Small fighter initially developed by Axos for Yaegers during Xion Wars, with some of the wrecked spacecraft rebuilt and modified by the Terra Confederation. Presented version was developed for Yaeger 03. Technical specifications: Power core - Zirum Crystal based, based off leftover Aeromi technology adapted to human tech. While Axos used exclusively stabilised crystals in all tech, the Terra Confederation used artificially enhanced crystals in their modified fighters. Engines - 3 thrusters capable of propelling the Viper to a (factory limited) max speed of 200000 km/s in space. forward-facing thrusters are used for braking. Weaponry - wide range of customisation depending on Yaeger. 03's version had 4 swappable fuselage-mounted barrel guns and 2 swappable wing cannons as well as missiles. Refractor and shield-breakers were installed along with un-disclosed tech. Lore over (for now). This model was an accident most of it's development - it started out during the dissasembly of "Bugeye" , when the 3D panels were placed back to back. The fiting placement of bionicle chestplate as rear part of tail was a pleasant surprise. The Technic looks are missing Technic functionality (only cabin is openable, the main thruster does not rotate for VTOL mode...) but not too shabby in the end. It is my second try at creating a model the way Lego does but at the same time being as sleek and faithful to original as possible. It is not a 100% MOC, because it incorporates some basic structure techniques of 75101 mixed with 75211. 759 pieces plus 56 for a display stand. Probably the closest the humankind has ever gotten to an irl starfighter. Not a fan of white, but unfortunately that is the dominant color of my panels (wonder why). Heavely basing myself off the Sukhoi SU47 "Berkut" with the angled double tail and FS wings, as starfighters are banned. Started off witht rear part as imo these Mars Mission wheels resemble jet exhausts. Most probably will include basic aileron controls , not so sure about the rudder(s) Maybe a third vertical stabiliser to kick it off? current progress: -

And it's here! After an hour of hard work (not really) I present to you a Tie Interceptor!!! Made out of only the bricks from 75211 with 8 pieces to spare. Here is a pilot for scale Edit: The 2 light bley 1x6 tiles aren't part of the set The wing connections are very sturdy but the sharp pointed panels aren't really. Any suggestions? I wanted to build a long time something for the Unitron series. The Star Hawk II was a great model and a few months ago I got the idea to build my own version of it. The Unitron, Intergalactic Strike Force, was organized to deal with the Spyrius, who were rogues of the Blacktron Future Generation. After many searches, battles and many losses the Unitron was disbanded and the Space Police was reorganized. Now the Black Hole Gang is causing trouble in the galaxy and the police force is not enough to stop them. A pilot, who has lost a ship and a lot of money, has found a graveyard of old ships and fighters and build a fighter for himself. He called it: Next Generation Star Hawk. Swoosh. Meet the AS7 Kestrel, the latest model of variable-environment fightercraft from Studberg Aerospace! The basic idea behind this was to create a small, fast and maneuverable fighter with a modular weapon system that packs a huge punch for its size. It's also highly customizable in theory, as those weapons are modular and can be swapped out, and most of the white and red parts are available in a variety of other colors. The two topside guns (which can swivel to face the rear, making the Kestrel deadly in dogfights) were actually the very first part I designed, then those sat around for a while while I worked out something to put them on. Most iterations were small-ish fighters inspired by similarly-sized Star Wars ships. Some of that can still be seen in the finished product, in particular the V-Wing (which I had the older set of as a kid). Bit of a Star Fox Arwing in there, too. On that note, it does look like something out of a shmup game, doesn't it? Bottom, with retracted landing gear and three VTOL thrusters visible. Initially I wanted to have it attach to a sort of launch rail (idea being that's how it would take off and land) but didn't have the pieces to do that how I wanted. Weapons removed! A lot sleeker, but it loses a bit of personality. Well, that and it's totally defenseless now. That was stupid. . As mentioned prior, weapons can also be switched around or possibly replaced with entirely new ones if the need arises. Here's a lighter-weight arrangement without missiles and the guns mounted beneath the wings in their place. Cockpit detail! I try to fill out cockpits like this whenever possible, because lone control sticks and single control panels (like you typically see in official sets...) bug me and strain my suspension of disbelief somewhat, especially in something as complex as a spacecraft. There should be a ton of buttons and switches and tech-y things! That's all for now! I leave you with our hotshot pilot and a link to the full gallery here.

Hi! I'm working on a new cockpit canopy and wonder if this is something people would buy. I've been building fighter jets for many years now. However for a long time the cockpit canopy isn't the best for the different ways it works in reality. Brick 30384 and 92279 So I've been doing a 3d model of them and they have now been printed. Working with a plastic company to get a prototyp. So the pices are made to fit most of the "modern" fighter jet canopy. Like F18, F14 etc. So first you have a shorted 30384 that will remain fixed on the aircraft, like F18. And a extended 92279 by 3 studs that will be the canopy that opens and closes. Another version (not printed) is the F16 version canopy. So my question for you guys are. Is this something of interest? They would be made as close to lego's as possible. Hello Guys ! I show you my MOC of the TIE Fighter with the STARWARS REBELS Design. I'm inspired by the awesome "TIE Fighters short film" on YouTube too. I'm trying to be the more "accurate" I can! I'm proud of my cockpit design which has a very good shape! :) I regret just a small space between the canopy and the rest of the cockpit. Moreover, the panels ("wings") are relatively heavy for the structure. The consequence is this creation is NOT for playing! Because the structure is a little bit too fragile for that! If you are interested, I sell the building instructions (PDF + Partlist.xls) 5 euros. I have to finish these instructions. Recently I've been building all of the tie variants. After a long series of delays( bad design, wrong proportions, narrow body and the occasional missing parts), the entire collection is almost ready! Some are undergoing remodeling and will be ready soon! Currently, I don't have enough parts and they are only in LDD models. these below are the canon tie variants the tie fighter the tie interceptor the tie bomber the bomb bay the tie defender tie boarding shuttle(with landing gear) coming up are most of the legends tie variants.( Still building some!) the tie VIP shuttle tie aggressor tie avenger tie sentinel coming soon tie oppressor tie interdictor tie heavy bomber royal guard tie interceptor and here are the tie experimentals tie experimental M1 tie experimental M2 tie experimental M3 coming soon tie experimental M4 coming soon tie experimental M5 And that's all of them! Let me know if i missed any tie model in the imperial navy(not the Astragon navy) below. Hope you all will appreciate the work I've done here! (Although I used the first order tie fighter for the M2 and tie fighter with minor edits and as the cockpit base for the fighters without hyperdrives) For the mini fighters(compatible with 75106 assault carrier), I will post them soon!

Neo Nexus Force (LU + SW star ship) Creative One (8095 and 7565 MOD)

NOTE: I have no plans on building this IRL for now, it was just for fun to pass the time. If you want the original Star wars version, see here. This model is a combination of the best parts of sets 8095 and 7565 (both of the sets mentioned are called General Grievous’ Starfighter.) but rendered in orange and white for the Neo Nexus Force. As such, this logo here goes on the nose of the craft. Background info: The ship's name in the Star Wars universe is the "Soulless One", and is General Grievous’ personal vessel in Episode 3 and both the Clone Wars cartoon and mini-series until his death at the hands of a Obi Wan Kenobi, who then "borrowed" the ship and later abandoned it. The ship was later found on a junkyard asteroid by Neo Nexus Force leader Bob, who gave a new paint job to the vessel and rechristened it "Creative One". It serves as Bob's private space vessel when on solo missions and also when the star cruisers Bright Hope and Bright Future are not needed. The ship features a slide open cockpit, which comes with a flight computer. The ship defends itself with four laser cannons mounted near the front by the wings, two per side. I heavily modified the tail, wings, and underside to attach better to the rest of the ship. Also, in case anyone is wondering, the wings and mostly from set 7565 while 98% of the body is from set 8095. The Bob figure is included with the space ship in the LDD file, which is available here. Hey there - don't post much but the new xwing windscreen being available in trans-yellow inspired me to update one of my MOCs that I was never quite satisfied with until now. Backstory: In order to combat the increased incursions from the Blacktron forces and protect against their raids on commerce lanes, the Legoland Space Forces commissioned the development of a new scout and patrol craft. A decided departure from earlier, lightly armed, exploration craft, the LL919 is a high-endurance, single seat combat vessel designed to fill commerce escort, interception and interdiction roles. The Galaxy corporation developed a series of prototype craft from the successful LL901 light scout vessel. The basic spaceframe was stretched to accommodate an advanced high-power compact fusion reactor, a FTL jump drive, high performance sublight drives, additional armaments and an advanced AI system to assist with target tracking and identification and navigation on long patrols. The wing area was increased to accommodate additional radiator capacity to dissipate the heat generated by the advanced combat systems as well as improve trans-atmospheric performance. Armament features dual high rate blasters on each wingtip to engage smaller craft. Dual forward particle cannons and 6 under-wing hard-points carrying auto-seeking anti-matter torpedoes allow the LL919 to effectively engage heavy vessels. The FTL jump drive capabilities are classified but experts estimate that a jump drive in a craft this size would be capable of around 6 intersellar jumps before requiring maintenance and refueling. However, the craft does appear to have dorsal Bussard scoop which might allow the LL919 to extend its maximum endurance by travelling through dense clouds of interstellar hydrogen gas to replenish its fusion reactor. The craft features retractable nose gear and the ventral fins pivot to serve as the rear landing supports. The LL919 has had nothing but praise from the initial test pilots and it is now being rolled out to the LLSF's elite units. The photo below shows an LL919 wearing the famed "Scarlet Vipers" squadron colors. It is expected that the LL919 will be sent to equip all of the LLSF's patrol squadrons, replacing the current issue X-1 patrol craft, Cosmic Cruiser, FX-Starpatroller and other units, once Galaxy Corp. completes the initial Low-Rate-Initial-Production models and is authorized to begin full scale production. Link to brickshelf gallery Builders Notes: This MOC is proof that a build is never done. I have had different variations of this build in LDD for several years and I was never quite satisfied with the look. The new T70 xwing canopy struck me as perfect for this build so I recently re-designed the canopy section to include it. There is a "design progression" picture in the brickshelf gallery that captures many of the iterations of this design over the years. The nearly studless exterior features significant SNOT construction techniques. Total piece count is 343 bricks including the pilot minifig. The design is obviously inspired by the Buck-Rogers Earth Directorate "Thunder fighter" with the tail section somewhat inspired by the A-wing. For now, this MOC will likely remain a virtual creation as acquiring some of the pieces in the colors needed will be difficult. This is my first attempt a using "Bluerender" and I just want to say a big thank you to those who developed it. I found it very easy to use on my first go-around and can have the satisfaction of a more realistic visualization of this creation until I can find a color scheme I like that where all the elements are commonly available. One of the next things I need to try is to figure out how to include the classic-space logos in the render. Anyways - thanks for looking drc

So for an evening and a late night's work, I decided to make this TIE Fighter from modifying the body of Darth Vader's Tie Advance (75150) & the wings of the First Order Special Forces (75101) into what you see now. I believe I have done satisfactory work translating the ball shape into LEGO with brick elements, and, refining the design of the wing with less studs and pieces whilst maintaining the sturdy structure, as well a strong connection to the body—have a look! The LDD file consists the model, grouped into sub-assemblies and separated into sections, with functioning instructions for building convenience. Despite what many users commonly experienced, accomplishing a working generated guide is manageable through grouping the model into sub-assemblies, otherwise the program will falter and fail to generate the building steps properly. Though oddly as well, the program cannot process various connections properly, resulting in model being separated into the sections as shown. These difficulties can be noticed when the program chokes at some point of the process bar, then begins to skip around—this model experiences this in a certain area. The difficulty in particular occurs around the steps for assembling the arms, which will anchor the wings, but this is the only error in the guide and small enough to pass over without frustration . However if you are not convinced enough of how decent it works, try the file yourself, the model still should be grouped in sub-assemblies when opened . lilme_tie_fighter.lxf

These TIEs have already been up on Flickr for a little while but I thought I should put them up here too. Not a lot to say really, we all know what a TIE looks like after all. This is my version, it (comfortably) fits a fig, has an opening top hatch and even the rear window seen extensively on ILM models and in the Rebels TV show. It's also surprisingly sturdy, I made sure the cockpit was built for strength (less for looks as you may tell form the amount of studs) and in that it can keep up with my X-wing's tight manoeuvres in a hand-held dogfight :D TIE fighter (1) by Inthert, on Flickr TIE Fighter (cockpit) by Inthert, on Flickr I've made an LXF file for the cockpit if anyone's interested: TIE Cockpit.lxf (I had added this to my X-wing topic but its obviously more appropriate here ;) EDIT: I've competed the full TIE in LDD as requested. Enjoy!: TIE (complete).lxf UPDATE: I've been informed there may be some pieces missing in the from of 4 2x1 grey plates (used to close the hexagons on the insides of the wings) so just keep that in mind when using the file ;) I also noticed that some parts were omitted from the first file so I decided to re-try the cockpit, seems to be okay in the complete TIE file just so you know. I couldn't just have one imperial ship around to blow my X-wing and Falcon to bits so I made two! hi fellas, This is my first Spaceship i actually got to finish, so im quite new here. I usually build cars, so im really out of my comfort zone with this one^^ Tell me what you think of it! I tried getting it a retro, near future look with edges and a beaten up/heavy duty paintjob (just like the star wars rebel ships). It fits one fig and has movable engines + engine covers. Also 4 blaster guns are included in the main frame. Overall size is left small on purpose, so it can be like a dogfighter with small area of possible impact (thats why there are no wings;) ) cheers. Hello Star Wars community, I am proud to present you my entry for the first round of this years Star Wars MOC Olympics on ImperiumDerSteine. It is the first time that I take part in the contest, because normally I am not so much into Star Wars but this year I try to progress as far as possible for a mainly Castle-builder. We will see how it turns out. Our task was to build a Micro-Fighter of our choice, so I decided to recreate the First Order Transporter, also known as Atmospheric Assault Lander, or like rolli says a giant vacuum cleaner. I tried to include all the little details that are important for a Micro-Fighter, it should be stable enough that children can play with it and some play features should also be included. The wings on the 9492 Tie Fighter were always excellent, but the cockpit let it down badly. The cockpit on the 75082 Tie Advanced was a big improvement, the canopy pieces were quality, but the wings sucked big time. So, I kinda combined the 2 designs and hopefully improved them by adding my own tweaks. Here you go. I willl post some images later on today (unfortunately I set my uploads off as I set off to work today and some of them failed).: All black Batman Tie Fighter! Yes you read it right
