  2. This model was originally used with Mister Incredible from the LEGO Incredibles II video game, and was reverse engineered by a builder named @hachiroku. The instructions for the original version remade by that user are seen here. I first recreated the car in LDD from his video instructions and revised it a bit, especially in the paint job department. I gave it a more current Incredibles look, instead of the original dark azure with red dot on the hood. This was needed because LEGO hasn't made a prologue / glory days version of the Mister Incredible super suit and I wanted it to match perfectly. I consider the car to be a post-Incredibles II repainted version as it is shown to be back in the Parr family's ownership at the end of that film, yet it was still in the original paint scheme. The redone hood logo looks pretty good this way, don't you think? Flaming exhaust is able to be placed on the rear tailpipe. I also added a small spoiler to the rear just above the tailpipe, as it looked weird with nothing there. The inside controls with a bunch of dials / gauges and a steering wheel. The roof is easily removable because it isn't connected at the front of the car. I've also created a color-based enemy and his vehicle for Mister Incredible to fight, which you can see here in it's own thread. Comments, questions, and complaints welcome!
  3. Since Hero Factory first started, I wondered how it could be connected with Bionicle. My current theory is that, after Mata Nui became dormant again, the Agori and Matoran needed a solution to their problems. Glatorian were too weak, and Toa were too few. Over hundreds of years, technology advanced, space travel was harnessed and new planets were discovered. It was then that an enterprising young Agori by the name of Akiyama Makuro finally developed a factory capable of building new warriors, known as Heroes. Do you have a different theory? Post it below!

  6. Now I know that constraction is a thing that many people don't like, but where is it going to be in the future? The original Bionicle line did really well, and there seemed to be quite a following. Then Hero Factory came along and got less attention, but still did pretty well. It did last 4 years. Then comes Bionicle G2, something so many fans have been wanting to see for a long time. It comes out and it starts with a rocky road, but finds a stable ground. Then towards the end of 2015 massive clearances started to happen, most sets were 50% off. 2016 comes and already on Amazon you can see clearances happening, some stores, are not even caring the sets, and if they do there are not a lot of them. So where do you see the future of constraction going to? It seems to be headed on a downwards spiral, and the only real way I see of saving it is through advertising. Just, agh it is just weird to me because system has been going on a huge rise in the past few years, while constraction seems to be going in the opposite direction.
  7. Maurice of Greene, Prince of Brickwall, cousin to King Fernando Augusto VII, comes from a long line of military leaders of Eslandola, dating back two and a half centuries to Eslandola’s original break from Mardier. Although the signing of the Magna Charta by the king was looked upon with shock and horror by many in the Eslandolan nobility, it did not diminish Maurice’s love of country, and he answered the call when the most recent disagreement with Mardier boiled over into an actual shooting war. Maurice had followed in his forefathers’ footsteps, studying strategy and tactics at the Terreli Military Academy. While Eslandola had not truly seen war in more than a century, and as such the opportunity for military experience greatly limited, Maurice was viewed as one of Eslandola’s greatest military minds. It was Maurice that King Fernando Augusto turned to when planning his invasion of Oleon. The politics had been disastrous for the king, but those that had seen the military plans believed the invasion would have succeeded; Maurice’s plan was brilliant, but the world would never get to see that brilliance. And so, when Eslandola was forced to respond militarily to Mardier, it turned to the Prince of Brickwall. On March 31, 617, Maurice led more than a thousand men, including the prince’s own cavalry regiment, in a beach assault against La Puebloto, Mardier’s settlement at the mouth of the Lintili River on Isla de Victoria, a.k.a. Skaford Heights. The fighting was intense, and losses mounted on both sides as Eslandola’s forces failed to break the Mardierian line. In an effort to end the standoff, Maurice led his cavalry in a charge along the beach to out-flank the defenders. Mardierian musketeers and pikemen hurriedly extended their line to the sea and opened fire. The Prince’s regiment closed with the defenders quickly, and it was mayhem as shots were fired and horses fell. Maurice continued to lead the charge into the thin Mardierian defense. The Mardierian commander could see that his line would not be enough against the cavalry regiment… …but his men held their ground and took the charge… …and one musketeer found his mark, firing a shot through Maurice’s chest, mortally wounding the prince. But the cavalry charge was successful. They broke through the line and rolled up the Mardierian rear defenses. The Eslandolan infantry then broke through Mardier’s unsupported center, and the battle was won. Maurice’s death is a terrible loss to Eslandola, but his quick thinking and valour on the field of battle were the turning point in Eslandola’s victory over Mardier that day. The Prince of Brickwall is a shining example to all Eslandolan commanders, today and in the future. Close-up of Maurice receiving the fatal shot: Additional shots: Composition was inspired by a painting of a Thirty Years War battle. The fallen horse and launched rider was fun to pose, and I was happy with how the ice cream pieces worked for smoke from the muskets. The blood spray exiting the hero's back worked out ok, but not quite what I hoped. The color gradation of the water looks off, but I was going for a painting effect where the edges are feathered out. I'm happy with the marshy look of the beach. As always, all C&C welcome.

    [SR - CH5 B] Common Soldier

Skaford Heights - An Eslandola Battalion trying to land Eslandolans : "Arriba Eslandola !!!!! " Mardierians : "You're still carrion flesh" That's just the story of a soldier, who strongly believe in Eslandola... It was in front line for the landing... an honour. But a blunderbuss shot, took is left hand and severly damaged his arm few seconds after the start of the battle... He bravely continu the fight... ... killing some Mardierians... and then a gun battery started to fire, trying to reject Eslandolan to the sea, in a hellish din. The fight was a fierce battle, neat as a slaughtery. The beach was slowly depopulated. Near the end of the battle, a cannon ball blowed his legs off and he fall on the beach, his intestines, stomach, in a pool of blood. Before closing the eyes for good, he shot a last Mardierian defender, which was running death to the Eslandolan General... He was just a common soldier, proud of his country... C&C welcome, sorry for the bloody picture, but the subject was all about death...
  9. Hi everyone It has been a little while since I have posted anything, but I wanted to share my latest model with you. GoPro HERO Session Camera Dolly and Panning Rig This model is a dual purpose dolly and panning rig for a GoPro HERO Session camera. It uses a single chain to control both the linear movement of the camera (dolly) and/or the rotational movement of the camera (panning). My YouTube video explains how this works in detail: Please let me know what you think. PS. For other models that I haven't posted on Eurobricks, please check out my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/slfroden). Thanks
  10. My character for hero factory. I made one for each series, partly because through sheer luck, I selected blue as his main color and that always got used in the series itself, so I got lots of good parts. He started with a 2.0 style hero recon set. His power is energy absorption/redirection, hence the glowing armor. 1.0 Lightly modified 1.0 frame with a cool gun. I'm really happy with it, despite the simplicity 2.0 My Hero recon set, with minor alterations to compensate for the hero recon builder's limitations. 3.0 I saw stringers helmet and thought "predator!" right off the bat. So Radon 3.0 ended up being a predator homage with a spear, wrist blades, and shoulder cannon with independent tracking. Breakout Radon This guy has a space marine vibe, with 2 awesome weapons, and lots of armor. I didn't like the breakout/superhero torso much, so I stuck with the 2.0 chest. He has the newer hero core on his back as a backup Radon XL Brain Attack was where I started running out of steam, this guy is obviously a furno mod, but I liked that years furno alot. The cape is connected way better, sword is awesome, much cleaner, and condensed compared to furno A fun group shot. And I didn't forget Invasion from below: No mech, cause bionicle g2 became a thing (and now its gone)

    MOC. WATCHMEN

Hello... Just a MOC I had been planning to do for a long time. So I reserved a pair (well lots of pairs) of hours to do this. This is the end result: I'm happy with the overall shape and style but the inside is quite a mess so NO PICTURES will be posted until I get to work it out. I might just rearrange the structure to make it stronger. Playability will contain two machine guns that come out of flanks, top hatch with ladder, cockpits come ou to place pilot inside, living room... well sort of... heros need a place to drink their coffee and stuff... Hope you like this. More MOCs on my flickr - https://www.flickr.com/photos/79651650@N03/ Cheers
  16. You don't have to save the world to be a hero. Finding the Path follows the journey of a man as he attempts to avenge his mother's death. But when it comes time to fulfill his goal, he is faced with a choice: to do what is right, or what is easy... I hope you enjoy the film! Comments and constructive criticism are more than welcome!

    Jeanne D'Arc

Joan of Arc, nicknamed "The Maid of Orléans" (French: La Pucelle d'Orléans), is considered a heroine of France and a Roman Catholic saint. She was born to a peasant family at Domrémy in north-east France. Joan said she received visions of the Archangel Michael, Saint Margaret and Saint Catherine instructing her to support Charles VII and recover France from English domination late in the Hundred Years' War. The uncrowned King Charles VII sent Joan to the siege of Orléans as part of a relief mission. She gained prominence after the siege was lifted in only nine days. Several additional swift victories led to Charles VII's coronation at Reims. On 23 May 1430, she was captured at Compiègne by the allied English-Burgundian faction. She was later handed over to the English, and then put on trial by the pro-English Bishop of Beauvais Pierre Cauchon on a variety of charges. After Cauchon declared her guilty she was burned at the stake on 30 May 1431, dying at about nineteen years of age. (excerpt from wikipedia) images In this set is portrayed the escort provided to the dauphin to Orléans for his crowning. I've added some playability with the crashing tree - perfect for an english ambush. Let me know what you think Also this is posted in ideas.lego https://ideas.lego.com/projects/80187 and I'd appreciate your support

Pop pop ! Here comes an MOC I had forgotten for months. It's a Hero a friend and I designed back in Julk, which uses my DH entry's torso. Brickshelf / MOCPage Once again, comments and criticisms are appreciated. ;)
  23. Does anyone know why LEGO switched to bags for HF sets? Despite many fans whining about it they have been really tenacious and have not changed the design. Is it because of environmental/cost concerns or is there something else behind it?
  24. So a while ago( what was it, last year?) I had an idea, before the "Breakout" episode came out and the idea of a 'Villain Factory' wasn't so talked about in Hero Factory, I decided to build a drone 'prototype' for some bad guy army. Basically just wanted to use the canister-thing in the Nitroblast set as a helmet. It worked.. sort of.. and I went from there. Used some older 'Bionicle' parts on there as you can tell. The Skrall blade for an antennae, the Whenua Metru masks for the shoulder-pads(wish I'd done that better), and the Barraki feet. Mantax I think? I added the Hero Cuffs on later, once I'd gotten a hold of a Breakout set that included them. I think they were from Rocka's set. Man that was cool. It's been nearly a year since these were taken, but I wanted to share my creations anyway. Now that the computer is deciding to behave itself.. here they are! (I've resized the pics and for some reason they still keep coming out too big. Apologies in advance) Front: Back: Alongside Hero "Citrus" Using Citrus' cuffs against her I had a photo of "Citrus" on the ground after, but sadly it has been lost. And "Citrus" was your average Hero build with a foot on the back. Nothing special, but one of my favorites for some reason. Later, like December later, after "Breakout" had been released, I decided to get a little creative with my pieces. I looked at the Super Hero add-on part and thought 'hmm, what can I do with this?' So I did this: I hope I haven't posted this already! It's just a face with a mustache. And bling. Hope you enjoy, hopefully I'll have some new things to share(or new photos of new MOCs to share) very soon :)
