  1. Here is my entry for SoNE Ep. I: In the deep of Cloud City The squad with the soldier Wedge09 is tasked to reach a Rebel cell hinding in the lower sections of Cloud City. The squad find the rebel cell but the Imperial find them and the fights began. In the rebel retreat, soldier Wedge09 is the last man to retreat in the technical room. The Imperials are coming... ...and the rebels retreat. If you use lights? In this two last photos, I try to give more atmosphere using some lights. C&C are always welcome, I hope you enjoy my small work
  2. Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong category, but I wanted to share my first moc creation published to Lego Cuusoo entitled Modern Modular Furnished Beach Front House. It is a displayable and playable piece meant for adults and children alike, both boys and girls. Please do not let the pink colour put you off; I have proposed this in many different colours including neutrals like grey and white. I designed it with the intention of making this house as flexibly integrative as possible with all types of Lego scenarios. This house is bifold; it can open in the middle on hinges like the Monster Fighter's haunted house, and the roof is removable in 3 parts. It also has originally designed furniture and assessories. I am currently working on the landscaping. A complete set of updated photos are available at the following links: thank you for your interest and your vote!

Hi all! Just finished my latest MOC, a Romanesque Church. Hope you like it.. https://secure.flickr.com/photos/professor_chaos/9761772853/in/set-72157635540744112
  4. Hi! I'd like to present my latest MOC modular building, which I've called Black Velvet, after the cafe found on the ground floor. It's inspired by New York buildings. The owner has converted the space in the back alley into a little courtyard for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while they enjoy their coffee. The first and second floor houses an accountant office, with the reception and main meeting room on the first floor and the staff offices on the second floor. More images available on flickr. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome!

    MOC: A Very Special Build

Here is the castle ring holder I built for my sister and her (now!) Husband. The king and queen had the rings hanging off the sword and cup, Batman and the Fairy are to represent my sister and her hubbie. There are a number of little added animals that they are both fond of. It has an extra little chunk under the plate of the base so my brother could carry it safely without covering/damaging any feaures. The officials at the registry office were very impressed with the model, the officiator of the ceremony said it made her day! (And then told every member of the family how much she liked it!) To set the tone, I must add that they walked down the aisle to the March from Superman and used her favourite arrangement of Aerith's theme while they signed everything. They cut the castle shaped cake with a replica of a LotR Elven sword... Yeah...

    MOC: Mini Modular #6

Hey! I'm back from a short hiatus with my most recent mini modular build. Here's my sixth build. I got the dark red (1x2) and dark green (1x1) bricks from a PaB cup so I wanted to incorporate them into my latest build. This was initially going to be pink and purple but I didn't have the guts to do it :) Here it is: Front view. I'm undecided on the 1x1 round bricks on the bottom corners. I might revise that small detail. I used the same door technique from past builds. I like it for some reason but need to work on a new technique for variety's sake. Here are all six of my builds to date. From left to right: Apartment, Pizza, Ollivander's, Apartment II, Office, Pumpkin Factory. Let me know what you guys think! Any comments, critiques, or suggestions are appreciated. Enjoy, and thanks for looking. P.S. Maybe an actual camera is in order for the coming holiday season... Edited to update last picture with a cropped version.

    (MOC)-Modular Medieval Tower

Hello to everyone. Today I would like to introduce one of the latter MOC I've built. It's an ancient tower, restored and converted into a Museum. It's my first fully original Modular Building and the first to be completely designed with LDD. Each store has its own display of medieval stuff. Each floor has its own structure of wooden beams. I love castles ... But my idea of a giant castle does not agree at all with the available space in my house. I've taken the opportunity to to use some techniques to build the tower. In particular, I've taken care of the shape of the windows, creating the inclination of the walls as in the existing medieval fortresses, and I've tried to create realistic gargoyles. Unlike the original design and the fact that once built, it appeared a bit "stubby", I added a floor with a clock. The white panel is actually a Mobile Phone Antenna... we can usually see these antennas on higher buildings... The top floor has a wooden staircase leading to the terrace on top of the tower from which minifigs can admire the view of their city. www.flickr.com/photos/kevin8/sets/72157631268893806

    MOC : The Penguin Family

Hello all, There is my new Sculptures LEGO model, The Penguin Family, enjoy. Many Thanks for your watching and comment :)
  10. John Brown's Fort - Flickr I've been picking away at this model for a couple months now. The Federal Armory at Harpers Ferry, Virginia was made up of 22 buildings in 1859 when John Brown attacked the factory. But by 1864, the Armory was largely empty shells, collapsed buildings and jury-rigged warehouses. But John Brown's Fort remained much as it did half a decade before. In 1859, John Brown attacked the Federal Armory and Arsenal at Harpers Ferry. His aim was to capture the 100,000 weapons stored there and outfit an army of escaped slaves to carve out a free land in the slave state of Virginia. Flickr Brown and his 21-man army was hemmed in quickly, making a final stand inside the Armory's fire engine house. The building would forever sport the name of the man who tried to raise an army to destroy slavery. The Federal government dispatched troops and saw that Brown was executed for trying to arm former slaves in a war against slavery. Flickr In just 5 years, America underwent a revolution. The Federal government, the same one which condemned Brown, by 1863 was arming former slaves to march through the South in a war against slavery. In 1864, the 19th USCT marched through Harpers Ferry. Brown's avenging black army had finally arrived in front of the fort which bore his name. ----- This build was a real bear. The arches are all of the inverse sort thanks to a gap in the LEGO palette. Thanks to that and a few other oddities, a good deal of the model is SNOTed together. It's still a solid little beast. All told I'm very happy with how this model turned out. Eventually (by Brickfair VA 2014) this building will be getting a diorama of the contraband camp which was pitched in front of the Fort in 1864 as part of the LEGO Civil War Collaborative build project focused on the 150th anniversary of the final full year of the American Civil War. Enjoy, -John
  11. My contribution to SHIPtember. Copy and paste from the flickr page: Name: Police Enhanced Assault Shooter. Length: 108 Studs. Weight: heavy, but swooshable. Number of SHIPs built: 2 (the other one was Space Police also). Story: The Space Police were realising they were losing the battle against the increasing threat of the Blacktron forces. The SP assembled a small team of elite space commandos who's job was to quickly board and take control of Blacktron ships and small installations. In order to accomplish this, a specialised ship needed to be constructed. This is that ship. Code named PEA Shooter due to it's highly focused weaponry which is designed to punch a small hole in the heavily armoured hulls of enemy ships and smaller space stations. Its prime function is to warp in at extreme speeds, blow a hole in the hull of a ship, with the commandos then flying in with their jetpacks and quickly over-powering the bridge of the enemy ship. The weaponry is set to forward firing only, meaning it requires escorts if it encounters multiple enemy craft. Powered by two massive warp drives, this ship is capable of reaching speeds of over 8x the speed of light. For non-warp flight and maneuvering, it also has 4 large combustion rocket boosters. These two engine types enable the PEA Shooter to warp in from outside of sensor range and have the commandos board the target ship before the enemy have time to react. Please see my flickr page for all the photos:

    Lagoon Outpost

My first MOC I've been able to post online in almost a year, not to mention I built this months ago and just didn't have a camera to take a picture of it. I have a large collection, but not anywhere close to ones lots of you guys have, so I have to use my bricks wisely, such as skimping on the water; I didn't even intend it to have water to begin with, and if I had, I could have built sideways with blue bricks to do studless water. So yeah, the water looks crappy, and I meant to replace the white tiles near the front before I took the pictures, but forgot. :/ I looked at the EB "Build a Medieval Village" guide to do the millhouse (I'm sorry, but I can't remember who wrote the guide, but credit's due to them). And if anyone is curious, the flag draped on the tower wall is hand-drawn and colored by me, based on the old Pirates Imperial Trading Post. :) Anyway, I hope you like my little MOC here. Leave a comment if you can! Here is the full set on Flickr (with some more descriptions): http://www.flickr.com/photos/55680977@N04/sets/72157635570936125/with/9777691425/

    MOC - Music Shop Modular

Hello, At the moment the two most important things in my life are LEGO and music, so it makes sense to combine the two! This is a 3 storey modular building with around 3200 bricks, I'll let the picture do the rest of the talking, there are many more picture on my flickr photostream. I wanted to do two things with the exterior; one was the use of plates and second was windows all the way up the building, I'm quite happy with the result. The bottom floor is record store with a counter, many CDs for sale and even a vinyl box for the record lovers. There is also a storage room under the stairs to recording studio and stairs to the second floor where there are musical instruments for sale. The white tiles on the wall were meant to have stickers on them of 'posters' of music bands etc but my printer isn't talking to my computer atm.... Here is the second floor; this is the floor for all your musical instrument needs with guitars, a trumpet, a flute, a drum kit and even a grand piano!! You can also see the gold records on the wall leading up to the record studio. The third floor is the recording studio, as you can see there are two singers in the studio at the moment (although their microphones have fallen over ) but there is also a drum kit, an upright piano and a couple of guitars. The recording equipment is on show too, and more gold records on the wall, it's important to show your work off! And finally the roof top, there's no party like the after party!! And this is where it's at, all the stars can relax in the jacuzzi or enjoy a champagne or two with their BBQ. The store and studio is run by twin DJs, one you can see manning the BBQ, the other is chatting with the talent. Anyway, I hope you like it, as mentioned before there are heaps more shots, particularly of the interior and instruments on my photostream. Comments are welcome and appreciated
  19. Sorry about being so late on this, I just had a lot of stuff to do . Anyways, here is my Garmatron build, which follows (as closely as I can, at least) the TV series version. And a picture without minifigures: I compared it with the TV Show so you can see how similar it is. Here's the Front and Back comparison: and the Top and Side comparison (yea, I know, the top of mine is a whole lot smaller then the TV series one, but, there is only so much one can do with a limited collection ): More pics at my Flickr. C&C are welcome, as usual

  21. Meduseld, also known as The Golden Hall, is the center of power in the city of Edoras, the capital of the kingdom of Rohan. Build on a stone plateau on top of the highest hill in the city, the palace can be seen from afar by anyone approaching Edoras. Meduseld is built mostly from wood, but it was its straw roof reflecting sunlight in golden tones that earned the hall its nickname. Equestrian themes carved in wood or represented in tapestries honor the Rohirrim riders and the kingdom's love of horses. During the War of the Ring, Théoden King sat on his throne in the Golden Hall while he was manipulated by Gríma Wormtongue, until Gandalf, The White, came to free him. Gríma was then literally kicked out of the kingdom on the stone steps that lead to Meduseld. The following images were captured right before the Rohan people retreated to Helm's Deep. They portray a refreshed Théoden King between his niece Éowyn and his nephew Éomer, the Third Marshall of the Mark, shielded by archers and Rohirrim. About this MOC: I had been trying to choose a LOTR setting to build as my first post-dark-ages MOC for a while. Meduseld wasn't one of my first choices and I was already planning another Middle Earth landmark when the VII LugBrasil Challenge pushed me towards non-gray/blay subjects. Since I already had a good supply of brown and tan pieces and a dozen Rohirrim, the Golden Hall ended up being a natural choice. In order to keep my MOC within the challenge's 48x48 stud limit (and my own brick supply) I had to adapt a lot from the film trilogy Meduseld. Major changes were the removal of the stone obelisks and side halls, which contributed to the change of the roof profile. Even then, I believe the overall look of the building, inspired by Norman mead halls, was well preserved. The highlights are the wood-carved horses and the green and gold detailing to match the flags over the observation post. The hall's interior was also very simplified, being restricted to the throne room with a lightbrick-lit hearth and some benches. I had to improvise a crown for the King and hairpieces for his niece/nephew because they didn't look good wearing their helms, but those are presented to the sides of the throne with some weapons and the kingdom's treasure. C&C are very welcome and appreciated! Best, Preuss

  25. Hi, I'm making my first MOC here, I started a few hours ago using MLCad (it's also my first time using a program to build). I'm trying to reproduce a train from my country (Belgium), it's an automotive that I've taken for years and it seemed easy to build for a first time. Here's what it looks like (I've taken the pics at dusk 'cause I thought about it too late, I'll get some better tomorrow): Here's what I came up with for now: What you can see here's 8 stud wide, 7.66 high and about 38 long. My only question for now is: You've probably already faced this problem trying to MOC a train yourself, is there a nice way to get rid of the hole/space caused by the front window on the sides ? (I hope the question is understandable) Thanks for reading/helpingme.
