  1. Some years ago my friend gifted me Bionicle set 8984 , and I had no idea what to do with it's bulky parts until I had enough pretty red and black brichs that I didn't use in other mocs. Espesially I like that three-leaf piece from one of goblin's plants, I wanted to have nice use of it. Also mecha MOCers like ChybbyBot inspired me very much, I wanted to try to make similar big creature and I had two fun evenings building this one :) To make a story behind I think this beast was builded by goblins for their king to fight Dragon Queen. But she is okay about it because good forces always win! :)

    [MOC] Pinhead and Armstrong

Pinhead, the brains of the group, cares little for his simpleminded partner Armstrong's constant rambling about rabbits... More photos Two MOCs who weren't originally meant for each other. Armstrong was originally meant for a group build and Pinhead was originally named Plague Mech: Fire Ant.

    Teridax: Master of Shadows

"Toa of Light. Now so bold. But at heart you are still just Takua. You failed to save your friend. You didn't even warn him. Perhaps, for your next great failure, a simple game of kohlii? Win and you may try to open the gate. When you lose, l'll have that mask." — Teridax, Mask of Light. This is an occasional MOC made for BBC Contest №75. Once my mate kinda dropped out, I decided to make something for Patricks Biggs Takanuva (his mate kinda dropped out too, so DViddy suggested anyone to join him, in case they want). This MOC was specially made in Pats fancy coat style to fit his Takanuva. It was a pretty fun reverse engineering experience. I paid as much attention to details as I could, though not everything I wanted was released... The key chain is supposed to be a reference to Hau-gate from Mask of Light movie.

    [MOC] Leroy

A small but hardworking toxic waste disposal droid. When he discovers life growing in the most unusual of places, he vows to protect it. Imgur album Leroy was an unusual build as he began as something a bit more sinister. Original I wanted to make an evil brain in a jar, but it wasn't turning out like I hoped. When I noticed that the round shape of his body gave him a softer, gentler look, I decided to give him a little flowerpot to really push it.
  5. My new Lego Gundam MOC, base on a Gundam in season 2 of the series "Mobile suit Gundam 00", piloted by main character. This mobile suit later will attach with the mobile armor 0-Raiser to become 00 Raiser which is very powerful. Name: 00 Gundam Code: GN-0000 Upgrade form: 00 Raiser Pilot: Setsuna F Seiei Power source: 2 GN-Drive (Twin-drive). Series: Mobile suit Gundam 00 Weapon: 2 GN-sword, 2 beam saber. Compare to my previous MOC from "Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans" which i wanted to simple and easy to build the inner frame. This time, i purposely want the frame have more articulation and the out side armor become more accurate to the real design. ***For all articulation and detail, please check the video : No weapon view: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr The twin-drive can be rotated to the front: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can be attach on both sides: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Holding GN-sword: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can transform to gun mode. 6. Pikotu Beetles are small, hungry insectoid rahi found in the dampest places of Le-Wahi. They are most numerous in the Lake Pala area just south of the Tren Krom break, and the Fau Swamp near Kini-Nui. They eat spongy vegetation such as vines and leaves, and love the humid, fresh water areas they live near. Some have a ram-like protrusion from their head, others have a large, horn-like claw. They use these for defense against predators such as brakas and hoi turtles. Click the image for HQ boxart. Full render "Male" (Blue) Full render "Female" (Black) Full render back view (closed) Full render back view (open) Comments and critique welcome. This larger MOC uses parts from pre-2004, some color exceptions were made. The MOC itself has a unique function to unleash it's wings as you lift the elytra. The gear function is fairly simple, and isn't very ergonomic. I originally wanted to make a button feature, but everything collided with the head. The two separate models have almost the same number of parts, the blue one having a single extra piece. I think these are some of my favorite MOCs I've done, even if the function isn't very ergonomic. I hope you enjoy this MOC and the future MOCs I create.

    [Galidor Category B] Nepol

I thought I'd try doing a Bionicle-based head sculpture of one of the more unique looking Galidor characters, Nepol. There's a couple more pics in the album on Flickr.
  8. The Krikuva Mantis is a small, stealthy insect rahi with powerful arms that snatch up prey. They hobble along vines and branches in Le-Wahi's vast jungle, searching for easy prey. Friendly to larger creatures such as matoran, but if threatened, they'll lash out. They shed their armor to brighter colors as they live their lives, from dark greens to vibrant blues or even bright pinks. Click the image for HQ boxart. Full render Green Full render Blue Full render back view GIF of function Comments and critique welcome. This larger MOC uses parts from pre-2004, some color exceptions were made. The MOC itself has a unique function to bring out it's arms and snatch away masks from Toa and other small objects. This is all done from the back gear. This model was also going to have a function where the elytra in the back unfold as wings, but I felt it would make the MOC rickety and awkward to hold. I do, however, have a MOC coming up that uses the design I intended. Masks are supposed to go over the colored heads for eyes. The masks would be clear-cast resin Rau masks, and with the colored heads, it would look like glossy bug eyes. I hope you enjoy this MOC and the future MOCs I create.
  9. The Motma Lizard, a speedy lizard found in Po-Wahi's canyons and straights. They can reach a speed of 2.3 kio an hour, an impressive rate for a medium-sized rahi. On occasion they can be seen in damp caves resting, but they prefer being out in the heat of the desert. Click the image for HQ boxart. Full render Red Full render Tropical Full render side view Comments and critique welcome. This is a relatively small MOC, and contains parts only from pre-2004. The MOC itself does have a function, however, it is very simple. When rolling it across the ground using the wheels on it's front and back segment, the arms move up and down to visually express movement. I hope you enjoy the first of many of my MOCs.
  10. Hey, y'all. I'm Ganto. I've been a fan of LEGO for around 15 years. I'm a big fan of the BIONICLE line. I also enjoy Creator and Technic. I used to make comics on BZPower under the alias "Loganto the Le-Matoran." After 6 years of refinement, my alias and original character, Ganto, has a full backstory, finalized element, and some semblance on originality that isn't outlandish in nature. I'll probably post the full story, if you're interested, in a post of my own original art or something of the sort. Lately I have been making MOCs of 2001-esque BIONICLE creatures, also known as Rahi. I've also been trying some new sprite based comics based on 2005 BZPower comics. I'll probably post those things here if I get a chance. I'm also very active on Discord. If you'd like my handle, PM me. I look forward to browsing these forums, and I hope you enjoy my contributions.

    Spider — Plague Mech: Xi

My entry for Plague Mech contest.
  12. The smallest of Team Artillerix, designed for reconnaissance missions. The horn packs a powerful punch, and can easily flip mechs much larger than itself. Imgur Album Built as part of Jayfa's plague mech contest on Instagram. It's not a very impressive MOC, but It was fun to build. I took inspiration from the Japanese Rhinoceros beetle (and more than a little inspiration from the Pokemon Heracross).
  13. Made for the collab album Tales of the Amaja: https://bioniclefanmusicteam.bandcamp.com/album/tales-of-the-amaja Fun fact: the syncopated sample near the end of the song (where Panrahk and Vorahk appear at the end of the video) is a chopped-up vocal sample from the Bionicle promo CDs.

    [MOC] Zeren

Armed with a sawed-off shotgun and a powerful sniper rifle, this intergalactic bounty hunter is prepared for any threat. Imgur album A MOC I've had since early 2010, finally looking like he belongs in 2018. I really doubled down on the sci-fi soldier influences for this new version, pulling from Samus, Doomguy, Master Chief, and the Titan Spectre armor from Destiny. Special thanks to L.A. Miranda, Constraction Deva, and Djokson for helping to bring this version to life. Their input and techniques went the longest way for this new version, and I couldn't be more grateful.

    Toa Mata Revamps

It's been a long time coming, but I've finally completed my Toa Mata revamps. Group shot by Kalhiki, on Flickr So this was a project that I've been wanting to complete for a while. Basically the goal was to have revamps of all six Toa Mata, however, there were a few conditions to this goal. Mainly, I wanted to use the original feet, weapons and masks since those are the most iconic. In terms of design, they needed the back gear (even though it does nothing here aside from added aesthetics), and they had to be no bigger than the original Toa Mata (actually ended up being shorter). There were some other design aspects I wanted like the chest balljoint (and Gali's socket chest), using the Toa Metru head, and general proportions (Onua and Pohatu). I started the builds with the limbs since I wanted to use that boat stud technique. Once that was done, it was off to the torso. Took me a while to figure out a good waist articulation method, but the Mixel balljoint was definitely the way to go. Overall, it was kinda tough trying to figure out how to build so small. Once I had the limbs, I was pretty much locked at that size. All that was left was to get the parts for everyone (lucked out and found all the Toa sans Pohatu at a flea market), and the end result is what we have here. I'm quite happy with how they turned out. Some colors needed to be altered since they weren't available. Also had to change the eye colors since I wanted to use the Metru heads, but I feel the substitutions made worked out well. Few more pics, spoilers for cleanliness. ONUA POHATU GALI KOPAKA LEWA TAHU More pictures on the Flickr album including front and back shots, and a size comparison.

    [MOC] Aranya

I present to you this little spider monster, simply named Aranya. It was an absolute nightmare to build but the end results were worth it. I think it might be my best MOC to date. Something thats a bit unusual is its front claw/pincers. The whenua claws are dented ever so slightly, and as a result, the pincers click together and stay closed at any angle. You can check it out on Flickr or take a look at the Imgur album for more photos if you like what you see.
  19. Some of you may remember that last fall there was some sort of dicussion concerning a blade piece, which at the time was going to debut in a 2018 Ninjago set. While it clearly looked like a piece designed with constraction in mind, it made its first appearance in a System set. Some of us, me included, thought it could be a hint that something was about to happen in the constraction departement. As we all know, it wasn't the case, but simply because we were looking in the wrong direction: it wasn't a hint about constraction's near future, but about its near past. Infact, once I got my hands on the piece thanks to Bricklink, I immediately noticed a tiny detail... (sorry for potato quality) As you can somewhat see, the piece was trademarked in 2016, and yet we get to see it only in 2018. But why? Because it was a piece designed for BIONICLE G2's third year. Since development of new sets usually happens at least 12 months before they hit stores, it's highly possibile that in late 2015 designers were already working on 2017 sets, and this blade piece was on of those that was fully designed before the decision to axe the line was made. Since it already was in their pool of "trademarked pieces", why not using it? And there we are. Sure, this is not a 100% foolproof theory, but because of the year printed on the blade and the fact we first saw it only in 2018, I don't think there are many other alternatives. Chances are that we might see more "unreleased pieces" in the near future, since it's safe to assume a huge chunk of G2's third year was already designed when the reboot was canned.
  20. Nope, this is not gonna be one of those threads. This one has a tiny, spicy detail to point out. If you search on Google "Bionicle 2019", you'll be redirected to a Brickset page named "Bionicle-Reboot", next to the usual "X Theme Y Year" Brickset displays. Quite strange, since if you search any other future year, from 2020 onwards... ...you only get the generic (empty) page. This is an objectively strange occurrence that might (mind you, might) mean something more interesting. I'm the first one to be intrigued, since until few hours ago I was 100% sure LEGO just wanted to get rid of constraction. But now there's this old curse called hope that has struck me again... Take all of this with a grain of salt, of course. Some of us were sure a new CCBS theme would have come out this year, some others were sure Star Wars CCBS had a bright future. But this time, it looks like we have the right to be delusional.
  21. Things have been pretty dry in here ever since the sudden cancellation of Bionicle's second run, so I thought I'd throw something out there, just to make things a little less dead if not anything else. Maybe it's a dead topic, but just some thoughts: Ever since the end of G2, I've been collecting old G1 sets I missed out on, particularly with canisters (It's a life goal of mine to own 1 of every canister and display them on a wall, but that's a different topic). So I stumbled across a nice lot on eBay which had 10 canister sets of different types for a very reasonable price, so I jumped on it. 3 of them happened to Mistika sets. I didn't own many of those guys back in the day, as I was occupied with the new Star Wars Clone Wars sets at the time. I like to think I've matured since, but I bandwagon hated on these guys (and other things, don't look at my posts from 4-5 years ago please) for quite some time without really giving them a chance. The lot contained Gorast, Bitil, and Gali. Having recently acquired the rest of the Toa and previously owning Krika, I now own a full set of Mistika, And honestly, I kinda like them. The Makuta, which I think most would agree fared better, are pretty great villain sets in my opinion. Each offers a bit of a different build and takes on a character of it's own. It's the Toa that seem to get a lot of hate, so lets talk about them. Starting with Gali, I thought I would despise this set before cracking open the canister and building it. After I did, however, I'm quite happy with it. Does it resemble the original Gali? not really, but I don't think that disqualifies it from being a good set. There could definitely be some more blue, and the mask is, uhh, interesting. But these aren't fatal flaws in my eyes. My main issue comes from the lack of a secondary weapon, as the way the gun is held officially is pretty awkward. Placing it in a single hand, however, makes posing tons of fun in my view. I feel maybe a scythe or spear like weapon could have gone nicely here, but alas. Nothing a few spare parts can't fix though. Onua is my favorite of the litter. The black and silver are balanced, and the red highlights go very nicely with the rest of the set. The other Toa probably could have benefited quite a bit from a little more color like that. Now I complained that having only one weapon was kinda lame with Gali, yet here I think it rocks. The way It's assembled with the black shield thing attached to the gun and the silver shield on Onua"s arm gives me a tanky vibe that I love. Think the heavy from team fortress 2. Not to mention the mask looks badass. all these things combined, and you've got yourself a great set. Tahu Mistika I don't have many excuses for. I guess the mask sorta resembles the Hau with that front thing, but it's pretty ugly otherwise. I'm just not a huge fan of this one. It doesn't pose well to me. The shield is a neat idea, but kinda clunky. I'm still kinda with the haters on this one. These are all just my thoughts of course. By all means, share yours. Are the Mistika horrid abominations? Average sets suppressed by hate memes? or hidden gems?
  22. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what issue, or does anyone have a copy of the piece? I’ve been looking for a while and would love to play the alternate ending! https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_Quest_for_Makuta Photo of alternate ending piece here: http://bionicle-sell...nate_Ending.jpg Please message me if you know anything about the piece! 23. Hello everyone! Today I come bearing a MOC of mine built for an insect contest. It's a golden tortoise beetle (charidotella sexpunctata) made up of just two pieces, sitting on top of a strewn pile of fresh leaves. Here we go! Here's the reference picture. Even the scale is close to the original! Thanks for your attention!
