  1. Hello everyone! I had so much fun making my Toy Story Racers that I simply had to make some for one of my other favorite themes, Super Heroes! I decided to do the DC ones first and as always I designed each racer to reflect the theme/personality of its driver. You may notice that I had to substitute some of the minifigs with customs since I don't have them or that I replaced some with the old versions simply because I prefer those. Backstory: The evil Mongul is forcing Batman and some of his greatest friends and foes to compete with each other in a race to the death! The only rule is that they can't use their superpowers. Who will win? DC Superheroes Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr First up, we have the Bat Family with their racers. Batman is driving a small version of the Batmobile while Robin drives a racer in the colors of his acrobat costume and Nightwing drives a dark racer with the features of a bird. I'm particularly proud of how the latter turned out. Bat Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Of course there are flames coming out of the back of the Batracer while Robin's racer has some circus lights and Nightwing has a version of his truncheons as a bumper. Bat Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here are the racers of some of Batman's best friends from the Justice League of America: Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman. GL's racer is mostly green aside from the big Lantern logo on the front. Aquaman's racer is hydro-dynamically designed, complete with golden fins as the spoiler. Wonder Woman's racer is about as patriot as her outfit. JLA Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr As you can see in this rear view, even the rear bumper on Wonder Woman's cart is star spangled. JLA Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Look, down on the road, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's the Super Racer! Ideally it would have the "S" shield instead of the stars on the front, but I'm purist, so this had to do. Next to him are his two recent movie villains, Lex Luthor and General Zod. Luthor's racer features his signature green and purple color scheme while Zod's has the same dark colors as his space ships. Kneel before Zod's racer!! Super Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Zod's racer, much like his ships, has green exhausts. Luthor's cart is powered by Kryptonite and has a tube that also connects this power source to his ray gun. The two Kryptonians better steer clear of this racer! Super Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here we have Joker and his crew. What kind of vehicle does the Clown Prince of Crime drive? A clown car of course! One with lots of colors and his face painted onto the front. Riding next to her Mr. J is Harley Quin in her red and black checkered cart. And on Joker's left is their accomplice from the funhouse, the Riddler. His racer is kind of shaped like a puzzle box and is mostly green. But what are those purple markings supposed to represent? Can you solve this riddle? Answer: Joker Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Harley's racer is even more checkered in the back and her spoiler has a similar shape as her jester hat. Joker Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr These are the racers of three of Batman's villains who have a freaky look to them. Two-Face's racer is perfectly split into an orange and a purple side, Poison Ivy's racer is completely made out of plants, and Scarecrow's racer is shaped like a square coffin and is covered in various creepy things. Freak Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Scarecrow's and Ivy's racers leave a trail of fear and poison gas, so I wouldn't drive behind them if I were one of the other racers! Freak Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here we have all the animal themed Bat villains. The Penguin is driving a classy cart that looks just like a big penguin who is sliding on its belly. Killer Croc's racer is basically a crocodile on wheels. And Catwoman's racer - you guessed it - looks like a black cat on the prowl. Listen to that engine purr! Animal Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Catwoman's racer even has a tail. Penguin's vehicle is amphibian and has a propeller which allows him to drive on water as well! Animal Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Mr. Freeze's racer is basically a fridge on wheels. It's a modified zamboni ice resurfacer that Victor Fries built himself. Powered by a special diamond, it can travel very fast and leave a trail of ice. Bane's vehicle is basically a mini version of the drill that he used to break into the Batcave. And yes, the drill on this one spins too. Freeze & Bane Racers by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Bane's drill has the same kind of details as the regular sized version and the diamond on Mr. Freeze's racer also powers his freeze ray gun. Freeze & Bane Racers back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I hope you liked them. Please cast your vote for who you think is the best racer in the poll above! And please support this project on Cuusoo! I am already working on a Marvel edition, but it will take some time until it is complete. Let the race begin!

    [MOC] Batboat

I'm sure others have shared the same experience i've just had of starting out making a slightly modified version of a build and ending up completely altering it past recognition... I give you my MO[C/D] Batboat: http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071747638 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071749042 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071804878 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9071808202 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=9069584453 Comments and suggestions welcome...
  3. Hello good people of Eurobricks! I have recently purchased the DC Superheroes Funhouse Escape set, but it has not yet arrived. It looks to be a very nice set, with lots of potential of modding. What I am wondering is this; has anyone found or carried out any interesting modifications on the set that I could perhaps replicate on my copy? I'm asking about enlargements, editions and reductions to make an already nice set better to look at and better to play () with. I don't expect tutorials or anything like that - although that would be great - simply ideas would be fine. Does anyone have any?
  4. New pictures - I changed Batman to the classic blue version and changed Damian's sword to fit the comic: Hello everyone, Backstory: Robin x Assassin's League The following mini-MOC was inspired from Batman #657 and #658. Damian looks at Tim Drake as an unworthy partner and believes it is his birth-right to overtake the mantle. After a brief spar, Damian sucker-punches Tim and he falls from the T-rex, crashing into a display case that held the first Robin costume: The old Robin cape is beneath him, with pieces of the uniform lying around. In the comic, Tim falls between display cases holding an oversized penguin and an old Batsuit. I decided to use "previously-worn" Robin suits instead because it felt more appropriate, given the situation Thanks for looking!

  7. Batboat / Batsubmarine Batjet Batwing New 52 - inspired Batmobile Tumbler concept Batmobile - Classic Style Hello everyone, I completed several vehicles for Batman over the weekend. Here are new pictures as promised (still not the best quality though - all black MOCs are really hard to photograph sometimes, sorry!) First up is the Batboat / Batsubmarine. I wanted to make it look like it could travel both on top of and under the water: Both cockpits open up One side has an escape jet-ski Pop-up torpedo missiles on the left side Pop-up grappling hook and harpoon cannons on the right side The top opens up Batcomputer and workstation on the right side Spare Batsuit, Batarangs and equipment on the left side ============================================================================== Next up is the Batjet: Retractable landing gear in the rear. I used this Lego piece: Pop-out boosters on both sides for supersonic and long-distance travel The top part also opens up and the boosters can be removed for a larger cargo bay Pop-up missiles and flares in the back for bad-guys trying to chase Batman ============================================================================== Next is the Batwing - a smaller aerial vehicle for patrolling Gotham City: A set of 4 harpoon-missiles are below the front nose of the Batwing ============================================================================== Next is a classic-style Batmobile inspired by Burton's series and older comics: No gadgets or missiles yet. I'll probably add some in later on... ============================================================================== Next is my Tumbler concept - an older MOC but a few small changes were made: I put in a double-hinge. This way, it can open parallel to the cockpit, rather going straight up like my classic Batmobile ============================================================================== Next is another Batmobile inspired by the 'New 52' comic series and the 'Ankonian' concept by Lamborghini: Rear fins can be put down for a sleeker look A tight fit, but computers in the back for Robin and a Batarang holder (window removed for picture) Twin thrusters in the rear ============================================================================== "Which one today, Master Wayne?" Thanks for looking! Comments and suggestions are more than welcome

    [MOC] Batman's Bat-Copter

So I was bored the other night and decided to dismantle Joker's Helicopter from set 6863 to convert it into a Bat-Copter. This is my first time doing a vehicle MOC so CnCs are welcome! On to the pictures. I might need to reshoot some angles though. 12. Here's a ride for bruce wayne - lambo, I'm currently out of bricks so I couldn't make it movie accurate colors. It's rather chibby build, not any particular model in scale. I hope you'll like it!!! : D http://www.flickr.com/photos/90007636@N08/
  13. As all we know in all 3 parts of Nolan's trilogy we don't see any Robin's vehicle. So here's a try how it would maybe look like ; ) Here it is on a landing platform in my batcave moc (I don't have Robin minifig, still waiting for it so all the pics will be with batman ; ) ) comparision with a bat moc with open cockpit some more shots enjoy it and tell me what do you think : D thanks for watching!!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/90007636@N08/
  14. The minifigure-scale Batman Tumbler has reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO Cuusoo! Congrats to 'BrentWaller'! I'm so conflicted on the idea of this becoming a Cuusoo set. Cuusoo is so backed up that if it does become a set, we wont see it until the end of 2015. LEGO can just do what they did with the Western Town project and say that it conflicts with a set in production. I really hope they do make this, as it is just2awesome! Do y'all think this will become a set?

    MOC: Arkham Incident

Arkham Incident A rather simple build depicting holding cells within Arkham. Really, I made this as a test to see how I’ll make Arkham when I make Mad Love in Lego, and I got some useful info out of it. Enjoy ~Nemo

    MOC: Batman: "Trial"

Trial A recreation of the episode “Trial”, from Batman: The Animated Series. Ah, Trial. This is one of my favorite episodes from Batman the Animated Series. It’s similar to Almost Got 'Im in regards to the villains playing off each other, and I think that’s one of the best parts of the episode(s). I have to say I was a bit nervous building this since I didn’t know if I’d have enough 2x2 Dark tan tiles—turns out I do! With two to spare! Enjoy ~Nemo

    MOC(s): "Batman: Heart of Ice"

Heart of Ice Batman Animated Series This is the second longer series of creations I’ve made based off an episode from Batman: The Animated Series, the award winning episode “Heart of Ice”. This took significantly longer then Almost Got ‘Im, though that’s totally due to my laziness. Anyways, enjoy the creations that depict the new origins of Mr. Freeze—which we all now can’t live without! 1) Title This is how I will always remember you. Surrounded by winter. Forever young. Forever beautiful. Rest well my love. The monster who took you from me will soon learn that revenge is a dish best served cold... 2) That's Mr. Freeze to You Load those canisters…hurry! Are you done? All set…uhh…ahhh! The Batman! Freeze! That’s Mr. Freeze to you! 3) Nora My God! Yes. It would move me to tears, if I still had tears to shed. 4) Warm Hand to Hold The snow is beautiful, don't you think? Clean, uncompromising... And Cold. Like the swift hand of vengeance. I saw what happened to your wife…I’m sorry. I'm beyond emotions. They've been frozen dead in me. That suit you wear, a result of the coolant? Very good, a detective to the last. I can no longer survive outside a sub-zero environment. Tonight, I mean to pay back the man who ruined my life... our lives. Even if you have to kill everyone in the building to do it? Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with the hot wind in your face and a warm hand to hold. Oh yes, I'd kill for that! 5) Icy Revenge Stop... Please... I beg you! You beg? In my nightmares I see my Nora behind the glass begging to me with frozen eyes. How I've longed to see that look frozen on you! 6) Warm Hand Awaits I failed you. I wish there were another way for me to say it. I cannot. I can only beg your forgiveness, and pray you hear me somehow, someplace... someplace where a warm hand waits for mine. --- Enjoy ~Nemo

    [MOC] Batspeeder

Okay so admittedly, these pictures aren't the best. I usually won't upload them in this state. However, I took this apart before I looked at the pictures so this is what I've got. Anyways, I built this over a year ago when I first got the new Batman sets, and I'm still quite happy with it. April 2013 Flickr Set Facebook

  25. Bruce Bat is one of the most wealthy citizen of Fabuland City. During the day he has parties with Fabuland's high society, but what nobody knows is that at night he dresses up like a man (the natural enemy of any animal) and becomes the feared Caped Crusader, the Bat-Man! Together with his feathered friend Robin the Bird Wonder, they fight villains such as Celina the Cat, Killer the Croc, or Oswald the Penguin. Here you can see him stopping one of his most notorious enemies from robbing the Fabuland Bank: The Hopper, a rabbit whose brown fur got turned white after he fell into some chemicals, driving him mad. Will the Bat-Man be able to foil his plans? Tune in next time to find out - same Fabu-time, same Fabu-channel! Here's a closer look at the hero and villain, and the Batmobile! I hope you like it. I tried to recreate the simple and colorful look of the Fabuland sets (without actually using many Fabuland parts since I barely have any) and still have it look like a Batman scene. Any comments or criticisms are welcome. Have a fabulous month!
