  2. Hi everyone, I would like to share my MOC created few years back. It is a movie scene from the Japanese animation Spirited Away where the main character Chihiro first met the bathhouse boiler-man Kamaji. Hope you guys like it. :-) Close-up of Kamaji. He is busy with his work at the bathhouse. Thanks for reading. :-)
  3. This '8x8 Vingnette' concept started with 'The Dark Knight - Interrogation Scene' vignette which was based on the #40120 Valentine's Day Dinner and #40121 Painting Easter Eggs. This one represents the 'AMC Movie Talk' studio in Burbank, California. The hardest part was to make it accurate as possible due to is contemporary design and curves, such as the table and back wall. This would include three minifigures: John Campea, Jon Schnepp and Dennis Tzeng. I have avoided the graphics on the faces since it's a nightmare to find them on LEGO Digital Designer. It would also include three AMC logo patches and one laptop. This one needs a few stickers and gaphics to make it more accurate such as the screens and the graphics on the walls. I wanted to post this week since yesterday was John Campea's last show. I will definitely will re-upload this when I own the parts and design the stickers and graphics. Render Time: 8 Hours AMC Movie Talk: https://YouTube.com/AMCTheatres I really hope you enjoyed this MOC; feedback and criticism is much appreciated. Adeel

    Stage for concert

Now the stage I used for my son's band ElektroGospel stop motion is a new Lego Ideas project. If you like it, your support is always welcome. Thank you. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/103982 Hi! Here is a picture of the stage i built for the concert of a lego music band. It's taken from my first lego stop-motion project that puts together my passion for Lego bricks and my son's love for music. I added many colorful lights to make it look more realistic and also created a console for the dj. In the back of the stage I also left space to insert the real cd, making it look like a giant screen. 5. So, what films can we recreate in Lego using existing licenced mini figure actors and actresses to play the leads? For example: V for Vendetta with Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving, Stephen Fry Lost in translation with Scarlett Johansson and the forthcoming Bill Murray Sweeney Todd with Helena Bonham-Carter and Johnny Depp Transformers 1 with Shia LeBeouf and the forthcoming Megan Fox What else can you think of?

    [moc] Movie Set

Over the past week I have been working on a small movie set. It includes working bay doors, a fallen worker, a green screen and other people milling around. I apologize for the darkness of them but in a way it is fitting for the building. An overview from one side https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/image3cc35.jpg Another overview going the other way. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/image83ec7.jpg A view through the bay doors. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/imaged0e79.jpg The fallen figure. That is why you shouldn't work in the dark. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/imagece91e.jpg

    Lego Digital Designer Weapons

Something new is on the horizon of the Lego Universe - something for people who are bored with the average Lego sets, which are never bigger than a microwave. The 1st business on the internet with Lego Weapon Manuals is for people who are interested in military and building life-sized, BIG creations with their hands. I would have been so happy if these instructions were available when I was a child, but I guess when something that you want doesn't exist in reality you have to create it. Check it out: http://www.ebay.com/sch/legoweaponmanuals/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

    Treacherous Tides Video Series

Recently I and some friends decided to create a Lego Pirates Video Comic Series. The production's title is: "Treacherous Tides" and is in the works, aiming for release of chapter one in early May 2015. It's "just for fun" but we plan on a very immerse story line. It's not stop motion, rather, still frame images with ken burns and sound effects in addition to some cool music. We won't be doing any voice acting, instead we will be using speech bubbles. Here is a preview: (Don't watch the Batman one, it's old and not very entertaining, as it has no sound or motion.) Send me some kool names, and we might eventually use them in the series!
  11. I just found some of my older moc's, and i thought i would share it with ya'll. The MAN KAT 8x8 is one of my first trial trucks, and still a pretty good one. The Rubber Duck from the movie Convoy is an icon to me, and one day i decided to build it. I came as far as completing the truck and a small part of the trailer, due to the shape of the trailer i couldn't afford it so i didn't finish it. I'm thinking of re-doing the duck to make it stronger and i regret taking it apart. Truck and trailer were inspired by 2Legoornot2lego's trucks The real truck

Please tell me what you think about this stop motion remake of a scene from the movie "The Expendables" [removed link]
  13. I just wanted to do this. It doesn't look that bad, I guess. (I couldn't find a good topic for it. Any moderator, feel free to merge it if it fits anywhere.)
  14. I love How to Train Your Dragon so much I had to make an animation. It gave me a chance to test out my motion control rig.
  15. EDIT!!! I've made some major improvements on the car to capture the typical look of a '69 Charger even better. Hope to find the time to take some pics soon. So stay tuned!!! ...or just some other 69 Charger that looks like the Death Proof musclecar, because the interior is way too nice for Stuntman Mike. ;) ^ Stuntman Mike. Looking cool, waiting for some chicks in a white Challenger...

    MOC: Ferris Bueller's Day Off

I made this build for Swebrick's annual AFOL vs. AFOL contest which this year was about building a scene from an '80s movie of TV-series in which a vehicle was featured. The entries were anonymous during the voting that was done in knock-out stages leading up to a final which I actually won! Here is the climax scene from the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" from 1986 when Cameron's father's Ferrari crashes out of the big panorama windows: And a reference picture to the scene from the movie: Thanks for watching! /Etzel
  20. Greetings Sci-fi and Doctor Who fans! Here's a little project that I was working on over the last 2 years. The Eighth incarnation of Doctor Who (if you don't know the world-wide phenomenon of Doctor Who, stop living under a rock... I'm kidding, maybe this will help...) used this version of the TARDIS (his time machine, stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space) as well as the Seventh incarnation of Doctor Who to have many adventures. This version of his time machine was most prominently featured in The Doctor Who movie (filmed in Vancouver Studios in Canada, may I add), and although it failed to warrant a Fox series funding and airing of the show (phew!), it did manage to capture the imagination of many, as seen in the comic strip continuation of the Eighth Doctor (for example). The Eighth Doctor (played by the brilliant Paul Mcgann ) was one of my favourite Doctor Whos, as I used to read a lot of the comics, and probably always will be, and here I pay tribute to him with this model. Enjoy!! The hexagonal console. Count 'em, yep, 6 sides. A pain to do, but definitely more worth it for the accuracy I could get! Until next time (and space)!

    Thunderbirds Mole MOC

In case you guys don't know, Thunderbirds was a 1960s era TV puppet show that later became a cartoon and then a live-action movie. This is the Mole, a drilling/rescue vehicle. Turning the back of the drill portion spins the drill. The drill itself can be rotated downwards. What do you guys think?
  22. Hi everyone! After some very kind words from users here in regards to my large black (but a bit boring) CMF Display Stand (HERE), I wanted to share with you the display stand I made for the LEGO Movie CMF figures. There was no question for me that the Movie minifigures should get their own stand, since they are not part of the main CMF lineup (remember when these were rumoured to be Series 12?). So with that in mind, I had decide on how to display them. Using the amazing LEGO Movie logo was a no-brainer! The 'THE' is my favourite part of the logo! The logo is a separate unit to the minifigure stands and looks really effective as a MOC when displayed on its own. The yellow and black tiles that you can see at the front and back of the logo are part of a support plate structure that prevents the logo from overbalancing and tipping forward or backwards. The logo was the easy bit compared to the rest of this MOC. I had a lot of trouble thinking of a way to display the Minifigures around the logo and what I kept coming back to was the 'construction' theme of the movie and of the posters in particular. So with that in mind, I went with the idea of scaffolding and made a kind of scaffolding framework that would stand underneath the logo and curl around it. The scaffolding uses 304 of the 'Light Sword / Wand' parts in light bluish gray. Getting each of the eight stands to be identical in size and shape required very careful and precise use of a pair of pliers (suitably padded) to insert each wand to the correct depth. Pushing one wand in too deep or not enough would alter the shape of the individual stand. I learnt this early on when my second stand was a different size to my first. I had to scrap them both and start again, using a larger frame made of plates that fit around the stand, making sure the insertion depth was consistent between stands. As I did on my previous CMF stand, I printed out custom stickers with the character's name and applied them to 1x4 white tiles to act as nameplates. Thanks for looking! You can view the full album on Flickr HERE.

  24. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675 "Your precious armory, gratefully accepted! We will need it." - Bane The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan gave us a fresh and realistic reboot of the Caped Crusader, and with it many of Batman's iconic vehicles. These are my renditions of the Tumblers in camouflage versions, reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can. The base design of these of course are similar to my Tumbler and Bat Pod project. Each Tumbler measures about 19cm(L) x 12cm(W) All three versions have been faithfully recreated: The original Camo Tumbler, the Tumbler with a Turret/Cannon and the Tumbler with a Missile Launcher. In this case, only the original Camo Tumbler can be a 2 seater as the other 2 versions both have a weapon occupying the space where the passenger seat will be. Both the Turret and the Missile Launcher can be retracted to an inactive position. The set can be launched as a single camouflage tumbler with additional parts for the other 2 alternate builds. The set can also include different variations of Bane's outfits as seen in the movie. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675
