  1. I'm designing a build in Bricklink Studio and I need to know which angles a locking hinge plate (newer 7 tooth version) can be set to without the element being put under stress. I can roughly eyeball it by zooming in, but I prefer to set an exact angle. I know this information must exist somewhere, but my searching skills are failing me. Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Hi everyone, I'm searching for the best motor to measure angles. Since I don't have all motors, I'm depended on those, who have them and could a comparison. Requirements: The motor must be compatible with the C+ Technic Hub, used for example in the 42100 The resistance, when turning the motor manually, has to be as low as possible When the motor is turned manually and you stop turning, the motor should not continue to turn with too much swing. 2. has more priority than 3. I have tested the C+ L and XL motor so far. I also have the large angular motor, but it is simply too large. The internal resistance of the C+ L motor was way to high. The C+ XL motor delivered quite ok-ish results. It is just too bulky. Perfect shape and size would be the Medium Angular Motor, which I don't have. Another alternative would be the Boost Medium Linear Motor. I would appreciate, if someone, who has these motors, could do a test for me. A little teaser why I'm looking for this info: I'm building a truck with pneumatic suspension. I using the angles of the suspension arms to detect and control the height. First proof of concept in PoweredUp is already written and working.
  3. I've been wanting to experiment with roof curvature and multiple angles in buildings for some time now. I also wanted to build a landscape without using any regular green parts, so I just decided to try it all at once! I'm quite pleased with the results, especially the elevated barrel (beer tower, as I have dubbed it), the roof, and the woodwork. I'm not too fond of the dark tan pieces in the white wall, but I have plans to fix that on future builds. Please let me know what you honestly think!
  4. Hi all, I have been recently working on some track layouts and I have grown to like the flex track, even if it is flimsy. My major problem with the flex track is that it is hard to lock it to certain angles. The 0 degree angle is easy to make, just but 2x4 or longer plate in the middle but other degrees are harder to achiece. I recently come up with solution for one locking technique that locks the flex to around 6,5 degree curves, i.e. the max curve. The technique of course requires bit more bricks to make the connection stable but you get the idea. I would like now to ask for other techniques that you have either come up on your own or found online. I did some google-fu but didn't really find any solutions but I think others have come up with brilliant solutions already. So, why don't we make a small info and idea thread about locking the flex track?
