Greetings, fellow brick lovers! I'm happy to present you my new project - the legendary Lamborghini Miura SV. I couldn't leave this masterpiece of car engineering without attention it deserves and built it with Lego. Revolutionary and innovative, Miura was basically the first supercar ever produced, setting the standart for sport vehicles up to now. Mid-engined light vehicle with two-seat layout - sounds familiar, right? Named after Ganadería Miura, the Spanish fighting bull ranch (as well as most of the other Lamborghini cars' names having been associated with bulls), this little devil, equipped with V12 engine, was extremely light, with the weight not exceeding 1300kg. The shapes of the car are not edgy compared to its successor Countach, and this has made the process quite hard for me, as the target was not only to copy the exterior, but also to make the openable parts exactly like in the original. This 1243 parts' model features: openable doors, front and rear part fully built interior and a V12 engine replica spare wheel in the front part and a tool box behind the engine :) modular system for easier building process Thank you and have a great day!

Do you like stories about secret rooms, hidden maps, the secret signs and ancient treasures? I will tell you one such story. Once upon a time lived a famous architect. He even built palaces for kings. He was fabulously rich and famous. He was very fond of gold and jewels. And all the money he spent on them. But when he died, left a very strange Testament. The old architect wrote in his testament that he hid all his gold and jewels. The map and the key to the treasure he left for storage to the Admiral Carl Jonson who was a close friend of the architect. It seems that everything is simple. But the admiral died 10 years earlier than the architect. Therefore, it is impossible to ask the Admiral, where the treasures are hidden. People says that the treasure has not yet been found. Maybe you can find them? Good luck! So I made a little comic about a treasure hunt. This story happened on this pedestrian street. Black Jade Pavilion This model presents a typical scene in Chinese royal garden. It is based on a corner view of the famous Summer Palace in Beijing, China. There are two buildings in the scene. The single-level one is named Moyu Xuan, and the other one is called Danxia Ge in Chinese, Which means black jade and rosy cloud. The rockeries in the middle of the model along with lotus in the lake, the whole model represents peace and harmony in Chinese culture. Some features: Build on a 32x32 baseplate. All doors and windows can be opened. Flare angles of the cornices are fixed by hinge plates which connected to a 1x4 plate with 2 knobs. they are very stable. BMW 2002 Turbo Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by! Information of the 2002 Made in 1974, the 2002 Turbo was the first car made by BMW that had a trubocharger. This little 2-door car made more than 170 BHP, which on those times was a lot of power, still it was a nice car that you could use to go on a trip with your family on the weekend. Information of the Lego version: I designed this using techniques from the Lego Creator Expert sets, such as the Mini, VW Camper, Beetle and F40, so it would look nice if you placed it next to the sets mentioned before. It also features opening bonnet, trunk, doors, detailed interior and engine. On the interior, it has 4 detailed seats, a straight 4 engine, and detailed dashboard. With a lot of space on the trunk and "glovebox". On the rear, you will see the opening trunk, detailed tailights and even an exhaust! Hope you liked it enough to click that support button! With the recent concert tour of "A Head Full of Dreams", Coldplay's popularity has risen drastically, therefore why not create a project of a popular group. The set is a concert stage, so the builders will be able to use it for their own customs and other play features. I really like the modular buildings, which makes LEGO company. Each new official LEGO modular building is not similar to the previous one. Each new set is an interesting building, which occupies a large part of the standard base plate 32*32. Pedestrians, in turn, have to huddle on a narrow strip of sidewalk. In such a small space it is difficult to create something interesting from the life of minifigures. I want to propose to build a long pedestrian street which there is in every city. The most interesting is always happening on a pedestrian streets: street performers, musicians, artists, street cafes with the cheerful companies and so on. My project is fully compatible with the official Lego modular buildings. If you make several similar sets, you can create a long pedestrian street where you will be able to create all sorts of interesting stories and situation with your minifigures. This is a very exciting and interesting! My project is the begin of walking street. In the buildings there are a jewelry store with a jeweler's office, a hostel, a souvenir shop and a small cafe. I think the pictures will tell you about my project more than I can write.

The T-rex is the apex predator in the Cretaceous age, and the most perfect masterpiece evolution has ever managed to accomplish. Because 65 million years after its extinction, it is still the biggest and most powerful carnivore ever walked the earth.When I first watch Jurassic Park, I was immediately captivated by the power and beauty of the T-rex, and hopelessly fell in love with her. And what beats watching a T-rex movie? Building one yourself! At 59 cm length and 930 grams weight, This model is possibly the world*’s largest posable T-rex that stands on its own. * LEGO world :-) For more pics of the beast, please visit me on flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskCpW3Se Features: 1. It grew bigger as the building went on, for we are all greedy in the detail department. As a result, at a certain moment, It suddenly hit me that this thing may never be able to stand on its own when finished, and that would be an ultimate bummer (Yes, it’s my second MOC, I never knew LEGO was so heavy!). But due to a technique (mixel joints served as tendons), a lot of time and effort put into banlancing, and many compromises made to aesthetics, the completed T-rex stands on its own. (It may not pose a problem for digital building, but I consider this the No.1 feature of this build.) 2. Play features: This beast is not only a display piece, It is moderately posable thanks to a lot of joints. And it has to be from the conveiving because there are so many cool postures and it would be a waste of bricks if it ends up to be just a statue. Again, aesthetics has to give way… to gaps. But the very essence of LEGO saves the day again: with a few parts (modules) added or removed, the gaps left by maneuvers can be covered. 3. Sturdy. Every time I had to choose between appearance and sturdiness, I chose the latter, for which I think is a virtue of official sets. 4. I try to get the proportions as real as possible. Oftentimes I see a T-rex MOC, the head is over-sized to stress the beast's ferociousness and the feet are disproportionately large to increase stability. 5. This is a project I've been working on from time to time during the summer. A bobblehead is a toy figure with an oversized head that is connected to the body with a spring. When you lightly tap on its head it wobbles (or bobbles) back and forth for a while. I was thinking about how a bobblehead could be made by LEGO bricks, and how the wobbling effect could be built. There is no real LEGO spring that can be used for this purpose, so I had to think of something else to use. After some trial and error I found a simple technic using an LEGO antenna piece which creates a wobbling effect that works really well. The video below shows how it works in reality. I created an Ideas project of it as well, so please have a look and I would appreciate if you gave it your support. I decided to recreate six characters from the original Star Wars movie into LEGO bobbleheads - Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. The head can also be turned in all directions like in the image below. Hope you enjoy it!

HUGO CABRET Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr This i my small tribute to a great movie, Hugo Cabret, by Martin Scorsese. The movie is based on Brian Selznick's graphic novel "The Invention Of Hugo Cabret". Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr It’s about a boy who lives alone in the Gare Montparnasse railway station in Paris in the 1930s. His died father has left behind notebooks, including his plants to finish an automaton found in a museum. Hugo seems somewhat a genius with gears, screws, springs and levers, and the mechanical man is himself a steampunk masterwork of shining steel and brass. This old man is none other then the immortal french film pioneer Georges Melies, who was also the original inventor of the automaton. It will be a nice idea include a tile with a graphic that represent Georges Melies most famous short film "A Trip To The Moon" (1902) with the ship that pokes the man in the moon in the eye. It doesn’t represent only the story of a boy, but mostly it is an analogy about the sense of life, putting the emphasis on how much each person contribution is important in the world. Hugo during the movies states: “I like to think that the world is a whole big unique equipment. You know equipment are made with the exact number pieces they need, consequently I come to the conclusion that if the world is a unique equipment, I personally have a reason to be here and the same is for you!” Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr In reference to my creation, I have tried to incorporate as many details and references to the movie as possible. You can find Hugo Cabret, Isabelle, Georges Melies with his camera, the automaton, the mechanic mouse, many mechanisms, the clock, the heart shape keys. All the mechanisms on the left work as the same as the one in the central column, some with a continuous movement other with an alternate movement in order to simulate the goes by of the time. In the event that this project would be made I am sure that LEGO designers would find a way to make it work. Hi everyone! This is my entry to the Category A category of the A-Maze-ing contest, a fairground! The fairground comes complete with everything one would have - rides, vendors, even a big circus tent. You start your journey through the maze by the red and white tent, rolling past the race car ride. Past that are two drop towers, one red, and one blue. (Pardon the really bad arrows ) Then, you make your way past trees and into the vendor area. There is a variety of food stands such as an ice cream stand, a pie stand, and a hot dog stand! (Which would be a bun but LDD doesn't have that piece yet!) After that, you go past the Tilt-a-Swing ride, do a couple turns, and curve past the big circus tent in the center. The build is intended to be the same as the water tower in 10246 Detective's Office. Then, you roll under the roller-coaster, past the ferris wheel, over a hill, and reach the end of the race by the blue and white tent! The journey is complete! That's my entry! I might improve the map a bit by integrating some of the rides (such as the ferris wheel) into the maze, but until then this is it! Thank you for looking at my entry, and I hope you enjoy it!

Description: Based on a tried & tested English Electric design, the South Australian Railways 800 Class locos were unique in that they were primarily used around Port Adelaide and in later years rarely ventured out of the metropolitan area. Seven of the class were allocated to the now defunct Gillman Yard and when not in use, were stabled at the loco servicing point at the western end of the yard. It was commonplace to see five or more 'on shed' on a weekend - the rest could usually be found at Mile End Diesel Depot. Their arrival meant the end of steam loco working from Port Adelaide depot and the remaining diminutive P class tank engines were consigned to the scrapheap. The original steam depot was closed to steam in July 1957, but used to house the new 800 class locos for a while longer. Afterwards it was used to store condemned steam locos before their disposal but by the late 1960s, the building had been abandoned and all signs of the steam era had been removed. The 800 class locos survived the state railway takeover by the Commonwealth, but were later considered obsolete and scrappings took place from 1988 to 1994, leaving only 801 to enter the National Rail Museum in Port Adelaide. (Source: 800 Class Profile by Steve McNicol from Railmac Publications, visit http://www.railmac.com) Loco 801 (first entered service on 9th June 1956) is periodically used for shunting on the museum grounds from time to time and was eventually repainted back into its original 1950s SAR colors in 2013 as part of the Rail Museum's 50th Anniversary Celebrations. Later, the 'waistband' was added and the side lights were mounted on the end deck railings. More about this model: This model features a display stand, a 60th Anniversary commemorative plaque, two Railway Museum workers; Dale Patyi and Bob Sampson and it can either be equipped with either the English Electric 6-cylinder diesel engine (if you want it as a display model) or can be motorized with the optional Power Functions for play! Also, you can take off the roof to reveal the inner workings and (only if it's not motorized!) even put the crew inside! Does LEGO actually destroy their molds or not?

Can anyone actually confirm if LEGO destroys their old, unused molds or not? It's been allegedly stated that like, BIONICLE's old molds no longer exist but it'd be pretty stupid for LEGO to just destroy molds when they don't know what they'll need in the future, as well as be against the entire concept of LEGO to just permanently discontinue parts. I also remember when talking of the Ideas space suit thing being redesigned, they may have mentioned molds LEGO didn't have or use anymore.
