  2. Meet Olivier Thibaut. He is a farmer's boy, growing up in a remote, rural area of central Oleon. It's a quiet and beautiful place he calls his home, far away from all world's troubling affairs. But Olivier is 16 years of age, a young man, and although still a child at mind his dreams are big. He wants to be out there. He wants to see more of this world. However, Olivier is bound by his family's values and by regional traditions. 'Change' is not a favorite term of most. Yet ever since fantastic stories of new lands across the vast sea are spreading - along with rumors of all their promises, riches and adventures - all he can think of is travel - and new shores. What will the future hold for Olivier? Well, only time will tell. In fact... I will... but later Most of the freebuilds to follow will bare some connection to Olivier's story, be that by direct interaction, places visited or people met, although not from the beginning, since parts of his story are way older than the rules of BoBS, and now merging both 'worlds' will need a little time. Also, as you might guess, this is going to be an all digital approach to this venture. Rest assured however, that it is my personal challenge that everything could be build in real bricks unless stated otherwise. On that subject, in this build the tiny flag on the fort would not work, but could be replaced by a minifigure hand or whatnot. Oh, and here's a bird's view of that little scene. Thanks for watching, C&C welcome.
  3. Looking out his window, Lord Maximilian Damaximus saw the "Margot" in front of the bay of Stedor. Fully equiped with 55 guns. Although they still are working on the rigging, he couldn't wait until she was seaworthy. He sighed, last month trade run was terrible. The "Knight of Stedor" had to return to it's first port, the "Appleseed" sunk and the "Sulky Harlequin" made only 98 db's profit (divided by 10 shareholders, that was almost nothing). If he ever wanted to get a licence for "Margot", it would take ages at the current revenues. Although the "Sulky Harlequin" made a terrible run, the way CSC licenced her was an example of innovation. And Maximilian was sure the odds will change the upcomming trade run! Time to do some business with the Corringtonlalanders. At the Stedorian Quays, the "Purple Rain" was packing some tradegoods. A decent fast and well-armed ship, ready to rock'n roll! -------------------------------- Captain Matt Lenoir was looking over the stern to Stedor. His new ship the "Purple Rain" just set sail to Terelli. He loved Stedor, the white harbor, the vibrant atmosphere, the dangerously looking fortress and especially the Governal Palace on the mountain, watching over the Bay. He looked to the Licence in his hands and smiled. Finally he had a decent ship under his command! Lord Maximilian Damaximus gave him even 2 Elite Guards to protect the ship. And as it is a joint-venture with some Corrington investors, two Corrington soldiers are on board as well. Even an important Corrington scientist has aboarded to join the journey! => the Corrington Scientist => Some of the cargo (there are some of the finest Felipe de la Manzana's apples in the cargo as well, but they can't be seen in this picture) => Captian Matt Lenoir ---------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching!!! the "Purple rain" is a 8-gun Xebec, which will be licenced as a Class 4 T2. C&C ofcourse welcome!! Here is the list of shareholders: The terms of the shareholders (Thanks to Bregir!) Can the shareholders please confirm they transferred the 45 db's to my account? (transaction form)

    [OL - FB1] A Small Shipyard

Hi guys, I'd like to present my first freebuild here, for the glorious Empire of Oleon. It's a small shipyard in the vicinity of the city of Breshaun. Small shipbuilding facilities such as this one have sprung up in the dozens all over Le Bellan to meet the demand for ships these days. Although being simple stations without the grandeur and vivacity of the large 'Royal Shipyards', they are a vital part of Oleon's plans for expansion in the new world. In fact they are part of the 'Royal Shipyards' system and fulfill a dual purpose. Firstly they relieve the larger facilities from both construction and maintenance of smaller vessels, freeing the hands and minds of the master shipwrights there, enabling them to focus on the planning and execution of more capital ships. But in addition, these small stations are being led by dedicated junior shipwrights single-handedly as part of a teaching program. Those that excell in the duties thrusted upon them are awarded the status of master shipwright, thus increasing the shipbuilding potential of the nation even with sparse resources. Here's some more: Hope you guys like it, C&C welcome. Vive le Roi!
  5. Lt.Wolf was able to pull some strings: The contract for transporting the Queen´s Rifles to the colonies was awarded to member of his family: Captain Burt Wolfson and his small cog Eliza. Captain Wolfson is talking with Lt.Wolf on the forecastle. Midships, Rifleman Henderson has problems with seasickness. Licensed as a 1T. This is my third freebuild this month,if you like it please approve!
  6. Traditionally seen, 2016 starts in Belgium with Brick Tricks in Tielt. It is a rather small local exposition with a nice atmosphere. 5 years ago, it was the very first event Captain Greenhair participated. And to celebrate it, he came back this year! And he even took the very godfather of fregates, the tutorial and inspiration for most of us! So it turned out we would be both on the exposition, we agreed to make the very first BoBs collab in history!!! Too bad we soon discovered we both are Eslandolan... So Corrington and Oleon might be underrepresented... Anyway, enjoy!!! Btw, the weekend of 12 & 13th November, the biggest exposition of Belgium takes place, in Antwerp. For this year, we are going for a BOBS Pirate lay-out of 100 square meter!!! We really are going for the biggest pirate lay-out ever! So if you want to be part of this, feel free to send me a message :D :D A global picture I also made some promotion, so maybe we'll get some new members in the future :D Some extra pictures Enjoy! (btw, is this a freebuild of both CGH and me or not?)
  7. First part of the story ... Captain Ben D'Anvers was relieved when he saw a little settlement. They survived the unknown jungle they had to go through. But once arrived in the hamlet, he saw he took too few soldiers with him. He never imagined he would run into such a big community. Those vikings must breed kids like rabbits!! Somewhere in the middle of the hamlet, the longest (erm...) longhouse stood next to a campfire. It was very nice detailed with even golden accents. Based on the quality of their weaponry and those gold touches, there should be some mines around the hamlet... Very interesting... Luckily for Ben, the Vikings were very friendly and even really gratefull they saw for the first time in ages some people from a world that became a fantasy for them. A man with red horns on his helmet came outside the longhouse and started talking blablabla as Ben didn't understand a word. With hands and feet and a small chicken, they managed to greet eachother. After a few hours of making strange moves and sounds, Captain Ben understood he wouldn't come anyfurther. Time to go back home and return with a translator from Corrington! To be continued? Depends on your votes hahaha :D C&C welcome!

  9. The Queen`s Rifles first attempt at exploration was not successful. The island was inhabited by angry spear maidens.
  10. Freebuild #2 Feb. 2016 Previously, Susieh and her crew were monkeying around with an escape plan. They bribed a monkey with a banana in exchange for the cell key. After opening the cell lock with key, they sneaked out and headed towards the Mardierian Harbour to find their ship, the White Skull. At the harbour or rather under the harbour, we found our Sea Rats using a tried and true technique for ship theft. They quietly climbed up the anchor chain. Once on deck, Susieh overpowered the unlucky guard. Her crew quickly gained control of the White Skull. Susieh felt good to have her ship back as they sailed away from Mardierian territory. She wanted to give Mardier the finger but LEGO hands didn't seem to have fingers for pirates to make rude gestures. She sighed and gave a goodbye wave.
  11. Dramatis Personae: Holy crap! How much further do we have to walk in this jungle?! My mosquito bites have mosquito bites! Bear with it for just a little while longer, Lucy. It appears that this path is leading to something more significant. OH! There it is! Given the feminine nature of this statue, it would appear that the Choochoochootuklukchoo people worshipped this goddess to bolster the fertility of the civilization. I'll say! I'm feeling my fertility being quite bolstered by standing in front of her! PHYSIOLOGY!!! Hold it! Wait! Aren't we supposed be locked up in a Mardier prison, according to the latest issue of the Kings Port Advertiser? Yes, yes, that. Well, Challenge 1 is due before the Freebuild to explain what happened in the MCRA Result from last month, so we are doing this scene first. TIME TRAVEL!!! Oh shut up, Alois! Wait...wha-what is Peacock doing to the statue?! FORNICATION!!! That...that's indecent! We...we can't show that here! Stop him, Professor, stop him! He's desecrating an ancient ruin! You stop him, Lucy. I'm not getting in the way of that. Comments and criticisms are all welcome!
  12. On the journey back from the new island, Micah and his crew put the "Flying Colt" in at New Terrelli. While in port, they saw a beautiful cutter that had for sale flyers posted. The partners convened together and decided to use some of the gold they had discovered to purchase this vessel. It would raise less questions to spend the money as merchants in Eslandola then back in Arlinsport. They sent the "Flying Colt" on without them on a trade mission under the escort of the Eslandolan "Queen of Terelli". Unbeknownst to them, the "Flying Colt" was almost seized by privateers. However, the "Queen of Terelli" rescued them. After spending a week repainting and fitting the cutter, Micah and the partners set off with a few new sailors back to Arlinsport. The ship was rechristened the "Alexander" after Micah's father whose business and protection they were sailing under. The "Alexander" proved to be a fast vessel and got them to Arlinsport in superb time. This is my third free build this month so please let me know if you approve. Maxim, I am licencing this cutter to Micah (Silent Wolf) as a 2F. Previous builds: Intro: Silent Wolf FB: "Flying Colt" Ch1 CatA: Ahoy, Fishermen! FB: Back at the Ranch... 13. Gideon Saulse de Bothnia has bought a small dwelling in Breshaun on LeBellan to serve as his initial base for his venture into New Terra. He is proudly displaying the crest of his family on the house, which however seems to be in need of some repairs. (OoC: This build started out as an attempt to build half-stud offset cracked whitewashed walls plus as a test of a dark orange-medium dark flesh roofing technique. I will license this as a small residence as soon as I get the hang of the EGS rules)
  14. Challenge 1 B Banana Republic by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Our pirate Susieh and her crew came upon a small island in Terra Nova. Danger appeared to lurk on the island. Upon landing on the beach, our pirates smelled a sweet intoxicating banana vapour and followed the scent to a group of natives. They seemed friendly enough. Susieh proceeded to negotiate a trade. Susieh drove a hard bargain with the native islanders. The islanders sought more bananas for their Master Brewer.
  15. This build is made in order to sceal the peace treaty between Corrington, Eslandola and the Berelli natives called the Ténotclaxcans. It is a Banana plantation built in Berelli by the Ténotclaxcans, and earned by Felipe de la Manzana in the Corrington Territory of Port Raleigh. The Peace treaty proposition is here : Diplomatic Meeting. Bananas for peace : In the near vicinity of Port Raleigh, Pinya and some Ténotclaxcans men are developping a little banana exploitation. While some men are carying the flowers upon the trees, and some are collecting bananas, Pinya is drying the fruits and cutting the floral edge in order to prevent the bananas from spoiling. In this tropical atmosphere, everything is spoiling so fast ! She had recently made an agreement with those strange men from the west and it was decided to share a Banana plantation, her Banana plantation... So it was her mother decision, Pinya had to agreed, but she asked new men to help from MAESTRO and she had them ! Finally, they were not so stupid sailors... Some of them were really capable of working the land ! Basil, escorted by a guard, arrived with a gift... - Hi Pinya ! Why don't you drop these stone vasks and try our best barrels ? - Barrels ? Asked Pinya ? Those wooden round thing you always use ? - Yes ! I brought one to you. Try it... - Ok, Yes why not... - Hey that's not bad ! Said surprised Pinya. I will use yours barrels then... They are great invention ! Give me more of them ! - Ok ! Answered Basil, I will have to open an artisan barrel maker shop in Elysabethtown... Suddenly, someone arrived, well escorted, from Port Raleigh. - Ah ! Nice to see the Banana plantation is ready to send some fruits ! said Lord Erie Flynn. Our Queen will be satisfied ! She is said in great need of this fruit, well, according to the newspaper, and you know they are sometimes good lyers ! Anyway, continued Lord Flynn, we will take care of the fruits by now, we will transfer them to our trading ship ! Make the peace between our great nations be fruitfull !
  16. After much pain and hurry, here is my answer to the Duel: Feast at "The Spin of Fate". Now a free-build by itself! Hugo wasn't eager to fight with Elysabeth Drondil as, due to his character, took it lightly as every other thing in his life. Or was arrogant enough and was sure he would win? So one day before the duel, he called his friends from the fleet for a drink, at "The Spin of Fate", where the drinks are cold and the girls are hot! The establishment took its name after the wheel (of fortune) that you can see right above the door that leads to the kitchen. That wheel belonged to the first owner of this place that came to the Sea of Storms with all his belongings on a cart. I had tons of fun making this build, which reminded me once more that i am a huge minifig and acessories lover and have the fig-fever. If you see some color deviations, it is because with this MOC, my brick stash is officially depleted with all this building the past month and all i have left is black and gray bricks Enjoy and sorry if you have an eye-sore after watching due to dim yellow lighting but couldn't wait till morning (job is killing me! hehehe) Thanks again! feast at The Spin of Fate by Spy Tha, on Flickr feast at The Spin of Fate foldout by Spy Tha, on Flickr feast at The Spin of Fate closeup by Spy Tha, on Flickr
  17. Challenge 1 A A band of natives on a small island in Terra Nova has a pretty intoxicating operation going on hidden in the jungle. They brew special banana juice. It is rumored to be more tasty than rum and knock you off the feet instantly. To brew this wonderful concoction large amounts of bananas are needed. Maybe more than they have on their island. Banana Juice by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Does this mean they will be raiding a planation somewhere?
  18. Lord Alexander's horse business would not be complete without a way to draw in new customers. What better way than to have a blacksmith shop to serve the community? Whenever anyone in Arlingsport needed a new horse, Alexander's horse business immediately was spoken of. They also spoke favourably of his son Micah's fair management of the business. Gregory the blacksmith enjoyed his work. Early in the morning the shop, he would head to the shop to start for the day. By the time Charles would come by with a horse to be shod, Gregory would already be working with his bellows and hammers making some new iron design for usage in the houses of Arlinsport. 19. After the long trip of exploration, Micah was happy to be back in Arlinsport. He promptly dressed up and made his way over to the home of his fiancee's parents. Upon his announcement, Elizabeth quickly made her way to the door. He had much to tell her. SAM_6914 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr SAM_6918 by Micah Van Gorp, on Flickr I attempted a technique for the house siding that I hadn't done before. I am not entirely thrilled with how it turned out, but it did give a semblance of a clapboard house. Advice and critique is welcome. 20. Felipe sent a letter to Lord Flynn before his departure to his dreadly trade run : Letter to Lord Erie Flynn, Lord of Port Raleigh, Governor of the Corrington territories of Annetta (a.k.a. Berelli) from El Senor Felipe de la Manzana, citizen of Eslandola, member of MAESTRO, Ambassador for the eslandian affairs in Berelli, and from Lady Zumo de Kapayas, High priestess of the Ténotclaxcans, representant of the chief Azuma. Copy for the archives for Eslandola High Archives and for Her Majesty of Corrington's Archives. Mylord, It appeared you have founded a new settlement you named Port Raleigh along the River Queens in Berelli/Annetta. Our two great Nations are in peace and are even more linked with the help of some trading agreements we signed from both sides. Your position in Berelli is welcome if it is made in peace. The natives of Berelli, the Ténotclaxcans are peaceful people, our Nation is linked to them by the MAESTRO company. Although some Ténotclaxcans attacked Corlanders who were bringing weapons in foraging party, our will, for both Eslandola and the Natives, is to bring you a message of peace. We are asking you to join in a Diplomatic Meeting Lady Zumo de Kapayas and Lord Basil de Eslandola, representant of El Senor Felipe de la Manzana. We hope the Meeting will be the first step in a fruitfull cooperation between Corrington, Eslandola and the Ténotclaxacans. Yours, Lord Felipe de la Manzana. And so, Lord Erie Flynn sent a Corlander official representant at the meeting : - Welcome Mylord, Said Basil and Zumo de Kapayas. - We are here in the village of Zum'heria in order to clarify the situation that is threatening peace in Berelli, or Annetta if you prefer. Continued Basil. - The situation is against MAESTRO's interests, and it's against our Nations interests. We do not want to fight against the natives here since they are peaceful peasants and fishermen. We, MAESTRO, have made an agreement with the Ténotclaxcan tribe, main tribe of the island, that all MAESTRO member and all Eslandian citizen will not bring fire weapons in the territories ruled by the tribe. We are just asking to you, from your side, to do the same : to make that every Corrington citizen will not bring fire weapons in the territories the tribe of the Ténotclaxcans is ruling. Finally, Basil read the text prepared by Felipe : - In order to seal such an agreement, Eslandola Trade Company MAESTRO, by the way of Senor Felipe de la Manzana and the Ténotclaxcans, by the way of Lady Pinya, daughter of Lady Zumo de Kapayas, are offering to Port Raleigh to build a Banana plantation for the Queen who is said pregnant and in great need of this golden fruit. In exchange of what Corrington is agreed to not armed Port Raleigh and to join MAESTRO in a global Privateering force of defense of Berelli/Annetta made of volonteers and made of Native warriors. Made the 7th of February, 616 Hope you like ! I tryed a forced perspective build in order to render the meeting less borring... By this build I am also asking to Ska if : - First : is it OK for you if I build a Banana Plantation for your settlement ? - Secondly :Is it possible to put the Ténotclaxcans officially in the map ? - Third : are you ok to build in partnership with MAESTRO some military/privateer builds ruled by the 2 factions here ? - Finally : is there a way to share between nations the fees of the common builds or the cost of the privateers ? Don't hesitate to PM me if this leading to a problem.
  21. Another fine Corrington national is looking to join the Empire's exploration and expansion effort - William "Daring Billy" Dodger. The son of a respected architect, Billy has recently graduated from the Belson Royal Engineering University, where he was known for his practical jokes and some rather unsuccessful experiments in the development of a safer type of gunpowder. Billy is now pursuing his lifetime dream: a career in the powerfull Corrington Navy. To this end, he has used his professor's connections to get an audience with a renown Navy admiral. "Uhm.. yes... well.. your references are certainly uhm... impressive... uhm.. Well, I suppose I could always use a decent engineer. We're quite short of hands, with everyone in the country losing their bloody minds and heading east to the New World and all... Uhm.. Well... Let me think.... Ah! I think I've got the perfect assigment for you! Follow me to the shipyard." "One of our captains found this ship abandoned and adrift near Tiberia. It's a little banged up and all, but still quite.. uhm.. seaworthy. The shipyard can't keep up with the demand for new ships, so we're refitting this one. You know.. uhm.. the weirdest thing happened, one of the crew that found her almost had his uhm.. foot bitten of by a crocodile that had crawled on board." "What was the ship called, admiral?" "Oh.. uhm.. the Saint Vitus Dance... Our intelligence suggests she was under command of an inexperienced captain by the name of.. uhm.. Croquet.. but never returned from a trade run" "I see" "Bloody Oleon scum with their weird names... But we're renaming her Torrent. I want you to oversee the overhauling. See if you can make this uhm.. primitive piece of crap.. into something worthy of the Corrington navy." "Aye sir!" And so Billy sets of, drawing up plans and overseeing the construction process. And two weeks of hard work later, the Torrent is ready for inspection by the admiral. Billy, however, has a little joke in mind to play on the admiral.... "Well sir, there she is! I made some changes to the rigging as well. The first sea trials were a bit dissapointing though...." "What the?!?!" "Stand still so I can cut off your head! You good for nothing bungler!" "Whaaaa! It's a joke, admiral, it's just a joke!" One beating and two hours reconfiguring the rigging later.... "She's a fine ship Billy, she'll be a fine addition to the merchant fleet. I could use someone like you on the crew!" "Thanks lieutenant.. But I'm not sure the admiral is keen on having me in the Navy though..." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In real life of course, the Torrent and St Vitus Dance are two different builds, but similar enough to conceivably be transformed with some barrels of paint and some minor woodworking. Also, instead of being just a piece of scenery, the Torrent is a sturdy ship with play features, taking me back into my comfort zone. Both the anchor and the tackle are functionial, and can be controlled by either turning the capstan or the little knob at the back of the ship. Switching between the two functions is done by turning the barrel in front of the foremast. Implementing these features in a small prefab hull was a real challenge! Oh, and Lego, could you make those technic 2x8 plates in brown please? She is armed with four 12-pounders, and a large cargo hold, fitting a class 3 trade ship. The sails are waterproof and tearproof paper, so they will probably last me a while. The stern with the dinghy removed. The black gear can be pulled out 2 studs length and then drives the capstan mechanism. The quarter galleries turned out quite nice. I may have to redesign the stairs to the poop deck though. More pics in the Brickshelf gallery! (Edit: typo)
  22. "Where are we going? We've been wandering around this island for God knows how long." "Burnet, for the last time, we are exploring this island for the ETWC, and Eslandola. Just keep walking." Alfonso was exploring an island, together with Gray Beard, his mentor/friend/second in command, and Burnet, a soldier. Gray Beard wasn't his real name, but everybody called him that way. "But my feet hurt and I'm hungry," Burnet complained. "Are you a proud soldier? Is this the way they train new recruits now? When we get back, I really need to speak the soldiers in command at that training centre. This is unacceptable." Gray Beard shouted at the soldier. He continued mumbling for the next half hour. They came across a small path in the low cliffs at the coast. Burnet decided to check it out. "What you do here? This is sacred land. No entry for strangers." They heard from on top of the cliffs. Burnet quickly used his gun as a shield, because one of the guys stabbed at him with his spear. "Burnet, Gray Beard, put your weapons down, no need to hurt anyone." Alfonso said. He turned towards the natives. "We do not mean to harm you, we didn't know this land was sacred. Please, lay down your weapons, we could talk." "This is sacred land. No entry for strangers." The native repeated. They didn't lay down their weapons. In fact, they prepared to attack. "Alright, no need to attack. Come on, Burnet, Gray Beard, let's go. No need for us to die here." Alfonso, Burnet and Gray Beard quickly made their way back around the island to their ship. This wasn't a succes. Here are the pictures. This is my entry, won't be able to make an entry for Challenge 1B. Maybe I can make something for challenge 2, but not sure yet. Hope you like it.
  23. Captain Genaro

    [OL - FB1] Orders

I meant to post this last month, but got caught up with work. I am particularly interested in criticism on the furniture, as that is something that I have never built a lot of in the past. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Captain Anthony Genaro" announced the steward. With his hat under his left arm, Captain Genaro paused and bowed towards the idol of Poseidon on the mantle before immediately turning towards the commandant's desk and the unknown gentleman, a scowl on his face, sitting behind it. "I'm afraid, sir, that I have not yet made your acquaintance," said Genaro, standing resolute. "Humph, and a small wonder, too. Shaggy, unshaven, and a wig that doesn't even properly cover the whole head" observed the stranger just loud enough for Genaro to hear. "I am Monsignor Befort de Granoleon, assistant to His Majesty's representative. Yes, I know you are meeting with Commandant Millet, but he is indisposed of, and as his assistant, I am taking all his appointments for the time being." The Admiralty Without offering a seat to Genaro, Befort rummaged through the papers that littered the desk, came up with a folded letter, and handed it to Genaro. Taking a sip of wine (which Befort had also declined to offer to Genaro), Genaro began to read the letter and was astonished by what he saw. "Surly there has been a mistake!" exclaimed Genaro. "It appears that I have been the Little Hermes, a mere merchantman." Looking up from his paperwork, Befort paused and stared at Genaro. "You are an officer in the King's fleet and a servant to the crown, and you shall do as he and his representatives command." "This command may be fitting of a lieutenant, but I am a proper post-captain and am entitled to," Genaro began to object. "You are entitled to nothing, Captain" interrupted Befort, "you may either take this command or you may deny it. It makes no difference to me, but do hasten with your decision as you are not the only appointment I have today." The Admiralty Minutes later, a furious Captain Genaro exited the Admiralty building, orders for the Little Hermes in hand. It may have been a blackguardly offer, but Genaro's heart longed for the sea (and the full pay that came with it), and you couldn't turn down a command without being blacklisted for years to come.
  24. Jan 31st, 615 AE Parakeet, At Sea Dear Brother, Yesterday the Parakeet sprung a leak. We were obliged to beach her in a convenient, protected cove. With her hove down and the cargo landed, we were able to come at the hole and affect a temporary repair. We took the opportunity to careen her as we also found a fair amount of weed. I begin to understand why Old Bill was so willing to wager her in last month's game of piquet. She is very fast, but she is old, and frankly many of her planks need replacing. That said, once we've made a few improvements, I believe she will prove an ideal vessel for our new business. Your Humble Servant, Richard Walton, Esq Here are a couple of extra pictures for anyone curious about her devilish construction. She is intended to be a two masted lugger. The three masted lugger was the preferred rig of English Channel smugglers, but I thought that would be far too big for a Class 2F, so I went with a two-master.
  25. This is my attempt at building the end of the Appleseed, LAS during the January MRCA. I don't know how the rule is for this kind of build. Is it also a Freebuild ? And do I have to fill a WebForm ? The end of the Appleseed : Captain Log entry, Day 29 : This was a lovely day at Terreli when we began to load new young appletrees and some good iron weapons from our Capital in order to help to develop the colonies in Nellisa and Berelli. The loading was very effective and we were ready before our escort, the Queen of Terreli, arrived at the bay. Day 30 : The start of our run has been delayed because some of the vessels supposed to join us during the run were not registered ! Ah ! Bl...y administration ! Day 31 : We are well escorted ! The Queen of Terreli fought dangerous smugglers this morning. For what I saw with my spyglass it was a hard fight ! Hopefully the eslandolan warship is not too badly injured. In the afternoon, Juan de Hespérida asked me to make a little detour from our escorted run because he is saying we are near a possible position of the Island of the No-one Orchard, where we could find the Golden Apple ! Since I don't really understand the thing why an island have différent positions or how an island could be here and there I agreed to search a bit around the area Juan had indicated. This is possibly the last line I will write in ths book ! We have been hit by below along the starboard lowdeck ! There is an enormous leak ! I don't know if we can reach the coast... I was sure it wasn't a reef ! There are no reefs around ! Some of the crewmen thought have seen an enormous shadow passed underneath the keel ! ... And so the Appleseed went to the depth of the Ocean ! No one heard about the crew or the captain until now ! Felipe de la Manzana was found harrassed but alive in the coastal beaches of Terreli ! Felipe explained that all the crew is lost, and of course all the cargo ! He managed to survive the shark attacks by throwing them apples just before being eaten ! He said that one shark was nearly to choke after eating an apple ! This is what saved him ! Felipe conclued with this sentence full of wisdom : - This would never happened in an appletree orchard ! And finally here lies the Appleseed : Hope you liked it ! I have to make some precisions : - First : no ships were harmed during this scene. In fact the Appleseed is still built, I just made the rigging better ! - Secondly : this ship did not deserve to sunk ! I am saying that because when I built this MOC, the ship did really escaped my hands and fell but did not broke ! I made it pretty much sturdy ! - Third and last : I will not license her anymore and nobody will be able to ! This is my personal rule when I entered in BoBS : I will not license any Lost At See ship I will loose ! (it's stimulating me to build better vessels !) Thank you for reading.
