  1. So can any one give me some ideas of what I should do to modify my set. I would like to keep some what the way it is as it is modeled after the version seen in season 2 of star Wars the Clone Wars Holocron Heist. It would also be nice if they could be done medium to minimal requirement of pieces as I would be using the spare pieces I have already not going to go and buy new pieces just to mod it. Thanks to all who can help me!

    Coca Cola Logo

Hello Eurobrickers! Few days ago I showed a virtual Coca-Cola logo, so now I would like to show you a real Coca-Cola logo BS gallery and short
  3. Hello Eurobrickers! Today I would like to show you my modification of 42042 set. When I saw this set, I thought: “must have”, so I bought it. Unfortunately I don`t like this version, so I built my own creation. I wanted to motorize a cabin by PF, but I have not enough space to put one more a motor and 4th IR receiver. Weight of crawler crane it is almost 2.2 kg Power Functions: 2 x PF L motor 4 x PF M motor 2 x PF battery box 3 x PF IR receiver 3 x PF IR remote control 1 x PF extension wire 20 cm BS gallery (after public)
  4. This tutorial shows how to increase the firmness of your LEGO tires! If your Mindstorms or Technic creation is pushing the tires down like a flat tire due to heavy weight, or if you want less rolling resistance from squishy tires, you've come to the right place! I hope this tutorial is a big help! NOTE: You will have to search around for the right size, depending on the tire. One size does not fit all. Typically, foam inserts from 1/16 scale RC vehicles should fit on tires from 42000 Grand Prix Racer, 8110 Unimog U400, or 9398 4x4 Crawler.
  5. Pirate vessel off the port bow! Ready the cannons and prepare for battle! Three Masts 21B Here is the pirate vessel, the Terror. She now has Technic sails, as the original cloth ones were VERY expensive. The ship is 100% build-able, and perosnally I think it looks better with Technic sails than the cloth ones. I had the Black Pearl by M***B**** back way in 2007. I got it when there were no LEGO pirates offerings, (at least cheap ones!) I eventually destroyed it & threw it out (I think) Anyway, I had a massive pirates-meets-trains layout with a VERY long dock, and am wanting to get it started again, but with all LEGO parts. As of 8/31/15: this model has been shortened to a better length of 1 less bottom section and just 8 cannons instead of the original 10. This ship features: -Removable deck pieces -8 firing cannons -Revamped Angel statue -Raised captains quarters Also, the name TERROR is supposed to be spelled out the stern, just below the lanterns using printed 1x1 tiles. This flag goes above the rear sail: http://alpha.brickli...25pb008#T=C&C=1 Here is the LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1441049410m.lxf EDIT: and here is the Terror's adversary, the HMS Archangel: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=114065
  6. Bluecoat Ship ahoy! In response to the increased threat from pirates and redcoats alike, the ship builders of the home country of Bluecoat forces ordered a ship to match, or beat, the pirates feared Brick Bounty. This ship turned out to be the HMS Arcangel, which features six guns, three masts, a lifeboat, and opening captain's quarters with hideaway for valuable maps, charts and medical supplies. Fully Rigged, Two Square Sails on the Main 12B Okay, so the ship took a while to do: I wanted to take set 70413 Brick Bounty and make a non-pirate ship from it, and it took a month to do so. Also, the sails are Technic panels, so if you don't like that, you are out of luck. here is the Captain's quarters, with hideaway for secret maps, medical supplies, or just "sparking water' (read: alcohol) you don't want to share with anyone. This piece should go on the stern flag pole: http://alpha.brickli...25pb007#T=C&C=1 LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1440615456m.lxf My updated version of the Black Pearl shall be coming soon to it's own topic! EDIT: And here it is! http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=114068
  7. I'm not into LoC, but as a collector of fantasy monsters I couldn't resist getting Flinx's Ultimate Phoenix (70221). The phoenix in that set is a work of art! That said, it does have a few characteristics I'm not crazy about, so I modded them out. The changes I made are: SNOT'ed the neck SNOT'ed the body where Flinx normally goes SNOT'ed the tail SNOT'ed the wings removed the push-fire play feature, and replaced the blue pins in the talons with black ones. You can see the mods in the picture below apart from the replaced pins. Sorry about the rubbish photography. Any burning questions or comments?
  8. Hello, This is my first post so I hope I do everything correctly along the way. I will surely be learning, anyways. Today, I made a small mod that combines two lackluster sets(see title) into one fairly decent set. My original intent was to make more of a drop-ship mechanism but I've always liked keeping official LEGO sets as "pure" as possible. So, hopefully these pictures below are correctly formatted and are sufficiently understandable enough for all of you. I don't think this set is the worst(I'm going to forget about the Green Goblin,) it's got fun play features, looks so crazy it just seems decent. I can just picture SHIELD saying "Alright, we got this experimental Helicopter finished what should we do with it?" and having somebody say "Paint this baby red and blue, kick out the floors, jam some webbing into the sides, paint some logos on it and call it a day." Here is my modification. I removed the black pegs that were originally in the Helicopter and I changed the pegs in the Trike's wheels into a 1x3 peg so that they can attach. It actually doesn't look that bad. It fills in the awkward shapes of everything and makes it cohesive. Like it was intended this way all along. I used the blue pegs because it was all I could find and once the inspiration hit I didn't want to lose it due to my poor part sorting. The blues do have more of a grip so if I pick up the Helicopter it doesn't wiggle around however the wheels do not move freely. When I built the Helicopter I didn't even realize that you put the black pegs into the black underbeam(?). I just thought them moving around was some weird design function. It wasn't until I looked at it one day and thought "wait maybe these pegs go into these holes," also are pegs even the right word? Please tell me anything I could do better for next time whether it be better pictures, better descriptions, etc. Thanks. Edit 1: Well the link I used didn't work so I looked into it and posted each once individually. Hopefully this works now. Edit 2: Okay, now my photos are enourmous and I cannot remove these black bars where my text was supposed to go.

    MOD: 7036 Dwarves Mine

Hi, I am about to modify my modification of the 7036 Dwarves Mine (I think I can do better now) which I have actually done some time back before all of the LOTR stuff started. Therefore I wanted to capture it before its gone. I was really fascinated when the dwarves mine came out. It was actually the first set which I bought several times. ... and now it needs some re-work

    MOMOD Queen Anne Revisited

Ho Ho Ho! (What else can I say on Christmas Eve?) Before the year closes, I'd like to show you a MOMOD (which is meant to say My Own MODification) of Lego's Queen Anne's Revenge. This was a nice ship, however, when it came to playing pirates noone in the family showed interest to play with that skull-ladden thing. So, to bring it back to life, there had to be some adaptions: So I added an upper deck (some small cannons were added too). We removed the skulls Changed some more And suddenly you have a beautiful ship! Have a wonderful Christmas time! Captain Braunsfeld
  12. Although I really like the Dragon Mountain set, I wasn't crazy about the open access from the front to the chamber on the left side, so I modded it. I built up the front but didn't want to block access completely, so I turned it into a secret entrance/exit. Apologies for the poor picture quality. My camera is a bit rubbish.
