    [O-F04] Technical Details

Location: F04Tags: Spaceship Week 68 001 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: Well look at that, Looks like this drone was from built from Octan parts. This is right here is proof this has been built of the works of Dr. Long Drones. Looks like Mantis made it bigger with some added function and armaments.
  4. Planet: F04Tags: Military, Civil, Building, Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Spaceship (After the capturing of the Mantis SAM Base, The Higher Ups at Octan unveiled more of their secret black project to Boxerlego.) Week 66 001 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego in his New Mantis Engineer Uniform talking to himself on the heavy transport vehicle: "Wow look at this, what is it doing here. I got to check this spaceship out." Week 66 002 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego thinking to himself as he exists the heavy transport vehicle: Now that they (Higher Ups at Octan) got me working for Mantis and checking things out around here, I wonder what this has to do with the mission Not much has been said other then check things about and report back thing of interests. Its clear to me now that they wanted me working for Mantis since they wanted me to capture the SAM Base but why me and only me, Even for this Mantis base its still weird that nobody is here to my knowledge, strange. I just hope this Mantis Engineer Uniform and the credentials works for me otherwise its lights out. Week 66 003 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego at the computer station for the spaceship: Wow, Now this spaceship is a modified Mantis Space Assault Vehicle that is capable of being converted to a Infantry DropShip, Now That is Interesting. Looks well armored too. But what is this next file there is not much here, it don't read like its for a spaceship at all. Now that sounds like a big cannon right there, no way this ship here could mount a cannon of that size. Now this is something of interest, I better save this and send it back to Command. See what they say about it. End.

    [O-F04] Soldiers of Domination

Planet: F04 Tags: Military, Civil, Building, Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Spaceship (The Briefing Room before departure of Freegate) Week65_001 by boxerlego, on Flickr Captain Logan: This is your briefing session for your next Mission. You are Now Top Engineer for Operation T. As Top Engineer it is your objective to Ultimately Capture and Locate a M.A.N.T.I.S. Missile Control SAM Base along with all the Hidden Underground Missile Launch Facilities. We have a Location On Planet Illustria for you to check out if and see if you spot anything out of the ordinary. Our Experts don't know exactly where this Missile Control SAM Base is along with the Underground Missile Launch Facility. The Experts have Picked a point to enter the planet from to keep a safe distance and once your in the planets atmosphere we advise you to drop and Fly Low to the ground and use the mountainous terrain to your advantage from being locked on by the Missiles and picked up by the Radar. Boxerlego: Interesting, But isn't that a bit to much to ask for from One Engineer Wouldn't you say? So your just sending One Engineer and expect to take over this Hidden Missile Base. Captain Logan: No, We are sending Our Top Engineer to take over the Missile Control SAM Base from there you will be able to gather and know all the exact coordinates of the Hidden Underground Missile Launch sites. This Job is perfect for you after all you an expert at this Boxerlego and besides the Higher ups wouldn't have selected you if they didn't think you have what it takes to do this after all you will also have Ronin the Kawashita Ninja Robot and The Top Secret Black project itself the Spaceship so you certainly have the tools to do what it takes that is expected from you. Boxerlego: What makes this base vernalable to capture just by one Engineer? Captain Logan: Glad you ask and the Simple Answer is Robots. See most this base relies upon the function on robots from the use of several kinds of turrets and to the Vehicles that accompanied it all Controlled by a Central Control unit at the Sam Base. If the Spaceship is able to control the Central Control the Spaceship will be able to gain Control over the Facility. I know it sounds simple in explanation but when it comes to the Engineering that is your part to figure out. Now that has been said I will be giving you a few items that will help you in your endeavors, You should know what the items are and that basically concludes this Briefing. Good Luck. (Fast Forward to the Present) Week65_002 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: This is Boxerlego here I have laid Eyes on the target base and Wow it looks heavily defended. Is that a Cannon? Week65_003 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: I Might as well search around the area and see if I can find anything of interest here. (Around Half hour of searching Boxerlego Found an Antenna and manage to connect the spaceship to the antenna) Week65_004 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: Wow, This is amazing Spaceship so you can take Control over the base from this point here. Spaceship: Not Exactly. I can only gain control over certain systems such as the Gate and a Buggy. But I still don't have access to the main Missiles system so allocation of all the missiles will still need to be completed. That can only be done If I get access from the Main Controls in the Base. I will make a CD key. When this is put in the computer in the control room it will give me more access to the bases Controls. Boxerlego: Spaceship, I want you to drive this buggy over here and drive it back to the base and make sure to open the gate for me. Spaceship: Well there is one problem with your plan. You are a human and that base has orders to kill all humans right now and the only way to change that is to send Ronin in with the CD Key and put it in. Ronin is more capable of getting past the Base sensitive defenses systems It will be like he was never there. Boxerlego: Ok, then send this buggy over here and I will unload Ronin out Spaceship: Buggy is on the way and the CD Key is Finished. Week65_005 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: Ronin its your objective to put this CD in the Bases Computer. Also Where did you get the hat it looks good. Ronin: (In Silent Mode Ronin receives the CD from Boxerlego and gets on the buggy and then heads toward the SAM Missile Control Base to complete the objective) Week65_006 by boxerlego, on Flickr Week65_007 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: Boxerlego Sending message back to Command. I have gained complete Control over M.A.N.T.I.S. Missile Control SAM Base along with all the Hidden Underground Missile Launch Facilities has been Completed and the Coordinates of all the Hidden Missiles Launch Facility Sites are now known, waiting for further orders. Over. 63_007 by boxerlego, on Flickr Glad you got up here its been 25 minutes and Your Robot hasn't moved an inch and it some how produced a sword out of no where, I thought it was just broken. 63_008 by boxerlego, on Flickr Just look at the Robot, it has done nothing but just stand there with a Trash Can lid on its head and some how produces a sword out of no where. I don't want any where near that Robot. 63_009 by boxerlego, on Flickr So you better take care of this before the robot starts swing that sword around and damages the Captains tank. Oh and speaking about the Captain, its been said hes been occupied with the latest Project and you know how the Captain gets when he is sidetracked. 63_010 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego: Robot turn around and state your function and objective. Robot: I'm a Ninja Robot, My objective is to follow Boxerlego orders. Boxerlego: So your one of those Ninja Robots and you respond to my voice commands, Now this is interesting. So next question What Is your name and who were you develop by. Robot: My name is Ronin, I was developed by Kawashita. Boxerlego: Ok Ronin, Put away the sword put the trash can lid back on the trash bucket and get back to sweeping up the bay area and wait for my next command. 63_011 by boxerlego, on Flickr Incoming message from Captain Logan: Boxerlego get up to the Hanger. Boxerlego: I wonder what this is about. I better get up there fast. 63_012 by boxerlego, on Flickr Captain Logan: Excellent now that your here I want to show to you your newest project. Boxerlego: My newest project looks great But I'm just an Engineer. What business do I have with a spaceship. Captain Logan: Well I cant explain everything to you right now but you have big Engineering business that deals with this spaceship. For the time being just get in and get the feel of flying this Spaceship. Don't worry the Spaceship is capable of flying itself by the flip of a switch after all who else is going to fly when your asleep. For now just think about the Spaceship and what you want to achieve with it. I'll just leave it at that for now so not another word and get in already. 63_013 by boxerlego, on Flickr 63_014 by boxerlego, on Flickr Boxerlego talking to self: Ok, Now that I'm in here, how do I start this up and launch this ship. Oh look here are the keys already in the controls and here is that switch the Captain is talking about. Ship begins to respond and answers my questions. In order to start and launch spaceship, press the green button next to the keys this starts the engines and then you engage the Selector on the right in the D position to control the Launch of the spaceship yourself but for Spaceship control put the Selector in the C position and then the switch next to the throttle then look at the controls to see if the Spaceship is clear for take off and once cleared for take off just engage the Throttle and the spaceship will begin to take off. Boxerlego: Oh this is great the space ship talks and all I got to do is just press this green button here and flip this switch and then I bring this here in the C position and when the ship is ready for take off I just engage in the throttle. Ship: That is correct. Boxerlego: Well, here we go. 63_015 by boxerlego, on Flickr (while flying around the spaceship reveals why boxer is the one flying the spaceship) Boxerlego: Wow, that is amazing to know so you chose me to fly this spaceship. Spaceship: This is correct. I told the captain that I have chosen you to be pilot of me and not only Pilot but Engineer as well. Boxerlego: That is very moving stuff spaceship I just got one question Why Me? Spaceship: I've selected you not because you were the best pilot. I'm the best Pilot, but I selected you because you put the Ninja Robot named Ronin back together and is now under your command. This is one of the reasons why I have chosen you. Boxerlego: So how do you know about Ronin? Spaceship: It was my objective to capture Ronin, I'm the vehicle that brought Ronin over to Octan, In fact I was able to deconstruct Ronin's core memory so the Octan scientist could safely examine the robot but there was a Problem even though we did all this for the safety of the Octan scientist Ronin was able to reconstruct its core Memory and regain control after one scientist deemed it safe to put Ronin back to gather again and 14 of the best and brightest Octan robotics scientist lost there lives in that facility including my Engineer and Project Developer. The only scientist who survived that was strongly against it in the end was only able to save himself. And after recapturing Ronin for a second time I deconstructed Ronin's core memory so the last remaining Octan scientist could safely dissemble the Ninja Robot once again. The last remaining Octan Scientist said that he told them not to put this Ninja Robot back to gather and they didn't listen to him. This Scientist is Captain Logan. Captian Logan knows all about Ronin technically and has in fact has completely reconstructed Ronin entirely but he couldn't complete the ninja robot after what happen and has allowed Ronin to sit on a shelf in a safe many years uncompleted. Boxerlego: Incredible, I dont know what to say, I'm speechless, But I will say this, Thanks for accepting me to be your Engineer. I will do my best.

  8. This is a mod of set 40128, as seen here: http://brickset.com/sets/40128-1/Robot Fictional background info: The NIFT-E robot was designed in 2015 to compliment the thousands of Sentry (4416) series robots produced in 2006 by the X-POD corporation for the original Nexus Force founders. However, the newer robots produced by Yesterday's Tomorrow Corporation are coated with a hard-to-find mineral called Retro-nite to better protect from Maelstrom corruption. As a side effect of this mineral makes use of a retro-futuristic design which won over Commander Bob of the Neo Nexus Force. (He is seen in the main pic alongside the first NIFT-E) Thirty-four of these robots were produced as a test batch, called the Nexus Iron Friendly Teammate - Engineer class (NIFT-E) for use as spaceship ground-crew and basic engineering duties, including fueling and maintenance, computer updating, and guiding ships into land. They work alongside human counterparts who work on the harder to reach areas of a ship's engine and take care of life support systems and crew comforts. Each human crewman is assigned an NIFT-E counterpart, in which they are partners working towards the same goal: keeping the ships flying and repair bay as empty as possible in case of emergency. This robot requires one part not in LDD, AKA this printed part ( http://www.bricklink...sp?P=15068pb004 ) goes on the center of his chest. The Rear of the NIFT-E.... nothing to see here! LDD file for the NIFT-E and Bob: http://www.moc-pages...1473453461m.lxf NOTE: The robot's head will not turn no matter what I do to the file, even though it's on a turn-plate. If you do need to turn his head, remove it, and then replace it when the turntable is placed int he correct position. (Name of the robot provided by a good friend of mine after looking for a neat 1950's sounding name) This robot will go alongside two more spaceships, an enlarged landing pad and a new car for Bob on my Nexus Force Ice Station Destiny space base when built in real life. Here's what the base looks back in late 2015. Any comments, questions and complaints are welcome.
  9. Hi people, My name is Bart, I am 30 years old and slowly picking up my Lego hobby again. I will update my data, avatar and such soon. I work a full time job and a 20 hours study in the evening, so it takes a share of my free time Now that my studies are almost finished I want to start building Lego MOC’s and share some with you guys. I work as a mechanic in the Netherlands and sometimes other countries. I do work on a variety of things: aircraft engines, radar systems and creating special tools. My hobbies are: Technical stuff, music, science projects, BMX, old cars, photography and Lego So I will not bore you any longer with my life story, here are some photo’s of MOC’s I did and pictures of my hobby builds. Have fun! Mad Max 1 interceptor (big Mad Max fan here) I like sturdy builds wich have a lot of functions and details. Trying to build clean vehicles and sets though. Fury Road MOC: (Kinda silly but I like it). 'Tanka' from Carmageddon 1: (I hope it is o.k. to post this subject here) This is my 'Board Track Racer' project wich I am currently building completely from scratch and scrap: And my Herbie wich I restored a couple of years ago: (Its now sold to a couple wich have the time to keep it running). So yeah, too much hobbies here Feel free to ask questions and thanks for watching!

The planet is certainly offering challenges to us. Nevertheless, copper has to be mined, and the planet has to be explored. I'm not sure about the exploration part, but will certainly try to do my best in locating these ore deposits. But need to finish my lunch break first. The new version of Octan Terrain Analyzer is much smaller in scale and much easier to handle. And the results are quite interesting as well. The planet seem to contain a huge organics deposit under the nearby copper stratum. As we dig through copper, the biomass will be very easy to extract. Bad news though, are that there's only one such biomass deposit found... yet. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- End of transmission #12.

My team was moved to a surface location that is roughly flat and void of alien activity. Here we constructed the long rage communication and research center. All communication sectors have establied channels with our unit. Research can now begin on the lava formations where trace amounts of Awesomnium are being detected on the surface. This could be a potential future mining operation as well. In the next days the Military and Science experts with take over the location and I will be dispatched on my next mission. - D

    [O - H03] New frontiers

Location: H03 - Kaalin Tags: civil, building, exploration Terrain: Rock Start of transmission #04. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This week's target was to test a new standart-Octan-container sized habitation module in the hostile weather - and Kaalin's northern regions seemed a perfect spot for that. It's a cold dry tundra with little life trying to survive against harsh winds and cold nights (during the day, though, it is pretty warm here, I could even open the walls and enjoy a bit of sunshine). All the flora here is no more than a few inches above the ground level, and I haven't yet detected any fauna. That's good news... Better no fauna at all then an abundance of it (I still have the nightmares of these days on Crofter's Ridge, probably should visit the medical bay on the base). Bad news are that I haven't found any awesomnium ore here. Just nothing, not even a smallest piece of this awesome purple-colored ore. Even worst news are that there's no whitestone as well - the one that always accompanies awesomnium. The reports from other explorers, however, show lots and lots of awesomnium on other regions - so it seems that the planet is useful, after all. Hopefully, at least the picture came out well. I hope that this habitation module survives a few weeks here. And i really need this extra equipment delivered to enhance the module and start some serious testing procedures. The module is yet just a box with some basic live supporting equipment and initial food supplies. Even the opening function of the walls is useless as no extra floor space is available yet. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- End of transmission #03. Civil, Weather Engineering Start Transmission My activities on Jen's Star has been suspended with out further notice and I have been transported to a new planet sector. My new objective is to install a range of weather equipment on Arium Minor so that our Exploration team know what is going on with the current weather situation and not be caught up in a sudden Hail storm. Lucky for me I will be the first to know what is going on with the current weather situation. But at least after the Lighting Rod/Antenna is set up everybody wont haft to worry about random lighting strikes to much... Once on Arium Minor. Well that is it I finally hook everything and primed the heat system for a go so parts don't freeze up. The infrared lighting appears to be working right, I can already feel the heat being emitted. The barometric pressure readings are the same as mine. Now that is done what is next. Whoa check out the sudden burst of wind speed. That is fast. Look like the wind activity is picking up. Better get out of her while the time is right. End of Transmission
  20. Location: H03 Tags: Engineer, building Being away from home is hard, probably for everyone. For Zaael though. It's not that hard, he thinks. Born in a galaxy far away from Andromeda's Gates he has been on the move all his life. His father was an explorer, his mother a scientist. They made quite a buck for Octan discovering new planets and resources. Z was never really into exploring or science. He designed his first mining rig when he was just a kid. From mining rigs it went bigger and bigger. At the age of 18 he had build whole cities on more than a dozen planets. Z was living big, had it all. Untill he lost it all... Computer: Incomming call from Jacques LaRose... Zaael: Yes, Jacques, hi, what's up? I'm busy building stuff. Jacques: Hey Big Z, I need your help, one of my mining droids broke down. And I need a place to sleep. Could you do some... you know... engineering? Zaael: Really Jacques? You call because you can't even fix your own droids? And need a bed?!? Geez man! Jacques: Hehe, yes, I'll owe you. Zaael: Yes, you already did... Jacques: Oh come on! I have some info on Isabel. Dr Long heard from Pombe. Sounded really interesting. Zaael: Isabel?!? I'm on my way! News about Isabel, was she alive? That would be... the best news in a long time. Maybe, if she really is, I could invite her here. My new home!

If course I did it all wrong. Just as the platform was installed, I've climbed down to check the nearby territory. And to make the usual picture, of course, (hopefully, I'll be able to do these in color soon, but for now b/w is a sole option). All in all, I've barely managed back alive and in one piece. No questions now, why the alien live status is stated as "intense" here. I can surely confirm that... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- End of transmission #03. The build:
  22. Mission 3 The Black Granite Find Location: Jen's Star Tags. Civil, Surveying Start Transmission It has been 3 weeks that I've been on Jen's Star. My recent discovery is a Black Granite rock bed down around the mountain base. This is a great find of Black Granite according to the Rock Scanner which is showing rich levels of Cobalt and Silver. Radioactivity is normal. Now according to the geology field guide Black Granite is typically found around once Volcanic active regions but luckily this area hasn't seen a volcanic activity for over thousands years according to interpretations from Satellite Scans. No wonder this planet has alien activity on it. The Black Granite here is ripe for the gathering. End of Transmission.

    [O - G08] A fine specimen!

These are the coördinates Pombe gave me. There should be something interesting here. He told me something about ancient buildings... Woah! What's this!?! This is ancient indeed! My meter is going nuts. Yikes!! AAAAAAAH!!! Panix!!!!!!! *runs around in circles for approximately 2 minutes and 23 seconds* Wait, hold on, stop, think. This is what Dr. Long warned me about. This is why I spend the whole night building yesterday. Yes! This is what I build little monster. Specially for you! You can come check it out... *laughs manically* HAH!! Got ya! Dr. Long is gonna like this specimen! Iet ies aliiiiive!! This will be the first!! Moehahahahah!

    [K-D10] The Hamilton Belt Mine

Okay, I might've overdone it a little this week. The build consists of 2331 pieces and should be legal/stable (I've actually added a couple of "bearing pillars" behind the scenes, so it would make sense in real life. This is a continuation of Commander/Agent Beltar's build from earlier this week (which can be found here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=109963), and it's actually implemented (almost in its entirety) in this one). I hope you like it! Tags: Building, Mining, Space, Kawashita, Engineer, Structure --//Transmission Begin. Date: 3105(38)15. Scramble code: kliuJHBGaow8a3rllvmMma.//-- Q's log: The Hamilton Belt Mining, 31 Maian 3815 I arrived at the asteriod which Agent Beltar discovered last week on D10, The Hamilton Belt. As Mister S noted, it is quite peculiar to find liquid Awsomnium on an asteroid like this. However, I do have a theory to why this is the case here. After doing some readings, I found that the whole asteroid is highly ferrous (Note to self: After Awsomnium mining is finished, consider asteroid for metal mining). Due to the high frequency, rotation of the asteriod, this result in creating a highly erratic magnetic field. Now, if the once solid Awsomnium deposits of the asteriod suddenly became liquid, such as through a high energy Gamma burst from a nearby star, the quickly shifting magnetic would probably be enough to infuse the Awsomnium with enough energy for it to stay liquid. Hmmm... The magnetic field would actually also explain Beltar's difficulty in reaching HQ, as it would scramble most of his transmissions. Very impressive of his robot, PauL, to withstand such a field... In all honesty, it almost seems like PauL has been able to withstand... *ehm*... "scrambling"... better than his owner. When we arrived, Beltar started shouting... actually, it's probably better if I include the actual recording: Q's log: Arrival at The Hamilton Belt, 29 Maian 2815. Audio recording. Beltar: "ARE YOU HERE? REALLY? OR ARE you just in my mind? Like the others?" Q: "I can assure you Agent, me and my crew is really here, and we're here to extract the deposits you found." B: "OH, YES! There's so much Awsomnium, you should really see it! Okay, bye." Q: "Yes, we will, that's why we're here... wait, are you going? Where? B: "Can't talk, must get off this rock. Been here 2 weeks. Bye. PauL, let's go!" PauL: "Yes sir." Recording end. Seriously, that guy hasn't had any real contacts with humans in weeks, he has this conversation, and then 10 minutes later, he is off? I hope he turns out okay, especially considering that he left most of his resources here. Also... what's up with his skin tone? Anyway, back to the matter at hand... The mining is going well, despite there being some... interesting abnormalities as a result of finding liquid Awsomnium on such a small asteroid. First of all there is the gravity. The Awsomnium doesn't stream and fall as much as just... floating in different directions. However, the effect is not as noticable as one might think - I estimate that the Awsomnium is still "falling" at a pace around 1/5 of Terra's gravity - once again a result of the asteroid's magnetic fields. Still, there is something oddly soothing about watching those slow-falling purple "water falls". In order to pump up the Awsomnium in the most efficient way, I've invented a pump type which I call "The Sweeper". Essentially, what it does is have a number of autonomous, semi-intelligent "arms", which home in on fast flowing Awsomnium currents, leading them to the "final resting place", and when that is swept up, back to the original well. At the moment, Awsomnium seems to be flowing from the core faster than we are able to sweep it up (again, the magnetic fields), but I have my crew out, making adjustments, in order to bolster the Sweeper's efficiency. There also seem to be some durability issues with the pipes due to the extremely high energy density of floating Awsomnium. Still, it's not outside the expected range. I expect that, when running at full capacity, we should be able to extract all Awsomnium from the asteroid within 2-3 weeks, generating 25-30 standard size tanks, which should be able to power our fleet for at least a couple of weeks. [O - G07] Water Pump

Location: G07 - Hennigan II Tags: civil, exploration Terrain: Forest Start of transmission #02. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Finally, I'm on Hennigan II. Although Livgorn mission was a success for Octan Corporation, and we were able to establish a permanent presence there, most of us had left sector H05 towards new explorations. First missions on G07 reported huge water deposits under this forest. Need to install these pumping machines now and then connect them all to central station. And I hope I won't see these butterflies Jacques LaRose mentioned in his report. Or even better, they won't see me... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- End of transmission #02.
