  1. The 709.600 studs foundation of our LEGO layout is finished, and the first part of the layout is now completed. The central part of the finished section is based on our previous MOC "Møllestien", which depicts a real world location (Møllestien in Aarhus, Denmark). The MOC has previously been on display at the Christmas Exhibition at the local department store Salling, but has has now been modified and integrated into our own layout. In our new version, Møllestien is surrounded by train tracks and landscaping, and all houses are illuminated by LEDs from Light My Bricks. Compared to the original version, four additional houses have been added, covering the posts for the upper level of the layout. As shown in the video, the full layout consists of three levels. Everything is built in LEGO - including the posts for the upper levels and the upper levels themselves. A lot of technic elements were built into posts and upper levels to provide strength and stiffness, so that heavy MOCs can be added without risk of collapse. More details in the video: Pictures:

    [MOC] Lamborghini Diablo

    Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engine sports car built by Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It is the first production Lamborghini capable of attaining a top speed in excess of 320 kilometres per hour (200 mph). Building instructions are available on the following links: It is a studless build in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only one Lamborghini logo sticker and a standard vehicle registration plate sticker are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic taillights, the side air intakes, the side view mirrors and rear details with the double exhausts etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the hood tilt and some half stud offsets in the inside structure. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures with helmets or small hairs.   3. I'm happy to be able to share my latest medieval MOC, Dragon Fortress Pagoda. The colour scheme draws inspiration from 7419: Dragon Fortress, while the structure is based off Ayrlego's Lotii Pagoda. I have built a similar structured Pagoda in the past but was keen to try a new colour scheme, tiled roofs, and add a little flora.   4. Hello All!! I'm very happy to share my latest Technic supercar design, the BMW M4 GT3! I spent the entire summer working on the chassis, trying to make use of the new Ferrari Daytona parts (rims, differential, panels) to create a fast RC design with full turning capability and full speed. My latest design, the 1:7.5 BMW M4 GT3! by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This build features 5 different suspension ride heights, 3 of which have torsion bar suspension, full RC drive and steering with working steering wheel and lights, manual option with HOG, door locks, opening hood truck and doors, inline 6 engine. BMW M4 GT3 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I wanted the suspension to have an easily adjusted height, something that can be switched on the fly, and to be able to create a racecar stance, lower at the front and taller at the rear, all while being fully functional in RC mode for each height. My latest design, the 1:7.5 BMW M4 GT3! by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The new differential allows minimal friction, allowing this car to hit a very comfortable speed with 1 buwizz and 2 buggy motors. The steering is very nimble with full turn capability, and even more so with Andrea's brand new design - custom create rims that actually remove the brake disk from Lego and use his own designed hubs to sink the deep disk rim inward, while still providing functionality to the RC drivability thru the u-joints.     [MOC] Midi-Scale AT-AT Diorama

    Discovering the Battle of Hoth on screen is one of those childhood moments I'll always remember. So my first ever walker MOC had to be the AT-AT from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. And for such an iconic scene, making a diorama-style build was mandatory. At only 19cm (7,4") high, this Midi-Scale AT-AT consists of 924 pieces (1,317 in total with the diorama base & T-47), and is accurately Nanofig-scaled. It features a movable head and fully articulated legs, allowing many different poses. Working at such a compact scale, capturing fine surface detail and smooth, gapless angles for the body required a great deal of unique techniques. My main goal was to make the model feel deceivingly heavy and massive despite its small size, and of course achieve that prop / toy vibe I'm so fond of. The most challenging parts of the AT-AT were definitely the head and legs: the head for its subtle angles and challenging shape, and the legs for proportions, joints, feet, and very slight width differences as you go towards the bottom. Nanofigs (or trophy figs) scale perfectly to both the AT-AT and T-47, which also scale accurately to each other. The diorama base allows the AT-AT feet to be connected in various positions, and can accommodate two flying T-47s. This 358-piece base is optional and comes in a separate parts list, for builders who prefer displaying the model solely (picture 7 in the Flickr album). Parts list also include a string piece that can be easily added to reproduce the harpoon scene (picture 5 in the Flickr album). ► Instructions for the AT-AT are available at BrickVault.     [MOC] Harrower Class Dreadnought

    I don't have any experience with the games, but I saw a picture of the Harrower and was inspired. Aesthetically, I love the aggressive shape of the ship. The engine design is quite different from typical ISD style designs and I really like how the ship is absolutely covered with quad laser and quad turbo emplacements. Strategically speaking, this ship makes a lot more sense than "newer" Republic or Imperial style destroyer designs. A few retro improvements (in my opinion at least): - Command bridge is less exposed compared to Acclamator, Venator, Imperator - Engines are recessed and less exposed compared to Acclamator and Venator -Quad laser turrets are placed on the top and bottom sides of the hull which provides better coverage than if placed in the trenches. -The front and side hangar entrances are recessed which would give ingress and egress of fighters more protection Time will tell if I make this IRL.   14. +++ UPDATE 27/December/2016 +++ Happy holidays eurobricks! I have some new pictures of my Venator. You can check out my flickr for more pictures. I will upload more as soon as possible. First post also edited. greetings Kommander +++ UPDATE 3/December/2016 +++ Long time no see eurobricks! Today my Venator enters the sky above the ship yards of Rothana Heavy Engineering. As the project manager I proudly present you the capital ship “ATELLES”- a Venator class star destroyer. Back in 2005 when I saw the Star Wars Epi. 3 starting sequence in the theaters – I was like “I really have to build one of these giants!” Then a few years later and already earning my own money I started the wip. The plan was building a venator bigger than the Lego ISD (10030). While processing the project there were 2 points of massive improvements. Each time I change the size and the new version was bigger than the old one. The building time on the last version of the Venator I´m showing you in this thread was only about 2 years. Now be at university the time has come to finish this ship. Over the whole 7 years I ordered about 100 times at Bricklink.com. Additional to these orders I used a lot of my own bricks in storage. I don’t know how many bricks I used for the Venator. It have to be something above 45000 pieces with a weight of 65 kg. The construction of the inner structure and the frame is basically like the #10030 IDS. A structure made out of technic bricks carrying the whole ship. This technique is easy to scaling up to big dimensions. The Venator´s of Erik Varsegi and Iomedes were always leaders in supersized star destroyers and a good orientation for my project. At one point my Venator should be one of those as well and I destroyed the old version and made a bigger one. This Venator how hitting the length of 220 cm x 117 cm x 68 cm. A bit smaller than the others. However, the thing was building this ship as accurate as possible. Some details of the origin Venator from the Movie has been changed or replaced with own ideas like the frame structure at the surface. The overall impression has to match and looks smooth. For those they want to know about construction details here we go. In the middle of the ship is a massive string - the ship´s “backbone”. Different sections like the hangar or the thrusters are connected with it. The inner structure mostly consists of technic bricks, pins and plates. Simultaneously I build the “wing”-plating because the wedge-plates with their angles restrict the shape of it. And as you know the plating is a bit bigger so it can overlap the frame. The thickness of the plating is 5 layers of plates. One slope underneath and above the string create the first important angle. Each one has left and right technic bricks as well. On those the wings can be attached. Unfortunately I secured the underneath-plating with some wires because the weight was too much and I couldn´t find any alternative to fix this problem. It is the only thing that isn’t Lego. Glue also never touched this project. In every thruster is also a solid string with technic bricks. Rings consists of 8 hinge-elements are the basement for the use of round bricks for the shape. A unique technique which also looks pretty nice. To counteract a misalignment of the long thrusters I decided to install them with an increasing angle upwards. And as expected it works pretty well. The command tower as well as other sections can be detached easy. Reason behind this is of course for the transport. Next step is to exhibit this giant on events in Germany. Maybe I manage to change and improve some things unstill the first event. Finally the last step is selling this thing dissembled in components or complete as Moc. Some of you maybe discovered my litte turrents on flickr in various groups. At the beginning of the building progress in year 2008 i started with a size around 150 cm in lenght, but by passing the years i scale up the size to the Venator im showing you now. This ship hitting a lenght of 220 cm and has a width of 120 cm. Dimensions like Erik Varszegi`s Venator. Maybe a litte bit smaller. Btw. here you can see a picture of my first Venatorbuild. Looks kinda cute, isn`t it? Most things are finished...thrusters, guns, superstructure. I really can see the finish line. But this update/post is only for an overview. That means unfortunately no closeup pictures. The next and last milestone is the underside armor. In the meantime i`m going to fill the gaps and there`re still bricks that need to be changed.   16. Hi! This is my first proper LEGO military scale model MOC of a real vehicle - the famous M1126 Stryker ICV! The MOC is a true display model, very close to the true mini figure scale. I tried to stay true to the scale and detailing of the real vehicle as much as possible using many reference pictures, and I am especially proud on the Protector RWS turret :). As a display model, the Stryker has limited play-ability - the two roof hatches can open for posing the crew inside, the Protector turret can be "turned" and moved, front wheels also can be turned. No interior detailing though. I am very much looking forward to build a nice small diorama around this beast in the future!     [MOC] DSB IC3 (8-wide DMU)

    Presenting another of my Danish State Railways’ (DSB) trains redesigned to 8-wide and digitally rendered (with a bonus livery)... DSB IC3 The Danish State Railways’ (DSB) highly successful and innovative InterCity 3 aka IC3 passenger train was co-developed by Siemens -Duewag in Germany and ABB Scandia in Denmark. The train is operated by DSB in Denmark and Sweden, by Renfe Operadora in Spain and by Israel Railways in Israel. Amtrak in the USA and Via Rail in Canada have tested the train in the past. A trainset consists of three units; two diesel motor units (Litra MFA and Litra MFB) and one intermediary unit (Litra FF). Up to five trainsets can be coupled together. 96 trainset were built for DSB from 1989 to 1991. All are still in service today. My model: Original white and red livery used from 1989 to 2002. Fictionally named “Jørgen Vig” with the crest of Billund added. Scale: 1:48 Length: 157 studs (MFA: 55 – FF: 47 – MFB 55) or approx. 122 cm Width: 8 studs Bricks: 2.948 (MFA: 1.040 – FF: 861 – MFB 1.047) Locomotion: 2 x 9v or 2 x PF/PUP train motors Power: 9v, 2 x LEGO AAA battery boxes or 2 x BuWizz battery boxes Control: 9v, PUP, SBrick, PFx Brick or BuWizz Designed: 2022 Conversion of my 7-wide model from 2017 to 8-wide with more accurate dimensions. Its able to navigate R40 but looks rather silly doing so: Interior with seats for 83 minifigs: Decorative side design for the bogies - a combination of parts and the molded decorative side for train motors: The coupling part can be change to a Liftarm Thin 1x7 (BL#32065) when combining several trainsets. Technique used for the sliding doors: Removing the 1 x 4 Tile as shown enables the door to slide open as a play feature. The fixed outer doors are a necessary part of the construction otherwise the very long body breaks too easily due to the roof being removable. As seen in the cinematic trailer (link to Youtube) for LEGO Universe, The Spider Boss was imagined by Baron Typhonus as a creature of pure chaos in the Mythran Temple and brought to life by the power of the Imagination Nexus. The Baron created the Spider Boss to demonstrate the possibilities of Imagination without rules. The Spider smashed a Robot Dog (that had just been created by Doctor Overbuild) and moved to attack Duke Exeter, Dr.Overbuild, and Hael Storm as Baron Typhonus laughed in triumph. However, creatures of chaos serve no master; the Spider turned on Typhonus and dragged him into the Imagination Nexus. This action corrupted the Nexus and mutated it into the Maelstrom. I recreated this MOC from instructions on Rebrickable by user Brigs, as seen here. I had to change some parts' colors around (as it wasn't buildable in original form without selling a kidney), and other parts were weakly attached. For example: Those two black wedge slopes on the rear of the body were originally purple, but couldn't be bought in quantity due to them being from one 2014 X-Men set. This made it impossible to get them at a reasonable price. That's all for now, thoughts and comments are always appreciated!
  23. After about 5 months of work (off and on), I've finally finished my modified C.K. Holliday train (Lego 71044). During high school and college in the 90s, I was a conductor on the DLRR, so this set hits close to home and is something I've wanted for a long, long time. It also means I was keenly aware of where the stock model wasn't quite accurate. This was my first time modifying a Lego set, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.The engine was pretty heavily reworked, and I made some changes to the parlor car as well. Approximate mod list includes: Changed boiler jacket to dark blue, inspired by @TJJohn12. Lengthened the engine by two studs. Increased engine width at pistons to 9 studs. Reworked the pilot to use a double-pin system similar to the Constitution. Reworked pistons inspired by @Carefree_Dude. Drive rods by @zephyr1934. Redesigned cab interior. Parlor car extended by 4 studs, additional chair inside. Replaced stock wheels with ball bearings and rods. Custom stickers by OKBrickWorks What do y'all think?
  24. Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a mid-engine sportscar produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini. In keeping with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a Spanish fighting bull that fought in Zaragoza, Aragón, in 1993. The Aventador is the successor for the Murciélago and was made by hand in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-149528/_TLG_/lamborghini-aventador-lp700-4 It is a studless build in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two types of stickers are used: simple black ones to cover the visible parts of the headlights in the front air intakes, and the Lamborghini logo. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic headlights, the front and side air intakes, the side view mirrors and rear details with the wide exhaust etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the hood tilt and some half stud offsets in the inside structure. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The two trans-clear headlight parts "Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1" (part 3665) are very rare, it never released in a set, but is available on Bricklink in some webshops. Of course they can be replaced for example by white, black, light bluish gray or dark bluish gray versions. The parts 86996 and 42446 are also rare, but the picture 7 shows an alternate side view mirror solution. It is a very low build, and can roll well only on flat surfaces. It is more of a display model then a toy for small children. The model has space for two minifigures: one with small hair or helmet in the driver's seat and one either without hair or withour leg.     [ENTRY] Shark Cart

    As a young child, I remember turning the lego shark upside-down and seeing the stud connections. Try as I might, I could never effectively employ the shark. Almost 30 years later, I may have reached the pinnacle of my abilities. I present (what I hope to be) the 90s equivalent of the Bathtub Stunt Bike 60333-1, my 2023 MINI BUILD ENTRY: The Shark Cart. The bar clip doubles as a kickstand Ironhook is the only option for characters: he needs some damage (presumably from the shark), and Redbeard is too "buttoned up" for a shark chariot. Play features: kickstand, shark, and the 2x2 round bottom tiles make it slide very smoothly. Beyond that, I'm considering what a Broadside or Kahuka cart might entail. Flickr Link
