    [MOC] Star Wars Space Fighter

Hi, originally I wanted to design my own X-Wing. But as I already have Poe´s X-Wing and the original from 1999 I decided to create something a bit different. I hope you like it: Holds space for another passenger:

    [MOC] Droneuary - "The Holepuncher"

The Hole Puncher Used in the Buggoid Conflicts - Deployed in numbers, it's primary purpose is to be airdropped into hot zones and clear the way for the more specialized two man teams used to clear hive-worlds. Armed with a 50. cal turret auto turret, it's earned the nickname "the holepuncher".
  3. The dream was back. A stone dragon, advancing on me, as I stand, unable to run away, cowering in fear. I've seen it so many times that I know it by heart. I'll wake up as soon as it closes in on me. I am about to look away, bored of having the same experience every day for weeks, when I realize that something is different this time. The dragon's eyes are closed. The eyes have always been open before. Bright red eyes, piercing into me, bringing me fear at first before I began to grow used to the dream. Is that why it's different? Do I only keep seeing this because I need to feel fear, because I cannot allow myself to grow comfortable? Is the dream merely a product of my subconscious trying to scare itself, or is it something else? As I try to figure out what the meaning of this new image could be, its eyes open. And that's when I realize why the dragon had felt so familiar before. The eyes belong to someone I know. * * * The misty air cools my skin as I walk briskly over the bridge at Hagron Swamp. The swamp is a place of mystery; I have never been here before, and my parents had never told me about it. Yet, ironically, it is the home of the person who everyone in Morkerna know about: Gremlon. For months, after our adventures in Nocturnus, he has been more reclusive. In the past, he had clung to me constantly, like a shadow, watching my every move like an overprotective parent. Now, this change is almost frightening. For months, I had wondered why he had drawn away from me; now, I believe, I know why. * * * The flimsy porch creaks loudly as I step onto it. Gremlon is not in the treehouse, yet he has claimed that this is where he goes when he is away from me. Lies. It is these lies that have aroused my suspicions of him, these lies that have brought me to loath him. As I begin to curse the lying wizard, I hear footsteps from behind me. It is Gremlon, strolling across the bridge, looking shocked to see me here. He starts to speak, but I cut him off, grabbing him and slamming him against the wall. "What the hell is going on, Gremlon!?" He stares at me, feigning perplexity, so I continue. "Why have you been leaving me? What aren't you telling me!?" He still maintains the same blank stare. Finally, I snap. "My parents weren't killed by supporters of the Desert King, were they? You killed them!" It is the only reasonable conclusion I could reach after seeing his eyes in the nightmare. It must be true, it must be because I need it to be true, because I need to have someone who I can punish for my parents' deaths, and I want to hate Gremlon, and so I tell myself that he is guilty. He must be. "Come on, Elisa, you know I didn't kill them!" And I do know, and what he says is true, but I cannot allow myself to believe him; I must hang onto my illusion of his guilt in order to satisfy myself; I must attack Gremlon, hurt him. Or I can do what is right. Because even as I want to blame Gremlon for my parents' death, I also want him to be innocent, for our old relationship to be restored. I let go of him and walk away, mumbling an apology. Another pair of builds from last summer that I had intended to post here earlier but neglected to. Hagron Swamp (the base of the tree) was a fun experiment in mood and colors. My favorite part might be the lever plants (or perhaps the colors), and overall I think it turned out pretty well for a one-day build. The treehouse was definitely the more difficult of the two, but I'm also really satisfied with this scene. The hardest part was probably the trunk texturing, but I think that it looks a bit better here than in the swamp. Also, I quite like the architecture of the whitewash section on the left, with the arches on the bottom and the angled beams on top. Thanks for viewing!
  4. After quite a long time of gathering parts, although I had about 80% of them required, building and rebuilding, and finally getting time to photograph the result, I present my interpretation of Mr. Tekneex's C-Model of the 8110, a Jeep - the original topic is here - http://www.eurobrick...&hl= 8110 jeep SInce I didn't have an 8110 to start with, I decided to use parts on hand, which then led down the slippery slope of changing colors, adding doors and a roof, adding a spare tire, different lights, etc... I also spent some time looking at similar vehicles on the road (about 11.6% of a passenger vehicles where I live are Jeeps, and about 20 % of those are some variation of this style). Lights, doors, roof-top light bar, spare tire, outside mirrors, and other added/modified features are all inspired from these observations. Features: - XL motor for drive - Servo for steering - RC for the XL and servo motor - M motor for front winch, raising/lowering hood - hand operated two-speed gear shift, mounted between seats - working doors - working engine - working steering wheel - four wheel drive with center differential and independent suspension Don't ask for a video, the final model was soooo heavy the poor XL motor could barely budge this thing to move much faster than a snail. Rather than rebuild with two motors for propulsion, I promptly disassembled the model for the next MOC. Without further ado, some images:
  5. Hello Eurobrickers! I am here to show off my first complete MOC, the shield generators on Hoth. The final model is a little above 1700 pieces, I have to modify the model slightly for stability purposes, and then I will know for sure. Here is a good look at the Final Model: The base is sturdily constructed and the generators fit on top quite nicely. A look from the side: And a final look from the other side: The model took about a month to design and build. I will make this MOC's files purchasable once I finish (and start) the instruction booklet. Once complete the instructions will come with the excel spreadsheet containing a parts list. The minifigs are not a part of the parts list for anyone wondering! Overall it was a great experience to finally finish my first MOC. Now I just have to figure out how to finish my Invisible Hand Bridge MOC . That one is A LOT more pieces as the bridge is minifig scale and as exact as episode III will allow me to make it. Anyways, enough about that MOC, I hope you enjoy this!
  6. Hey, i would love to share my latest Creation with you guys. Its been a while since my last MOC, but i took the time to build something cool. It is definitely one of my best so far. And for the first time i decided to provide detailed instruction for this MOC. What are the functions of the ZlL E134 Truck: First of all, i used 2x SBricks and 2x 88000 Battery Packs. 2 XL Motos for propulsion 2 L Motors for steering 1 M Motor for gear change (2 speed transmission) 1 LED on the roof (there is a lot of space to use more LED) a working 12 Zylinder Fake Engine behind the cabin. 2965 Parts , about 3,4 Kg. There is still room for improvements. Under the hood is enough space to put in what ever you want. The whole Bodywork can be removed very easy. (modular design) But as always, a short video can show you the Model in action. Instruction: https://rebrickable....nkmad-max-desig Thanks to Madoka for the inspiration with his Tatra 813 Truck. Great work as always.
  7. Hello! This is my first MOC, created a few months ago using LDD. The idea is an adventuring party has set up camp for the night, and while the members make their preparations for the journey ahead, the bard plays by the fire to entertain them. I hope to build this scene "in the brick" one day, and I know there are several things I want to change already. But what I'd love is to hear from some of the expert MOCers here on ideas to improve. Please, feel free to rip it to shreds - you can't hurt my feelings. I'm just looking for ways to improve my skills. Thanks in advance everyone! MOC: Quality Hammers & Tools

MOC: Quality Hammers & Tools I had an idea of creating a advertising sign with a Lego Rosie the Riveter/MC Hammer mashup (please don't ask why) and I had to then create a building to support it. It's a Track-side Freight Station for Quality Hammers & Tools, Inc. It has brick-built sliding doors, a rear loading bay, a wooden covered set of access stairs to the second floor and a new (to me at least) design for a worn out roof. Here's the roof detail (so many plates!) I had seen a commercial product for a scale railway building and it had an effective looking wooden covered access stairs so I decided to see if I could recreate it in Lego. Here's the rear loading bay and a close up of the source inspiration for the entire building. Whole lotta Rosie! [LDD] Kraata-Kal

Kraata-Kal by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Kraata-Kal is a Dark Hunter, hailing from Destral. Makuta Teridax took one of his Kraata and zapped it with something that is called "The Kal Energy" - presumably what allowed the Bahrag Queens to create the Bohrok-Kal. The resulting creature was put in a heavily modified exo-skeleton. Kraata-Kal have become sentient and self-aware, and therefore decided to buck it as soon as possible. Afterward, he joined the Dark Hunters. The model is based on a drawing by Demitsorou: http://demitsorou.de...rsion-520539976

    [LDD] Makuta Takarrah

Makuta Takarrah by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Takarrah is an OC of a Tumblr user makutatakarrah. She is a Makuta that came to be during the war with the League of Six Kingdoms. Takarrah is a kind and caring type, unlike most of her brothers and sisters, and was not supportive of Teridax's plans, following him only because she couldn't oppose him. After Makuta was defeated, Takarrah have migrated on Spherus Magna along with other ex-inhabitants of Matoran Universe. Takarrah specializes in Avian Rahi, however her current projects are aimed towards Visorak and development of Hordika anti-venom.

    Heavily Modified X-Wing

Here is our heavily modified (less than 25 original pieces) set 9493 'Friendly Wing' that we entered into Brickfair Alabama this weekend. This is the latest Firendsified Star Wars ship that we had built and was perfect as the Lego group were holding a contest for the best 'friendlyfied' official lego set, which we won. These vehicles are always well received with visitors and especially my daughter. The wings function perfectly and the minifig fits in and out of the cockpit also. thanks for looking! 14. Hi, I'm wandering around the web looking for sites that like Lego, so I'm a newb here. I have a Lego Ideas project, the Lego Disney Wonder Cruise Ship, at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/128153 so please support it :) I also have some blog posts about the Lego Wonder Cruise Ship here: http://ourrandombits.blogspot.com/ - it's a cool story, so check it out. There's a link to the YouTube about it too. More recently I've started getting some attention for my full size, primarily Lego, moving R2-D2, L3-G0. As far as I know he's currently the only full size working Lego R2-D2. (I've Bing'd and Google'd and haven't found another, though there are some other good builds). L3-G0 the Lego R2-D2 got his own blog at http://L3-G0.blogspot.com- feel free to check that out too, and I don't mind if you share the link or tweet! :) The first blog also has a few other miscellaneous projects, time lapse build of a Lego Seattle Space Needle, a few random photos, and observations about the variance in brick sizes... - Kresty

    [MOC] Imperial Cargo

  17. Hey Star Wars fans. I am sure some of you already got the 2016 Obi Wan Starfighter and realized that the cockpit is pretty crap and there is no place for a lightsaber. I am also sure some people have thought of better solutions than I did but I just wanted to share what I did to fix this. With a little 1x1 stud with clasps I made a lightsaber holder below the ship. Here is a pic :) https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1468/24417812182_f8949f2db8_k.jpg' alt='24417812182_f8949f2db8_k.jpg'>Obi Wan MOC by Vincent ST, auf Flickr[/img] I also am thinking of rebuilding this fighters center piece like annakins green interceptor (9494). Any thoughts? I am always happy to interact with people :) Thank you for reading
  18. Hi All I've been building small star wars mocs lately. I usually restrict myself to mainly figs. I've always disliked lego speeder bikes so have made couple of my own variations. They are quite different builds but both despite being built on the same frame. There seems to be a mini fad on these lately... And here is the minifig scale one.

    Atiqtalik - Urtican Priestess

She strides through the great Urtican temples and out across the wastelands, through settlements near and far spreading the Ulrican dogma. She speads word of the great awakening and sings the songs of the defeat of the Mighty Black beast Orcinius. all the while lamenting the great cost to the phocites and the Ultricans. Now and since the threat of man had loomed large, casting a shadow across the lands and peoples of the North, and yet a greater threat has risen. The Elken are an even more dangerous foe as unlike the puny but numerous humans, they have no fear of winters icy embrace.. -------------- Atiqtalik is an ultrican priestess, she carries a blade forged from the tears of Narwhal sea witches. Her shield is the spell screamer which swallows spells up whole and then spit them back out with even greater venom back at the caster.

    [MOC] AT-ST

I threw this together over the last couple of days. I used parts from two 75083 At-Dp's. I based it off of some of the ones i've seen on here such as this one http://rebrickable.c...star-wars-at-st. I wanted one that was about minifig scale and could fit two pilots inside. I think I did a good job it getting the overall feel of the machine. The hardest part I found was getting the proportions of the legs and the look of them correct. Thanks for looking!! and sorry about the phone pics. yp0fVZw eOmE0je c4GOFE4 P6JOBAC uRJowQK
  21. The Redemption is one of my favorite ship in the original Star Wars trilogy. I really wanted to the build a UCS model of it. Yet, people who have built it aren't sharing the instructions for the moment (I understand why now ...). Last year I decided to design it under LDD with the goal of building it for real and displaying it ! Here are the conditions I've set and decision I've made: - A scale of 1/250 : -> 1/200 is actually better suited for this project. - Around 5000 parts : -> This was changed to 9000. - Only cheap and common parts : -> It's almost the case, all the parts are common. -> There are some expensive parts : the Technic bricks, the plates and few slopes. - Swooshable -> It will probably be swooshable as long as you don't hold it from the center. -> It will weight something like 15 kg ... - Be as close as possible to the movie model -> I am using about 200 pictures of the original model used for the movie -> I am using some pictures of the work done by ShowCraft on the therpf forum (He seems to have alot of information I don't) -> For the color scheme, I am using light bluish gray because 1) the parts are available and 2) you can't really see the colors in the movie -> In the movies, the model was mirrored to show the right side. If it is interesting, I use the model design, and if not, I mirror. - Build it by May the 4th 2016 -> It's going to be complicated ... I am about half way done with the design. Here are the pictures of the current work : WIP 4 by Samir Lrhoul, sur Flickr WIP 3 by Samir Lrhoul, sur Flickr WIP 5 by Samir Lrhoul, sur Flickr Please comment ! I'd love to know what you think of the current work and if you have any advises. PS : the flashy colors or things that will be modified.
  22. Hello everyone! I didn't really have any important things to do in this week, so I turned out to make a Rebel Gunship/Troop carrier MOC in LDD since the lacking in gunship/troop carrying ships for the Rebellion is kinda bother me. Did the ship's design reminded you for something, huh? Any comments and suggestions are welcomed. I'll post most details of the ship in later posts.
  23. Hi people, My name is Bart, I am 30 years old and slowly picking up my Lego hobby again. I will update my data, avatar and such soon. I work a full time job and a 20 hours study in the evening, so it takes a share of my free time Now that my studies are almost finished I want to start building Lego MOC’s and share some with you guys. I work as a mechanic in the Netherlands and sometimes other countries. I do work on a variety of things: aircraft engines, radar systems and creating special tools. My hobbies are: Technical stuff, music, science projects, BMX, old cars, photography and Lego So I will not bore you any longer with my life story, here are some photo’s of MOC’s I did and pictures of my hobby builds. Have fun! Mad Max 1 interceptor (big Mad Max fan here) I like sturdy builds wich have a lot of functions and details. Trying to build clean vehicles and sets though. Fury Road MOC: (Kinda silly but I like it). 'Tanka' from Carmageddon 1: (I hope it is o.k. to post this subject here) This is my 'Board Track Racer' project wich I am currently building completely from scratch and scrap: And my Herbie wich I restored a couple of years ago: (Its now sold to a couple wich have the time to keep it running). So yeah, too much hobbies here Feel free to ask questions and thanks for watching!

    Kahlahnee, Master of Pain

I longed to make a MOC of my favorite OC anti-hero. And now, thanks to New Years which brought us Darth Vader, me and Demitsorou finally managed to tear almost all of our Bionicle sets apart to assemble him. Master of Pain by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Kahlahnee is an OC of mine, a cursed Toa of Ice hailing from the twisted realm of Karzahni. Its ruler have crafted a powerful Mask of Suffering as a punishment for Kahlahnee's uncontrollable violent outbursts, which were the reason he's been sent to Karzahni in the first place. His weapon is a baseball bat. Don't ask me why.
  25. Presenting another Danish locomotive...DSB Litra MZ (I) History: The Danish State Railways (DSB) powerful Litra MZ (I) locomotives were built by Swedish Nydquist & Holm AB (Nohab) and Danish subcontractors on license from General Motors from the year 1967 to 1969. 10 (I)s were built followed by version (II) - (IV) later on. My model: Scale: 1:60 Lenght: 40 studs Width: 6 studs Bricks: 631 Motortype: PF or 9v Model built: 2015 (actually my 4th version) They were all painted DSB maroon typical of that time with the highly recognizable DSB wing logo on the fronts. Reddish-Brown has been selected as I think it is the most accurate LEGO colour available - at least when the locomotive is dirty or the photos have faded The stickers are homemade, no surprise there The top can easily be lifted off providing access to the battery box and all others parts inside the locomotive. The IR receiver is almost flush with the top making the signals from the IR remote easier to catch. DSB livery from the 70s and 80s with Litra MZ (I) in front of the later version (III).
