    Qasr Albahr

Built for the large miscellaneous category of the 14th Colossal Castle Contest. The scene was inspired by this image. It took about 2 weeks to build, and weighs 24.8 pounds, making it my largest solo build ever. Setting up the buildings layout and connecting them via bridges was the most challenging part, though the rockwork was most time consuming to build. Qasr Albahr is a large trade citadel in the Spice Islands of Kaliphlin. It serves as a hub of the trade between the islands and mainland Kaliphlin. Its climbing bridges and ornate walls are well known throughout Historica. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, all C&C appreciated
  2. We sailed into Weelond Bay and anchored in the harbor. Even though Weelond was founded as a company town of the MCTC, the settlement was open to all, and the docks were no exception. This was a public wharf. As we rowed to shore to speak with the dockmaster, the Weelond waterfront came into focus. The dockmaster was currently busy with Captain Janszen and his first mate. Perhaps a problem with his manifest? Behind them the street was bustling with activity. Both warehouses were busy moving crates and barrels to their designated spots, some coming in, some going out. And was that Captain Silver coming down the stairs? Who had he been visiting? Over to our left, a father and his son were fishing. They better make sure that cat doesn’t get their catch. As soon as the dockmaster is done with Janszen, we’ll discuss our business with him. * * * * * This MOC is made up of several builds you’ve seen here before (the small warehouse with room above, the MCTC warehouse, the brewery). The dock has even appeared before (introducing a ship, and practicing for a duel), but never as the focus of the build. Probably only 10% of this is new. But I wanted to see how it would all fit together in a larger display, and I wanted to put the focus on the dock, which I will now license as a medium commerce property. Here are a couple more views: As always, all C&C welcome.

    Kaliphlin Port

A free build for Kaliphlin! This was one of the funnest builds I’ve done in a while, and I quite like how it turned out; particularly the bright color scheme. Inspiration from Mark of Falworth’s Seaside Harbor: Link More pictures here: Link All C&C appreciated

    Boat Repair Shop

My story For this modular (creator) building was that the Boat Repair Shop is based for a creation to fit in the Sea front Village. I built this one on Lego Digital Designer (LDD). I really believe that this model could have a lot of genuine interest for fans of my Sea front Village sets. This is the second of a series of modular (creator} buildings that I will be submitting. Summary If you're looking for trusted boat repair in Sea Front Village you've found the right place. With a full team of highly-trained technicians, Our Service Department has become one of the most trusted boat repair shops in Sea Front Village. From plastic boat repair to marine engine repair. our state-of-the-art equipment will get you back on the water as quickly as possible. The following is a list of the boat repair shop items: Minifig: Technicians (Carpenters), Captain, Fishing man. Boat: 2 type models, Tools: Drill, Screwdriver, Saw and more. The building consists of roughly 2460 parts and a boat ramp with a crane, work floor, and storage- attic. I used the colors sand yellow and olive green for the building that gives it a realistic feeling. And Siding technique for the clapboards. The roof just sits on the recess so it’s easy to take of and put on. If you like this design or the idea of the Boat Repair Shop – Modular (Creator) Building http://ideas.lego.com/projects/129623 please support and follow, thanks for reading and Brick On everyone !

  6. Happy Back to the Future day! Had to get that in! For my entry into TC8 I will be making a Dock Container crane like the image below, but will do my own thing where needed to save time, and using what parts I have available. I will confess there is a lot I don't know about cranes and hoping I don't come into trouble. This will be my first sbrick model too, so should fun! WIP pics will be up in few hours after I have made some more progress on the boom part which is about 1.5 meters long. I'm not sure how I will make the grabbing thing yet either! haha. I'm hoping pneumatic as I wont have enough PF cables to extend down. Any questions please feel free to ask!
  7. And I've finally caught up to my Flickr posts...
  8. A counter to LordDan's attack at L1 The civilian carrying the weapons slipped on the edge of the dock and fell into the river, as he fell, the weapons dropped out of his hands and floated away: Any C&C welcome
  9. River Gate The Second Battle of Queenscross (WZ7:E8) For the Desert King! In the seizing of Queenscross, a detachment of Desert King troops is sent to secure the docks along the Arkbri. Near one of the river gates, they quickly overcome a group of High Council soldiers. It is vitally important that trade and travel along the river remain safe, and, in spite of the increasing conflict in the area, the Desert King will do just that. Overall shot:
  10. This model is used as a base of operations for Johnny Thunder and his allies. It features a crane to unload cargo, (Please note: The crane is missing this string: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=x77ac50 ) a speed boat for ferrying passenger & cargo to the Island Hopper Sea plane, and a hut with radio equipment and a map plus a windmill. This main part of this model was inspired by set 60068, Crooks Hideout (City) along with the crane from set 7596, Trash Compacter (Toy Story 3), speedboat from set 7197, Venice Canal Chase (Indiana Jones: Last Crusade) and the Tramp Steamer from 5975, T-Rex Transport (Adventurers: Dino Island) Just Imagine this scene... Mike is in the crane helping load cargo onto the steamer from the dock. The speedboat is being tied up on the other side of the dock by Major Quinton Steele, as he just go back from the trading post. The windmill creeks in the wind as the Harry Cane huddles inside the shack, waiting for Pippin Reed to arrive in the Island Hopper with Johnny & Jake Raines inside. This is a closer look at the speed boat. It can seat two figures, one steering, and one behind the driver. This ship is an enlarged version of the one I have shown in an earlier thread. Here is the LDD file for the above scene: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1420751456m.lxf This scene is supposed to have this sea plane included, but I figured it was a pretty big file to begin with, so here is a link to the file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1417798403m.lxf There are more topics by me about the adventurers, and here are their links: Main topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92994 The Sinister Family mansion: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102623 Johnny Thunder's office: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102621 Island Hopper Seaplane: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103120 Comments, Questions, & complaints are always welcome!
  11. This is my custom device dock that can hold both my iPod touch and my Windows Phone at once--hence the name iWin. Tap or click any picture to enlarge it. In the front, there are two arms that ratchet down to prevent the device in the lower dock from tipping over when in a vertical orientation. In the rear, there is a knob that can adjust the angle of the iWin's rear frame. All 4 wheels can be unlocked (by pulling out the black bushing pins) for rolling around, or locked in place to act as rubber feet. The iWin can lean back very far, but there are a couple of angled TECHNIC beams that prevent the iWin from collapsing under the weight of any devices it is holding. Those beams also restrict the maximum vertical angle of the iWin. From left to right: iWin holding my Windows Phone (a Nokia Lumia 920 for those interested), iWin holding my 5th-gen iPod touch with an official LEGO case, and iWin holding both of my devices. All of the above pictures (except for the one in which the iWin is leaning back--I used my Lumia 920's own camera for that picture) were taken using a GoPro Hero3+ Silver Edition camera that I won in a sweepstakes. LXF File (current version) LXF File (old prototype, version 1) LXF File (old prototype, version 2) Brickshelf Gallery Bonus: I made a special stand for my iPod touch that attaches to its LEGO case. (These pictures were also taken with the 920's own camera.)

    Dock Scene

Along the docks of Carn there are many buildings, some being houses and others being businesses. Most build there roofs out of wood and cover them with whatever they can. (sometimes grass will grow on them!) Dock Scene by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr Inside View by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr This is a small build I did in my free time.( waiting for peices to arrive!) It is my first build with a hinged door and I would also like to claim the following PU credits: Architecture (wooden walls) and Trade and Law (shipping by sea) C&C welcome

    PTC - Capt. Stabbin/Yawgmoth

[pid][/pid] 247A Greetings! Well, after a nice time planning, building, getting feedback, rebuilding, and getting everything done, we finally got our entry done: The Lighthouse Guard & The Imperial Tavern Both sets were designed to match each other and make a long redcoat harbor. We decided to stick to a classic design, with some details from the new 2009 pirates wave. Both sets provides great playability by their own, but when paired, the posibilities are almost limitless! The way we decided to connect through technic pins, allows to merge both sets in several ways! promoting creativity and play value. With no other introduction, we are proud to present our entry to the Pirate Team Contest From Capt. Stabbin: The Lighthouse Guard From Yawgmoth: The Imperial Tavern I gotta say it was really fun, I'd do it again anytime, so I shall extend a BIG thanks for this idea, and the general concept of this competition!
