those really are prefabs! Well, in fact only the upper bow/stern elements are, the rest of the hull is made of curved slopes. Gladiateur is based on an older design, but being sort of the only of my prefab ships, that I really liked, I thought she'd deserve her place here in BoBS, and renewed her. Gladiateur is no spectacular ship, but she's a fighting workhorse, right what's needed on the waves these days - I hope you can like her despite her simplicity. C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
4. Fellow Oleanders, our 'Pirate Quest' has started. So sit back and enjoy the story as it unfolds over the coming months! If you want in and contribute, you can always sign up Of course all you other folks of New Terra, we hope you enjoy this also, so grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride! All the story development and faction discussion will happen behind the scenes, and in this thread we will collect links to all MOCs dedicated to this quest, and the great game-master Ska will throw obstacles at our brave expedition team, which they will have to 'overmoc' in order to proceed and close in on the secrets of the Île de Tyche. Stage I In April 616 AE a company of Royal Marines was landed on Oleon's newly claimed Île de Tyche to officially take possession of the island for King and Country, and to launch an expedition into the center of the island to find out, if stories about a great pirate menace really are true. Of course, along with every rumor about an evil menace comes the promise of something shiny: a great gold mine is also rumored to exist somewhere on the island! So what better to do than to go and have a look! That's exactly what Hugo d'Offren and his men are thinking, and so they set out making their way through the dense jungle, scouting ahead of the main forces that set up camp at the beaches. ...
5. Your Royal Highnesses, honorable Ladies and Gentlefolks, common people of the lands. The Royal Court and the High Council of Oleon welcome you in the great city of Granoleon for the Royal Coronation Festivities of our new and rightful Monarch, King Philip I. Be our guests over the course of the next weeks, enjoy your stay in the palaces, and celebrate with us! After this exciting time of dazzling festivities and glittering celebrations here in Granoleon, His Majesty and Queen Beatrice, together with their royal entourage will be touring Oleon’s colonies! Furthermore royal emissaries will be sent out to the royal courts of Halos and many cities of New Terra offering gifts and blessings on behalf of His Majesty to humbly show gratitude for the many expressions of condolences after the passing of our beloved King Stéphan II. In the spirit of peace and conciliation it is the expressed wish of His Majesty to be generous to all that welcome his emissaries, and of course himself, the Queen and his royal entourage in the upcoming weeks. Description: This faction-challenge will require you to show how you receive King Philip I and Queen Beatrice, with or without their entourage, or only their entourage, in any of Oleon’s colonies. This can be on the festively decorated streets of Breshaun, it can show the royal couple attending a mass in a temple, it can be you waving from your house as the royal entourage passes by. Be creative - and friendly! As a royal gift, half of all license costs for properties, that fit the spirit of the contest, and are built and licensed in Oleon’s colonies during the contest is running, will be refunded. This offer isn’t limited to Oleanders, but all members of every faction can profit from it. If instead you choose to build in foreign lands, you can also do this and participate here. Just show how the royal emissaries are received in your city. You won’t be able to profit from half price licenses, but - like all participants - you are still eligible to win these prizes: From all entries five overall winners will be chosen, the 1st place will be rewarded 40DB, 2nd place: 30DB, and 3rd to 5th place: 20DB. Plus, there is a second category for those of you who cherish the arts: Entries here follow the same rules, but will be judged on general building creativity and most unusual part usage. The first three entries will receive 25DB each. Tl;dr: The Royal Court tours Oleon’s colonies, and emissaries of His Majesty are sent out to pay tribute to the Royal Courts of Halos, and whomever you like to depict. Show us how you receive them in joy and amity! Prizes: Category A: 1st place: 40DB, 2nd place: 30DB, 3rd to 5th place: 20DB. Category B: Top three ‘artsy’ entries get 25DB each. If you build in Oleon’s colonies: Half of all costs for licensable properties, that fit the spirit of this contest, are refunded after the contest. [OL - FB2] 'Le Protecteur'

Ahoy, laddies! As the Lord Chancellor said, there will be ships. But let's start small, shall we? Presenting: 'Le Protecteur' Being a light topsail schooner, agile and with a shallow draft, Le Protecteur excels at patrol duty in difficult waters, anti pirates sweeps, and reconnaissance missions, freeing La Royale's much needed heavy hitters for more challenging ventures. Crewed by experienced men, and captained by an able sea dog Le Protecteur will surely master the tasks ahead of her. about: Some of you might have recognized the resemblance to La Recouvrance. That's no coincidence. But Le Protecteur was in fact the ship to be launched first, and La Recouvrance was modeled only afterwards. I just never came around to post the ship, and the actual need to do so only arose... well, recently. As always, all can be built. And for quite some time I did have an urge to really build this ship... but then other ships happened Just FYI, her length at the waterline is 57 studs, LOA is 85, and she's 18 studs wide. For now she'll be a class 3A, let's see if that changes with the next ship list. C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
7. The lost heritage.. Shortly after Diego reached New Terra, he received a letter. A letter from his grandfather Damian Mpyromaxos De Valdes.. Granting him the ownership of a building.. So Diego visited a Notary to find out what this building was...

[OL - FB2] The 'Scimitar'

Ahoy mateys, A ship - who would have guessed?! Presenting: The 'Scimitar' The Scimitar is a rather unusual sight in the waters of New Terra. She is what most people these days would call a Xebec – a ship type clearly not common to the shipwrights of the Madrice Peninsula. And she wasn't built in Oleon. In fact, her true origins lie to the far south. She was bought by the Royal Shipyards from merchantmen who traded in Granoleon. Merchantmen from the Mokolei Empire, where expertly crafted Xebecs are used vastly as warships as well as traders. The Royal Shipyards were impressed by the Scimitar's cargo capacity, but astonished by her protective capacities. Arming a fast trade ship that heavily is something not very common outside the Rogian Sea, where pirates are a constant menace to merchant ships. But with the ever increasing trade volume here, more pirates are likely to try finding opportunities to prey on unprotected traders in the Eastern Brick Seas, also. So what better opportunity to learn new concepts and adapt to the new times than to buy a veteran ship, that excelled under such conditions. The Xebec design is now being studied extensively by the Royal Shipyards' master shipwrights, and the Scimitar has been given Oleander colors. Now she is ready to sail under her new flag. And - as always - IFS shaming about: This one was a tough one to build. Building the angled poop deck, and attaching it to the rest of the ship - without gravity and the magic capabilities of the opposable thumb - was, well... difficult. So was designing the latin yardarms (or what they are called) Credits for the 'eye' design go to Dunkleosteus. Some numbers: She's 92 studs long at the waterline, length overall is 135, and she is 23 studs wide. She's also my first ship to feature completely snoted decks. For now her intended class is a 5F, but I armed her a bit heavier than the average 5F, so that might change with the new ship list. I hope you like her, C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
9. Citizens of Oleon welcome King Philip I and Queen Beatrice and wish them, long prosperity, health, happiness and good luck in their difficult task..!! Many people showing their love by giving them various gifts .. Like the blacksmith Bernard, who created a unique sword for the king, absolutely priceless, made with love, after several days .. A sword of incredible beauty that only a king could hold .. Vive le Roi!
10. Ahoy once more! This is an entry for Oleon's Coronation Festivities challenge. The Poseidon Garden King Philip I was immensely impressed, and Queen Beatrice even more so. Continuing their tour through the city of Breshaun, they had just arrived at the Poseidon Garden - a terraced garden laid out in honor of the God of the Sea. Now, walking down the winding staircase, they looked around, then at each other, and lastly to mayor Sisnera, who was more than proudly smiling all over his face. This almost feels like being home in Granoleon - the King to his own surprise caught himself thinking - quite a decent garden! This tour has been nothing but joy so far. But now - hush - enough talk, enjoy the walk! about: Well, this one was tough. Constructing it was all challenging and fun, but at 18000+ parts LDD crashed quite a few times - which wasn't that much fun. The entire facility measures 165x128 studs. The ground took a lot of different design attempts to feel okay, and placing these bricks was a mind-numbing business Anyway, I'm quite happy with the final result now. I hope you like it, too C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
11. Hi guys, This is an entry for Oleon's Coronation Festivities challenge. Ceremony at the General Breshaun Monument King Philip I and his wife Queen Beatrice are busy people these days. News of the royal couple's planned trip to Breshaun has caused great excitement among the local populace, and upon their arrival, the entire town is now eager to present itself in the best light possible. Breshaun is experiencing a boom these days, its growth is literally visible, and a lot of prestigious buildings and structures have been finished just in time for the royal visit. Among these is the new monument to honor General Breshaun - the city's first governor - errected in the middle of the main market square. Now, for its inauguration a ceremony is being held - of course attended by King and Queen. And it seems that despite the early morning hours, a lot of citizens are afoot and want to welcome the royal couple, and proudly show them what the people of Breshaun are capable of creating here in their thriving city. about: This started out as a small, simple statue, but I got carried away, and this happened. The cross shaped base and the cobblestone pattern around the monument are meant to be an homage to general Breshaun's insignia, represented on the city flag - which is based on this part here. What else? Well, minifig creation and placement is really not something I enjoy in LDD. Apart from that, building this went astonishingly smooth, and I'm quite happy with the result. I hope you enjoy it, too C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
12. Participants: Maxim I (ESL), TitusV (ESL), Tomsche (COR), Sebeus (OLE), LJ Hornblower (Nat), Peter G. (Pirates) Story 1: Flotilla In Need On a chilly morning, Lord Damaximus and his fiancee Margot, Lady Elysabeth and Lord Smaugton were doing business in Quinsville. After talking recent politics and the death of King Stephan of Oleon, the Eslandolans boarded their ships and set sail. The Purple Rain and Golden Star headed for Elysabethtown to take in provision for their further voyage. The ship passed some of the newly discovered islands (especially the one with the cannibals was interesting)... The so peacefull voyage stopped abruptly when the two shipped crossed the "Beatrix" and "Pegasus", both ships under command of promising Oleon admiral Sebeus. Out of the blue, the Beatrix started firing at the Purple Rain.... Luckily for the "Purple Rain" and "Golden Star", the Eslandolan flagship "Margot" set sail out of Elysabethtown... The moment the crew of "Beatrix" saw the "Margot" getting near, they stopped their fire and tried to flee ... Together with the "Margot", the Eslandolan flotilla managed to arrive safely in Elysabethtown... Story 2: The Arise of Pirate Captain Sebeus Back in his young days, Sebeus dreamed of being the greatest Oleon admiral ever. As a young kid, he always played with wooden ships and knew the tricks of sailing better than most so called captains... His talents didn't remain unknown, and he was spotted by the high admirallity of Oleon. King Stephan himself took care of the boy and tought him everything he knew. Due the many hours spent together, Sebeus saw King Stephan as his Godfather. So the moment King Stephan died due to a mysterious reason, Sebeus felt betrayed by his Oleon brothers and went rogue. He took the "Beatrix", the ship he was promised to command one day and together with the "Pegasus", they set sail to the unknown. The first vessels they came across were flying the "Eslandolan flag". 'Perfect' Sebeus thought as he had heard the rumours of the Eslandolan King claiming the Oleon throne. After the first salvo, someone was suddenly yelling "Margot". Sebeus got a chill. Even with the "Beatrix", he had was match against the pride of Terra Versa, so he ordered to stop firing and set sail again. He also knew he would not be welcome in Oleon's society anymore. And thus he started the legend of Captain Sebeus, the new terror of the Brickseas... [OOC] as many have noticed, real life Sebeus is not that active anymore due to real life. Still, he was very surprised to hear the King of Oleon had died as it was named after him and he set up Oleon. As he will still be too busy the upcomming months, he proposed to become a NPC pirate captain (like Bloody Bill for example). He hopes to get amnesty when he has building time again... So at Ska, you got a new Pirate Captain to add in the next MRCA!!! Story 3: The revenge on an Oleon Trader Not long after the previous events, a group of Eslandolans managed to sneak by a small Oleon Trade ship and captured it. The moment they went aboard, the Oleon cowards surrendered. [OOC] we asked first permission if we may capture the ship. Yes Tomsche, we Eslandolans first ask if we MAY capture a ship instead of just capturing it.... The BoBS lay-out at Brickmania Wetteren 2016 I hope you enjoyed the pictures!! It was a very nice weekend! Next Brickmania Bobs Lay-out: Limburg (Belgium) 27 & 28 august. More BoBS lay-outs can be found here
13. Eslandola galleon in sight! Breshaun life stopped for a second, some heads turning to the port. Indeed a proud galleon entered the harbour. White painted, green flags on top. The ship didn't steal its name, it was surely a prince. 3 rowboats left the "Prince of Stedor" and headed for the quays. Meanwhile, some Oleon officers and royals arrived at the MAESTRO commerce house, as it was here where the rowboats would go to. Lord Damaximus was looking around him. Breshaun is such a nice port, so vibrant ... . But also so full of soldiers. Everywhere he looks, he sees marching guards. Luckily MAESTRO is always welcome in Breshaun since they opened a cider shop on the quays. The best cider in the world, made in Elysabethtown from the apples of Felipe de la Manzana. Giving a gift to an official for the new king Philip of Oleon. Long may he reign! ------------------------- C&C welcome!! I am going to licence this as medium commerce house. Am I right that Oleon pays me back half of the licence cost as it is located in Breshaun?
14. The "Empty Barrel" is Wilhelm's first ship that he built to begin running Rum for the Oleon nation. Phred took time out of his adventures to inspect the new ship and decide if it was sea worthy and would stay afloat running trade for the King. /Special thanks to Phred for actually coming over and literally inspecting the ship, helping improve the design and giving me pointers on how to assemble it. So yes, that is his fig really inspecting the ship!
15. Aaaand it's me again, As threatened promised, here's the MOC I was referring to when I posted this scene. A River Runs Through It Captain's Log, April 29th, 616AE: In the early afternoon we finished setting up camp at the beach, and immediately afterwards I had two armed scouting parties sent out to make a perimeter check. Also, the royal geologist from Granoleon - who was assigned to my company by direct order of the Intendant Général des Finances - insisted to have his mission started right away. So I had him escorted by a 2nd platoon, and they went off into the jungle to take mineral samples from various locations. Let's see what they find. Not that I could be bothered. I'd much rather see a fresh water source located soon... and if somebody could catch some fish, that'd make my day! about: Again, not really much to tell, pretty basic stuff. It's a dull prospecting scene, but to add some fun, I tried myself on a little creek with some tiny (not so rapid) rapids and some fishy action. Still not too familiar with rockwork, but I hope it doesn't look too boring. C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
16. Ahoy again, Just leaving this little scene here, as it's needed for my next MOC. Plus, it will serve as a starting point for next month's expedition into the interior of 'The Trap'. Claiming New Lands Captain's Log, stardate April 29th, 616AE: I've sent two of my men up the beach to gather some perimeter info. Meanwhile, the rest of the company has just finished transferring our equipment from the HRS Granoleon to the beaches. She's about to set sail again, back to Breshaun, and leave us here. We'll hopefully see her again in a month from now. Until then, we'll be on our own out here. But our orders are clear: We are to officially take possession of this island, which is commonly referred to as 'The Trap', and set up a base camp in shore sight. Once this is completed and secured, I will take my company of Royal Marines inland to find out what is and what isn't true about the rumors that some pirate has made this island his home. We are prepared to meet resistance, and I'm confident my men will prevail! For Oleon! about: Not much to say about this. The ship isn't new, and the ocean is a once more enlarged version of the one I've used before, and it only had LDD crash three times The rest isn't much larger than the picture is wide. Again, this is only meant as a start for something to be hopefully continued next month. I hope, you can enjoy it a bit, anyway Vive le Roi!
17. Ahoy once more, mateys! I'd like to present my entry for Challenge II B: Strike your Colors! Warning: Contains not only much text, but later also violent scenes, blood, and general misery... better go grab some popcorn first, to enjoy this properly Here goes. When Ivo Fortesque set foot on the island, nothing was the way he expected things to be. None of his men were here! Instead, all he and his crew found were burnt remains of a wooden structure. There was no sign of any living soul. Fortesque was terrified. What had happened while he was gone? As they continued searching for clues, a member of his crew found some pages of what seems to have been a diary, buried in the sand. As they deciphered the increasingly shaky hand writing, they froze in agony... The Diary of Derelin Magini First entry: After leaving ten volunteers behind on the island our captain named 'Berelli', we sailed north-east, only to be caught in a storm, causing much damage to the Santa Clara. Fortunately, we found another island close by. After some repairs to the ship, the captain set sails back to Terreli with only a sparse crew, to report to the King about this new paradise-like island here. He promised to return with more supplies in a matter of two months. We – that is another twelve volunteers, including myself – have so far set up a small outpost here at the beach. It's been a tough job these past days, chopping down trees, building a cabin, setting up a defensive perimeter... I'm tired as hell, but we're all pretty positive about being here, and eager to start exploring this island. I wonder what riches await us! Second entry: Yesterday we took a first trip into the jungle, looking for fresh water, since our supply will only last another three days. We didn't find any river or creek so far. As nice as the isle looks from the beaches, all that vegetation in the interior gives me the creeps. I find it hard to orientate, and the heat is awful. But what I find most irritating, is that the natives we saw on our arrival here seem to have disappeared. Of course it was Velasques who had to tell a story about them being evil demons, going to kill us all. I'd much rather believe we're just not that interesting to them. Third entry: Still no fresh water. And we cannot penetrate further into the interior, the jungle is too bloody dense. Tensions are rising here, Velasques is turning into a source of trouble, scaring everybody. I don't want to believe what he's ranting, but I could swear during the night I heard the sound of drums coming from the jungle. This is turning into a nightmare. Fourth entry: Velasques has gone mad! He ran off into the jungle tonight, and returned covered in blood with the head of a native this morning! What has he done, he's doomed us all!! Fifth entry: Drums! All night long the sound of drums echoing from the jungle! No sleep, no water, no relief. We're all praying to the Gods... Sixth entry: They're coming! There's no way out... The following is a depiction of what could have happened to the brave volunteers. And a 360° view: For higher resolutions follow links to flickr! about: This scene was to some extend inspired by the fate of 'La Navidad', the first Spanish settlement in the New World, established by Christopher Columbus. Lego wise, well, all parts exist, all is buildable, just to display minifig action I turned gravity 'off'. Minifig placement in LDD is no fun at all, and the roof of that hut must have been the single most annoying thing I've ever build digitally. However, I kind of liked portraying all the bloody stuff The renders are made with Bluerender, which has the advantage of being much faster than Pov-ray, and also more realistic in lighting. Only thing is the water here doesn't really 'shine' in light transparent blue. Oh, and the 360° view consists of 100 renders, taking two full days to finish. I hope you like it, C&C as always very welcome!
18. The Pons family (Mr and mrs Pond with their daughter) are one of the families flocking to our newly discovered islands, hoping for a new life and a chance to get rich! Here is their grocery store (although it also sells fish and on occasion, meat from their home-bred pigs and chickens Always happy for some good old CC! Enjoy!
19. L'Aile du Pontis (The Pontis Wing) of the Royal Palace in Granoleon is where King Philip I and Queen Beatrice of Oleon have their residence. I built this for the Oleon introduction and for the Coronation festivities mini-challenge. If you think I've not been very active on the forum or (like me) think my challenge II build were a bit rushed, here is the explanation Finally I get to show this build to you (at least those of you who are not friends with me on Flickr and have already seen WIP pictures there. Thanks to all of you for the valuable feedback during the design phase!) This is my first attempt at baroque architecture, inspired by the the Royal Palace of Stockholm and other similar palaces. Thanks to all of you who provided feedback during the build and I will also give due credit to my fellow LUG member Wineyard for the design elements I've stolen borrowed from his LDD creations. Pontis Wing, Royal Palace of Oleon Crowd greeting the King and Queen outside the palace King Philip I and Queen Beatrice at the balcony of the Pontis Wing of the Royal Palace in Granoleon.
20. "Whoa, steady girl," said Captain Anthony Genaro as he navigated his horse around workmen doing their part to ensure an uninterrupted flow of ore reached the surface and ultimately the smelters in Breshaun. Taking the utmost care not to disrupt anything, Genaro lead his horse towards Harold Kimber, whose black suit made him easily identifiable among a sea of workmen. As Genaro approached, Mr. Kimber turned around and cried out a traditional Oleander greeting. "Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades be with you Captain. I trust you had no difficulty in finding this place." "And may the gods stand by you, Mr. Kimber" replied Genaro. "And I'm not sure how anyone could possibly get lost. I must have passed five different carts hauling ore into town, not to mention the ruts in the road must be five inches deep from all the traffic." Genaro paused for a moment to dismount and managed to get his sword stuck in the stirrups in the process. After a few oaths and some assistance from Mr. Kimber, Genaro continued. "I've never been so pleased in my life, well, never so pleased by land, that is." "You're too kind," replied Mr. Kimber with a small bow. "And I'm sure you'll continue to be pleased once I show you last month's records. Come, they're in the stone structure behind you." Mr. Kimber continued to talk about the operations as they walked, mentioning "pumps constantly jammed with rock" and "veins that go on for miles," and though Genaro smiled and nodded at appropriate times, he was barely paying attention. But who could blame him? After all, his risky investment had paid off, he was just beginning to learn of the extent of his new wealth, and in a few months time, he would have enough doubloons to invest in new ventures. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As always, comments and criticism are welcome . More photos are available on my Flickr. Overview Captain Genaro and the honorable Mr. Kimber Workmen extracting ore from a valuable vein. Workmen fill barrels with ore and rock to be transported to the surface.
21. This is my entry for Challenge II - Defending Yer Claims, category B. This event took place during the initial wave of exploration in New Terra, before Oleon established a permanent presence on the island. Most revered chieftain, there have been trespassers on our sacred island! They came from one of those huge canoes with sails big like the clouds in the sky. We met a band of their warriors in the tall forest and they were clothed in blood! They were also carrying magical blowpipes which were bellowing lightning and smoke at us. Our brave warriors were at first stricken with fear of the magic, but when we saw that they could die like any man and that their blowpipes were not as fast as ours we rallied under the ancestral cries of war and defeated the invaders. Their companions paddled back in their small canoe to their big canoe with sails like clouds. The abomination left through the mists for other waters. May the Ancestors help us to keep our waters and this sacred island safe from more of these filthy invaders! Probably Oleon’s endeavour of pacifying Île de Zeus will not be without bloodshed either... The whole scene Closing in on the enemy Brave warriors Reload! Reload! I see them! They can't hide in those blood-stained clothes! My poisonous arrow hit it's mark. Another is ready! I tried to play a bit with more direct off-camera flash to simulate sunlight, do you like it?

24. Ahoy again, second FB incoming: The 'Commerce de Breshaun' The 'Commerce de Breshaun' is the first capital ship built in Breshaun's 'Royal Shipyards'. She was ordered and paid for by the Breshaun Chamber of Commerce, and donated to the 'Office Royal de la Marine' as a sign of gratitude for continued Royal support and investment. Constructed with a sleek hull, and rigged as a barque, she is a fast and agile sailer, able to keep up with the top speed ships of the Oleander merchant fleet. May her voyages be blessed by Poseidon so she will bring fortune to the Empire! Next, with a reduced number of sails, for you to see some deck details: And last, but not least - and almost already a tradition - IFS shaming: about: As always, all parts exist. This time a bit more emphasis on sails and rigging, although the hull also comes with some unique features. Her hull is exactly 100 studs long at the water line, making her slightly larger than 'La Recouvrance', and her beam is 23 studs wide. Credits for the 'Fleur de Lys' design go to Gideon! As you said, works out well on a ship I hope you enjoy her looks, C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!
25. Sending Oleon soldiers back to the mother country ! When first Oleanders landed on Berelli, the Ténotclaxcans welcomed them friendly. But when the leader of the clerics tryed to change the faith of the natives, the high priestess Zumo de Kapayas declared Oleon men dangerous for the Ténotclaxcans. So the king had to lead a war against those invaders. During the fights the main act lead by the king himself was the boarding of the oleon cutter "La vaillante" ! In this action the natives showed the oleon soldiers how determined they were, and the clerics ordered a strategic retreat after that act of war. It is during the departure of the Oleon fleet of Berelli that the former king of the Ténotclaxcans was killed by an aft cannon shot fired in order to protect the retreat of Oleon ships.
