  2. Flameo my fellow Avatar fans, I’m a huge fan of ATLA and I need your help. Recently I have submitted a project on LEGO IDEAS, it's the Spirit Oasis from Avatar: The Last Airbender. As you might know LEGO IDEAS is a website which allows users to submit ideas for Lego products to be turned into potential sets. So If my project reaches 10.000 supporters it may become an official LEGO Product. Many Avatar Fans including me would love to purchase another LEGO ATLA Set since the original sets from 2006 are not available anymore. Check out my project: The Spirit Oasis Project on LEGO IDEAS All you need to do is press the support button and create a free LEGO Account if necessary. Thanks a lot, Every supporter counts!

    [MOC]Claudia

Hello, this is my latest project. It´s Claudia Cristiani from the comic "click" by Milo Manara. Well there are four comics. The original title is "il gioco". She is a lifesize model. I built her in a naturalistic way. I hope you like her. The remote to turn her up!
  4. Before starting a flame, it is a rhetorical question, and the answer is, of course, no. Still, I cant help thinking of the amazing models I admire every day on flickr and the failed Ideas (due to lack of votes or non-approvals) lost forever, and I wonder if those afols realize that making one last effort to create instructions or to record a brief video tutorial could give their works the immortality they deserve. However, remembering Andy Warhol's controversial lessons, if there is the technical possibility to reproduce a piece of art, can we still consider it art?

    [MOC] Gallery of Modern Art

Hello everyone, something a little bit different for a change, especially architecturally: A modern, artistic building that grows from the ruins of an old one... topped with an over-the-top golden sculpture. An overview of the pieces of art found in the gallery. A few notes: Top row: The bee is from a Unikitty set, as well as the piggy next to it that didn't make it into the gallery after all. The ugly dark red figure is a Bionicle "minifigure", the ice sculpture from a City advent calendar. Second row: The orange thing is mostly from a Moana set, the blue disc from the Dimensions game. Third row: That silver thing is a Ninjago spinner thing. A brick separator was kinda mandatory. :) The gold sculpture is from an old reverse-engineering contest, and the white thing from Nexo Knights. Bottom row: Left is a plate from the German footballers CMF. The floors: (Detail images on Flickr.) » Flickr album with more photos Hope you like it...

  11. Hey all! I made a lego version of Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' painting using lego. I am very proud of it and would love your feedback. You can also see other designs I have done on my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/legologoart/
  12. Hi I'm legologoart! I've been building with legos for forever, but just recently started sharing my designs on Instagram. I use Lego bricks to recreate logos such as Google, Pepsi, and Apple. I would love to have some fellow lego lovers to give some feedback and check it out at https://www.instagram.com/legologoart/ Have a great day!
  13. Millennium Falcon Painting Hi guys, I am Lee from Hong Kong, and I have joined Eurobricks for a few years by now, but I have never posted in the Star Wars forum before, so I guess a little intro won't harm! I browse for cool LEGO MOCs around the world on a daily basis, and while I often enjoy seeing what others build, not many of the pieces would really impress me so much that I would remember for years, but the Spider-Mosaic by Thorsten Bonsch is definitely one of them (https://www.flickr.com/photos/xenomurphy/8313941921/)! Ever since then I have always wanted to try to make something similar, so as soon as I saw the TBB LEGO Millennium Falcon Contest said that we can present the MF in any style, I already knew what I have to do. The artwork is based on one done by MediaGraffitiStudio (https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/listing/59230392/star-wars-millennium-falcon-fan-art?show_sold_out_detail=1), with some personal touches for the colours based on what I had in mind. Hope you enjoy it!
  14. Bardo is known for it annual music festival, and one of the constant reminders of the importance of music in this island town is the statue of the Pied Piper at the center of a small fountain near the center of town. Children and animals seem drawn to the statue. Some say the wind plays an alluring tune when it blows around the statue at just the right direction off the ocean. And local custom has turned the fountain into a wishing well. And it's not just children who throw coins in the well; couples also believe the fountain brings good luck. A view of the full build: ------------ A quick build to add a small art & culture property to Bardo. All C&C welcome.
  15. Hi everyone! I follow your great creations, posts and comments but haven`t shared much myself until now. I`ve finally "learned" how to post images from a imagehost (dah), then it will be easier to share my own creations here at Eurobricks as well. Feedbacks makes it much more fun to create and share! I`ll start with my newest creation called "Chillville Museum of Art & History", which is a museum, of art & history, in my Lego city aka Chillville. You`ll also find my Legolife on http://instagram.com/chilis_no -I hope you like my grand new museum! It has a new roofdesign made of DBG bananas, grand tinted glass entrance from floor to roof, candelier and a massive staircase of glass. Enjoy! Welcome! The friendly waiter welcomes you with a apertizer on the grand opening day, stirred but not shaken. The owner/artcollector and the curator enjoys the balcony. New use of of bananas in DBG, selfdesigned. Grand entrance, welcome in! 1st floor with cashier desk and art of the old days as well as present days. Selfdesigned staircase in massive glass. Staircase to.... ...the 2nd floor. -More art & history and entrance to the balcony. A closer look at the arts and crafts. The friendly minifigs, cashier - visitor - waiter for the grand opening - owner/artcollector - curator Hope you liked it! It`s not my first MOC and not the last ;)
  16. Looking for a ornament for the tree or a unique gift? Here is my entry for this year's Winter Village contest... a Glass Blower's Shop. The Glass Blower is showing off his skills for the village kids. The interior is a shop on the first floor with living space above: The interior of the workshop features a light brick in the furnace. Thanks for looking!
  17. As SvenF shared his awesome entires to the ReBrick Modular Contest, I thought I'd do the same! Remember, maximum is 16x16, yellow-faced minifigures only and must add to any of the existing modulars. Having said that, let's begin with.... Donatello's Art Studio: An old-style art studio, with all sorts of details and painings. Talking of which, there are three of them reminiscent of real ones: A map of Europe on the back wall, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer and The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. Donatello is the blonde guy's nickname, honouring Donatello the Renaissance Italian painter, the other two bearded minifigs are the judges; they'll decide whether Donatello's work is worth an exhibition or it's just a mere copy of old work... . Would be located on the 1st floor of Pet Shop's brown building. Right now it is at 5th position of the most liked entries, with over 350 views! Jean's Bakery: A modern, sleek bakery, with a vintage touch! White bricks, chequered floor, palet tables are jst some of my favorite details in this one. Jean, as you can imagine, owns this bakery in the south of France, there would be a crêpe-o-maker, but there was no space availabe for that. What there was space for, though, was Jean's second favourite thing: music, and not any sort of music, but classical music. That's why he has the today unused machines there were to play it: a grampohone and a record player. Would be located on Assembly Square's blue building ground floor, instead of that rather boring café. Jean's Bakery is clocking 31 likes with only 300 views, and at 3rd position! Thanks for bearing with me and my long speech, leave comments if you liked it!

    Metru Nui Chutes System

Hello everyone! Today I would like to present you my little project, M.N.C.S. (Metru Nui Chutes System). Each of us has heard about the chutes of the City of Legends. And I've always imagined how looks the real map of this fantastic "subway". Where are some lines and how to come, for example, from the school of Ga-Metru to your friend, if he works in the Great Archives in Onu-Metru? A small atmospheric picture. And now... This is a map of chutes. It looks like another subway maps. And I think, that the official picture can't present us the fullest scale of the legendary tubes. But now it is possible to travel the route in your imagination throught the City of Legends. It was made in Visio Pro and Photoshop. The bigger version you can find in spoiler. And there are a posters that can be hanging in Chutes Stations of MNCS. The bigger version you can find in spoiler. Again. That's all. And I'm so sorry for my English, because I'm from Russia( Enjoy!
  19. With the recent concert tour of "A Head Full of Dreams", Coldplay's popularity has risen drastically, therefore why not create a project of a popular group. The set is a concert stage, so the builders will be able to use it for their own customs and other play features. This set will include 4 exclusive minifigures of the group: Chris Martin Jonny Buckland Guy Berryman Will Champion Additional features include: Upright Piano Electronic Keyboard Drum set 2 Guitars Amplifiers 4 Beat boxes (green, red, blue, black) microphone I invite you all to be a part of this project, support and make something incredible become true.

    MOC: Brickhills Avenue

Hello fellow EB members; I present my newest MOC with a distinct American feel from the 1940's - Brickhills Avenue. It was inspired by a trip to Disney's Hollywood studios several years ago. I was really interested in the Art Deco/Streamline styling of some of the stores on 'Sunset Boulevard' and 'Hollywood Boulevard' and did some research to find out where they got their inspiration from. Many of these buildings are based on real one's in and around L.A, many of which are still in use today albeit with different purposes. The corner store houses Gini's electrical store and the white and black streamline building is a ladies clothing boutique. I certainly enjoyed making the ladies store more than the electrical shop I've set it in the early 1960's, just as the 'Walk of fame' stars we're being added to the sidewalk/pavement, also a good excuse to use some very cool Scooby-Doo 1960's hairpieces! Anyway on with the pics - all 7 of them; You can see them at flickr if you prefer on the link here: https://www.flickr.c...s/52656812@N04/ Any questions, comments or suggestions welcomed!
  21. Just a nice web find I wanted to share.
  22. Hello! This time I'd like to share my latest project: a drawing machine that is inspired by Joe Freedman's Wooden Cycloid. The LEGO version uses freestanding boxes that can be moved around the turntable. A slight change in position creates a different pattern. Further adjustment is possible by placing the drawing arm onto the different pins on either drive box or changing the position and distance of the pen. Placing one end of the arms further from the center can create a pattern up to 20cm in diameter. The variation possible with this setup makes it almost impossible to repeat exactly the same pattern. Now since I'm a huge fan of psychedelic music and digital art, I wanted to make the video resemble some of the artwork we always see at the outdoor parties. Without giving too much away, I'll let you grab a drink, turn the volume up and enjoy the video! Full write up with more images here. Thanks, Mik

    [A-G07] The Town He Took

Note: This Experimental Tablescrap was a bit too late to join Challenge 4, so here it is as a non-challenge entry instead. Location: Hennigan II Tags: Civil, Piracy, Art Objective: Obtain This Thing I Want Some time ago, Bazug visited a planet called Hennigan II because Farmolis was closed-minded about Alien Artisans visiting, and he desired to wander around a grassy place owned by Octan. He found a town called Nwot. It is called that, because it is like a normal Town, just Nwot the same. This is that town: The Town He Took by Actor Builder, on Flickr Zoom Image provided by Octan Zoom-O-Matic 2000: The Town He Took by Actor Builder, on Flickr Bazug enjoyed the interesting feel of Nwot. It gave him a strange sensation...Was it the feeling of being inside-out? Or maybe being backwards? It was something along those lines, and Bazug liked it. Bazug especially liked the Plants of Lengthy Elongation that he found all lined up nicely. Here is a candid shot of Bazug and two POLEs. The Town He Took by Actor Builder, on Flickr As can be seen from the picture, Bazug was very happy to find these. Hence his large grin. Bazug wanted this town called Nwot. So, he wrote his name on it. The Town He Took by Actor Builder, on Flickr Zoom Image provided by Octan Zoom-O-Matic 2000: The Town He Took by Actor Builder, on Flickr By wrapping a large rope around the POLEs, he signed his name. Then Bazug had a home. The locals did not find out that Bazug was living there until one week later. But that was not a big deal. They just ran away because Bazug's art was too hard for them to understand. The town called Nwot, from that point on, belonged to Bazug Debug. Please note, Bazug does not actively live on Nwot. He uses it as a farming base for his operations. All his agricultural needs for his art are taken care of here. Thank you for viewing my tablescrap. Comment and criticisms, puns and witticisms welcome!

    [MOC] The Scarlet's Perch

This LEGO Model is of a Scarlet Macaw currently being displayed at the Dallas Zoo in relations with the "Nature Connects" exhibit by Sean Kenney. This model will be on display until April 10th 2016. This model is just under 12 inches tall and features a "tree stand" for displaying. It was an interesting challenge to get the curves of the bird with correct proportions to the real bird, but all pieces are connected and it is quite sturdy. Thanks for looking! ~JU
