Even after the Earth is dead and gone, music will live on. Here are my undead minifigures for the Brains contest, also known as the Undead Masters of Music. From left to right: DJ Eddie M. and his pet bat, heavy metal guitarist Rick Ormortiz, singer/songwriter Sarah Phim, composer Johann Sebastian Bach-from-the-Dead, country singer Tom Stone (the radioactive zombie). More information on each character: DJ Eddie M. - Once a beat-blasting music producer, Eduardo Muerto (more commonly known by his alias Eddie M.) has returned from the dead to re-live his days of playing electronic music festivals. Armed with his two vinyl records of choice, he is ready to once again take the world by storm with his scratching abilities. He has also drawn the attention of a strange little bat that resides on his shoulder, most likely drawn to the screeching sound produced by his sick record scratching. Rick Ormortiz - Having spent his career writing and rocking out to songs about death, Ormortiz was not especially happy when he kicked the bucket himself. Ormortiz suffered a fatal blow to his left eye in a freak guitar pick accident, causing his bandmates to hang up their instruments indefinitely...or so they thought. Deciding to join the land of living once more, Ormortiz returned from the grave to breath new life into his old band and spread his new insights on the afterlife through the only means he knows how: heavy metal music. Sarah Phim - The once dazzling star Sarah Phim has been appearing on stages all around the world recently despite her death five years ago. Initially, many believed her return was just a myth, similar to the claims of Elvis still being alive, but these rumors were confirmed to be true when fans were treated to unexpected show at a graveyard one gloomy night. Though she wasn't quite the looker she once was, the zombie that had appeared was no doubt Sarah Phim herself, wearing her signature, though tattered, white dress and still boasting her heavenly voice. Johann Sebastian Bach-from-the-Dead: Not to be confused with another, more famous composer, Bach-from-the-Dead considers himself to be the world's greatest musician... albeit, no one has even heard of him. Believing he was robbed of fame in his time and determined to solidify his name in history, Bach-from-the-Dead arose from the earth to prove to the world that his music has no equal. However, he has since discovered this might be more difficult than he originally thought as he now has an insatiable taste for flesh, which is why he is usually seen with his conducting baton in one hand and some kind of limb in the other. Tom Stone - Though not your typical zombie, Tom Stone walks the earth as a man both living and dead. Previously a successful country singer, Tom Stone found himself turned into an undead, radioactive man after confusing a flask full of nuclear waste for his bottle of whiskey. The nuclear waste Stone consumed slowly ate away at his life until he finally succumbed to death's sweet embrace, that is until one night when he awoke once more in the middle of a cornfield. Reanimated with pale green skin and covered in barbed wire, Stone now scours the countryside for nuclear energy or perhaps a brain or two. Thanks for looking! Additional, higher-quality pictures can be viewed here on Flickr.

THE GREATEST COLLECTABLE MINIFIGURE ROUND 11 (VOTING CLOSED)
Itaria No Shintaku posted a topic in Special LEGO Themes
Round 10 is over and it was a victory for the YETI though the clockwork robot was very close. Now on to round 11. This is gonna be tough! Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 11, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 12 and so on.- 21 replies

Hi I'll be doing random minifigures review at this particular posts under the comments, 5 at a time. Do comment if you want any particular minifigures to be reviewed. I will pick 5 and include them if I have them in my collection. Thanks and enjoy! This chapter includes 1.Banshee 2. Gargoyle 3. Plant Monster 4. Tiger Woman 5. Shark Suit Guy Their back view Firstly The Banshee from Series 14 The parts breakdown, before opening the packet, I thought the interesting part was her 'legs' which looks ghostly, but it surprised me that her hair was a semi transparent piece. I like her hair! Dont run, dont be scared, I just want to drink with you! Then the Gargoyle from Series 14 I like the idea that it was all grey, suitable for MOCers to make it a statue in a castle or something, personally i like the wings, does batman have this kind of wings? I wonder it suits him. haha Statue Third one today is the Plant Monster, also Series 14 The 'whip' that he is holding was no surprise but the headpiece was a wonderful MOC parts (I havent thought of its use yet) Maybe poison Ivy.. I thought I was wierd until i met him.. The tree speaks! Then the Tiger Woman from Series 14. Parts wise she has a nice tail, nice head piece. Other than that I think she is just one of the collection of the animal suit. Tiger in the jungle! Oh its a Tigress! Lastly the Shark Suit Guy from Series 15. New mold for the hand, the shark fin, and the shark headpiece was super awesome! Run mermaid Run! Thanks for viewing and let me know the next five in the comments. Provided I have them. See you!

Hey Guys I 'm happy to say I finished my WW2 MOC! All the details are exlplained in my video on YouTube! I invite you to Like the video and Subscribe ! Video Link : Enjoy:)

Ok looks like I managed to get the video in the actual post this time! This contains my first 3 attempts at the most-traditional form of stop-motion LEGO animation. 1) A close-up shot of Lord Business on the street 2) A wide-shot composition of minifigures out on the town 3) THE WORLD'S FINEST meeting up on the rooftops From start to finish, you can really progressively see my techniques coming into form! Each of the 3 scenes took 1 hour to shoot, 1 hour to edit. (Add an additional hour or two for THE WORLD'S FINEST, I had a lot of trial & error to get that one in the can.) ENJOY MY PUBLIC PLAYTIME!

Using Collectable Minifigure Parts for DC and Marvel Superheroes
AmperZand posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Do you ever use parts from the Collectable Minifigures (CMFs) to mod your DC and Marvel superheroes? I used the CMF Series 3 elf's head and Series 16 dog show winner's hair for Aquaman. Spider-Man benefited from the Series 16 wildlife photographer's arms. Are there any dual-moulded blue legs with red boots that match Spidey's colours?- 11 replies

I wanted to start this discussion here, because it comes up often in the various yearly Rumors & Discussion threads. It's obviously a topic that many find important. I find that the quality of Star Wars minifigures is lacking when compared to other themes in regards to limb printing and dual molding. Also, they revert often from the more advanced minifigures one year to the less advanced the next. What are your opinions?
