  1. I never thought I had a place to go for the leave time I had accrued. Regardless, the Empire quietly discouraged taking time so it was just as well that I didn't have a family to go home to. Then the sergeant asked if I was heading back to Tython for the break. Tython? Why would I go there? Turns out the Empire knew more about me than I did. Apparently my family left to colonize Tython after ditching me at the academy. The weather was suppose to be erratic, but better than it had been in centuries. Besides, it would be nothing the Zabraks weren't use to. When I got there my sister was the only one happy to see me. I wasn't allowed to stay. My mother had died. She was mostly human and couldn't take the climate. My father blamed me for forcing the family to move.
  2. Grace was true to her word, and a few days after completing a "job" for one of her associates I found myself traveling cargo class, leaving the Kuat system hidden in the hold of a merchant vessel whose captain owed Grace a favor. There seemed to be a lot of that going on lately. I assumed she'd be bringing me to her, but she said she wanted a few days to research Agent An, and to see if the ISB had been trying to kill me, specifically, on Commenor, or if I'd just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the meantime, she sent me to the last place I expected: home. My folks had long since moved into Taleucema City, but my sister Alauni, my brother A'den and his husband Lon still managed the family farm I'd grown up on. How long since I've been on the farm? The last time I was here Lon was just A'den's new boyfriend, Alauni was out racing swoops most nights, and I was back from my second tour of duty aboard the Vigilant, taking a week of leave before I was supposed to transfer to a new battle station they were calling the 'Death Star.' Everyone was glad to see me, but it sometimes seemed like there was a kind of distance between us. Like I'd changed so much, that they didn't recognize me all the way anymore. It was good to see them, though. Really good. They joked about how pale I'd gotten, and only half believed me when I protested that most of my jobs took place at night, or required a helmet. I joked about how they were uncultured dirt farmers that were already turning into our parents. They did not joke about how I now carry a blaster with me at all times. They did not joke about how the first crack of thunder, from the daily storms that occur during the wet season, sent me diving to the ground, eyes darting wildly while I tried to determine where the artillery was coming from. They did not joke about how long it took me to stop shaking after that...

    [Freebuild] Graduation

Officer: "Hello, and welcome to final review. You have now passed all required classes to graduate the academy." DLL: "Yes!" Officer: *clearing throat* "Average scores in Military tactics, average scores in Imperial History, average scores in engineering and technology courses... Average marksmanship. It says here in special notes that your professors found you to be... average. But good at following orders." DLL: "Yes. I'm very good at that." Officer: "Please be quiet." DLL: "..." Officer: "Good. You will be assigned to a Stormtrooper regiment now that you have successfully graduated. Your name will be DLL-5222. Is this understood?" DLL: "..." Officer: "you may speak." DLL: "Understood perfectly! Oh I'm so excited!" Officer: "I can tell. Now, before you leave, we must review several other items." DLL: "Yes, officer." Officer: "It says here that your parents are deceased." DLL: "Yes. Killed by rebels!" Officer: "Tragic. No... force sensitivity in your family of which you are aware?" DLL: "None! I tested negative every single time." Officer: "Excellent. It also says here that you have associated with Gotals... Filthy creatures." DLL: "Ha, yeah, sometimes they can smell pretty bad when they don't bathe! " Officer: "Indeed. And... what inspired you to join the imperial troops?" DLL: "I want to do my part! Like my Ma and Pa! I'm sure they would have wanted me to join up and help end the chaos and war that the rebellion is causing! I just want to make the galaxy a better place! " Officer. "Great. Review is over. DLL-5222, proceed to processing. You have officially graduated the Imperial Academy." DLL: "Yay! I'm gonna be a stormtrooper! Oh, Ma and Pa would be so proud!" Officer" *to the other officer* "She won't last a single deployment." Other Officer: "No. She's a goner for sure." Officer: "Next!" _________________ Just a quick little build to Introduce my character. Hope you like it! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

    MOC: Scavenging on scarif

This is my first moc topic here on eurobricks even thought I joined a while ago, I hope I am doing this right also if you want to understand why the resistance exists and isn't just the new republic I recommend the book Bloodline cause episode 7 does a bad job explaining it plus its a great read. 'Astounding, what are the chances of finding a moron stupid enough to think its worth while to kidnap a broken droid ,well about 0.5%' yes I know k-2s0 should be dead and exploded but just ignore that :P

    [MOD] Stormtrooper Swimming Pool

The title says it all! :) I modded the Imperial Hovertank set and this is what I got: Who doesn't like a good swim after a space battle? ;)
  6. Hello guys, I have finished now the Imperial Shuttle I started already a while ago: Now all of the functions actually work, and the details of the ship have been finished so that everything should look as smooth as possible. The work was pretty hard balance between accurate looks, working functions and durability, and I am now quite happy with the result. ^^ Here is a video showing the functions that include: - 2 x lasercannons - 2 x missiles - Backcannon All of the cannons are launched by pressing different buttons at the bottom of the ship. The mechanisms behind this are rather complicated and they are based on the use of fishing wire that delivers the force to the right place. - Wings automatically turn the landing gear open and close. Also, the white covering plates of the landing gear open and close automatically. The wingcannons also turn up and down automatically, though on the video they are a little jammed. - Boarding ramp and an opening and accessible hatch. - Removable walls, wall and cockpit canopy. - Cockpit seats 4 minifigures, the interior has 2 seats, but can accomodate a platoon of up to 8+ minifigures or even more, if you don't care about comfort. - Samppu
  7. This is part two – I'd suggest reading part one first: Wave of Mutilation The trooper in the foyer told me I'd find the scanning crew a few hallways down. I could hear laughter as I approached. They all had their backs to me. Okay, my turn. How can you tell an ISB spook is lying? Because his lips are moving, but I don't think you have the security clearance for that information, private. Ah, jeez, sir, I apologize, I didn't see – Stop talking. Specialist, what have you found? Well sir, the equipment detected a void space at the end of the hall that isn't in the building plans. We're trying to find the actuator now. Almost got it, should be right about … here - Alright, giggles, give me your bucket. Sir? And your grapple. And your E-11. I have an idea. 3 minutes later … Lucky for me no one was operating the remote turret. Clear. Come on down. So – this was the lair of Agent An. He'd used a drive-melter on the computer console – but it looks like he left a data stick behind. Surely not by accident. Daaamn. That's a very respectable collection. DL-44, Deece 17 … a Plex Launcher... If you asked me now, I couldn't tell you why I did it, but once I was sure the troopers were distracted by Goatm's armory, I slipped the data stick into my pocket. He left all this good stuff behind, but it looks like he took one thing with him. A hammer. Huh. See now, that wouldn't have been my first guess, but … ...but that's why I'm the spook? Hah, your words, sir, not mine. Yeah, well, I'm just a grunt on loan to the ISB, but there's going to be a shuttle full of real spooks here soon, and you'll find them to be less jovial than I am. So make sure giggles keeps his mouth shut. Roger that, sir. Alright, I'm sure he had a back door – once we find it we can get the scanning crew in here to do a proper search. I was pretty sure the only evidence Goatm had left behind was the data stick I'd pocketed, but it always pays to double check.

Star Wars: Micro MOCs | mini kits

Hi everyone! I'm quite new, but I build lego Star Wars MicroMOCs; in other words 'mini minikits'. I got my ideas from the Star Wars advent calendar series- style micro kits. I have built over 200 so far and I'm still going, so if you want to see any of these regularly, check out my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/James.Arts2172 and my YouTube Channel "James_Arts_2172: Lego" https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmYOMZz6DyvM1euY2qrRfpA All I did was go through every page of both DK Star Wars Visual Dictionaries and build every single ship and vehicle in them. Of course I have made many more besides (2014-present sets, Ep 7, Rogue One, Clone Wars, Rebel, Force Unleashed, Old Republic).

    [MOC] TIE Fighters

These TIEs have already been up on Flickr for a little while but I thought I should put them up here too. Not a lot to say really, we all know what a TIE looks like after all. This is my version, it (comfortably) fits a fig, has an opening top hatch and even the rear window seen extensively on ILM models and in the Rebels TV show. It's also surprisingly sturdy, I made sure the cockpit was built for strength (less for looks as you may tell form the amount of studs) and in that it can keep up with my X-wing's tight manoeuvres in a hand-held dogfight :D TIE fighter (1) by Inthert, on Flickr TIE Fighter (cockpit) by Inthert, on Flickr I've made an LXF file for the cockpit if anyone's interested: TIE Cockpit.lxf (I had added this to my X-wing topic but its obviously more appropriate here ;) EDIT: I've competed the full TIE in LDD as requested. Enjoy!: TIE (complete).lxf UPDATE: I've been informed there may be some pieces missing in the from of 4 2x1 grey plates (used to close the hexagons on the insides of the wings) so just keep that in mind when using the file ;) I also noticed that some parts were omitted from the first file so I decided to re-try the cockpit, seems to be okay in the complete TIE file just so you know. I couldn't just have one imperial ship around to blow my X-wing and Falcon to bits so I made two! This a mining guild TIE as seen in Star Wars Rebels, its a fairly simple modification on my imperial tie, just a few colour changes and what not but it does the job ;) Mining Guild TIE fighter (1) by Inthert, on Flickr Let me know what you think, I'm sure they're far from perfect so any suggestions will be welcome :)

    [MOC] The Imperial March

Hi guys, so I was somewhat inspired by a recent job where I got to work at the legendary Abbey Road studios! I decided to make my own version of the iconic Beatles album cover using a mix of the new Beatles mini figs (for the yellow submarine) and some of my favourite imperials. DSC_2808 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I call this build 'The Imperial March' DSC_2790 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr 2016-12-19_02-43-14 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr I tried to get some of the background detail into this build but felt the car would be the wrong scale so opted to leave it out. IMG_20161120_221651 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr beatles_abbey_road by SimonDubai, on Flickr (and yes I know that Boba and Kylo aren't technically Imperial!)
  11. Hello Eurobricks Star Wars community! I'm ChromeBricks from Instagram, and this is my first post on this forum, although I've been following it for quite some time. I would like to present to you a quick model I came up with a few days ago, a hybrid between an interceptor and a bomber like craft, but this is not final, of course. Some could even consider it kinda crappy, I sorta do. This would be primarily used for massive ground devastation or capital ship disabling. The advantage in this case of hybrid ship would offer high maneuverability in flight to evade enemy fire (both ground and airborne) and protect the payload and high speeds to attack enemy fighters and achieve long range bombing runs when in formation. This ship is pretty similar in some aspects to the RZ-1 A-Wing starfighter used by the Rebel Alliance, as it is light, hyperspace-capable, and has high agility, maneuverability and speed. Minor note: the 1x6 DBG plate on each side of the craft are intended to represent blaster cannons. But I have to admit, they barely serve that purpose. The fighter also features an astromech droid socket to assist the pilot in navigation. Behind the socket, there is a hyperdrive unit that enables the craft to travel at FTL speed while in hyperspace. Here's a view with the canopy open. As you can see, no controls yet, but those eventually might be added. Here's the rear portion of the fighter, where the hyperdrive would be installed, although there's still no indication of it. The round 2x2 plates the engine's exhaust nozzles. The DBG 1x4 behind the pilot's head is used to store any pistols that he may use, as shown here. Here is the undercarriage of the fighter. The stacks of 2x2 round bricks and a nose cone is are the bombs themselves. The round 4x4 is intended to be some sort of docking port, and the 1x2 plate with clips is kinda intended to be a torpedo launcher, although that would be small for an actual one. The vehicle does still look respectable without the bombs on, even though they are large compared to the craft itself. Lastly, here's a (blurry) pic of the pilot (Ten Numb) and the astromech droid (R5-D4) next to the vehicle. To finish things off, here a list of what I intend to add to this (partially lacking) spacecraft: 1. More detail and a more defined color scheme 2. New cannons 3. Better bombs 4. Maybe retractable landing gear? 5. Better engines 6. More greebling, for sure. And more importantly: 7. A NAME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD Because no ship is a ship without a name, am I right? I'm open to suggestions for anything, since I'm new to this community. Thank you for your attention, and may the Force be with you.
  12. The Cloud City playset from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Backs…https://ideas.lego.com/projects/163944 I wanted to design a fun and playable set which would include the ionic scenes from the Empire Strikes Back film. The aim was to create a set that resembles the shape of the cloud city and offers a playable platform like the Death Star play set. I’m a keen Star Wars fan and as Cloud City hasn’t seen a new set since 2003 I thought I would have a go. I hope you enjoy and welcome your creative input into my project. Thanks for your vote…

  17. Kuat – gateway to the Core Worlds, home of the famous Kuat Drive Yards, and a good system to disappear in, provided you keep a low profile and don't try to get too close to Kuat proper. When most people think of Kuat, they picture the Drive Yards themselves, ringing the planet, but there are literally thousands of spaceborn ship construction platforms littering the Kuat system, producing everything from hypermatter reactors to refreshers. Of those thousands of platforms, there are probably one or two hundred which are empty, derelict or abandoned at any given time. One of these isolated, empty platforms has been my home the last few days. This one isn't actually abandoned; it's just been shut down between production runs. Nobody here but me and the loading droids. I've been working for the past few hours, trying to get one of the droids to link its manual control unit with my datapad. I've almost got it. There we go. I don't have a user login, but I do have a security spike which gives me access to the system framework. Let's see, 'autopilot: disabled,' 'speed inhibitor: disabled,' 'collision avoidance:' … definitely disabled. Better hurry, not much time left. I wont be alone for long. There's an Imperial officer on the way. A major in the Supply Corps. He has a meeting set up with a Black Sun arms dealer. The same dealer he's met with monthly for almost a year. The major's getting a nice payday, diverting a few crates of weapons each month. He's also stupid and sloppy - ISB was onto him almost immediately, but they'd been content to hide trackers in the crates and use them to help map out Black Sun's network. Today, though, he won't be meeting with his usual dealer. Said dealer is dead, if he's lucky. The Empire's finally decided to start rolling up Black Sun's operations, and they're hitting everyone at once. The shuttle drops off the major, his bodyguards and the weapons in the main hanger. From there, they'll move the crates to one of the auxiliary hangers in back of the station. The shuttle is supposed to return in an hour to pick them back up, but in about 10 minutes that shuttle is going to be a cloud of glowing debris, or so I've been told. The weapons don't look like much, but those are proton-bombs and disruptors - unpleasant, and expensive. I'd normally feel guilty about killing troopers - they're just grunts like me - but these guys knew what they were signing up for. Ok, full speed, full power. I only get one shot at this. Ah, good. Something new for my nightmares. This is Tango Bravo to control. It's done.
  18. We managed to find the wanted Rodian at Mos Eisley, thinking he was just another smuggler trying to hide out on Tatooine. But it turns out he wasn't your everyday space scum. No, this Rodian was caught stealing imperial codes, no doubt to sell them to Rebels. As soon as we called him over he ran and made us chase him down to the flea markets on the outskirts. He was fast and he even tried to use the crowds as cover, probably thinking that we wouldn't shoot, but catching him was more important. Get out of the way! Blasted! He's gonna get away. Aim for his legs. We only need him alive. He tried to hide through the crowd but as soon as blaster shots were fired, a wide path opened leading us straight to him. All it took was a few shots and just like that the Rodian fell to the ground, dropping his blaster and the Imperial codes. Don't move Rebel scum! Call in HQ, tell them to get the interrogation droid ready. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey guys, back with the final part of my Tatooine intro arc. I tried to make the most of my tan pieces on this build, especially for the cliff side and I also finally got to use those ewok glider cloth pieces I'm so fond of. All in all, I'm pretty happy with this build. So tell me what you guys think and thanks for viewing. Please judge this build.
  19. Intelligence gathering... it's what Goatm An has always excelled at and now the relentless compulsion that drives his every thought. His cover on Naboo had put him right next to one of the main hubs of Imperial intelligence traffic, but he was spotted by an enterprising bounty hunter while working his day-job. Kirana was back on his tail now and it would only be a matter of time before he was tracked down again. Avoiding the Empire, Goatm chose to stake out the Rebellion's intelligence efforts aboard the Providence, an old Consular-class retrofitted to coordinate Rebel espionage throughout the Mid-Rim. But Goatm's efforts seemed to have backfired. The sudden, distant thud is a familiar sound. A boarding party has breached the hull. Could it be Kirana already? An operation like this would have to be rushed if Goatm hadn't heard about it yet. Luckily Goatm's escape options have been thoroughly planned. This droid is desperate to find its master and it doesn't take much convincing to catch a ride. He won't make it far into the Imperial prison, but Goatm will plan to be long gone before then. 21. Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka; Episode XII: Stopping by Location: Kuat Time: 10 am Persons involved: Mads Heering; Stormtrooper Orwell Haggins; Stormtrooper Cornell Haggins; Stormtrooper The story: Three stormtroopers, Mads Heering the driver, Orwell Haggins the navigator and Cornell Haggins the gunner were driving through the wastelands of Kuat when they received a new message. They have to stop by at the nearest base, where they would search for clues. If they find anything suspicious, they have to report it to the base. What are we doing here? I thought we were leaving Felucia. Not yet. Something went wrong in the space and now we're searching for clues. What exactly do we have to do? I'm not sure ... Sgt. 22. Personnel Files: Currently, on Tatooine... I'm innocent, you Imperial goons! I have no idea what you are talking about! We've intercepted transmissions from your home detailing Imperial patrol movements in your neighborhood. While we don't know exactly who the intended recipients of these transmissions are, we do know the only reason why someone would send them is to help the Rebellion organize against us. It wasn't me! I've been framed! We'll let the interrogation droid determine that. TK-8554, hold on. Sir? See, see?! Listen to your commander! She knows I'm telling the truth! It's time for your initiation. Heh. Initiation? What's going to happen is that this Rebel sympathizer scum is going to resist arrest. And in the ensuing struggle, you are going to put a blaster bolt through him. Then we will leave his decrepit corpse here to desiccate and mummify as a warning to others who might think of betraying the Empire. And in my report, I will state how well you handled your first assignment. Wait...I'm just an old man! You can't do this! YOU FIEND! <pew> Congratulations, "Fiend". And welcome to Razer Squad. All comments and criticisms welcome!

    [WIP] T-65 X-Wing

Hello guys , I am currently working on an X-Wing moc. The focus is to get it as close to the movie version as possible ( while strictly keeping it minifig-scaled ) , without caring about action-features , play value/"swooshability" etc . While waiting for a couple of Bricklink orders , I decided to post some WIP photos of what I have so far . Do have in mind that many of the parts' colours are substitutes while waiting for the correct coloured ones ( such as the brown nose and every white piece in there ) . Lastly , I 've decided to go with light bluish grey and not white for the main colour . I know this debate has been going on forever , and fully respect the people who want it white , but for me light bluish grey not only represents the actual colour a bit better , but also provides that battle damaged - real world and not CGI feel that I love about the original trilogy ( it's a real, living world , with real vehicles and that sets it apart as the best in the sci-fi genre , imo at least ). Anyway , enough indirect prequel shots fired , here are some pictures , please share your opinions and/or suggestions (sorry about the medium-low level quality , a friend borrowed my camera so I had to make do with my phone ) . There's also and LDD file I made which I'm attaching , it's not quite the whole thing , it's more of a sketch-up of how it's going to look without caring about how everything will connect ( as it is better to find that out when physically building it , when illegal and unorthodox connection techniques can be used ) , so have a look there , as there's much more than I've shown built in the photos above ( almost the whole thing , or at least the first version of it ) . Finally , note that there's going to be a "88295" part (http://www.bricklink...colorID=66&in=A) stuck on the "85861" parts on each of the four laser-canons , they're just not available in LDD so I couldn't show it there . [LDD MOC] Imperial Probe Droid

Today I have a small little build (about 40 pieces) of the Imperial Probe Droid, as seen in Episode V. Its features include a rotating head and movable arms. When I was designing this I tried to make it more screen accurate than LEGO's renditions that we've seen in years past. Comments or criticisms are welcome and encouraged!
