HI again everyone The final bricklink order I needed has arrived and as hinted at in the Profundity topic here is the Raddus from The Last Jedi. I actually started building this before the Profundity but with all the tinkering and rebuilds it has taken longer. As with most of my builds a certain piece defines the build and it is then built form there. For the Raddus it was the wedge for the nose (as discussed in the Profundity topic). The piece does not come in light bluish or dark bluish grey, so I have used flat silver. It works fine so no major problem. From the front I have used wedges and slopes to create the main section of the hull with the main section being 4 studs wide tapering back to 2 studs wide before the engine section using the 10x1 curved slopes. These slopes have been attached using headlight bricks through the middle of the model so the model is not wider than the wedge at the front. I have also managed to build the engine cluster at the back and have used 1x1 trans-blue plates for the hangar on either side near the front. The model flows quite nicely from front to back but as with most Mon Calamari vessels it is very difficult to get the curved shape completely right with LEGO, especially in such a small scale. I am not 100% happy with this model but I think I have got most of the details in and I am not sure what else I could change without losing the overall feel. Compromises have to be made in this scale after all. I also think the Vice Admiral Holdo figure looks cool next to the finished model. Let me know what you think and Merry Christmas to all! Jon

Hi again everyone This time I present a model I have tinkered with a lot - Admiral Raddus' flagship from Rogue One the Profundity. This is another example IMO of a nice ship design from the Disney era being used only once then blown to bits! The build itself has a few transitions from 2 bricks wide at the front to 3 bricks and then back to 2 on the tail to attache the nose section and to get the sleak shape which tapers to the tail. I also tinkered an awful lot with the nose section to get the hangar in. I must have built this section 4 or 5 times but finally settled with using the door rail pieces to mimic the hole as this meant that the nose would not get too thick throwing out the whole shape and feel of the model like some of the other attempts I made. I also attached the engines using clip tiles so the tail would not get too thick. Now to finish building the ship named after the commander of this one.......... Anyway let me know what you think. Ski Speeder Post 1 Hello again everyone This time I am going back to The Last Jedi with this new little model. I present The V-4X-D ski speeder, also known as the Resistance ski speeder seen in the Battle Of Krait. I have tinkered around with this little model for a while. You would think it would be quite an easy build but to get the dimensions etc "correct" took a couple of tricks. The cockpit has been built using bricks with studs in the side and is attached to the main body using 1x1 clip tiles. The gun on the other side has had to be attached using hinge plates to get a piece that is 5 studs long otherwise the wings become too thick. My favourite part of this little model is the rear section and the rudder. The steering wheel with the T-bar and 2 clip plates attached do the job perfectly I think. In fact this was the first part I built and the rest of the model and scale was determined by this section. Anyway let me know what you think. Jon and on display Planets style with Rose:

Hi everyone This is the first time I've posted a MOC in the train forum and although these models are not trains, they are still locomotives of a sort and I thought this would appeal to train and especially steam fans. "Miniature Steam Machines" is my collection of 3 steam engines designed at a small scale. I set myself a challenge to see if I could build these little engines using a very limited amount of bricks but still maintaining a decent level of detail. They are all very small. The biggest of the 3 models only contains 128 bricks. Traction Engine The Traction Engine is the smallest of the 3 models and only uses 82 bricks. The basic structure of this model forms the basis for all three models and this one in particular is intended to represent a miniature version of my LEGO IDEAS project, The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine. Steam Roller The second model is a steam roller and this one is made from 109 bricks. Showman's Engine The third model is a Showman's Engine. This model is the biggest of the 3 and contains 128 bricks. I designed these mini models to act as a sort of side project and to help promote my LEGO IDEAS model called "The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine". This a much bigger and more detailed model. [MOC] Mini Mclaren 570VX with BuWizz

Hey! I have to say that this is my first lego supercar, as i'm more used to trial trucks and trophy trucks. I worked on this one for about three months and the goal was to get a supercar over 1kg, wich I barely passed. First, some overall pictures of the car. Yea, I know, i've got some pretty bad panel gaps around the rear wheels and the whole back of the car isn't too great but it actually was built for the functions. Moving on to the manual functions the car has: Opening hood revealing the RTC system (locking) Opening butterfly doors Opening engine bay cover (locking) +the whole rear lifting in 2 sections to provide access to the BuWizz (large one is also locking) One huge challenge was to get a curved roof at such a small scale, wich you can see in more detail here: It's also fully suspended, front is independent with MacPherson and rear is pendular. I guess I could've squeezed something independent in the rear too but it was too little space and I was running out of time. Functions powered by BuWizz (wich is located behind the rear axle) Drive with an L motor, working V8 engine Steering with an M motor, working steering wheel Linear 2-speed gearbox integrated in the chassis powered by an M motor Here's a little game: Try to find all the motors in the car. Also, I would like to know what do you think about it. -

Good Day! So I was really bored this friday, and wondered how small a buggy motor powered car can be, just for pure interest. As it turns out, 2 buggy motors don't occupy that much space XD. So here it is, mini-size car powered by two beasts, Azimus! Needless to say, it's crazy fun! Design was inspired by Lexus concept vehicle from Minority Report, and Deora II from HotWheels. Albeit it was mainly made that way to accomodate the BuWizz as low as possible and turned out different from both. Pics on G-Drive and Brickshelf whenever it approves. [MOC] Lego mini crane: 1:14 Hoeflon C6 Spider Crane

Building Lego Technic creations and posting videos is a common bussiness for every MOC designer. Coming up with small and large inventions and sharing them is a continuing activity that never bores. However, there is one common dream, one ultimate goal that every Lego enthousiast silently dreams about: to design a professional Lego model. Several builders do what is called 'commissioned work'. Building a Lego Technic model and selling whatever it became to a company or private party. In general, Lego Technic custom models are loved by non-Lego enthousiasts because 'it works'. Several years ago, I got the unique chance to do commissioned work because a company CEO's brother accidentially saw my scale model. I first refused to sell my beloved Luctor, but two years later the one metre model was ready I got positive reviews about the looks, but the most comments were: "wow, it really works". Somehow this model must have been leaked inside 'CEO-land', as one year ago I was asked by the Hoeflon company (based in the Netherlands) to build a give-away Lego Technic model, to be used as a business gift. How cool is it to not receive the 32st boring USB drive, but a complete custom Lego Technic model.. The company builds mini cranes that go inside buildings to do heavy lifting. My task was to build a scale model of a machine that is already very compact in real life. As a result, I present a 1:14 scale model of the Hoeflon C6 crane. (please note I'm NOT paid by Hoeflon in any way, the whole story is just about how things happened and to explain the link with reality). The crane is my smallest MOC for a long time. It was really a challenge to fit all the functions inside the cramped body. The functions are: Track widening Boom rising/lowering Boom extension Fly Jib Rotating superstructure Friction winch Self-locking outtriggers Variable angle outtriggers with over 90 degree range These functions happen in a Lego Technic model of a smaller volume than the 9391 Technic crane set. Over the years I had lost some creativity to build small models so this one was a real challenge. I'm happy with the current setup but who knows.. The model is delivered with black or LBG tracks. LBG track links are slightly more expensive and this quickly adds up when 100+ cranes need to be made. To be fair, I find the looks of the 9391 stunning for the low part count. However, as I show in the video, it does not really work as a crane. The above photo shows the comparable sizes of both models. The front view. Please note the relative widht of the tracks: They are each 3L while the vehicle width is 7L. The resulting chassis is one stud in width! To widen the tracks, the crane has a shifting axle system with half bushes as stoppers. The final result is not the strongest system, but the crane at least has the function! The top view shows why this crane is called the 'Spider Crane': the outtriggers can be seen as the legs. The great thing about building such small models is that every part can be seen and every part has its function. There are very few 'unused studs'. This crane has a 3-section boom. In transport shape, this crane is 12 cm high so all of it should be folded. Therefore it looks like a proper mess when folded in. It is a common known fact that Hoeflon cranes will lift their own weight, because one crane should be able to lift another crane into a cellar. Hopes were low for the scale model as it is fully made from plastic Lego pieces. Under these loads, they will simply bend. Using the correct crane position and the winch, I got one crane to lift the other - just. On this small scale, I could not use the same strong structure from the real C6, so it was a nice result that my building resulted in something with the same strenght. The crane in full extended mode. The shape changes dramatically when the boom is unfolded. It reaches a maximum height of 42 cm. This model is meant as a business gift. This box was developed by a third party and it looks great. It is just big enough to contain the 425 parts and the A5-sized building instructions. I spent really hours drawing a 3D model and creating building instructions with lPub. By doing it yourselves, it becomes clear how much time goes into it.. The agreement with Hoeflon was: me delivering the PDF, Hoeflon doing the printing. I'm really pleased with the end result. To conclude, this MOC shows that you don't need a lot of parts to build a fun Technic model. I have many parts now compared to five years ago, but all of it is useless when someone knocks on the door to ask for a small scale model. This model also shows the problem of modern Technic sets from the store shelves. They are built large, very large. The 8265 Wheel loader is an example. It is enormous, while having less functions than this small crane that will fit into its bucket. Now the size may speak to the inner desire of the (hu)man to posess big things, but personally I like finesse and elegance over size. It is my big hope that TLG sees this in time, otherwise the awesomeness of new Lego Technic sets will fade away. The video -
Hello out there, it's amazing how time flies, I'll admit I'm not a super moccer, I was when I was younger, before there was such a thing as "mocs" ;) ha anyway, I'm still dabbling here and there and wanted to share another small moc I made. This is celebration of the 60th anniversary and of classic space which I loved then and still do and wish Lego would re-boot it. This is my mini take on LL918, which I had back in the day. I designed with LDD and just finally got around to getting pieces for it. Even Benny approves of this Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! I took a bit of liberties adding the flames for a bit of a fun affect. I like how the wheel turned out for the engine and the light saber handles for the landing gear.

Hi again everyone To celebrate the recent release of Solo (i must admit I have not seen it yet) I decided to build a Millennium Falcon in its honour. I decided to base it on the MINI model which came with the Lego Star Wars magazine: But in true Lando fashion I decided to pimp his ride back to the state it was in before Han got his grubby mits on her. The original model is a nice size for a mini with the saucer section six studs wide. 8 studs and you start getting a much larger model. I have changed it to white with blue, changed the radar dish to be flat, changed the gun and added the cargo pod at the front as well as a few other changes which add a bit more shape to the back section. and as usual on display with Lando planets styling and profiling: Let me know what you think. Hi All, First post here, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place, etc. I read through the 'READ THIS FIRST' posts and looked around a bit, so I think this is the correct place for these! I spent the last couple weeks on and off working on a set of Star Wars Micofighers, building, rebuilding, changing, stripping, rebuilding, tweaking, etc. After building several of them, I decided to create a custom set with unique color schemes and call them the "Shadow Squadron." (Also considered "Wraith Squadron" and "Stealth Squadron", but according to Wookieepedia, both of those were alternate names for Wedge Antilles' "Gray Squadron") Beyond that, I actually put a lot of thought into the types of weapons I had on each one as well. I have hyperlinks to Wookieepedia with explanations for each specific weapon. If you really want to read about them, feel free to do so! If not, by all means ignore the links =) At the very bottom of the post, I put an index of the specific piece and the corresponding weapon I imagined it to be. Sorry for this being a HUGELY long post. Wanted to get enough pics in to show it all! My internal goals were to have the following items factor into each: Must be able to hold a mini-figure Mostly Blue and Black color schemes Highlights in transparent red Place for two lightsabers to attach on each vehicle Blue or Clear wedge piece for the windshield Keep the same overall structure as the original Star Wars ships but modify the weaponry Regarding weapons, have a CONSISTENT rationale for why I used a specific piece for a weapon and keep them consistent across ships (What piece = a laser canon vs ion cannon vs turbo laser, etc) If possible, customize the design so it's not just copying an existing LEGO set with different colors Overall the squad consists of: Millennium Falcon (Custom design with lots of different features and weapons) X-Wing (Custom design and modified weapons; I tried to make it significantly different than the current X-Wing Microfighters available.) Tie Silencer (Heavily Modified version of Kylo Ren's Microfighter [Set 75196] with custom weapons) Tie Bomber (Custom design with slightly modified weapons) A-Wing (Least modified of the bunch, based on the A-Wing Microfighter [Set 75196], just updated colors and guns a bit) AT-ST with a Tiny Tie Fighter and Tie Advanced escort drones (AT-ST similar to [Set 30054], Tie Fighter similar to [Set 3219], Custom Tie Advanced) Here's the the Stealth Squadron on a stand that I put together. Individual pictures of each ship along with design/weapon details are also below. Fighter #1: Millennium Falcon Completely custom design Instead of the main Quad Laser Cannon, it has a modified Compact Superlaser turret One Laser-Beam Cannon on each side of the main turret (Sustained beams of energy instead of just bolts) Two front mounted ion cannons just above the jaws Diamond Boron Missile Launchers between the jaws Cluster Bomb Launchers on the front and rear (Clear round studs) Two Distortion Field Emitters on each side jaw Modified satellite dish with an Ion Cluster Bomb launcher (Clear blue round stud) Side mounted Turbo Laser and twin Chainguns concealed inside the doors (Used especially for ground support while circling a target - Think AC-130 style) Side mounted twin Laser Cannons just above the Turbo Laser Heavy Shield generator Concussion missile in front of the cockpit Diamond Boron Missile launcher with a Void-7 Seismic Charge attached, mounted on the back of the main turret. DEAR LEGO STAR WARS FANS!!!! If you have found your way to this account, you are either interested in the world of LEGO Micro-building... or you just clicked on a wrong link somewhere and are now very surprised to be surrounded by these tiny marvels of creations... or not. If the former is true then, welcome. In 2011 I received my first STAR WARS Advent Calendar for Christmas, and was blown away by the sheer ingenuity and accuracy capturing the looks of iconic ships in truly micro form. Naturally, I had to have a go myself! I built a few... I was pleased... I built some more... and here we are nearly 6 years later, and I am still building them. I began by reading my first LEGO STAR WARS Visual Dictionary (DK) and building a micro of EVERY SINGLE SET IN THE BOOK! With that now exhausted, I moved onto the 2014 edition with more sets... I built all of those too. So now I just build a micro of every new star wars set that has, is, or will come out since 2014, amongst other iconic and less well-known ships from STAR WARS 'non-canon' such as the Old Republic, Freemaker Adventures, Yoda chronicles to name but a few. With a back catalogue of over 270 mini micros and counting, this truly is the World's largest Encyclopaedia of STAR WARS micro kits. Hello! I have built yet another mini trial truck, this time I tried to replicate the Russian Gaz 66 off road truck: To use the model team tires I had to make it very compact, and as a result I had to use a chain to transfer power to the driveshaft, which I do not like. I used leaf springs (flex axles) in my live axles, which both makes it very compact and gives it tons of suspension flex. 4x4 - M motor Steering - M motor Leaf spring live axles Video: -

After the happiness of getting 18th in the Wacky wheels contest, i decided to share my most recent project. If you haven't already figured it out, I love mini loaders. That is why i am now presenting my 3rd mini loader on this site. I mostly love them because i had the opportunity to drive a Cat 297c (and a bulldozer) at 13, and he said i drove it perfectly. It had a fork attachment when i drove it, so I put forks on this to honor that (I lifted part of flatbed a truck with it). skid steer, independent wheels. cockpit (seat + controls) self leveling boom (standard linkage.) place for removable attachments (more later) forks. I ended up spending 10$ on the wheels for this (+ the telehandler), and they look great. leveling linkage. Please drop a comment, and thanks for looking. Yet another moc in small scale, but this time something off-road My goal while building this moc was to implement full suspension + steeringo on both axles, I reached it after just one day of building. Things got complicated when i started building the body for which I had totally no idea. finally i decided to build a blue pick-up truck with some yelow details. I also iplemented two other functions: winch and openable doors. for suspension model uses my own idea shock absorbers, these are really usefull as I believe... I really enjoied building this modeel and I'm happy how it turned out :) some miniatures: Thanks for your atention and I'm waiting for your comments :D -

Hi everyone! My first of a few c models from my claas, I made a small Mini Track loader, using 300 parts maybe. I will be making more c models, maybe larger ones. It has: Smooth liftarm tracks Arm movement Bucket movement Cabin Control sticks Rear engine cover opening Engine removable I had a lot of fun fiddling with it, and looking at it. I hope you like it too. I also got a new backdrop for 69 cents! Tell me if you like the new backdrop! How is it, and tell me anything to improve! -
Mini Dumper with BuWizz

I had a long conversation with Roni of BuWizz fame about desirable vehicles used with his invention. Apart from electrifying large Lego technic vehicles, we were thinking about producing a simple and low-part-number vehicle, which can be quickly build and used. Well, this was the intention, however I was not very successful with this. I mean, it's not a problem regarding dimensions etc., but more of a general shape. My cars look like something from another world but not in a good sense. So, please Sariel and other well established builders, perhaps you could just skip this presentation:-) But then I have spotted Mini Mining Truck in 42055 and it seemed cute (perhaps I am a bit biased towards large models but small technic models are generally quite nice and full of features). Therefore I decided to motorized it. At first I've tried with Lego components but found out there is no room. Then I decided to use BuWizz, since allowed a bit smaller footprint. However, the truck kept growing in size. I have motorized the propulsion (I wanted to add the differential, however it kept the truck to slip while navigating rough terrain), steering and raising/lowering the dump. In addition I have also put in some lights, however BuWizz application at this moment does not support switches (hint, hint) so using lights is a bit of a drag. There are several issues I did not addressed properly: single back wheels (not enough room at this scale), not uniform color (lack of parts), cabin missing (I used the space for cables) etc. I have rebuild the d*mn thing at least 10 times but I guess this just speaks about my inability to do great technic job. Nevertheless, the truck moves and it's quite fun to play with. And I guess this is one of the main features. -
Hey everyone, not a huge city builder, but thought I'd share a few small MOCs I gone and done: - minifig playable vintage Mini Cooper - old model Actros with long heavy haul trailer - good ol' backhoe I wanted a playable mini for my family minifigs, although in my quest for playability, fitting two minifigs in parallel and aesthetics, I made it a bit big, I will try out a 4 wide minifig version soon front rear front engine interior and functions I'm mainly a castle and space builder, but something needs to deliver all those castle wall stones and spacefaring engines! I tried ot make the front in the older Actros style, with engine playability and sleepability on the interior front interior with bed engine trailer hauling the Medieval Market Village And finally a simple backhoe to terraform the ground for the castle buildings and spaceports, for some reason I feel like the official Lego backhoes never get it quite right... front rear in action

I just found the new image online showcasing the line-up for LEGO's new 2017 Advent Calendar. I am very surprised to see some familiar mini kits! I am JamesArts. I have been building micro sets since the debut of the first LEGO Star Wars Calendar in 2011 and have built over 270 micro sets in total these past 6 years, so of course it comes as no surprise that some of my ideas have been echoed by LEGO themselves. However recently I uploaded all my builds to flickr and have started up my own YouTube channel with instructions on how to build them. Now I'm not accusing LEGO of plagiarism... but... some of their most recent sets (In particular the Hover Tank from Rogue One) look very very similar to some of my builds. Others that seem to be appearing 1-2 years after I first designed them are the Ghost, Phantom, Krennick's Shuttle, Luggabeast and AT-DP to name but a few in this calendar alone. Bare in mind that almost all of the sets on my flickr were added before March 2017, with most being designed and built long before then some up to 6 years prior. I have been praised on Eurobricks and YouTube for my designs of many of my builds such as my Hover tank, with a few YouTubers even asking if they can feature my builds in their videos (as long as they give me the credit for the design of course). what I do not want is (IF... IF!... Lego are plagiarising these designs) for them to take full credit; if they are not copying them then there is too much coincidence and similarity of design) Others here are similar, and all of my builds are free to be viewed on my flickr profile.
