  1. Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks!
  2. Hey folks This is an animation that I created with my friend Alex to represent our duke of Edinburgh walk, we spent around 140hrs on making this film over the course of 7 weeks, using a mixture of Lego, plasticine and model grass and trees. Weve hidden over 50 different references to some of our favourite movie or tv shows throughout the movie. Hope you enjoy the movie
  3. The brotherhood of the forest bulls roam through the countryside and forests of the cool South. Here on this hills, a throw wide to the nine realms, the elder brother Edmat decided to pose and if them the environment is inclined to build a place to live. A lot of time before the onrushing winter does not remain .... Anyway, the guys around certainly going to enjoy the forest bulls. Whether they dereint also belong to the Brotherhood? -------------------------------------- I built this MOC some time ago and presented it first at imperiumdersteine.de and now here for all non german speking FOL!
  4. I took my last castle build and made some major changes. I added a drawbridge and put a moat around the castle. I changed the keep, and added a nice looking library/ tower. Added a market village inside the walls as well. And made the dark forest outside the castle with a watch tower. The first picture was an entry for summer joust. The rest of the castle follows, I probably should have put minifigures in the pics, but i always like to take pics without the minis so you can see more detail and not be distracted. 5. Okay this is another free build, I've made, my second actually, so I hope you all like it! Here it is: Deep in the swamplands of Nocturnus, was a treehouse built from two trees. The treehouse over looked small road used only by a few merchants who wished to shave time off their trade route. Inside were two croc warriors. Suddenly running up the road was a third croc warrior. He ran over to the tree house and scrambled up the ladder. “What is it?” Demanded the leader of the croc warriors. “A merchant wagon is coming! Two guards! They’ll be here ANY minute!” “Finally! Get to your posts!” barked the leader. The other two warriors scrambled down the ladder and concealed themselves in the swamp. The crocs watched silently as the wagon came nearer. Just as it passed the tree house the leader croc dropped a log held by who chains, it swung through the hole in the tree house floor and slammed into the wagon knocking it and the guard walking next to it into the swamp. The crocs in the swamp leapt out and attacked! The leader scrambled down the ladder and attacked the last guard, quickly killing him. Soon all the merchants were dead, and the crocs set about looting the half submerged wagon. Okay that's it hope you all liked it! Please feel free to leave any compliments and/or criticism.
  6. Hello! This is my first MOC, created a few months ago using LDD. The idea is an adventuring party has set up camp for the night, and while the members make their preparations for the journey ahead, the bard plays by the fire to entertain them. I hope to build this scene "in the brick" one day, and I know there are several things I want to change already. But what I'd love is to hear from some of the expert MOCers here on ideas to improve. Please, feel free to rip it to shreds - you can't hurt my feelings. I'm just looking for ways to improve my skills. Thanks in advance everyone! A fiery Bandit (Free Build)

Okay first off, this is my first Free Build, my first build for Historica period. So it might not be amazing but I don't think it's terrible. Constructive Criticism is appreciated. It features my character Dorshov the wizard, And yeah, on to the story: The wind rustled through the trees in one of the dense forests in Nocturnus. Step step clack, step step clack. The rhythmic sounds of foot steps and a walking stick echoed through the trees. An old man rounded the bend and started for the small bridge that spanned the small gorge cut by the creek that it surrounded. Ahead of him, on the opposite bank hidden behind a tree was a lone bandit. From his hiding place, he stared covetously at the large red jewel at the tip of the old mans walking stick. . As the old man stepped onto the bridge the bandit leapt out from his hiding place and charged forward! The old man (Dorshov), raised his staff and cried out a guttural word. And fire blasted from his staff, and the bandit screamed as he was consumed by fire.As the bandit crumbled to ash, Dorshov resumed his journey leaving the a mound of ash and a sword behind... finis (that's Latin for finish or end) As I said already compliments and criticism is welcome, thank you for taking the time to look at this. As requested I have added pictures of the entire build.
  8. After several requests, I have made an MOC of a Sherwood camp, including Friar Tuck and his faithful dogs, Marian, and another member of the Merry Men roasting a fish. The MOC includes: A hut covered in vegetation, with loopholes on the sides for archers, a table for eating using gold dishes, plenty of food in barrels and crates, and some tools and cooking utensils on the wall A campfire surrounded by rocks and places to sit, with a fish rack and a bipod for making stew The target, conveniently "borrowed" from the tournament grounds, with which Robin Hood split his opponent's arrow Three minifigures, as mentioned above: Friar Tuck, Marian, and another member of the Merry Men roasting a fish over the fire. Since Friar Tuck is such a difficult minifigure to design with existing Lego pieces, I decided to give him his characteristic look using a yellow sticker over the bowl cut hair piece (after deciding that painting made the hair indentations even more conspicuous). He is accompanied by his trusty dogs. You can see better pictures of the camp on Flickr at https://www.flickr.c...157659507712026. This is also a project on Lego Ideas if you like it enough to support it or share it: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/119057 I have always wanted to portray Robin Hood through Lego bricks. I hope you like it, and if not practical suggestions are always welcome!
  9. Recently three GoH members (Myself, I Scream Clone and Frumpy) collaborated together on a build for a local Sydney show. Shadow Woods 06 by Dr. Rod, on Flickr The left side is by I Scream Clone, the forest by myself and the right side by Frumpy. The diorama shows a Nocturnus and Avalonian castle, separated by the "Shadowpath Forest". Location is the North west corner of Nocturnus, in the foothills of the Rakath Mountains. Will link to more detailed photos when available. Shadow Woods 03 by Dr. Rod, on Flickr Dr Rod
  10. Location: H06 - Farmolis Tags: vehicle, land vehicle, exploration --Weekly Explorer's Transmission-- --Log of Eagle-Eye Silver-- --28 Septembrinali 3815-- Mr. LaRose called me back home to Farmolis to test a new toy speeder. The new model of the high speed Super Swiftsure! Zipping through the forests and plains of the Farmolis wilderness, I put the Mk. 2 through its paces. It’s not all that maneuverable really, but in a straight line on a chilly, low humidity day this speeder will approach 500 kph with a tail wind. While none of the Swiftsures—much less the “Super” models—have much in the way of cargo space for actual exploration gear and sensors, due to their range and speed, I told Jacques that the Super Swiftsure Mk. 2 ought to be standard issue for scouting missions on suitable planets to map potential points of interest for follow-up with more scientifically equipped explorers. --End-- C&C is always welcome!

    [MOC] Rodgenhale Forest Abode

Somewhere in the tranquil swamp forests of Rodgenhale... This build was inspired by the background picture, taken a while back by me with my cellphone on a retreat I attended. Since taking the photo, I had this idea for a medieval house on stilts to be situated in the emerald green water. You might notice that some of the bricks seem to be "cut off;" this was done to create the effect of the supports and stairs being partially submerged in the water. Yet another medieval build for me; although it has been a while since I've last dabbled in a medieval MOC, I have rediscovered the joy of adding all sorts of little details and trinkets to a build, and so I will soon begin working on a MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger medieval build...

    [MOC] Troll's bridge

Hi, this build is my way of trying out different tree building techniques as well as doing something with that minifigure (and justifying the purchase :P). Some say it's a gnome, but let's settle for troll for this build. I used water technique I tried out in my previous MOC here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=111354. I am particularly happy about the foliage right next to the river (and the carrot top usage :) ) I hope you'll enjoy this one. Full gallery is here: http://bricksafe.com...i/trolls-bridge
  13. I just finished my second MOC revolving around Robin Hood, about Little John. This set includes a variety of Robin Hood-esque features and accessories, and 8 minifigs. Any feedback is much appreciated. This set is also a project on Lego Ideas, where you can read more details about the MOC: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/109893. I also figured this MOC could bring up some interesting discussions about BURPs and raised baseplates :) I have posted a few pics below. You can see these and other pics in higher res on Flickr: https://www.flickr.c...157655406990588
  14. Here is my third MOC revolving around Robin Hood. This one is about Marian, and is a lot smaller than the first two. This set includes Marian, Wat O' the Crabstaff, and Prince John. Any feedback is much appreciated. This set is also a project on Lego Ideas, where you can read more details about the MOC: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/110035. I have posted a few pics below. 15. Hello All! Been a while since I posted here, I have been very busy as of late. But I am back to MOCing again, and can't wait to get back to into GoH and regular MOCing. :) Here is my latest build, built for a collaboration for BrickWorld 2015. Enjoy! Robin Hood - The Merry Hunter My contribution to the Brick-Time Stories Collaborative at BW 2015. One of two Robin Hood creations for the collaboration. Eight builders, including Max Pointner, Ian Spacek, Matthew Oh, Lee Muzzy, Daniel Church, Ben Merrill, and Casey McCoy each built a scene from a children's picture book or novel. The scenes were constructed on bases made to look like books, and were arranged into a veritable library of illustrations at the expo. This creation portrays the classic Robin Hood robbery in the forest. I had tons of fun building this creation, I experimented with a very Mark Erickson style landscaping, and Erickson brothers' trees. :) Gotta love the Ericksons! :D To make it more artistic, I shaped the landscape that is popping out of the book in the shape of a bow. Thanks for viewing, and don't forget to check out the other creations of the collaborative! l Display OverviewSoli Deo Gloria! ~Matthew~
  16. After building the SRV-1 and Imperial Troop Transport, I wanted to keep going and decided to start building the Kenner Mini-Rigs from the 80's. There were 9 of these total. This one and the Desert Sail Skiff didn't have numbers. The other 7 were numbered 2-8. For some reason, 1 was missing. HJR, do you know why?! The Endor Forest Ranger is cool little speeder. It featured an enclosed gyroscopic cockpit and 2 large blaster cannons. It has a very militaristic vibe to it, it looks mean, like something out of a Stormtroopers worst nightmare. Anyways, this is my take on it, it can hold a figure in the cockpit and the gyroscopic cockpit does turn. There is an axel running through the middle of the model. The hockey puck shape of the front was a pain to build. I had to try to make it hold a figure, but, small enough that it kept feel of the original. After building that, the rest was easy, but, it determined the "scale" for the model. Yes, I know the color is off, but, it is cheaper to build in grays. Plus there are more pieces/ parts available in grays than reddish browns and greens. There are 237 pieces in this model. The .lxf file is my Brickshelf folder. Hope you like, more to come tomorrow, Jamie

    [O - G07] Water Pump

Location: G07 - Hennigan II Tags: civil, exploration Terrain: Forest Start of transmission #02. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Finally, I'm on Hennigan II. Although Livgorn mission was a success for Octan Corporation, and we were able to establish a permanent presence there, most of us had left sector H05 towards new explorations. First missions on G07 reported huge water deposits under this forest. Need to install these pumping machines now and then connect them all to central station. And I hope I won't see these butterflies Jacques LaRose mentioned in his report. Or even better, they won't see me... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- End of transmission #02. 18. Next Chapter: The Tomb of Dar Askelohn Aeldric and Voraal usually took a circular patrol around the outskirts of Vanhorn, but this time they decided to take a different route. They traveled straight out west, on an old and forgotten road. They came across an old, ruined, and abandoned house which seemingly belonged to a Citizen of Avalonia. Though it wasn't necessarily abandoned, for the remains off the owner laid in a corner. Voraal peeked down a deep, dark hole in the flooring. He suggested to Aeldric that they explored it, for it seemed deep, and as if it held secrets down below. More Angles Below: The hole in the flooring: And the forests: I tried out a couple of different techniques for mini-trees here. The triple round 1x1 brick, and the dark-brown telescope.

You don't even have to walk on your way back from the store. You only have to get out of chair once, and that's now. [MOC] Walking Chair by Bert.VR, on Flickr Or maybe it's just my latest alternate model... An entry for the Bricklink vehicle alternate competition, I wanted to do something different and worked with a non-vehicle set: 31019 Forest Animals. No wheels, no windscreens, no wings... it brings your creativity out. My main goal was to make it a pleasing model, and I think I succeded by using the curved bricks to their maximum and keeping the colors reasonably separated. The details aren't absent, with some engine greebles, controls, and an umbrella. And please forgive my silliness with this presentation. But the model ended up looking classy enough to inspire this Nespresso-esque style of 'advertizing'. I hope you enjoy my model. If you do, and if you want to build it yourself, visit Rebrickable. They also have a lot of alternate models. And don't forget to check out what amazing models my fellow-contestants came up with for the Bricklink MOC competition! Do more with your sets!
  20. Tree houses are fun to design, aren't they?
  21. A Failed Insurgency After the Ulandians occupied the Nestlands, insurgencies began popping up in an attempt by the locals to regain their land. After the Ulandians blocked an essential trade road in a dense forest in the region, a small group of cloaked local fighters attempted to retake the road. Unfortunately for them, the Ulandian fighting force guarding the route was prepared, and after a quick and one-sided battle, the guards were able to drive off the attackers. The Ulandians hold off the Nestlanders. An overhead shot of the skirmish.
  22. Conclusion: Hatchet, Axe and Saw There is unrest in the forest There is trouble with the trees For the Maples want more sunlight And the Oaks ignore their pleas The trouble with the Maples (And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the Oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light But the Oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made And they wonder why the Maples Can't be happy in their shade There is trouble in the forest And the creatures all have fled As the Maples scream 'Oppression!' And the Oaks just shake their heads So the Maples formed a union And demanded equal rights 'The Oaks are just too greedy We will make them give us light' Now there's no more Oak oppression For they passed a noble law And the trees are all kept equal By hatchet, axe and saw The humans enter the depleted forest of Galidor. Mr Big Chief continues speaking: “… So you boys know what to do now, right?” Walter, Burt and Ernie reply in unison, “Yes Boss!” Then all four start to work. It is hard work, as the Alder is the largest tree in the forest. But eventually it begins to fall… As if in slow motion, Alden falls, as if trying to delay the inevitable as long as possible… Until finally the Elder’s massive bulk crashes to the forest floor, like so many of his brethren. Walter suddenly shouts out, “Look! I could have sworn this was a sycamore tree a minute ago. But now it clearly is an Oak.” Burt looks around and notices a similar pattern. “And this Maple. I was sure it was a sassafras.” Mr. Big Chief sounds a bit puzzled. “I see most of the stumps also belonged to Oaks. But for some reason this Persimmon tree is still a persimmon. I wonder why that is? “Ah well, not for us to question. Let’s continue our work, boys.” Then Sammy Sycamore felt the harsh bite of the saw… And finally Lassie Sassafras gets the keen taste of an axe. When the sun rises on a new day, Simon finally gets what he always wanted: the forest to himself. Congratulations to the Winners of Unrest in the Forest: The Maples! fhomess, Bob, mostlytechnic, badboytje88, jluck and Brickelodeon. And also, congratulations to the other winner, the Neutral Serial Killer, Hinckley! I thought it was a good game all around. It was possible for all three factions to win coming into Day 8, always a good thing. My initial thought when putting this game together was to make the Tree Stump, always sort of a joke role, into something powerful. I really thought that this could be overpowered on the Town side, so I tried to make the Scum powerful and well hidden. I also weakened the Town at the same time. I don’t know that I achieved a real balance (really, how could you balance up to 15 Town Tree Stumps giving their opinions?), but I think it was fairly close. Here are the players, the role names I gave them, and their traditional role names. The Serial Killer: Simon Persimmon, played by Hinckley – Neutral – Nihilist (Serial Killer, Bulletproof x3) The Oaks: Elder Alden Alder, NPC Lauren Laurel, played by PirateDave84 – Felled Night 1 – Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Buck “Dollar” Poplar, played by Mencot – Felled Night 1 - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Catarina Dogwood, played by adventurer1 – Lynched Day 2 - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Agnes Cyprus, played by JackJonesPaw – Felled Night 2 – Oak – Harmonizer (Jailkeeper) Vicky Hickory, played by Stickfig – Felled Night 2 – Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Larry Larch, played by TheLazyChicken – Lynched Day 3 - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Clem Elm, played by Scaevola – Felled Night 3 – Oak – Heightened Senses (Cop) Bobby Beech, played by Lord Duvors – Felled Night 3 - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Hazel Hazelnut, played by Goliath – Lynched Day 4 – Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Maggie Magnolia, played by Calanon – Felled Night 4 – Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Waldorf Walnut, played by jamesn – Felled Night 4 – Oak – Heightened Senses (Naïve Cop) Berty Birch, played by Dragonfire – Lynched Day 5 – Oak – Guilty Conscience (Miller) Chester Chestnut, played by Lego Spy – Felled Night 5 – Oak – Hidden Spikes (Bomb) Nash Ash, played by Zepher – Felled Night 5 – Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) William Willow, played by Scubacarrot – Felled Night 6 – Oak – Holy Tree (Super-Saint) Bruce Spruce, played by Tamamono – Felled Night 6 - Oak - Vigilante Adelaide Apple, played by TinyPiesRUs – Lynched Day 7 - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) Sammy Sycamore, played by Fugazi – Felled in Conclusion - Oak – Garden Variety Oak (Vanilla) The Maples: Lassie Sassafras, played by fhomess – Felled in Conclusion - Maple – Maple Leader (Godfather) Alastair Pear, played by Brickelodeon – Lynched Day 1 – Maple – Chameleon Bark (Traitor) Barry Cherry, played by jluck – Felled Night 3 – Maple - Goon Peter Cedar, played by badboytje88 – Felled Night 5 – Maple - Goon Jack Pine, played by mostlytechnic – Lynched Day 6 – Maple – Stump Remover (Janitor x4) Sue Sumac, played by Bob – Felled Night 7 - Maple – Scent Mask (Framer / Tailor) And now, for the ever popular list of Night Actions: Night 1: Scaevola – Investigate Tamamono. Success Night 7: Hinckley – Kill Bob. Success fhomess – Recall Traitor. Unsuccessful (Brickelodeon is dead) Bob – Kill Hinckley. Unsuccessful (Bulletproof) Some more notes. Hinckley had an enormous stroke of luck when he was investigated by a role that only gives Town responses. This game turns out far different if Scaevola and jamesn switch their targets Night 1. Also, I thought the Serial Killer hiding his action by targeting the same target as the Vig was brilliant. A nice trick for a SK, if you can get the Vig to trust you early. It actually helped the Oaks quite a bit, keeping the body count overnight low. The Maples might have romped home quickly without that help. Just to clear up some of the mysteries: Brickelodeon was Janitored (and was never going to come back), Goliath was an Oak, and badboytje88 was Bombed. And the killing actions were completely random. I didn’t even pay attention to which human was used when trees were cut down. All of the roles were randomly assigned as well. No hints in the sizes of the trees, either. If Scubacarrot had been lynched, the pictures would have shown the humans cutting the wrong tree down (the hammer voter), then cutting Scuba’s tree down in embarrassment. There was so much suspicion swirling about all of the Maples. mostlytechnic, fhomess and Bob all had fingers pointed at them for very valid reasons, and yet it was an unfortunate coincidence that led to mostly’s lynch (blocked on a night where the SK and Vig targeted the same player). Then there were the codes. The codes were brilliant, and a direction I didn’t foresee this game going. It might have been an issue, if the scum hadn’t embraced it and made it so overly complicated that they wouldn’t work well. Hinckley and his Stump-mates managed to get it right. Too bad Hinckley didn't really care for the Oaks. I just wanted to say I had a blast hosting this game, and I hope all of the players had a good time. My biggest disappointment was Goliath PMing his Role PM to a Stump, and the near chaos it caused. I think I know how it happened. Goliath was in the Dead PM with Maples who still were reading the Scumboards. The plan was to janitor Dragonfire the night he was lynched. Goliath likely thought Dragonfire was about to join them on the Dead PM. Unfortunately, badboytje88 killed the Bomb the same night. The Janitor target changed, and Goliath never got the message (or had already sent the PM). I was also disappointed with how a Stumpy Dragonfire responded to it. He PM’d me for guidance, I told he couldn’t use it, or if he had to say something about it, don’t say anything definitive. Instead he comes out and says “Goliath was 100% Oak.” There’s nothing definitive in that statement. Then there was the fiasco called Day 8. I sent the three remaining players PMs, giving them all possible combinations of players and how they could win with each of those scenarios. May intent was for all three of them to understand what they were looking for so that they could win. But I mis-worded Fugazi’s PM, and things quickly spiraled out of control. But overall I am happy with how things turned out. I’d like to receive feedback on how I did as a host, this being my first time and all. If it’s mostly positive, maybe I should do a sequel: Unrest in the Forest 2: Revenge of the Fallen.
  23. It is midday in the Forest of Galidor, and the loggers from the nearby village are busy eating lunch. Burt is enjoying a hot cup of joe, while Ernie eats the sandwich his wife made for him. Meanwhile, Walter is busy looking at a map of the forest, when something he sees strikes him as odd. "Mr Big Chief, can you take a look at this?" Walter asks. "Of course, Walter. What is it?" "We've taken trees from all over this forest, with the exception of this area right here" Walter says, pointing to a spot on the map. "Ah, yes. Take a look with these binoculars." Mr Big Chief hands the binoculars to Walter as he begins to explain: "We've tried sending men into that section time after time, and whenever they get close, they suddenly get disoriented and wander the wrong direction. Every time. Most of us oldsters think that part of the wood is haunted, or perhaps magical. The trees there do seem bigger and stronger than most," Mr Big Chief explains. "But it seems that is about to change. See, I received this note this morning, and it says that we will be allowed into that area tonight, but we may only take one specific tree, which will be pointed out to us later..." The Rules, by which we shall play: 1. Each player will be given a character to play. That character will be aligned with either the Oaks or the Maples. To win the game, the Oaks must lynch or kill off all of the Maples, while the Maplesneed to outnumber the Oaks. Any Third Party characters will have their own win conditions. 2. Each day will be played out in its own topic. During the day you will be able to vote to expel (lynch) a player. Voting must be done in the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format: Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to expel (lynch) a player, meaning that over half of the remaining players must vote for the same player to warrant a lynch. 3. A game day will last for 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end after those 72 hours. After the day has concluded, a night will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of nighttime. You may not post about the game openly on Eurobricks during that time (but may continue to use private messages). 4. 24. Day 8: Moving Pictures There is unrest in the forest There is trouble with the trees For the Maples want more sunlight And the Oaks ignore their pleas The trouble with the Maples (And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the Oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light But the Oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made And they wonder why the Maples Can't be happy in their shade There is trouble in the forest And the creatures all have fled As the Maples scream 'Oppression!' And the Oaks just shake their heads So the Maples formed a union And demanded equal rights 'The Oaks are just too greedy We will make them give us light' Now there's no more Oak oppression For they passed a noble law Night returns to Galidor, and the few remaining trees wonder who will be next. One of them doesn’t have to wonder. Burt and Ernie come up to Adelaide Apple and start to work. The job is swift and merciful, and Adelaide falls. Mr Big Chief approaches another tree. The end comes quickly to Sue Sumac. Ernie approaches a third tree. “What a beautiful tree,” he says. “I just can’t bring myself to chop this tree down.” And so Simon Persimmon survives to see another day. Dawn breaks, and Alden rouses the three trees that are left. “Last night I saw visions of trees being chopped. Pictures moving through my head, showing me absolute desolation. I was certain it meant the end of Galidor. “Then I awoke to this new day, and lo and behold, only two trees met their fate during the night. What’s more, Sue Sumac was a Maple. Excellent work, my friends. “Unfortunately, you did not choose wisely in your voting. Adelaide was very much an Oak, as she repeatedly told you yesterday. “I would not be surprised if today isn’t the last day of this ordeal. Choose well, the survival of Galidor is on your shoulders. “Addendum: As there are only three players left, I am going to change up the voting a bit for Day 8. Voting will be opened immediately. The day will last a maximum of 72 hours. There will be no Unvoting. Once all three players have voted, or a consensus lynch has been achieved (i.e. two votes for one player), Day 8 will end. “The result of the Lynch will determine the winners. If 72 hours expire and no lynch has been achieved, then Night Actions will determine the winners. “Take your time, do your behind-the-scenes jockeying, and think carefully about where your vote belongs. Remember, once you vote, it is final.” The NPCs: Elder Alden Alder Burt Ernie Mr Big Chief Walter The Players: Lassie Sassafras, played by fhomess Sammy Sycamore, played by Fugazi Simon Persimmon, played by Hinckley The Fallen: Alastair Pear, played by Brickelodeon – Lynched Day 1 – Alignment Unknown Lauren Laurel, played by PirateDave84 – Felled Night 1 – Oak Buck “Dollar” Poplar, played by Mencot – Felled Night 1 - Oak Catarina Dogwood, played by adventurer1 – Lynched Day 2 - Oak Agnes Cyprus, played by JackJonesPaw – Felled Night 2 - Oak Vicky Hickory, played by Stickfig – Felled Night 2 – Oak Larry Larch, played by TheLazyChicken – Lynched Day 3 - Oak Clem Elm, played by Scaevola – Felled Night 3 – Oak Bobby Beech, played by Lord Duvors – Felled Night 3 - Oak Barry Cherry, played by jluck – Felled Night 3 – Alignment Unknown Hazel Hazelnut, played by Goliath – Lynched Day 4 – Alignment Unknown Maggie Magnolia, played by Calanon – Felled Night 4 – Oak Waldorf Walnut, played by jamesn – Felled Night 4 – Oak Berty Birch, played by Dragonfire – Lynched Day 5 – Oak Nash Ash, played by Zepher – Felled Night 5 – Oak Chester Chestnut, played by Lego Spy – Felled Night 5 – Oak Peter Cedar, played by badboytje88 – Felled Night 5 – Alignment Unknown Jack Pine, played by mostlytechnic – Lynched Day 6 - Maple William Willow, played by Scubacarrot – Felled Night 6 – Oak Bruce Spruce, played by Tamamono – Felled Night 6 – Oak Adelaide Apple, played by TinyPiesRUs – Lynched Day 7 – Oak Sue Sumac, played by Bob – Felled Night 7 - Maple The Rules, by which we shall play: 1. Each player will be given a character to play. That character will be aligned with either the Oaks or the Maples. 25. Day 7: Permanent Waves There is unrest in the forest There is trouble with the trees For the Maples want more sunlight And the Oaks ignore their pleas The trouble with the Maples (And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the Oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light But the Oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made And they wonder why the Maples Can't be happy in their shade There is trouble in the forest And the creatures all have fled As the Maples scream 'Oppression!' And the Oaks just shake their heads So the Maples formed a union And demanded equal rights 'The Oaks are just too greedy We will make them give us light' Night comes for the sixth time to the Forest Clearing of Galidor. The all too familiar hum of the generators and thwacks of axe falls soon fills the air. Mr Big Chief begins his night by taking down one of the smallest remaining trees. It is not difficult, and soon Jack Pine lies on the forest floor. Since he is in the area, Mr Big Chief tackles the next tree, which is a bit more substantial. It isn’t long before William Willow joins his bretheren in the stumpy afterlife. Meanwhile Burt and Ernie go to work on a decent sized tree. They watch, satisfied, as Bruce Spruce crashes to the ground. The following morning, Alden the Elder Alder speaks to the diminished forest. “Ahh, feel the wind blowing through your leaves. Strange thing, the wind, almost like a semi-permanent wave, always there, but changing form.” The remaining trees aren’t sure what to make of the Alder’s sudden, philosophical tangent. “I have good news and I have bad news,” he continues. “Bad news first. We lost two good trees last night. Bruce Spruce and William Willow were both Oaks.” “However, there is good news. Jack Pine was decidedly a Maple, just as you suspected. “There is still hope. You found one Maple, you can find the rest. Go to it.” The NPCs: Elder Alden Alder Burt Ernie Mr Big Chief Walter The Players: Adelaide Apple, played by TinyPiesRUs Lassie Sassafras, played by fhomess Sammy Sycamore, played by Fugazi Simon Persimmon, played by Hinckley Sue Sumac, played by Bob The Fallen: Alastair Pear, played by Brickelodeon – Lynched Day 1 – Alignment Unknown Lauren Laurel, played by PirateDave84 – Felled Night 1 – Oak Buck “Dollar” Poplar, played by Mencot – Felled Night 1 - Oak Catarina Dogwood, played by adventurer1 – Lynched Day 2 - Oak Agnes Cyprus, played by JackJonesPaw – Felled Night 2 - Oak Vicky Hickory, played by Stickfig – Felled Night 2 – Oak Larry Larch, played by TheLazyChicken – Lynched Day 3 - Oak Clem Elm, played by Scaevola – Felled Night 3 – Oak Bobby Beech, played by Lord Duvors – Felled Night 3 - Oak Barry Cherry, played by jluck – Felled Night 3 – Alignment Unknown Hazel Hazelnut, played by Goliath – Lynched Day 4 – Alignment Unknown Maggie Magnolia, played by Calanon – Felled Night 4 – Oak Waldorf Walnut, played by jamesn – Felled Night 4 – Oak Berty Birch, played by Dragonfire – Lynched Day 5 – Oak Nash Ash, played by Zepher – Felled Night 5 – Oak Chester Chestnut, played by Lego Spy – Felled Night 5 – Oak Peter Cedar, played by badboytje88 – Felled Night 5 – Alignment Unknown Jack Pine, played by mostlytechnic – Lynched Day 6 - Maple William Willow, played by Scubacarrot – Felled Night 6 – Oak Bruce Spruce, played by Tamamono – Felled Night 6 - Oak The Rules, by which we shall play: 1.
