  1. Port Wilks, June, 621 It has been some time since we've seen our young first mate - now captain of the Fog-Breaker - Myles Bowditch, but in the last few years he managed to build up a little fortune in trading both for himself and for the ETWC, and now with a part of that - inspired, possibly, by the activity around the new ETWC agent just arrived in the area - he had just built and outfitted a new flour mill on the river that skirts the Port Wilks settlement. It was bright and early one morning soon after the mill had been fitted out and begun to run that Myles stood awaiting the arrival of a certain well-known and eccentric Eslandolan captain, and as the sound of a coach's wheels rattling along the path met his ears he looked up to see Captain Whiffo rolling up in a carriage that probably belonged to the mayor (if you know why then kudos for following the storyline and having a crazy good memory! ). "Well, Captain Bowditch - so things have been sailing fairly with you, mate?" inquired Captain Whiffo after the first cordialities were dispensed with. "Excellently indeed, captain," reply our hero, "but I'm afraid the sinking of our one company's ship seems to have been a bit of a damper on the general spirits." "Oh right - the WSWHPTOE. 'Twas a most unfortunate turn for it to go down on its first expedition," Captain Whiffo stroked his chin thoughtfully. "I think it was the WDTPTOE?" "Right," replied Captain Whiffo, shaking his head - "the WDTSTOP. At any rate, whatever they named it we really ought to sistership it promptly, and the Henri as well. Arr, but have I been out of a ship for too long!" "Indeed," replied Myles pensively (thinking, perhaps, about how difficult it would be to spell the WDTPTOE II - of was it the WDTSTOE II?) "I heard you bought some tulips recently, Capt'n?" "Oh yes, quite the rage," replied Captain Whiffo contentedly, quite happy to hear that the news had got about. "Now there is a notion for the cargo of the WDTPTOS II!" "Not a bad idea at all," Myles answered, beginning to pace up and down, "I might have to buy a cargo hold of it for the Fog-Breaker's next voyage as well." "A capital idea," and Captain Whiffo began to clang his saber in his hook, as he always did when excited upon the subject of capital, "just the thing once we get the ETWC once more to its rightful place plying the trading seas!" "Have you heard of the new currency in Corrington?" asked Captain Bowditch after some more details had been satisfactorily settled. "No." "You wouldn't like to," laughed Myles, his mind running on schillings and six-pnence. The clanging stopped and Captain Whiffo's face grew serious, for the topic of money always was extraordinarily important to him - but ask as he would he could get no more out of Myles about it, for the young captain had decided he'd rather not be around when that explosion took place. A few more details later the two parted ways amiably, the one to prepare his vessel for its next voyage and the other to ask everyone he met about the new currency until he had gotten to the bottom of it. But unbeknownst to them, a small, unseen pair of ears had been listening carefully all this while. "Pieces of eight!" ejaculated Captain Nordau's parrot softly in surprise, with a low whistle... Hey y'all! Another build from me - I really wanted to use this waterwheel for BoBS after building it for the Summer Joust and am really happy with how the scene came together! So fun to use a bunch of Kai's yellow leaves as well! Otherwise just a medium mill for Port Wilks and a list of all the stuff I need to build for my convenience (and to help me remember)! - and a sistership build for the Henri (now the Whiffo's Riposte). Haven't forgot about Captain Whiffo's duel storyline either, but it's about time that one way or another we finally get our captain back on the seas! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome as always!
  2. Abe Gray's Universal Store was one of the most popular shops in Pontelli. His oldest daughter usually watched the shop and his younger daughter usually watched her little baby brother and ate cookies while she thought her sister wasn't looking. But how well it went with the business was testified by the fact that both his girls were always dressed in the lattest elegant fashion, frills and puffed sleeves and all. Sadie saw to that, although some detractors said sometimes that her sister looked like she was dressed in a sack - but that was ridiculous. Pirates do not window-shop. That's just not a pirate thing. But it must be admitted that when Captain Nordau saw some tulips in the window of Gray's Universal Store he did a very un-pirate-like thing and walked in. He had heard just a little bit ago that Captain Cookie had bought some of Pontelli's new tulips. And he was not one to be behind other pirate captains for long - it would never do. "Arr, did I see some tulips in the winder of this 'ere 'stablishment, miss?" "Yes you did, sir," replied Sadie. "Those are Mondials - they are one of the rarest kinds around. Here you see." "Ay, indeed. I hear that Captain Cookie has bought some Pontelli tulips." "Oh yes, sir, indeed he did. Everybody heard of that. But he bought some of the Orange Emperor tulips. These are Mondials." "Aha, much better, I shall outdo him yet," exclaimed Captain Nordau triumphantly. "Now how much are these? They're better than his, of course, right? I wouldn't pay less than Captain Cookie did for some." "No fear of that," said Sadie to herself. But all she did was smile up at Captain Nordau and think that he was clearly not an Eslandolan. "Yes, of course. These are three-quarters of a doubloon. Captain Cookie's was only a half-doubloon." "Oh yes, excellent. Here you are. And these are one of the rarest kinds you say?" "Certainly, thank you." "No problem miss, anyday," said Captain Nordau as he walked out with his new purchase. He had only just left and Sadie was just pulling out another bunch of the "rare" tulips when Captain Whiffo entered Gray's store. He was a regular costumer there and didn't care if everybody knew it. Abe Gray was a member of the ETWC after all too. Captain Whiffo considered Sadie Gray to be a very Eslandian girl - and that was about the highest compliment anybody could want from him. "Hello, Captain!" said Sadie as he came in. "Captain Nordau was just here and he bought some of these Mondial tulips." "What?! Captain Nordau here?? And what did he want with the tulips?" "Well, he heard that Captain Cookie had just bought some too." "What, him too? Well, I guess it won't do to be left out. How much do they cost? Half a doubloon?" "What, no. Of course not - that's what Captain Cookie paid for them. They're going for four-fifths of a doubloon now." "What? What extravegance!" "Captain Nordau paid three-quarters of a doubloon for them," Sadie smiled. "You wouldn't want to do worse than him. And it's my last one. Extra proceeds for the ETWC, you know, Captain," and she held up the flowers in front of her pretty face. Captain Whiffo sighed. "Okay, give me them for four-fifths then." "A pleasure to see you again, Captain," said Sadie, taking the gold coins, which as Captain Whiffo thought - like a good Eslandolan - looked even better against an Eslandolan girl's pretty face. "Jackie, come show Captain Whiffo your little brother," said Sadie, calling over her little sister - "and stop snitching cookies or I really will take the next one out of your allowance." And Captain Whiffo left saying to himself, "why, how does she manage it? She always does me like this, I don't know how she does it." And he concluded as he had often concluded before, "someday I'm going to marry that girl." And as soon as he walked out the door Sadie said, "Jackie dear, bring out the Royal Blue now, will you please? And I'll pardon you that cookie." ---------------------------------------------- The story so far: Something for a Lady Buying Some Flowers Captain Cookies next move
  3. Previously: Captain Whiffo's Duel... Sailor Leon's Letter... End of the White Doubloon Captain Whiffo paused. It was a long pause (a very long pause - just over two years long, actually... ). ...You- you don't even know what I'm talking about it's been so long. Alright! Well, for those of you who don't remember, the good Captain was just seated in the Dark Green Inn of Port Wilks, telling "a long, thrilling tale of adventure, duels, piratical villains, and rivaling trade companies from the beginning to end!" and he had just lost his Class 2 ship to a Mardierian war fleet and was left in the middle of the ocean on a little tiny raft with his small crew. But it just so happens that he was in that section of the middle of the ocean that is not so very far from the bustling Eslandolan port town of Elysabethtown... (it's not my fault both of those end in town - I didn't name the place.) "And so, after a vast (he said it like, "avast") number of grueling days aboard o' that ol' piece of driftwood," Captain Whiffo was saying, "we finally spotted Elysabethtown in the distance just as our rations of cookies were giving out..." -=- -=- -=- All was bustle and excitement at the docks of Elysabethtown when the famous ETWC captain came riding in that day, his sword glittering in the morning light as he waved it above his head in the crow's nest of the little raft. The docks official and sailors stopped to cheer lustily, and the passersby paused to stare and wave in greeting at the singular sight. Captain Whiffo shook his hookhand in triumph (forgetting, for the moment, that the Mardierians were the ones who had taken his ship away, and not the other way around), and the crew leapt up in delight. "Finally!" exclaimed the Lieutenant, with a cheer, "Captain, we're home free!!" Suddenly the raft underneath them began to tremble and quake, and the beams, battered and old, started to give way and float apart. Captain Whiffo turned to him and shook his fist. "Look at that, Lieutenant! Now you've jinxed us!" But nothing could ever faze Captain Whiffo - and it probably helped that he was on top... And so he rode victoriously, just the same... ...Right up to the dock... ...And landed amidst the stunned observance of all present. ...In a most singular and original unrolling of events totally not stolen from some other famous pirate captain (dear, Captain Whiffo nearly had my head for that "other"...). Anyways, to get back to the story. "Good day sir! Captain Whiffo, just sailed in from the middle of the ocean, if you need that for your records." "Yes sir, thank you very much," exclaimed the official, making a quick note of it. "And that'll be 7 DBs in tax for docking, if you please sir," he looked up from his pad of papers. Captain Whiffo stared at him until his eyes almost popped out of their sockets. "Taxes! Tax, in an Eslandolan colony! What are the Brick Seas coming to - have I been at sea so long? I never thought I'd live to see the day...!" "Right, 7 DBs sir," remarked the officer, with a grin, taking a half-step back. It was Captain Whiffo's turn to smile. He leaned toward him and extended his hook... ...And the official, losing his balance, tumbled off the docks. And off... Into the water... Captain Whiffo leaned over with a wide smile. "That'll be 7 DBs for docking sir, if you please!" he exclaimed, "and so there we are equal, my good friend!" -=- -=- -=- "Cap'in-" interrupted the first mate again - "Cap'in, there aren't any port taxes in Elysabethtown." "What?" exclaimed the Captain. "Ah well, must have been some other rascally Maestro port that that happened at then," he grinned. "But to get back to the point..." -=- -=- -=- "Actually, that pretty much was the point. And then when all o' the crew had made it up (the official hadn't yet - "He wasn't there!" interrupted the first mate...), had made it up," the Captain repeated, "I headed off to buy the inn and warehouse where we'd landed for the ETWC to commemorate the event. But after that..." "That was when things really started happening..." But sadly, I'm afraid that'll have to wait until next time A few more pics (hoping y'all haven't got tired of them yet ) sans minifigs: The dock: The street: And the citizens of Elysabethtown: Well, it's been way too long since I've last posted something here, and it's been like forever since I last built for this storyline! Hopefully I'll be getting better on both those points in the next couple of months though! This build has been a long time in the works, and I had a lot of fun with it - got to use a bunch of my old grey on the warehouse too! - hope y'all enjoyed it and the story as well! The buildings were based off these two inspiration pics, though both ended up getting modified to a decent degree (and I personally think my in looks better than the other one, but anyways ) More to come from Captain Whiffo soon, Lord willing! Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome as always! Check it out!
  4. Previous chapters: Captain Whiffo's Duel... Sailor Leon's Letter... "Well!" Captain Whiffo went on, "while that oaf was busy getting himself in trouble over in Elysabethtown, I was out a bit more... reasonably occupied..." -=- -=- -=- January, 617, at sea near Elysabethtown "Sail ho!" sang out the sailor in the crow's nest one early morning. Captain Whiffo leaned out over the railing of the White Doubloon and pulled out his telescope. Eslandola had now been at war with Mardier for a few months over some unwarrented predatory attacks on Eslandolan shipping, and the captain was out with his shiny new ship (well, new to him at least - it had belonged to a sea rat before that...) and a Letter of Marque, and he was very much up and ready for the fight. He brought the telescope into focus, and scanned the horizon. "Aha, we've caught sight of those villains at last! Prepare the cannons!" "Er, captain?" queried the first mate; "looks like the Mardierian battle fleet, don't it now?" Captain Whiffo continued gazing through his telescope. "Mmm, that's what I said, wasn't it?" "But sir," added the stuttering mate, "you do know we're just in a tiny Class 2, don't you? Looks to me like that there flagship's got to be a 6 at least, and a couple of 5s with it too." Captain Whiffo put down his telescope and looked over at the mate. "Why, my fellow, we'll just go for the flagship, then! There's nothing like loosing your flagship to a Class 2 to strike terror into a battle fleet! All sail, and set course to intercept them!" ... ... ... "Yarr, you piratical scoundrels! Theives! Villains! You'll pay for this, you will! A pretty lot you Mardierians are, to steal a ship like that! I'll be even with you yet!" Captain Whiffo ejaculated from the little raft he and his little crew had been tossed onto. As it turned out, he had never even made it to the flagship - the second largest ship of the fleet had cut him off before he had come within firing distance with it, and there really wasn't a whole lot the White Doubloon could do against a ship three times its size anyways, to tell the truth. Captain Whiffo's eyes narrowed as he glared at the Mardierian Admiral - the Admiral smirking back in mocking triumph all the while. Whiffo's first mate moaned out loud. The Captain glared. The Admiral glared back, neither moving a muscle as the ship slowly slid farther and farther away, leaving the raft astern. The skull and crossbones- -=- -=- -=- "Captain-" interrupted the first mate, who was listening to the Captain's tale with the others in the inn, with a sigh - "there were no skull and crossbones." "Well, there may as well as have been!" returned the Captain. "If the Mardierian shan't show their true piratical colours it only makes them more the villains for it!" "Well then, no skull and crossbones. But as I was saying, I glared at that scrupulous villain until my eyes nearly popped out o' my sockets, while we were slowly left farther and farther behind..." -=- -=- -=- A few minutes more, and the raft rolled along alone on the bosom of the great blue sea... To be continued... The next installment of that duel collab with Titus which has been in the works for way too long! This was an MRCA result build I always wanted to do (ever since last January ) but never got around to until now. A couple more pictures of the microships (some of the designs stolen pretty ruthlessly from some of KB's great designs!): And a shot of the whole other build, for the curious (no, the sky definitely was not photoshopped ): Kudos to anyone who can guess what famous event/picture the second build here was (roughly) inspired by! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  5. Dark Green Inn, Port Wilks... Myles Bowditch leaned back comfortably in his seat. The Fog Breaker had just dropped in at the ETWC's new settlement of Port Wilks earlier that day, and was now riding at anchor in the harbor, though Myles was hoping to be back out and continuing his trade run to Weelond with the morning tide. The Winged Shield Inn, or Dark Green Inn, as those that stopped by often expressively called it, was one of the first buildings to be built in the settlement, and was certainly quite well-frequented by those that had settled there and sailors who stopped in at the port. It was a capital place either to get a good meal or to find a comfortable bed for the night. Myles was just getting on to the end of his meal when a commotion was heard outside, the door burst open... And Captain Whiffo strode in, looking and sounding very much like his usual self. Expectant glances and a few winks passed around the room. Whenever Captain Whiffo strode in to such a place, one could be sure of a good, adventure-filled tale before the night was out. He stepped up to the counter. "Your largest glass of chocolate, mate," he whispered to the master, who winked back at the well-known Captain. Then Captain Whiffo turned around, and, spotting Myles sitting at the table by himself, pulled up a small stool and joined him. "How do you do, my dear Captain?" Myles inquired. "Quite well, mate, quite well," replied Captain Whiffo, but grinning over mysteriously at the same time. Just then, an old acquaintance of the Captain's caught sight of him, and, waving, stepped on over. "Why good day there, my old Captain Whiffo!" exclaimed his ex-first mate from many a year ago - "It's been far too long since I've caught the sight o' you! How goes it?" The master of the house came up and handed the Captain a large tankard of hot chocolate, and, seeing that the Captain was about to begin a tale of some sort or another, stayed by to listen. "Oh! I've been through quite the lot of it since I've last had you in my deadlights, mate!" exclaimed the Captain. "I tell ye, it's a long, thrilling tale of adventure, duels, piratical villains, and rivaling trade companies from the beginning to end!" A bit of a crowd by now had gathered around the little group - and even the strange fellow over in the corner who Myles had noticed earlier perked up and looked attentive. "Well then," began the Captain mysteriously, taking a draught of his chocolate and placing the tankard back down on the table, "here goes for the tale of Captain Whiffo's Duel..." To be continued... A few more pics: The counter: A closeup of one side: The waiter: And a final overview: Well! I've had this build in the works for quite a while (and this storyline planned for even longer!), and I hope it's been worth the wait! I figured that a large inn would be a good place to start for any settlement, and since my duel with TitusV was supposed to have happened quite some time ago (back in March, or thereabouts), I thought it would be a good idea to play it out as a story from the Captain instead of as if it was happening at the moment. Titus and I (especially me ) have got a whole storyline to roll out here in the next few... months? ... so keep your eyes peeled for the next few sections, hopefully to come soon! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome as always!
  6. "...As for Royal Properties, I suggest that we send out a letter signed by the members of the Colonial Council to every settlement of Eslandola, asking for voluntary aid for the construction of three Royal Properties for the faction... and the third between the first of December and the last of February of the year 618..." History, my dear folks, is in the making! Just a small build to celebrate Captain Whiffo's first proposal in the Colonial Council - which passed, naturally, and with flying colours - especially as it had to do with minimizing taxes... The Chandelier: Among others who voted for the proposal (from left to right, below) we find here Mr. Jerome Monezterrell, Captain Whiffo (though, actually, he didn't vote himself...), Myles Bowditch, Mr. Aaron van der Meede, Captain Philip Janszen, General Samu, and Colonel Oystridge, some of the leading members of Eslandola, and all delegates in the Colonial Council. One more overview: And lastly, a shot of the delegates by themselves - I was quite happy that I was able to get at least one from each delegation which voted for the proposal in, even with so little room! A couple of other things... The windows are based on Elostirion's excellent design for the Parliamentary seat in Montario (Lion Hall) with only minor changes (which would also be where this build takes place), and the hat rack was ruthlessly stolen borrowed straight from Ayrlego's design in his latest build Thanks for viewing, all, C&C are welcome!
  7. On a peaceful dock beside Pontelli... While he was still awaiting the arrival of his first mate with the new ETWC ship, the Fog-Breaker from Terreli, Captain Whiffo had heard that a certain ex-pirate ship was likely to go cheap - and that it had true rat-lines. To tell the truth, that was really what interested him. At any rate, after seeing to the new ETWC oat plantation, he headed off to meet with Guy Wyndzon's used ship dealer on his favorite section of the docks besides Pontelli. It was peaceful spot situated right next to the as yet untamed jungle of the island, and was a perfect place for running a good deal, the Captain thought. But then, anywhere is a good place for that to an Eslandolan... "Good day, sir," exclaimed the agent as Captain Whiffo strolled up the wooden boardwalk, "I hear you're interested in our ship, the previous White Skull." "Precisely, sir," replied Captain Whiffo,"I have quite the feeling to go off on a privateering mission against those villainous Mardierians at the moment, you see." "Ah!" replied the dealer, though in truth the only thing he saw were money signs. "Well sir, I've been told that the minimum price is 100 Doubloons." "Humph," resumed the Captain pensively, "I'll offer 101, then." The agent grinned. "I'm sorry to tell you, but somebody has already offered 105 DBs." "Oh, well then, say 110." "Somebody else has already bid 115, I'm afraid," the dealer commented cheerily. "Ho-hum," retorted Captain Whiffo making accounts for the next likely bid, "make it 126, then." The agent grin only widened. "Begging your pardon, somebody else's bid that too, sir." "Ba!" exclaimed Captain Whiffo, turning away and flipping his sword in the air, "150 is about my last offer then, you rascal!" "160?" asked the dealer, opening his book and looking thoughtful. . Captain Whiffo tapped his foot and raised an eyebrow, and fiddled with the large blue gem he had pulled out. "Beautiful bird over there, don't you think, sir? Well, good day to-" "Ratlines?" interrupted the dealer. "Mardierians? Adventure? Profit?" "You rapscallion!" exclaimed the Captain. "155." "Deal!" And of course he had it, for the fact was, Captain Whiffo had come with 175 Doubloons to spend in the first place anyhow... And oh, but on the other side, after a few more such deals... Yo-ho-ho, a pirate's Eslandolan's life for me! Ahem, yes, sorry, I really couldn't resist! Built just to move on my story here a little and to explain the purchase of the (now unfortunately no longer extant) White Skull. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  8. Shortly before heading off to the docks of Pontelli to check out a new small armed sloop while waiting for his first mate to return from Eslandola's Old World capital of Terelli... Captain Whiffo strode up and down the porch in ecstacy, gazing out across the large, verdant plantation now covered with ready-to-harvest oats. The workers scurrying hither and yon (under the watchful eyes of their monkey supervisors which Mayor da Pontelli had provided, of course) were an absolute pleasure to behold. The East Trade Wind Company had finally taken the large step he had meditated so long, and in no time it would assuredly be as large, powerful, and rich in the new world as it ever was in the old! (One of the monkey supervisors on his courier:) Wheels rattled along the road and the Captain looked up intelligently, if not mysteriously (mostly, you see, because he loved mystery, not because there was any real mystery in the whole affair). For once he was not carrying his beloved cutlass, as he was not sure but that it would get in the way while showing de Chauncourtois' niece about the house and new plantation which she had come out to see (though he was sorely inclined to regret leaving it behind as its clanking was the only thing missing - he thought - to perfect the sensation of mysteriousness) - but he might as well as have spared his pains, for he could have known from previous experience that his cutlass and his habit of rapping it on his hook and smashing it into everything was a constant source of amusement to de Chauncourtois' good-humored niece. The carriage rolled to a stop just before the door - and Captain Whiffo, throwing the cutlass with an effort out of his mind (for the present), bowed slightly and offered her his hand. "Good day, miss, shall I show you inside?" ...Speaking of which! - Let's go inside, shall we? Originally I had only been planning on the hinging wall, but in the end, the roof was detachable as well, so thankfully the interior was very easy to take pictures of! It is furnished with a large kitchen, Some furniture... An instrument - And a good-sized (if not over-sized ) fireplace: A few closeups: The pig-pen (the colors of which were inspired especially by Ayrlego's recent challenge entry, along with the rest of that collab)... And a final overview: And, I've finally finished! Just about ever since the launch of the Brethren of the Brick Seas I've been meaning to build a large plantation for the ETWC, but only recently have I been able to actually get around to planning and building it. Here's my section of the collab with Captain Braunsfeld (be sure to check out his excellent section here) for Eslandola's East Trade Wind Company. It took a great deal longer than I was hoping for (mostly due to RL), but I'm rather happy with how it turned out, and it was definitely fun (and somewhat challenging at times) to attempt to make it clearly part of the same plantation and yet give it my own touch (well, I suppose that last part came pretty naturally! ) Special thanks to Captain B for working on this collab and waiting very patiently for my side here to be complete! Credit goes to Gideon for the door design and to Legopard for the chair (slightly altered here), and the carriage is a modification of the one found in LEGO's excellent POTC London Chase. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  9. A couple of days ago on the Eslandolan island of Nelissa: It was a calm, peaceful day at the ETWC headquarters in Pontelli... Without, the citizens of Pontelli strolled leisurely about - a 'prentice boy chased after his run-away chicken, and a now well-to-do printer of our acquaintance carried off the latest news to his press in subdued excitement. Inside, Myles and Alberto da Pontelli, the mayor of the town, talked energetically of math and scientific experiments, as well as of the best ways to navigate the seas, and how well the ETWC was doing on its trading. The monkey seemed to be discussing the benefits of having four hands when it came to food with the second mate... In short, it was a normal day in the ETWC headquarters, when suddenly a commotion was heard outside, and the door - which had thankfully been unlocked - burst in with a crash. "Pshaw!" exclaimed Captain Whiffo with a breathless gasp. "What ever are you all doing! Haven't you heard the news?!" "What news, sir?" replied the first mate with a grin. "I'm afraid the news has been flying about recently in such quantities that it is really a bit hard to keep track of it all! Nevertheless, the outcome of all the news is the same - Eslandola is the great faction and most intriguingly wonderful nation upon earth- but that is hardly news, you know." "Ha, sirrah!" broke in the Captain with a gesture of his hook hand - "If you don't know what news I'm talking of your less of an Eslandolan than I thought you! What do you think it is?! The King has gone off and rocked himself mad!" "In short, sirs," he continued, shaking his hook hand at the mayor, not for any particular reason, "allow me to give you a quick Eslandolan lesson on profit, and how to make it! - a neighboring nation of happy, contented Oleanders will trade much better than a heap of mopes - for whatever else I might think, I doubt those Oleander fellows have enough sense to appreciate the benefits of living under the Eslandolan flag - and our King would do much better to sit in Terelli ruling over all of us, than bothering to rule over those mad fellows as well (for you know, if they weren't mad, they'd be Eslandolan, obviously). Whatever is to become of our excellent trade with Granoleon if all the Oleander princes flee at the sight of a green coat?!" "Sir," interjected the first mate with a wink, "I hear the demand for nightcaps in Granoleon is about to skyrocket." "Pshaw!" exclaimed Captain Whiffo, "bring a nightcap along with you than, Mr. Bowditch, sir, for we sail for Terelli at a moment's notice!" "Aye, aye, sir!" replied the latter. "And I just gave you that moment's notice, by the way," concluded the Captain - "we sail out with the tide!" "And that is," he added, sticking his head back in the door for a second, "in five minutes!" Out he dashed as quickly as he had come in, leaving the rest to gather the crew in the time allotted as best as possible. But of course, there was no problem with that - Eslandolans never need two quick Eslandolan lessons on profit! (In fact, they don't even need one - they just like talking about it... ) A couple more shots: A little reaction build from me to show what the ETWC thinks of King Fernando Augusto VIII's little excursion, and it will be licenced by said trade company as a small commerce in Pontelli. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
